Cinnamon Tree in North West Leicestershire

Not been to the cinnamons tree for a while was pleasantly surprised there’s new staff all may I say very pleasant and made you feel at home the food was excellent as was the service five star Can recommend the food first class

We have been visiting the Cinnamon Tree for at least 14 years but have to say after tonight never again!! Firstly we were not offered poppadoms We waited an hour for our starters and were told whilst waiting there would be no naan breads as the oven was broken However when the starters eventually arrived we were told we were lucky as these had been cooked before the oven broke (but obviously not served for some time!!) when the main courses arrived no hot plates for them Every dish contained loads of garlic cloves!! The offer for the evening was 4 courses for a set price with the final course bring coffee or ice cream We requested ice creams to be told they no longer did ice creams and hadn’t done for some time (May I suggest that the advertised menus are changed then to reflect this!!) After all these years it will sadly be the last time for us and judging on tonight’s fiasco I expect to see the boards on the windows very soon

We went to this restaurant about 4 years ago and whilst it was Ok it didn’t make us want to rush back. Fast forward to today … we had read rave reviews recently and thought .. why not. Well we were blown away. Staff very polite and very attentive… food was amazing… venue was lovely… price … really really good! We definitely won’t leave it so long next time! Just go… and hopefully you will also have a great time

We thought we would give these guys a try as bein using the same curry place past 15 years,we was most definitely not disappointed at all the food came piping hot saying its a 15 min drive to our home,the food was plentiful and flavoursome and the best bits was onion bardgie were insane and extra chesse garlic nan was oozing with cheese just how like it 😀 will definitely be back for more

Haven't been here for about 4 years but 10 of us visited for rare family meal together. Food was amazing, service was great & the price was very reasonable. Can't fault it

From walking through the door to walking out the service was second to non ! Amazing food ( never had a bad meal yet in years ) soooo welcoming and friendly, not one thing could be faulted , keep up the fantastic work and Thankyou

Start with the negative, it was the first date night in over a year for the wife and I and as we regularly have cinnamon tree as a takeaway but never actually eaten at the restaurant, we decided cinnamon tree was the restaurant of choice for the evening. We are relatively new to the area and was a little surprised to see that the building looked run down and the sign only spelling out cinnamon r on the side. However, stepping inside took the dread away. The decor is minimal but stylish and inviting. Now we arrived when the restaurant had only just opened with a last minute booking, when we arrived there was only 2 people in the entire restaurant so we was astonished that the waiters decided to seat us right next to the pair of girls. Personally if I can see that a couple are coming for a meal I would seat them in a more private area unless there was no option, however there was plenty of option as the restaurant was empty. The next downside was the drinks, the wife had a bacardi and coke and I, a pint of Cobra. The beer was almost ambient temperature and the wife's bacardi tasted slightly off as in the coke was flat and bacardi tasted like it had been sat there a while. Anyway, looking past these issues we felt uneasy as we could hear the girls conversation and felt we could not relax and have our own conversation as they would obviously hear ours. Not a date night feel at all. The food was amazing though, thoroughly enjoyed it, I ate until I was in agony and couldn't fit any more in, I was determined to complete everything even my wife's portion as she felt too uncomfortable to eat having practically been sat on the same table as the only other people in the restaurant. We will return for a date night and ask to be seated in a more private location if the restaurant is quieter, the food is delicious and excellent value for money. We will also continue to get takeaways from this establishment as it is our favourite Indian restaurant in our area by far. Definitely recommend a visit here, but ask for a more private table if you are on date night!

We order a take away from here at least once a fortnight and the food is always delicious. Love the Naga - tasty but doesn't blow your head off. The Hargoza king prawn starter is amazing, they should do it as a main course on the menu. Delivery is always on time if not early. We love it😁

First meal out since last year. Food and service were both excellent. I asked if I could make a slight change to my meal and the chef happily obliged. Flavours were amazing. My eyes were bigger than my belly so I asked for a “ doggy bag” and I enjoyed it all over again for lunch at work the next day. I highly recommend and I will be going to enjoy another lovely meal as again soon. Thank you to the staff for being attentive and very pleasant 😃😃

Visited with my wife and 2 children for the kids 1st visit to an "Indian" restaurant The service was excellent and they really helped the kids enjoy the experience. When the food arrived it was delicious and there was more than enough to leave us all feeling very full.

We have not had a Cinnamon Tree Takeaway or been to the Restaurant for a while . We had a takeaway this evening and it was the best Indian takeaway I’ve had for a ages , delivery was very prompt and food hot very enjoyable

We always look forward to our visits to the cinnamon Tree. We were disappointed with this visit. The starters were sent back as they were not cooked properly. The main courses to smaller than in past. Service was best described as average. Not the best experience would think twice before a return.

Went midweek in August and benefited from the government’s eat out to help out scheme. Table booked for 8pm they were rammed and sat down late. No social distancing, no masks worn by staff, tables still close. Cutlery just dumped on table by a staff member. Menus were not disposable paper ones either Had to wait for drinks, lots of people were having to wait for their food, me included. Mine was way too salty and I left it. No recompense from the staff, their reply was you’ve got 50% off thanks to the government what more do you want”? It’s a shame as it was once unbeatable, I don’t intend to set foot inside again, the staff have changed, no Ali who was lovely to talk to.

We visisted on the 5th August, table booked for evening, when we arrived we had a short wait of around 5/10 minutes to be seated which was fine, but when we sat down and was ready to order another couple came in, their food was ordered and had arrived before we even had our food ordered even though we were sat down and ready first, we waited almost an hour and half for our food to come whilst everyone around us were eating something. We was tempted to leave until the food was coming over to us! The food is amazing and always has been when we have ordered, definitely the best curry around, just not impressed with how long it takes for the food to come out!

We are regular customers of the Cinnamon Tree, we have enjoyed good food from there regularly. However the service has been extremely poor the last two times we have ordered from there. The previous time we had waited over 1.5 hours for our food to arrive, and when it did arrive one of the lids had come off the containers and the food had spilled inside the bag... today we are still waiting 2.5 hours after ordering for our food to arrive. It's understandable that there will be delays during these difficult times, but you should not be telling customers their food will arrive in 1 hour if it's going to take more than double that time? If you had been transparent and told us that the restaurant was busy and delivery times are slow, we would have come to collect instead.

We love the Cinnamon Tree and have missed the amazing food and wonderful warm welcome so, so much during our period of enforced isolation. Not being fans of takeaway food we had resisted an order from anywhere until now, but we all need something to lift our spirits in these strange and uncertain times, so on Saturday night we took the plunge! We have never had a CT takeaway before and were a little apprehensive as to whether it would live up to the exceptional standards of the restaurant…. and we were not disappointed! Admittedly we needed to do a little re-heating, but that’s only to be expected, and we can happily report that even in takeaway form our meal was absolutely superb. As ever, each dish was bursting with flavour and full of fresh herbs. Anyone who likes prawns must try the Jhinga Special, and the Tarka Dhal really is the best in the land. It was also brilliant to see the smiling face of Abdul for a few minutes with our delivery and find out how the guys are getting on. Keep up the brilliant work Cinnamon Tree, stay safe and see you again soon :)It seems odd to see some poor reviews posted below. We are genuine connoisseurs of Indian cuisine and only post unbiassed reviews on Tripadvisor. We have consistently found the Cinnamon Tree to be the best Indian restaurant in the entire area by a significant margin and would urge anyone who has never been to give them a try, you really will not be disappointed

I haven't been to this restaurant for quite some time as I wasn't very pleased with the quality of food or service last time I went, I had been a few times and been happy with it,

We decided to try a take away from here after are regular Indian had closed. We had 3 different curries, first my mothering law found a large hair in the middle of her curry half way through eating her dinner. Then i found another 2 hairs at the bottom after nearly eating my whole curry. Totally put us off, clearly no hair nets were used. The poppadoms tasted old, they were very soft. Will not be ordering again from here.

All staff were very friendly and courteous and the surroundings cosy & informal. Further visits definitely intended.

I've been to this restaurant on many occasions & this was far the worst visit. There was no atmosphere as only a few tables were taken. It was cold with only a small fan heater to heat the area, any heat it gave off didn't reach our table so I ate my meal with my coat on. The meal its self was ok, not amazing just ok. The staff were pleasant but not very attentive. We were left disappointed that no chocolate was offered when settling the bill as this had always been normal practice before. I won't be returning in a hurry.

First ever takeaway food ordered from this restaurant. Booked on Just Eat but estimated time for delivery (one hour and a half) was exceeded by over another hour. I appreciate they were busy (Valentine Night) but when the food arrived it was cold, looked awful and tasted diabolical. It spoilt a family triple birthday gathering. Most ended up in the bin.I had heard in the past that the restaurant was good so I don't know if it has changed hands. I hesitated using this place when I saw the Environmental Health 2 star rating recently. Whatever the problems are we will never use the Cinnamon Tree ever again.

Took over an hour for the popadums to arrive after just couldn't wait any longer for the mains so took them as take always they still charged full restaurant price. The place was empty on a Saturday night and have to say after our experience which was our first we will not be going again £90 for effectively a tack away.

Visited four times in the past two months and each time the food has been outstanding. The staff are very polite and helpful, varying the heat of the curry to suit each individuals taste. The service is slow at busy times but the food is worth waiting for.

Met friends for a birthday meal. Food really good - tasty rather than too spicy. Catered for all our needs. Service good but not quick. A little too near the door so got a little cold when people came in for takeaways.

This was our first visit to the Cinnamon Tree. We'd passed a few times and it looks lovely from the outside. Pleased to say inside was really nice too, very modern but warm, inviting decor. Service was good, food was second to none. One of the best I think I have tasted. Tandoori salmon to die for and great Bombay potatoes. Other 3 diners had various curries and everyone was pleased with their meal. Best chutneys we have ever had. Why only a 4 rather than a 5? Poppadoms were just a tad soft and there is no desert menu. We would have spent more if there had been good ice cream although we were all stuffed by that stage. Definitely recommend.

We hadn't been for six months or even longer, and it was soooooooo good to be back! Ali and the team gave us a tremendous welcome, and we were excited to see an updated menu with a smattering of new dishes. We had honestly forgotten just how superb the food was here, each dish created with the freshest ingredients and bursting with flavour, all magnificently presented. K, Mo and Akeem gave us brilliant service as ever. We won't leave it so long next time :)

On this family visit my wife who is very dubious about spicey food asked the staff to recommend something not to hot this they did with great care. My wife stated it was the best Asian food she had eaten. Staff were superb. Food was excellent I would recommend a visit to anyone. Thanks for great night.

The manager Ali opened the restaurant early just to be able to cook and deliver a large order for me and my family (14 people), food was delivered bang on time and piping hot and the quality was tip top as always is, would not go anywhere else whilst this chef is there !. Quality never drops !

Menus grubby, a page missing out of one menu. Messed the order up, came back with another curry which was a completely wrong. Glad I didn't have an allergy. When complained they brought the "complaint book" out and was told next time we come tell them we complained previous. Staff really didn't seem botherd about the complaint and we was told they couldn't do anything else. Overall big disappointment been coming here for over 8 years. Each time we come it seems to get worse. This will be the last time.

Family of 5 arrived at the restaurant having Pre booked at 7pm on Saturday. Waited only 5 mins for drinks and poppadoms, great start. Order taken after 15 mins or so. Waited over an hour for starters! Tasted lovely but cold. Assumed an oversight. Waited a further 1 hour 20 mins for mains. Mains cold. Again tasted ok but cold. Didn’t want to wait any longer. Tables around us all complaining. Drinks service very poor. Sat for a long time without drinks and waiters not offering a refill. Disappointing and won’t be returning.

We live local and we’re so lucky to have the Cinnamon Tree as our curry house. I have genuinely never had a better korma. We’ve travelled around the country and around the world and have all agreed that we have never found a curry better than here. We are regulars, whether eating in or taking out, for many years. The staff are always great, helpful and friendly, and it is just consistently great food. Whenever we have family or friends over, we ALWAYS take them here, and they are never disappointed. Thank you so much to all at the Cinnamon Tree, we’re very lucky to have you.

One of the best Indians I've had in a very long time! Fab staff, warm and friendly service and utterly beautiful food. Prawn korma and coconut naan was mine and I can honestly say my mouth is watering remembering it! Highly recommended, looking forward to my next visit!

Just had a take away order a chicken tikka jalpuri it came with black burned onions peppers and mushrooms couldn’t eat any of veg just the chicken very disappointed we are regulars will give it a miss now

Friends have taken me 3 times to this restaurant. Every time the food has been well cooked, with good portions, quick and helpful service. Would recommend.

Went to the Cinnamon Tree for our Christmas meal today ( third time on Christmas Day ), the food was even better than previous visits. Tasted amazing, good atmosphere and service. Realistically priced for Christmas Day and won’t hesitate to book again. Suitable for families, friends and couples, traditional Christmas dinner was also on the menu if required.

The food was the best Indian I've had in ages, such a good range of options, including vegetarian options. Really tasty food and perfect portion sizes. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Hardly anyone else in the restaurant which was such a shame to see that not many people seem to go. Would definitely recommend.

We visited the Cinnamon Tree expecting good food because of the reviews I'd read and a recommendation by a friend. We enjoyed the food, when it was finally served. It took 1hr 15min for us to be served with our starter. Other customers who came after us were served before us??? We finished our meal at approx. 9.15 and were chatting away and my wife said that the waiter had taken my drink, which I hadn't noticed. I told another waiter and he brought it back??? After waiting so long they were apparently trying to get us out the door and the place was empty??? Not one of the waiters was polite and there was never a friendly smile. It ruined what good have been a good night out. So we will not be visiting or recommending the Cinnamon Tree.

Lovely food always have the most amazing curry from here, excellent saag aloo and omlette. Definitely recommend!

Very good food, service a little haphazard. Wide choice, and more than willing to accommodate and advise on dishes. I can recommend you visit. It is a destination place as it is in the middle of no where so be aware of that, fairly large car park though.

The Cinnamon Tree is my favourite Indian Restaurant, It's the one place where I know we will get the best food, Fresh, Tasty and they will even suggest things off Menu, like Tony's 'Salmon Paratha's' these are superb.

Orderd through just eat with delivery time of 45mins expected which the restaurant added another 30mins on so 1hr 15wait then after 1hr 20 they ring and leave a voice mail to say there not deliverying.i rang to b told lie after lie blaming weather, then distance so 9.10pm n no food a pathetic service.deliverd here before n will never order again from this restaurant.

We’ve been coming here for a few years now. Being from Birmingham originally I’m used to eating pretty top notch Asian cuisine, and I know my curries well. When we moved to this area we tried several restaurants, they were all just ‘ok’ but nothing like we could get in Birmingham....so we would travel back there if we wanted a good curry.

I can not comment on the restaurant but we ordered a take away for delivery. Unfortunately half the food delivered was cold. The main dishes were eatable but the rice was cold and so were the chips. The choice was very good and the the food we could eat was very tasty but spoilt by the temperature. I recommend eating in and not having a delivery.

I had heard this was a fantastic restaurant and so decided when visiting the parents to get a takeaway as this place is just down the road. We went along to pick this up, so we could see the restaurant, very, very nice. Great friendly staff and a beautifully renovated old pub cum Indian restaurant.

We love this restaurant! Visiting Milad, Akeem, K and Ali is like setting foot a home from home, the welcome and service are second-to-none. But it's all about the food at the CT, and I honestly believe there is nowhere better for top quality Indian cuisine. The presentation, freshness and depth of flavour are incomparable. And if you don't believe me, I challenge you to try it for yourself!!!

If you want a authentic Indian meal this is the place to visit. Great choices, attractive interior and superb service. Sunday and Monday they offer a banquet menu at a great value price. Good choice of Indian beers a good wine menu too.

We thought we would give this local a try after a while since we went last - that was a mistake. The place is now looking shabby & biggest issue is the staff even though it was a quiet Friday evening. Service was appalling - staff didn't care & it showed. Staff eating & drinking behind the bar not a great advert in hygiene or sign of a good restaurant particularly when they aren't looking after the few customers they did have,

Decided to try takeaway from my local what a disappointment it arrived on time and when taking paper bag out of plastic carrier bag the contents fell out of the bottom of the paper bag onto my worktop losing part of my butter chicken dish the poppadums came in a greasy bag were soggy soft basically unediable waste of money rest of meal was nothing special after all the good reports ive had was very very disappointed and shall be trying other takeaways further afield in the future

We were here for our 10th wedding anniversary and I must say, It is one of the best restaurants in Leicestershire, which we will definitely go back again. Staff and service was excellent and there is a vast selection of starters and main courses. I must recommend the Lamb Lazzeez and King Prawn on Puree. The dishes are all out of best quality incredients and freshly prepared. Just to have this special experience with the creative dishes being served...it was well worth the trip there. Thank you Cinnamon Tree.

We thought we had an excellent Indian here in Somerset but the Cinnamon Tree topped that. The food was fantastic, very tasty without being hot. Lots of variety of Indian dishes as well as the regulars. Staff friendly and attentive. If we lived closer we would visit regularly

Always friendly service. The food is consistently good, one of the best Indian restaurants in Leicestershire. We always order "off menu" and have developed our own dishes (usually to take away) and we only have to mention our name when ordering and they know our exact order!

This Indian restaurant is alway spotless. Very friendly staff. Very worth a visit. Car park at the side.

Living in the area for 14 years this restaurant has never failed to deliver they have themselves a good Chef, save this 1 in the bank for a special occasion

Arrived at 8 , no menus given to us and no one to ask for ages. We had to ask twice for the 1st bottle of wine. When the mains arrived one had to be sent back as cold, others were lukewarm warm. The naan appeared to have lost its meat! No service with a smile, when asking for a coffee at the end of the night we had to go up to the counter, then no acknowledgment made from the staff and we were unsure if we were going to get it. Then to end it all the bill was placed on our table(without us asking for it) and the front door open, making us very uncomfortable. Won't be going again!

Nice setting, pleasant and very helpful staff.Nice to be given advice on what goes well with each other. Food arrived pipping hot and nicely presented, plenty of it to..had to have some put to take away...this is a must try place even if you have a take out...

We got to the restaurant at 20.00 and it took half an hour to get our drinks order taken and menus provided.When the food turned up it was cold and had to be warmed up, but the worst thing about the meal was the service.It was shockingly bad, no desert menu offered, no coffees offered, bill delivered and when we asked for coffees the waiters just stared at the clock and carried on sweeping up. Then to top if off they stood by the exit door with the door wide open... A not so subtle hint that they wanted to go home.

You simply cannot beat the Cinnamon Tree! Consistently the best Indian cuisine anywhere in the area, Ali, Milad and the team provide a superb friendly welcome, a great menu and the most exquisitely cooked food you can imagine. The quality, presentation, and depth of flavour are second to none. If you've never been, then try it tonight, I you have been you won't need me to tell you this!

Love coming here for special occasions as everyone loves a good curry. The foods reasonably priced and the quality is exceptional, the actual restaurant is would recommend Cinnamon Tree for anyone that loves Indian food or is looking for a high quality restaurant.

We came here in December and had a few concerns about the service which I voiced on trip advisor. I am so happy to report that my concerns have been addressed and I was so impressed with the service I received today. We came for my Mums birthday as we love the food you serve you looked after her so well and spoiled her with her present. We had lovely hot tasty food as usual. The service was great tonight and we had a lovely evening. Thank you.

Our first time here, we were invited by friend's & there were 12 of us in the party, this didn't phase the staff at all.The food & drinks were served to our tables with no problems at all & they looked after the children in the party very well.An all round good experience & we will be visiting again.

Have visited this restaurant a few times now and always receive a warm welcome.Food is amazing we have visited as part of a large group and also a smaller family group and the meal has always been perfect. If you are unsure of what to order the waiter will explain how hot or not the food can be prepared.Can't fault it. Looking forward to my next visit. The garlic chicken is really nice.

Friends had recommended this restaurant as the best in the area so we had high hopes. We got there about 7pm on a Friday evening and hadn't booked but it didn't matter as the place was nearly empty. Welcome was luke warm and the restaurant was cold. They sat us next to a radiator which was helpful!! Drinks order came quickly and we chose from the fairly extensive menu. The poppadums, with normal salads and dips, arrived but they were cold and stale. The food arrived after a long wait on a trolley served in fancy dishes but it's all for show. The curries we had were tasty enough but certainly nothing special. The whole experience left us feeling very flat - service very slow and with no enthusiasm and food distinctly average. I'm still struggling to find a decent Indian restaurant in the area but I've been spoiled where I used to live with some really excellent places. If you're around Sutton Coldfield, try the Shaban on Boldmere High Srteet - it's the best (and never quiet whichever night of the week it is!!).

I've been coming to this restaurant for years. Every visit has been welcoming, they're a family away from home for all of us. The food is the best Indian you can get anywhere in Leicester or Leicestershire. The service is always quick even when they're busy. They're all friendly, they make the experience of eating out better than anywhere else around. Thank you for another wonderful night and many more to come!

I have been going to the Cinnamon Tree since it opened and am so sorry to see the deterioration in the place. The food is still of high quality however the service is very slow and chaotic. Our drinks order was mixed up and we didn't get the drinks until we had nearly finished our poppadoms even though they were not that busy. The staff are friendly and courteous but there seems to be no one in charge and all the staff seem to be used for the takeaways. Another issue is the toilets. They were filthy I could not close the door on one cubicle so tried the other this one didn't lock. I saw this place when it first opened and it is disheartening to see it so run down now. I think it needs a good refurb with the staffing situation looking into to bring it back to the way it was. I can not be the only one thinking this as when we went it was the Friday before Christmas and there were only 3 other tables occupied in addition to our own.

My daughters choice of 'where would you like to go tonight?' and we weren't disappointed. Service - attentive but not pushy, food - freshly cooked and very tasty, atmosphere - nice and lively. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a great Indian experience.

Visited here on a Tuesday evening so was empty as to be expected. Food was average at best. Ordered fresh cut chillies on the side but was never served them. Baltic was served in balti dish but surprisingly was not very hot. Would visit again if was hungry and passing but wouldn't go out my way like I did last night.

This is our favourite Indian restaurant. Service is always great, kids are welcome & food is amazing. The salmon dishes are fantastic. It's clean & welcoming & always quick service. We can't fault it.

We ordered takeaway from here for the first time and we were not dissapointed. We ordered via just eat which was super easy and our delivery time was confirmed a few moments later. 30 minutes were added to the estimated time however it was 8.15pm on a Saturday and worth the wait. The food was delicious and the service great. The aubergine bhaji and chicken Saag was excellent. Highly recommend this place.

The restaurant was very busy but the service, the food and the staff were simply the best. If you want a super meal out you won't get better, the staff are really so friendly and efficient even when they are busy. Can't wait till next time and Xmas day!

This place really is the best in the land! Abdul, Ali and the team give a wonderful warm welcome, have a mouthwatering menu and serve the most incredible Indian cuisine imaginable. Great value for money too, this restaurant really cannot be beaten!

We've ordered a lot from Cinnamon Tree for takeaway all the time. They provide great food and great service most of the time. However, we've ordered a few times recently and had items missed and waiting a massive amount of time during a weekend. 2 rices were missing last time. When you finally get the correct order, the food is extremely good. Well prepared and amazing taste. You get some really unique flavours from Cinnamon Tree where I haven't had anywhere else. Delivery had been lacking with accuracy even when ordering on Just Eat. Shame but this time CT, you let yourself down slightly.

We have had take out from the Cinnamon Tree for a while now & it has always arrived promptly & the food has been great. I have got to say a huge thank you, after I screwed my order up this evening & our plans were spoiled. I rang & explained my problem & the manager was exceptionally helpful. He sorted everything out so that our evening was back on track. If the wife is happy.... Job done! :-) Thank you Cinnamon Tree!

Great food, lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. Never had a bad experience there, great! Nice to have the break out bar so you can have a chilled out drink before going into the restaurant, a nice touch

Fabulous Food, friendly staff. Always welcoming with a smile. We love it here so much that 14 of us have booked for Christmas this year. I couldn't think of a nicer place to spend Christmas day. We visit every week, either take away or eat in.

Awesome curry had the zul zulla and it was lovely. Great meal overall. Service was great too! Naan and Rice in good sizes. Love the randomness to this restaurant!!!

I have been at the Cinnamon tree several times and every single time they have delivered absolutely professional service. food is stunning . people who worked there are really kind and Skilled . highly recommended . Monika

The staff are great, greeting you as soon as you enter. very attentive and make the kids feel like valued customers.A good diverse menu, which is served hot and fresh, no evidence of heat lamps.The carpark always has just enough room, although the spaces are not very wide.Once inside the decor is up to date, clean and fresh.A doggy bag might be necessary and the staff are willing to oblige.and always a thank you from them as you leave.A great meal out every time.

They do a nice curry here and the staff are lovely, they helped me with organising a surprise birthday treat and let me drop off balloons and confetti beforehand on the day before. Really nice atmosphere! You do have to be careful on your first visit though as it can be easily missed if you are driving, depends what direction you approach it from. But it has a decent sized carpark.

It was super busy they do a £10 a head meal deal on Mondays .However a prawn starter was delivered instead of chicken to three of us ,I'm allergic to seafood and fortunately received mine last . Drinks were asked for three times in the end we went to the bar and filled a jug of water up .One main was served cold and one was so greasy it was inedible . We've always thought this was a top end Indian restaurant but it was a shambles really dreadful we won't go back

ordered a takeaway last weekend the korma i ordered was average very flavoursome but incredibly greasy and my friends tikka masala was awful, on the other hand the rice and sides were lovely i think they need to look at the main dishes and find a sollution behind the mass amount of high fat theyre serving

Food took over an hour and a half to arrive and was leaking through the bag when it did turn up. The mains were okay, starter was tasteless, poppadoms soft, and chips were soggy. We won't be using them again.

Ordered a extensive range of dishes for the family for delivery, although it wasn't fast the food was excellent, house special biryani was great, lamb chops tasty and the 3 different naans were excellent. I had never had takeaway before but would definitely go again . Not your average Indian food well above standard.

Heard good reviews about this place. Thought we would give it a try. Food portions good , food was OK nothing to rave about. Nan was very nice. Poppadoms were poor "Not fresh" service was hit and miss. So all in all we were disappointed and won't be returning.
