We were a big group, Rogie as our waitress was amazing and very helpful with a big smile in his face despite of the crowded place Will definitely come back and ask for Rogie!

Not our first time, but we enjoyed this night way better than the previous we've had w/ claw bbq. Ms. Irish was very professional and friendly. She accommodates our every call and made our whole stay so relaxing and fun. Kudos to all of your warm-comfy-hospitable customer service, we would definitely come back!

Excellent find! Great place to eat and a lively atmosphere. Enjoyed the famous shrimps. Very delicious and good value for money. Friendly customer service from chef Darren. Highly recommend for an evening out.

Having just had a phenomenal cocktail in Camden passage for £8 I started at Claw with the same cocktail which at £10 was unremarkable and in a half filled glass. My wife’s cocktail was also unremarkable (tasted like bottled butter lemon). The food was OK but unremarkable and at £10 per dish (in the style of Tapas) was also overpriced. The crab mac n cheese had NO inkling of any crab at all. The Salmon was bland in the extreme. The Waiting staff were lovely, attentive without being overpowering. The Bill at £70 was too much for this wholly bland and unremarkable meal.

Came into the restaurant at about 6pm on a Thursday. The place was mostly empty but looked alright, looked like there were quite a few bookings to come but the server was quite nice and was able to sit us by the window. And that was the last we saw of them. After about 10 minutes of not getting service and trying to get attention another couple came in and sat at another table. Within 5 minutes they had their order being taken, meanwhile we hadn't even been offered drinks. 20 minutes in and we gave up trying and just left.

My server was so helpful, such a shame I didn’t ask for his name. It was my birthday, and I was having a bad day. My friends were late due to trains delaying and my cake being smashed, but they were so accommodating. Food was amazing! Love love love! Food wise: 3 of us had 5 sharers and was very satisfied.

I took my Son here yesterday as an early birthday treat, as we both love Seafood. The menu is not huge, but innovative and there is a very friendly atmosphere. My Son ordered the lobster and Crayfish roll lunch time special (comes with fries and salad), while i was more tempted by the sharing bowls. Knowing i would be the only one eating them meant that i only needed two dishes instead of the four or five we had been recommended, which was a slight drawback. I chose crab on fries and crabmacncheese, as they have been known to be popular. I was not disappointed. The fries had been dusted with cajun salt, and the crab mayonnaise was loaded on top generously. (Dont bother asking if they can leave the mayo off as they mix it in first tthing in the morning). The crab macncheese was super cheesy, very comforting and yummy. Not sure if i could taste the crab in it... but i simply stabbed some of my crab topped fries onto the fork with the cheesey pasta and i was in food heaven! No pics as my phone had died by then, but i will definately be going back to try more of the dishes next time I am in London. The cheeky thing about this place is that they whop on a 12.5%gratuity.... even when there are just two of you! I would have preffered to decide how much of a tip to leave myself, but as i didnt want to embarriss my son by causing a fuss... and we had enjoyed the meal, i was happy to pay it on this occasion.

This place is bafflingly inconsistent... Lets start with the good,the crab roll was to die for, the grilled greens were heavenly and the jerk prawns were every kind of next level awesome uou could imagine, I will definately be back for those 3 items However... the octopus, whilst well cooked tasted of absolutely nothing and the mac and cheese was a dry, dull and lifeless affair made with so little love i considered calling child services. Speaking of service, most of the staff were lovely. However our server was unfortunately the one exception, he was rude and dismissive, and proceded to have arguments with and swearing at other staff members whilst standing next to us. Overall though I will be going back as the majority of the food was delicious.

Fab little place serving simple fresh food in an imaginative way. Mainly tapas style seafood but also meat and veggie options on the menu. The menu is quite small but food is delicious - ideal for a relaxed lunch. Cheap & cheerful cocktails and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Discovered Claw on TripAdvisor and decided to try it as we were in the area of Carnaby Street and was looking for some seafood. We were not disappointed and really enjoyed our visit. The restaurant is a simple place, no table cloths, manage your own utensils – you order and people just bring you the dishes as they are ready. We had all the recommended dishes, from the fries with crab on top (skinny fries with a punch of peri peri spices and a dollop of crab salad on top – yummy) to the grilled octopus (with polenta and truffle oil – again nice although I am not a fan of polenta), to the crab mac and cheese (creamy, delicious madness – not too tart on the cheese and just creamy and flavourful with crab roe cooked in – very nice! My husband loved the lobster and crayfish roll which was served properly on a brioche bread – I prefer bigger chunks of lobster but this was still delicious. Service was fine, the dishes came out at a steady rate and then stopped for a bit before it restarted – probably the only service hiccup. We really enjoyed the food – the portions were small but allowed us to order a lot of different things. I am rather fascinated with the prospect of the chicken wings in fish sauce and the Thai lamb larb – will try that next time along with the tempura oysters and grilled oysters. Humm – getting hungry now…. This is a nice place for an afternoon snack with lots of flavours to ignite your palate – we will certainly be back and try a few other things on the menu!

Was out shopping with my friend, we were in central so decided to head to Carnaby street. We were walking along Kingly street (behind hamleys) when we passed this place Claw, which looked like it did good food. We went in and told the waiter we didn't have a booking so we sat by the table looking out to the street (good place to people watch). It was comfortable enough. I knew right away I would enjoy the food here. Plenty of seafood with a few meat and vegetable dishes to accompany......I have attached a photo of the food. I would say that the food is fusion, with a touch of Asian / Spanish / South American ingredients. We had: Grilled octopus - octopus was cooked perfectly, the polenta and cheese went well together. Aubergine Squid - how can.you go wrong with crispy squid? This dish again was super delicious with a great contrast of texture and flavour Fish tacos - one of my favourites of the night, light flour tacos with lightly battered fish, a honey sauce and fresh tomato, really refreshing and tasty. Skinny fries with crab - my most favourite dish of the night, must get this!!! Peri peri salted crispy fries with a creamy sweet crab topping DELICIOUS Roasted greens with anchovy butter - another new combo of flavours for me, loved the fresh greens with the creamy salty butter (needed a bit more lemon though) We also had dessert - almond and cherry ice cream......quite a sweet and overpowering flavour, didn't really enjoy it personally. Blueberry cheesecake ice cream was quite nice but again quite sweet and heavy for a dessert. A few of the ice cream flavours were out of stock. The place has a great vibe and it was busy. Alot of couples and small groups. Great place to get a few dishes and share. Service was A LITTLE slow, but the manager was very kind and gave us free desserts, so excellent customer service. I really enjoyed this little place. Good food and great fun to eat. Enjoy

The choice of food and the variety of flavours is great! If you're a seafood fan then this place is definitely to be tried at least once. All dishes cooked really well and the fish is melt in the mouth. The group I visited with, chose a selection of dishes to share. Each dish is a little on the smaller size if you're looking for a substantial meal but you can pretty much overlook this because of how delicious the food is. Definitely a quality over quantity restaurant. Simple but delicious were the Grilled Greens with Anchovy Butter. I could have eaten a lot of these! The Giant Jerk Shrimp was full of flavor too, they didn't last long! I probably wouldn't recommend this as a family friendly restaurant (unless you have adventurous children), but for a special occasion or a foodie lunch, it's great.
