Fantastic hotel. Can I say a huge Thankyou, again, for the superb service from Becky and the rest of the team. Nothing is too much trouble and we were made to feel very welcome. Very dog friendly hotel and special mention to Becky and the chef for going that extra mile for our dog ( she especially appreciated the breakfast 😁) Room was also lovely and I would not hesitate to recommend. we will be back again soon. Thanks again

What a great place to stay in Cheltenham ! Staff are super friendly and helpful. Really go the extra mile to ensure your stay is enjoyable. Our room was beautiful with every amenity you could need for a lovely stay. The bed was very comfortable and the location really quiet making for a great night’s sleep. Although lovely and quiet the location is super convenient for both the town centre and Racecourse. Less than 10 mins walk into town or a 5 min drive to the Racecourse but you could walk. Onsite parking was another bonus. Cocktails in the bar made by the friendly happy team were delicious. Left my make up bag in the room and they contacted me and reunited me with it. I will definitely return . Many thanks.

Overall, good. Check in was fine. Booked breakfast for a certain time so we could get out of the door for the airshow. It was 15 mins late, and there was virtually nobody in front of us. Also, being on the ground floor, the room was noisy as it was right by reception. Nicely appointed, though.

Had a single room over the weekend and met my family who were also staying there in one of the bigger rooms. My room was fine, not the best Ive ever been in but remember It’s an adapted older Georgian property with lots of period features, rooms on different levels accessible by stairs, so don’t expect glass & chrome, and mood lighting because you won’t find any. The location is close to town centre, which is only a short walk away, so you can leave the car. It was quiet overnight. Nice. Parking is available organised through reception. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Dining area is welcoming. The staff were lovely, everyone was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. That’s what makes the difference and makes it a 5 star review.

I booked 4 rooms for a group of us to stay here for a friends hen weekend. The staff were incredibly welcoming and allowed me to go into the rooms prior to check in to decorate and to leave gifts as I had planned. The rooms were decent sized, clean, and beds were very comfortable. The breakfast in the hotel was much needed each morning after a night of fun and they very kindly put us together on the tables. Food was hot, tasty and there was plenty of it. The restaurant also had a very good deal on cocktails which was a bonus! It was very well decorated and a great meeting point for us before our evenings out. I would 100% recommend staying here. The town is a short walk and there is so much to do. There is ample parking and everyone is more than happy to help.

I held my 70th birthday dinner at the Clarence Court Hotel. Becky the manager went out of her way to make everything perfect. She is great at communicating and made sure everything was perfect, even accommodating the magician . I would definitely recommend it.

Away with work, I was lucky to be able to book into the Clarence Court, with on site parking and a short walk to the center, it's in a perfect location. Overlooking Clarence Square this Georgian mansion house is perfect. My room was on the first floor, it was a lovely size with high ceilings and sash windows overlooking the square. The hotel staff made my stay special and made me feel welcomed throughout my stay, can't wait to come back.

Another great boutique hotel very close to the centre of Cheltenham and a short-ish distance from the Cheltenham Racecourse. Relatively new owners who are pumping money into the place to smarten it up and modernise it.

Quirky hotel but great location for exploring Cheltenham. This hotel is not suitable for anyone with a mobility issue as the stairs are all incredibly steep and also the entrance steps are extremely steep and narrow. Free customer parking is a bonus as the square is full of parked vehicles. The room was clean if dated and certainly requires some tlc. Staff are charming and helpful. Breakfast was adequate there was quite a choice.

The menu at this restaurant is incredible—there were so many amazing dishes to choose from that I had a hard time deciding! The food was absolutely outstanding—10/10 for both taste and authenticity. We started with the chicken pakoras and fish pakoras, which were simply the best I’ve ever had—crispy, flavorful, and mouthwatering. For mains, we tried a variety of naan and curry dishes, and every single one was perfect. The meats were cooked to perfection, tender, and full of flavor. The service was exceptional as well. The waitstaff were polite, friendly, and knowledgeable, even helping us choose some of the best dishes on the menu. The interior had a stunning, fancy hall vibe, complete with beautiful Christmas lights that created such a cozy and festive atmosphere. We ate to our hearts’ content and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We’ll definitely be coming back very soon!

The quality of the food offering is excellent but the pricing is on a par with best in London; £3.60 for a plain croissant!!!! or over £4 for an almost canape sized sausage roll. Service would get 5* if my order was taken from where I am sitting; they do bring it to you though
