Extremely rude,chicken nuggets are fryed with masala fish and when I asked for a receipt he refused to give me one

The food was absolutely disgusting. The chips were raw, and the fish had been sitting there since yesterday. The only thing is good was the service, and the pizza 🍕 was nice over all wont go back

Dirty disgusting unhygienic place found metal in my chicken could of got seriously ill eating it in 5 months pregnant honestly wouldn’t eat this from this place again even if it was the last place on earth I’d rather starve needs to be shut down putting metal in peoples chicken.

Classic food is always top tier, I always go here and the food always hits the spot. The pizza is soo good, chicken and chips is really good ❤️

Very tasty food excellent quality and very reasonably priced

Use to come here a lot but I’ve been disappointed too much by them recently. Cold food, runny watered down curry sauce & uncooked chips. Salad is never cut properly , given huge chunks and pieces of onions every time inside burger and with meal.

Got doner meat and chip only live less than 5 mins a away was cold had to reheat the food only had a few little bit and throw the rest away avoid waste of money

Overall, good last time, i took chicken pakora i think that was fried in the same fryer where they fried fish. There chips are not too good but fine masala fish was good sauces are nice.

Popped in for fish and chips, to be honest food so bland in taste I only ate about a third of it, dustbin welcomed the rest. Chips not good, fish no taste curry sauce watery. Personally I wouldn't recommend, needless to say I won't return.

I wouldn't eat from here even if the food was for free the food tastes disgusting and the chicken and chips felt old cooked days before and I am sure the mayo has gone bad all food ordered landed in the bin

This place use to be very good, recently gone downhill due to new staff taking place. Orders are either wrong,under cooked or burnt to the crisps, had to return the food due to burnt and uneatable.

Brilliant value for money, don't know how they do it, always good, consistent quality, have been using Classic for a number of years, nearly always ordering the Chicken Tikka kebab in nan bread, with salad, chilli and mint sauce (the fresh chicken tikka meat, not off the "doner meat"). The place is exceptionally clean and the staff always pleasant.

Love the naan kebab. I call this a dirty kebab because of all the chili sauce dripping over my hands . Not very healthy even though I have salad 😁. I recommend this place for food.

Food is soooo bad just had a chicken burger and chips the burger was sooo hard you couldn't even chew it over cooked, nasala fish and nan was horrible aswell the only decent thin was the chips I definitely won't be ordering from here again ever

Seen a huge difference between 2015-2018 the food is just getting worse and worse. The food is just disgusting, would never ever recommend Edit 2022:, seen quite a big improvement throughout 2020-2022, food is actually really nice, visit this place weekly and is quite consistent, only downside id say is that they are a bit stingy when it comes to putting sauces on your food.

Honestly, The service is pretty bad. When you ask them to put more sauce they won't. Ptretty rude especially that old guy. Or the tall young guy. The only employee who is worth to be spoken to or order from is that small young guy 4/10 if you dont catch the young guy dont bother.

The food quality is great in classics compared to all the other chippys in the area, also the food is very cheap and can be enjoyed all year round it is also very tasty for children personally my children love classics chips compared to anywhere else. Great chip shop i would recommend you try it out.

Asked for a medium kebab came home with not even half a kebab really dry asked for sauce looks like a teaspoon of sauce only and barely any lettuce

Regular customers of this shop and never really had any complaints, their donner naan with salad is lovely, and everything is served hot

Last few times we've had chips they're inedible used to do lovely food but not anymore.

This chip shop is the best around, great price to. Pizza's are exceptionally tasty. Have recommended it to others.

I was told that this used to be an excellent fish and chip shop. Not anymore. I asked for fish and chips and when I got home I found easily the smallest fish I’ve ever seen in a fish shop. I couldn’t help wondering how small the smallest fish’ option was. The chips tasted like they’d been made yesterday and then warmed up. The guy serving was abrupt and disinterested and made me feel as if I was preventing him doing something else. Awful.

Normally ok, but this evening 3 meals all with under cooked chips. Straight into the bin they went, I should have realised when he checked the chips. Still served though!

Quite a few chippies round this area but in my opinion this is the best one, great food for great prices

Use this chip,shop all the time The place needs an over haul and the food hygeine is a 3 which is poor, but....the food is great apart from the cod.... It’s so cheap though compared to other chip shops and the food has always been good and portions great, Recommended

Very generous with the portions here, however, it was a shame that the taste wasn't so good. The counter assistant was very chatty and pleasant with it. Good selection of other fast food if you don't have fish and chips.
