Had two amazing cocktails last night. Rhubarb and custard and pear drops. Hats off to you!

Enjoyed a couple of beers with my wife before going to see Elvis next door at he theatre..

7.95 per drink minimum good price great service and excellent taste got Jamaican Mule and Starburst.

Nice place for pre theatre drinks

A great place with a great selection of drinks and a smile. The lads behind bar were great especially asking before a drink if I was allergic to anything. However the hardest working person I saw with a fabulous smile was Kaya, thanks all for a great night.

Poor a not big crowd tonight but long queues at bar waiting for over15 mins to be served only 2 behind bar and there seem unsure of what they was doing at times.

Large lounge for a Victorian theatre. Plenty of staff but slow flowing beer taps.

Circle lounge is a lovely place for cocktails to have with friends and family, I come quite a lot with different people and I love it. There is such a wide range of cocktails and shots, my favourite cocktail is sex on the beach with sweets and shot is jammy dodger. The staff are lovely very attentive and can make you a cocktail that is not on the menu ! I will continue to come here as I live it and it is my favourite bar in Halifax, very affordable too !

Genuinely some of the best cocktails I’ve had anywhere in the world. Recommend the Margarita and the Espresso Martini.

Best Margarita I’ve ever had and I’m a latina so I’m a picky margarita drinker. Bloody Mary is also great, but the best of all is the price.

Great bar tenders and a massive range of cocktails. Lovely little spot for pre drinks to Piece Hall gigs.

Top notch little bar. Ordered wine and beer so can not comment on cocktails. Nice vibe. Cosy upstairs, outdoor street seating. Nice ambiance.

Absolutely love thus little cocktail bar. Such a range of drinks and non alcoholic drinks too. Great music great atmosphere. I had my tradional pina colada picture below. But also had the banana foam cocktail. Soo yummy too.

Came here for cocktails & shots after a meal. Drinks quality and variety was great - the sweety cocktail novelties are great. Staff were very friendly and great fun. We managed to be there on a quiet (but not too quiet) night and it was just right. When busy would be a bit much for me.

The only reason I've deducted one star is because there is only a single toilet for each of male & female, meaning there can be a long wait when it's busy, and it is only a small place meaning it can get very crowded. But don't let that put you off, it is definitely worth a visit! (try the green fairy...) *update* apparently they haven't made the green fairy for a couple of years and it's now... Pretty poor! Portion sizes have reduced (and I'm fairly sure the juice/alcohol ratio has decreased) but prices remain the same.

Lovely cocktails here and nice people. Probably one of the only decent places in Halifax that actually stays open late.

It looked nice from outside, so we popped in for a few drinks. They've only got a couple of beers on draught, but lots of cocktails and mixers 👌 The bar is cosy and the staff are friendly, funny too when they make the cocktails 😁 Music played was cool, decor is all theatre related and kind of quirky. They had all the covid rules in place and we were seated and had our drinks order taken at our table. I suppose in normal times, it would be a bar to visit before or after watching a show at the theatre, which is close by. Prices are reasonable and I'll come back again soon, especially in summer so I can sit outside 🍺😉

Lovely atmosphere and GREAT cocktails. Graham and the rest of the boys at the bar was very attentive, funny and friendly that we ended up drinking more drinks as originally planned. Ferrero Roche cocktails was lovely but dangerous LOL! A must for anyone that would be around the vicinity for a nightout.

A very nice small bar, connected to the theatre providing pre show drinks. We weren't in town for a show but as we strolled past the place looked nice and so ventured in. The staff were nice and we sat upstairs on the balcony which was a nice spot, the stage style decor added to the nice feel of a good traditional British bar with a bit of personality!

This bar is essentially a cocktail bar. Not bad cocktails has 2 lagers on draft. It's very near the Halifax theatre if you want a drink before you go in. Also near several other bars if you want a bit of a crawl. Polite bar Staff and good atmosphere.

Great menu, I'd recommend the jammy dodger shots which taste exactly like the biscuit, it's mad. Every drink is made to perfection and there are so many to chose from you are spoilt for choice. The prices could be worse but is a tad expensive for halifax but honestly don't begrudge it every once in a while. It gets busy quick, they really could do with larger premises and a longer bar to get some more people serving as on a busy saturday wait times can be long

Intimate bar with the best cocktails I've ever had. Bar staff were friendly and informative! Loved it so much that I'm planning a night out in Halifax to introduce all my friends to this bar. We only popped in for a quick drink before going to the theatre but loved the drink so much we were late getting into our seats! I can't wait to return and sample more cocktails. The menu includes all the classics and loads of new innovative ones that made my mouthwater just reading the menu. Well worth a visit to Halifax just for this bar and it's very reasonably price beautiful cocktails.

A perfect hideout in Halifax. Lovely team that is knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging. Great atmosphere paired with very fair prices (lesser drinks in London cost 2.5x more!) makes for an excellent night.
