Clarence Park Cafe in North Somerset

The staff were very rude, will not be returning. We were waiting for coffees the cakes we ordered were on the counter. We were told abruptly to take the cakes , by a member of staff . She said l need to serve the next person.

Absolutely lovely hot chocolates with all the trimmings served by a friendly member of staff. And the style and feel of the place is like a lovely old-fashioned park cafe when such things were much more common. Well done to all. A credit to Weston.

Disappointed with first impression under new management. Visited many times previously and always impressed with range, quality and price, however no longer the case. Visited on opening, ordering a flat white coffee it wasn't the best, little coffee flavour but passable, as recently opened put down to teething issues. Visited again last week and sorry to find no improvement in quality, asked for replacement and while second was hotter it still lacked any depth of coffee for a flat white. Expectation for £3.20 would be a strong coffee flavour, not hot milk. Appreciate chef came over to enquire although offered little reassurance, simply asked me what could they do! Would suggest all staff trained to same level on making coffee.

Ordered food through uber eats for this place and was so so good for the money! Will have to pop down and try it sat in the park! Had the breakfast ‘make your own’ wrap and was so tasty and still warm. Also ordered a iced caramel latte very good! Will definitely be ordering from them again and going to explore the park and find this place for myself.

We stopped at the cafe on Sunday afternoon. We’ve previously had drinks here but this was the first time we’d eaten here. My husband had a bacon & egg bap, which he really enjoyed. I chose a Brie & red onion chutney focaccia toastie and it was fantastic, so tasty. Not only that, but when I mentioned that neither of like much milk in our hot drinks, the girl at the counter arranged for us to be given a little cup of milk on the side so we could put the milk in ourselves. Thank you - it’s the little touches like that that make a real difference. We don’t live locally but will definitely stop at the age each time we visit Weston.

This is a lovely well maintained park . It’s a nice walk around it ,the squirrels come right up to you .

We visit this wonderful cafe often as we love walking in the park. It’s so lovely to have it in the middle especially as the food is great & very reasonably priced. And the staff are so friendly & pleasant. The highest praise is very well deserved!

Even though it was January it was still lovely to sit outside and have tea and a bacon sandwich. Quick and pleasant service. Good value.

This cafe has been a real life-line since it re-opened last year. Good value, honest food. Family friendly. Sit on benches /at tables provided, or takeaway.

Always stop by for a drink and sometimes something to eat when I go for my walk. There is a bit of everything and very regularly something new and home made to try. Friendly service and quite affordable. The queues there are sometimes say enough.

Clarence Park Cafe produces a great variety of food for a such a small site. There’s always a queue of customers when I visit (which is regularly). The staff are really friendly and efficient, and I’ve never had a bad experience eating there. The cafe is provides FREE used coffee grounds for composting, and for 50p you can buy your dog a ‘pupachino’! Amazing!!!

We visited the cafe for the first time last week and were presently surprised by the prices. We didn’t eat but the food coming out looked amazing! £1 for a cup of tea was great and I look forward to returning again soon to try the breakfast 😋

Great food and great service! This little gem is very popular with locals and visitors alike. The coffee is delicious and their home made cakes are scrumptious too. And start the day with their different options of breakfast, sitting in the park.
