CJ's Cafe and Milkbar in Blackburn with Darwen

I am badly disabled now I do like the steak pudding from here NEVER AGAIN 1st time they came out drove pass me took 13min to get to me 2nd time same again 3rd time same again 4th time even worse he didn't just drive pass my home he went in the CUD-SAC now my instructions were very clear a 5yr old could understand do not go into THE CUD-SAC he than got out and walked my food was cold I did scream at the stupid little man and this is suppose to be the owner I said 16min its taken you since you drove pass my food is called the very thick man said "HOW DO YOU NO" I said here feel it take it back and came in NEVER GET A TAKE AWAY DELIVERED unless you want it cold

We have been here many times over the years... lots of choice of items for a very affordable lunch with excellent fresh filter coffee. The introduction of a soft ice cream machine is a real bonus... had lemon merangue pie with the soft ice cream... delicious!! (As was my panini) There is inside and outside seating to suit everyone's preference.

I ordered full breakfast which i really enjoyed and my girlfriend had chicken burger & chips which she said was a bit bland.Also had a banana split to takeaway which she said was okay.Call in and try the food you can't please everyone all the time.

called in yesterday for a coffee and ended up having lunch, had myself the steak and kidney pudding with home cut chips mussy peas and gravy my husband and son both had cheese burgers and chips, oh absolutely delicious what a little gem. Its been such a long time since we've been in here that we will drop in again soon and not just for coffee next time either. the staff are so friendly and don't rush you out once you've finished....lovely place.

Its full of regular customers and friendly staff with table service. The full breakfast lives up to the description - fried egg, beans, 2 sausages, sliced mushroom, 2 hash browns, tinned tomatoes and black pudding added even though it wasn't on the menu. The bacon was a bit tough - too long on a hot plate I suspect. Rounded off with 2 slices of thick white toast and a cup of proper coffee. Good value with plenty of change from a tenner.

No matter what you choose you will enjoy your breakfast.You will get warm welcome as well as a hot breakfast and it won't break the bank no matter what you choose.This is a regular eatery for me and I cannot think that this would ever change.

This was the first time we had our food as a takeaway as we were eating on the go.It was no trouble or bother to CJs and the quality and quantity was as good as ever.Eat in or eat out, it is always good, and good value!

This was the latest of our many return visits. The food was hot and plentiful...and the filter coffee can't be beaten for the price. A warm welcome along with the warm food awaits all who visit.

We always go here when we're in town it does a good selection of tasty foods, never been disappointed by anything they do I can highly recommend their house club sandwich and their coleslaw is homemade and lovely reasonably priced too

Went here for a bite to eat while out shopping there club sandwich is to die for its one of my favourites as well as the breakfast they do

When shopping in Darwen this is the place to park your butt for a great snack. The bacon butties are delicious. Always busy but the staff are quick and curtious and very friendly.

Absolutely love cj's haven't been for years until this week and it's not changed same brilliant food and good services given there was a small glitch 3 orders for breakfast one was forgotten but quickly rectified and very apologetic was worth the wait thou. My favourite cafe in Darwen and will again become a regular visitor
