I discovered Cibo bar on my way to my daughter's school. It is an original Italian bar. I felt immediately welcomed as at home. The food is original Italian. The owner prepares dishes by himself. He is happy to vary from the menu according to my (and my daughter's) needs. After few visits I became friend with some customers. There is joy and happiness "infecting" customers, waiters and owner. I tried salads, smoothie and panini. The quality is excellent. My daughter wanted some fruit. I was about to go to the shop and buy some, as this is not on the menu (I think). The owner must have overheard. I didn't ask for it but after few minutes he came with a fruit salad for her. Sometime I feel I am not in London but in a small village of Southern Italy. The place is comfy and full of love. Thank you Cibo's!

This is genuinely a local and family run restaurant. Bruno, family and staff have good Italian links, so as would be expected the coffee is excellent as are the various Italian dishes on offer. It is a good family restaurant and Bruno, the owner ensures families 9and seniors) are well looked after. Staff are very attentive.

Outstanding service, family friendly, cheerful staff, personal touch, excellent down-to-earth Italian food. As would be expected, a good range of types of coffee, including the rarer flat white. The fennel sausages are recommended. The restaurant serves breakfast until late, which is good news. Clean and neat but not ostentatious, and sells a number of Sicilian items (jams, cheese, olive oil) as well as some Italian biscuits. There are newspapers to browse through (ie there is an expectation you will enjoy your stay- no rush to leave). The toilet has baby changing facilities. The owner wasted no time in coming to assist a mother who had let her child fall, and in a very fatherly way stopped the child crying. I believe this is a family-run business, and, as a team they work hard and well together.

What a blessing Cibo is to Southgate. Great place for meetings. Super coffee. Friendly staff. And never any pressure to leave even if u want to dwell just over one drink. Good always fresh and well priced. Lovely to sit outside on sunny days and with a view of The Green the traffic can be ignored.

I've been here a good few times since Cibo opened and never been let down. The staff do anything they can to help, food and drinks are consistently good. Good portion sizes, freshly made and nothing is ever too much bother. A warm (literally) place for family or friends to visit. Only negative is when its very busy your clothes can end up smelling but that's because everything is cooked from fresh so no complaints really

I come here a few times a week. The food is so fresh which is rare for a delicatessen in north London and is always consistent. Happy and very friendly staff.

Vine aquí para un rápido café y aperitivos. A pesar de muchas mesas vacías no nos permitió sentarnos en la que queríamos, así que tuvimos que sentarnos en una mesa muy cerca de la entrada horrible.

I visited Cibo for breakfast with my visiting family. The place is well lit, and the staff are friendly, and the food is very good - the fennel sausages and the pancetta is delicious. My family also had no complaints about the coffee. My only qualm really is the price. I had the breakfast ciabatta and a bottle of sparkling water and I paid £10 for the privilege. I understand that the ingredients are good quality, but unfortunately the high price means that I wouldn't choose Cibo for anything other than breakfasts with guests visiting,

We visited after being recommended personally and after looking on Trip Advisor to check reviews. The place was nice enough but the breakfasts were average at best, the scrambled eggs in particular were very dry and tasteless, and our bill was around £40 for myself, partner and child. The coffee and small pastries were good and that would be the only reason I'd return.

Good, friendly little cafe for breakfast (including all-day breakfast) morning coffee and afternoon snacks and tea. Staff are very welcoming and friendly and the food is very tasty. I prefer Cibo to the other cafes on Southgate Green. It gets quite full with Mums having morning drinks and also small groups holding business meetings (helped by the free Wi-Fi). I love their ciabatta filled with grilled chicken or spicy sausage and grilled vegetables. They also have some amazing almond biscuits.

Frequent flyer at Cibos for either coffee or breakfast. Its a light bright space with tables and chairs outside and is by far the best option along this little strip of restaurants and cafes. Service is good and so is the food. My daughter (a hungry teenager) absolutely loves the breakfast options and smoothies. The coffee is really good too. Not the cheapest place to eat in the area but definitely one of the best.

We had a family lunch here during the week (as we sometimes do). The portions are huge and quality is good. This is one of the better places to eat at Southgate Green. We ordered a half bottle of wine (£7.50 !!) and were invited to take our time. Great service. Italian cafe with cheerful staff. Thoroughly recommend a visit!

Often visit Cibo as it's local, convenient and consistent. The food is good although the menu hasn't changed much since it opened, but all in all it's pretty tasty. Only three negatives - it's quite expensive and it can be rather noisy when the smoothie machine is on and cappuccinos are being made. I find the toast is rather hard on my teeth!!Aside from that it's a good photo go for breakfast, lunch and coffee.

I went to visit a friend one Sunday afternoon and she suggested Cibo. It was my first time at Cibo. I ordered a salad and was pleased to find that it was well presented and made using good quality tasty ingredients. The staff I saw on my visit were most friendly and welcoming. I would definitely come back again the next time I am in the area.

A taste of Italy in North London. A very cosy location, easy on street parking, with food served using great quality produce. Even if you want to change any items listed on the menu, staff are always helpful. Great coffee, great food, great service. That's what you want for a happy Breakfast, Lunch of early Dinner.

Very clean restaurant, superb staff and a great owner. We visited Cibo while in the area on business and needed some food to keep us going. My husband had The Godfather on bloomer and I had the Amore on ciabatta...one of the best sandwiches I have ever tasted. Brie, cranberry, prosciutto and rocket in a wonderful crispy bread with side salad. Well done Cibo, when we're in the area we'll be coming back.

Cibo is great if your heartily sick of chains and coffee houses that so dominate our high street. The menu is packed with delicious all day breakfast options, filled ciabattas and unusual salads, all with an Italian twist, as well as interesting smoothies and excellent coffee. This time we had posh cheese on toast (Welsh Rarebit with a poached egg), mixed cheese ciabatta, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs with sourdough toast and today's special - aubergine parmigiana with a side salad. All delicious and freshly made. £36 including soft drinks and a coffee. Try their Gelato called Ariela (my daughter's name!) which is available in spring and summer and is delicious. Lovely staff.

Without a doubt, the best breakfast or brunch in the area (although there are some excellent small greasy spoons too). The menu is imaginative with delicious ingredients, mostly sourced from Italy. The pork and fennel sausages are amazing! We try to eat there at least a couple of times a month. A few tables outside where dogs are made welcome. One gripe - it should open for dinner too - I am sure it would be mobbed!

I visited Cibo in southgate as our regular cafe was very busy. The whole Italian feel to this cafeteria is nice, lots of nice cakes on show and therefore was disappointed with my panini tuna melt that i received. Firstly the portion was small and the tuna inside was cold although it was toasted. The service was a little slow and the cafe was not that busy. The staff were speaking amongst themselves instead of looking around to see if their customers were okay, It is a new place therefore i would give it another try as there are always teething problems at first and genuinely believe this could be a goldmine if they get it right

Excellent steakhouse in Southgate Enfield. Very welcoming environment with excellent staff. Very varied menu with steaks as a staple but many other dishes also available. Not particularly cheap but really good food well presented. Wide wine list. Very comfortable environment and good ambience. Street parking easily available. Very highly recommended. Visited again and all the above still applies.

Consistently good over a number of years. Cod is the best and decent size. Haven’t found anything better in surrounding area. Definitely our go to chip shop and never disappoints.
