Staff were vere friendly and the beer and good at a reasonable price i will definitely eat their and again.

Decent enough place with good value food. Disappointing beer offering though - 6 lagers on tap but nothing in the way of an ipa or pale ale to be found on keg.

Basic, no frills (in a good way) traditional pub, and really inexpensive. Like the train times displays for both stations, I will remember that next time I am in Bradford - really great idea.

Always friendly & attentive staff, the menu is affordable with a wide range of food options & service is fast. Plenty of seating ground level & upstairs, accessible entrance on Piece Hall Yard. The full English breakfasts are so tasty with vegetarian options.

Little bit Wetherspoons, first impression but friendly staff and a good range of food and drink, great service, and sensible prices. Nice to find a good pub in the city centre.

Bradford city centre is.... well, if you know, you know. The City Vaults is a great place. There's always a good number of customers in, and there's always a couple of decent beers on. The good is fine, cheap, functional. The staff are great. As I sat there and had a couple of pints, the friendly atmosphere of the place seeped into me. I had to go after a couple of hours, but I could have stayed a lot longer. I've been to City Vaults a good few times over the years and was always happy enough with it, but now I realise I really love it.

Not very much space and drinks were a little expensive

Always come here as there amazing with my little boy who is a very fussy eater . We had the Christmas dinner yesterday and me and my daughter thought it was amazing . To be fair the food is always amazing what ever you get but I really enjoyed the Christmas dinner.

On a night a St.Georges Hall though we would call for a bite to eat, loads of places to eat, clean and friendly environment. Ordered a streak asked for it medium rare but it was a little overcooked but apart from that it was hot and tasty.

The best place I bradford to.get food friendly staff

It was my first visit to City Vaults, although I'd heard good things about it. It's a historic building with lots of steps. The food was really nice. As it was just a lunch. I went for the fish goujon sandwich. Very tasty with a side salad and chips. My only complaint was the tiny tea pot! Just one cup? Seemed a waste of a pot to me. It could have been made in a cup. The gents toilets were a bit of a hike away but easily found. I didn't spot the disabled access. As I said, there are lots of steps. Service was reasonably quick and efficient.

I had an American burger with chips. I'm not usually a burger person but this was absolutely delicious - the meat was soft, the barbecue pulled pork was so tasty and the chips that came with it were lovely and big everything was really nicely cooked and hot. We'd checked the reviews before coming and weren't at all disappointed 😊

A very cosy traditional english pub. Stuff and the customers are relaxed and friendly.

This pub is in a nice old building and there's a beautiful large stained glass ceiling on the ground floor. The menu is quite comprehensive, so there's something for everyone and the prices are very reasonable. The food was very good and there was not much of a wait. The staff could be a bit more warm and welcoming, but otherwise, we enjoyed our visit here.

Buena relación calidad-precio, pero decepcionante que no hacen menús infantiles, así que la porción de pescado con patatas fritas era demasiado grande para él.

Lovely meal recommend the steak and ale yorkshire pudding, taste divine but it said giant yorkshire pudding and it was more like a medium. I would still recommend.

City Vaults is my favourite place for an amazing English Breakfast! The food is top class, the vibe always welcoming and the staff are very friendly, all makes for a great experience as a solo diner.

Unfortunately, I had to edit this. I have been in tonight, and most of the pub has been sectioned off, so there was no where to sit. I had to leave and go to trusty wetherspoons. It's such a shame as it's a really nice pub, but to not have adequate seating at 7pm is disappointing. -----------first full 5 star rating I have given in a few years. Had the 8oz sirloin stake, and it was lovely. Full off flavour and not at all dry even with it being well done. Staff are really lovely and all smiles. Customer focused, I will definitely be returning.

We tried various bars whilst staying in Bradford and none were a patch on City Vaults. We never normally keep returning to the same pub but everything was spot on here - all staff that served us were so personable and friendly, the food was beautiful and the prices great. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

Not been in for years. Caught up with family. Big place, lots of different corners and mezzanine. Food good! If you don't want to walk far from the station, or don't want to walk uphill, I recommend. Went Thursday teatime, and quiet still at 8.00 pm.

Nice bar. Plenty of little nooks and levels make it feel small, but it is really big. Nice atmosphere, very relaxed. We didn't eat but the food looked good and very reasonable prices.

Difficult to fault for a very reasonably priced inderpendent city centre Gastro pub. I regularly visit Bradford for work a few days in a row. Menu has pleanty of choice and the food is pretygood and importantly not expensive. Decent Beer and various areas to sit from bar with sport on screens to other spaces with just Background Music as well as outside. Staff very friendly. If your looking for a very fancy gastro experience this is not it but for an everyday place to eat or inexoensive and decent meal out or a place till time its great..

Fantastic place. Good food. Perfect for a family lunch. I had lasagna which was rich and tasty. The Hallomi fries were a bit salty for me, but my partner found them delicious.

Great pub in Bradford city centre, good value and friendly vibe, if you're heading for a Spoons try this place instead first. Their Yorkshire burrito (Yorkshire pud wrapped up like a burrito) is a cool idea!
