This is a super cafe where there are lovely cakes and the best tea / coffee / hot chocolate around. I love it.

I received fantastic service when I visited this store last week and the coffee was great too. Celeste served me and was very cheery and chatty with me which made me feel very welcome. I will definitely make a return visit!

Popped in with a couple of friends as we were peckish. Food order was taken promptly and served by two lovely young ladies, they were constantly chatting and smiling away the whole time. The food and coffee was of good quality and I’d definitely recommend anyone to pop in. In summation, good food and atmosphere with great customer service. P.S Sorry to hear you’re leaving celest, would’ve been nice to see you again

This coffee shop puts the well knows coffee chains to shame. The coffee is delicious and very reasonably priced. They have deals on regularly e.g Coffee (any kind and includes flavoured coffees) and a panini for £4.95, Coffee and cake £3 (weekdays 3-5pm) It is honestly the nicest cup of coffee I have ever had. Spacious inside unlike other crammed coffee shops. Support this local business and do not waste your money at Costa (the coffee there is crap and overpriced)

I would have given 5/5 if the coffee shop was cleaner. The tables are v dirty, we had to clean ours ourselves, which is the only thing that let it down. The coffee was so nice, I had a praline cappacino, my favourite from here. Food also appetising, not shy with the filling and it's real food which is refreshing as these places usually use fake chicken etc for the fillings. Recommend the flatbreads so yummy. Service is slow but worth the wait for the coffee. Very busy in the afternoons especially as there are a lot of baby and mum classes on around about so full of newborns and Prams everywhere. Not a place to come for a quiet one but still def worth a visit.

I've visited here before so decided to take hubby for coffee as we were in the area. There were a lot of new mums with their gorgeous babies in today. The babies were very quiet but the mums chatted incessantly at the top of their voices! If you want a quiet coffee then be aware that the yummy mummy brigade were in until about 11:30 before they started to leave. I must also add that the shortbread was the best I've tasted in a long time.

Little stop off prior to a power walk around the park. Soup of the day was spicy cream of parsnip, great on a cold February day. The chai latte was great too and they had soya milk too.

This is an excellent independent café in Airdrie town centre which just gets everything right. Comfy and warm surroundings, pleasant and courteous staff and excellent food and drinks. The tea, coffee and hot chocolate are all great, as are the cakes and biscuits on offer. I haven't had a baguette nor any hot food but I know people who are big fans of the wider menu on offer. This is a gem of a café and it is proving increasingly popular. So much better than the large impersonal chains.

Took the server to long to ring up our order she forgot our drinks so after we finished our sandwiches we chased these up.. Simple order of hot chocolate with hazelnut syrup ended with me drinking a hot cup of milk.

We often pop into Chunky Monkeys when we are in Airdrie. The food always tasty and well presented and the staff are efficient and unobtrusive.

Great selection of coffee and delicious hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows. Small selection of cakes, look great but are very heavy and stodgy. Disappointing!

I moved to Airdire a couple of years ago and was devastated to find no Starbucks or Costa. Made do with Marks and Spencer's in Coatbridge, and to be fair it's good coffee. Then Costa opened on Coatbridge. Choice at last, but still not on my doorstep. Then Chunky Monkeys opened and I gave it a try. So glad I did. In my opinion (and I know coffee taste is very personal) their coffee is the best I have tasted in a long time. Way better that the high street chains and a fraction of the price. Also great for soup n a sandwich and lovely cakes. So if you are in Airdire, support this local business - which usually has parking right outside as a bonus.

I have been to Chunky Monkey's a number of times and it always serves a good cup of coffee. There are comfy sofas and lots of room for buggies, which makes this a really child friendly spot. The cakes are delicious and it takes a lot of willpower not to buy one to eat with your coffee! The staff are friendly and resolve any issues without fuss. Last time I was there we had to ask for a coffee again and there was an issue with the order, but these problems were dealt with promptly. The card machine wasn't working, which was a bit inconvenient. These are minor points though. If you are looking for a good coffee and a bite to eat in Airdrie, this is the place to go.

Booked a table at the Cherry Tree the week before we were to travel to Scotland from Derbyshire. We needed a dog friendly pub which this is. On the day we travelled up, they had to shut the kitchen due to a staff injury, however they honoured our booking.. We’ve just had the best service and a lovely pub meal. The dog was brought her own water bowl too. Couldn’t have been more friendly. Good atmosphere too. Great value for money.

We did not stay in the hotel but booked into the restaurant. The menu wasn't huge but there was plenty to choose from. I had the chicken starter and the steak pie which were both very good. My partner had the pate and the shin of beef. Clean plates all round. Good service and friendly staff.

Good not cooked the way it was asked , asked for a runny yolk to get home and it was far from that if they are incapable of making your food your paying for the way you like it they should inform you beforehand rather than doing as they please still taking ur money

Popped in on a Sunday afternoon for a family lunch with kids. I ordered Lamb Rump and it was delicious. Kids enjoyed their chicken nuggets and macaroni cheese, whilst my wife had an excellent steak and ale pie. Great service, family friendly atmosphere and fantastic value for money. We will go back.
