Amazing food at good price, always nice to xustomer and really homely feel. Starter option are vast and same with mains. Tv everywhere but not tacky didn’t have desserts but by looks YUM.

Booked a meal to catch up with friends, 6 adults and 3 young toddlers. It does state online that tables of maximum 8. However didn't think that this would be an issue due use of highchairs around the table. We arrived and we were allocated a table for 6 and a table for 4. Explained that we had booked to be seated together however advised that there was no alternative tables (despite restaurant being quiet when we arrived). We asked if we could join our tables together but we were also advised that there had to be a gap in between for staff to pass through (table was in the middle of the room and plenty of space around us for staff to walk by) We had no option but to sit apart throughout our meal which put a dampener on our night as the company was separated. Disappointed as we have been frequent customers to the electric bar however felt that staff were not accommodating.

Well worth a 20 minute drive to meet up with relatives who stay locally. Excellent, friendly service and so efficient too. The messaging set up on the table was the first I've ever seen allowing you to page staff for service or to pay . Reasonably priced and good sized portions. Great selection from menu or specials list. Dog friendly too which we're always on the look out for. Cant wait to return.

Rude staff, absolutely miserable and not welcoming or friendly at all. If we weren't attending someone else's birthday dinner we would have left there and then. The food was lovely, the atmosphere was lacking.

Having been to the Electric Bar on many occasions I visited with friends again on Sunday 29th of September 2024. This is an excellent well run restraint / bar. The staff are very attentive and customer focused. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. The food is excellent and always well presented. This is a must visit place for anyone looking for excellent service and fabulous food. I would recommend the Electric Bar to anyone.

Plenty of customers but not packed. I had a burger & it was the best burger I've had in years, my wife had steak pie cooked really well with good fresh veg. We will definitely be back.

Nicole, Kara and Lucy made our dinner- such wonderful staff. They made our night and took care of us. Not only did they take care of us but they were always attentive and ensured our night was carefree xx

Popped in when out walking the dog. Hadn’t booked but the staff were excellent & worked a bit of magic to fit us in. Excellent bar food & choice of drinks. Good size of portions fairly priced. The service was fantastic. Well worth it & will return.

Had meal here to celebrate my Daughter graduation and birthday. Staff great and very understanding when got delayed due to traffic. Didnt feel rushed at all lovely food. Thank you.

I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying good quality drinks (for example Pimm's No 1), and indeed fine dining at the very long established Electric Bar on the southern east flank of Central Motherwell. Located a short walk from the town centre. By all accounts this very long established, and most popular Pub/Diner, offered superb value for money here. In terms of dining space, I understand this remains at just under two hundred [200]. Evidently, very much a spacious establishment located near Motherwell’s sometimes bustling town centre. On approaching this fine eatery, one is met by a disabled friendly car park, then an alfresco dining experience. In addition free wifi, inside and out. My only concern was that they could perhaps increase the accessible parking spaces for patrons. As a disabled customer myself, I found ample car parking space at the Electric Bar on Airbles Road. The main entrance to this large popular establishment had very easy access too, with useful cabin hooks to peg back main entrance doors for ease of convenience assisting this restaurant disabled patrons, the restroom was also very accessible. First impressions inside, The decor was good, fresh and modern adding to the overall ambience of this particular establishment. I was delighted to be greeted by very friendly staff members, for example the highly experienced restaurateur Samantha and her esteemed colleague Carmen. I found all the staff at the Electric Bar polite, well presented and faultless. They had a useful cube on tables to summon service. I saw on offer a vast range of popular brand name spirits’, wines’, bottled/draught beers’, cocktails ciders’ vermouths' and traditional pub snacks. Moreover, a variety of non alcoholic beers and spirits to boot [for those unlucky enough to undertake driving home taxi duties]. With my evening ‘tipple’, I very much enjoyed a large glass of Pimms No1 cup,a real treat and would recommend it, especially now that we are already in the very thick of the UK tennis grass court season. With quality lunches, and indeed very extended opening hours from 11 am till late most days who can complain. Gratuities are of course discretionary. A large pleasant dining area was outside for those preferring a quiet drink or family meal alfresco. I would personally recommend a visit for locals, visitors and tourists alike. In terms of sports in this area of North Lanarkshire, then we have the famous Well’ football team, not to mention Strathclyde Country Park, and indeed other national attractions for example the sprawling Ravenscraig National Sports Centre. For rugby fans, we also have great facilities at Dalziel Rugby Club nearby. For track and field, there is the nearby Wishaw sports complex. Last but by no means least, we also have nearby Hamilton with buzzing NightLIfe. To reiterate a very impressive seating capacity which if required could accommodate around 180 patrons, The fairly large town of Motherwell itself [approx 36, 000 population] is well known for being one of Scotland’s major Steeltown. In my opinion, this Airbles Road Electric Bar fine quality diner remains perfect for conversations and meeting up with family, friends and colleagues. And also recommended for the sports enthusiast too. In my subjective opinion, I would award 9.5 out of ten for this long established pub/restaurant right near the centre of ‘steeltown’ Motherwell. Well worth a visit, and certainly fine dining at competitive prices I would recommend.

Family up from down south and went there for evening meals. 8 of us and two weans. Really quite good.

Great place for a beer and food

Today i visited electric bar which i do frequently with my son and my dog i forgot to take my glasses so i asked my son to read out the menu as I couldn’t see properly We both decided to order the mix grill which on the menu states FROM THE GRILL! Now can you tell me what was made on the grill on the course I told a member of staff that we thought we had ordered a real mixed grill and could we have something else and was told I could buy I would still need to pay for beans sweetcorn hash brown and mushrooms and half of a tomato…. I think you shouldn’t mix your main course with vegan

I am a regular at electric bar but my last visit has now put me off. The food is normally amazing, love the curry! I was in on a Wednesday night, not overly busy with 3 members of staff in the main restaurant part. I will say all very young and no one seemed to be in charge. I have an intolerance to mayonnaise which I said when ordering, I ordered a starter of ying yang chicken which comes with a spicy mayo dip, told them I couldn’t eat mayo and swapped the dip for another, I also ordered a rodeo burger which comes with bbq sauce, no mention of mayonnaise on the menu. Other burgers with mayo on them has it listed on the menu. Starter was lovely. My burger comes out covered in mayo, I stopped the waiter and told him I can’t eat mayo and it’s not mentioned on the menu as coming with mayo, he was apologetic and took it back to the kitchen. Now this is where I have the issue, I could see the kitchen hatch as I was in the first row of tables and very close. The boy in the kitchen was really annoyed I had sent it back. He told the waiter to go and get a menu to prove I was wrong. The waiter and another girl working get the menu and go to the hatch with it where the three of them read it over and lo and behold… no mention of mayo. The waiter walked over and I said ‘see I wasn’t lying’. He apologised again. It was a long wait for the second burger but in that time it was clear I was being discussed by the waiter and two waitresses and the kitchen staff, they kept speaking and looking over at me, at one point someone else from the kitchen - a female, came to the hatch and the girl working pointed over at our table. I have never felt so awkward in my life!!! As someone who visits every couple of weeks I will say I doubt I will go back. The food is always good but they don’t take mistakes well. It’s also important to have your menu reflect what is actually in the food.

Nice bar, shame we missed out on the food, would visit again though. Cracking pint of Guinness.

My wife and I went in as 1st time customers as through for a couple of nights stay. Thought we'd try it out. Wasted a 15 min walk only to walk in go to bar where 6 members of staff are working/congregating. Not 1 member of the staff acknowledged us or said give us a min as we're busy. Stood at bar for near 7 mins decided to just leave. I know staff are busy but a polite welcome and serve you as soon as possible is all it would have taken. Would I go back and try again ??? . DEFINITELY NOT 😡😡😡😡😡

Family unfriendly! I was turned away with my family today, I was told “who goes out for lunch on a Saturday without booking” there were 15+ empty tables and I was told that they were full. Poor service and the manner of the communication could have been better.

Chose here for lunch, main eating area was full but we were directed to the bar which also had dining tables. Service was fast and efficient. Our meals were amazing. Would definitely visit again and tell anyone looking for somewhere to eat to give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

We had a large group of us, 14 and all ordered a variety of things. Food arrived in an acceptable timely manner and food was of excellent quality!! The only thing is I did find it overpriced and chicken portion was quite small especially given price.

Came here on Saturday. Staff were really nice and all customers were happy. The drink are very reasonably priced and the atmosphere was brilliant. They had a live singer on too who was amazing.

Food and service excellent. Unfortunately the restaurant allow dogs in for some reason?? Nothing worse than trying to eat a meal with the smell of wet dog in the air absolutely disgusting and ruined the meal.

Visited with the boss for a quick lunch last week. Menu showed new items one of which was a battered burger. Well colour me intrigued, I'm from Lanarkshire so a fried burger, I'm in. Unsure what to expect I was pleasantly surprised, it was ok and filled a lunch shaped hole. Don't recall what the boss has, some form of curry, but I don't recall her moanin, so result. Well done, cooks & servers.

Been in the electric bar a few times per year for work lunches. We will go back. The standard is consistent.

Staff are great. Cocktails are a hit or miss. Mojito served in a pint glass so was just 75% soda and tasted as such. Food was poor. Had the zinger burger and the chicken fillet is just an extremely thin frozen fillet you can pick up at the cash and carry, iceland/farmfoods which was disappointing. Not a fan of places that charge you for the burger then look for another £3-£4 to add fries. Won’t be back for food but would head in for drinks again.

6 of us meet here frequently because the food is so good and reasonably priced. We were here tonight for our Christmas get together. Food didn’t disappoint…everyone enjoyed it. Until we were told that they needed the table back…just after we had ordered another order of drinks…nothing on the booking confirmation stating when the table was needed or anything said when we first ordered. Put a bit of a damper on the evening because it was cut short!

Service haphazard and shambolic! Very loud in the place. Food was OK, although they got the order wrong, one person waiting for food and everyone nearly finished. Won't be back.

The food was amazing. For allergies, watch what you are ordering (see my part on dietary requirements). The staff were wonderful & went out their way to make sure everything was as perfect as it could be.

Had the stake pie it was lovely with nice large chunks of beef very filling.

The food is absolutely banging here. The macaroni cheese & the curry are outstanding. Typical pub lunch food. The staff: one male not sure his name was outstanding! Anyways so attentive, always in the same mood, great banter and clearly enjoys his job. Sadly we weren’t served by him today. We were served by a poor waitress. This isn’t my first encounter with her so not a one off review . She is dour faced and so uninterested. As a customer facing role she really needs to master people skills. Don’t let her tarnish this amazing food and drinks and other incredible staff !

Not so much a bar anymore, more of an eatery. Food, staff & service are excellent, but prices are high compared to elsewhere selling similar. Great setup for going for a meal. It's not so good for popping in just for drinks anymore. Chinese chicken curry is always my fave in here, but the last couple of times, it was not as nice, strangely sweet?🤔 Chicken pakora wrap was nice.

The restaurant was far too busy on the bank holiday and too many people coming in for food than they could handle, we were sat and waited 25 minutes had to ask someone for drinks, no one had explained the silly cube concept too, the food was certainly over priced, the chicken zinger burger didn't taste fresh, more processed than anything else. The drinks were quite good nice bubblegum cocktail, I would come back for drinks but give food a miss. Either need more staff to cope with demand or not take as many bookings.

The meal was lovely ,party of four and everyone enjoyed the food and the young lad serving was full of banter will definitely be back and would recommend.

Superb....second time going here...menu not too big but still plenty to choose from, staff amazing can't do enough for you, food fresh hot and very tasty. Can't fault it at all would recommend great prices great staff great food will be back.

Steak club night.. had no steaks left..no salads left..ran out of the beer we had ordered..what a miserable evening..6 friends have been going for years now..for monthly catch up..etc..we are now looking elsewhere for our monthly gathering..

Had a fantastic business lunch here and found the staff and the food to be out of this world, fantastic atmosphere and a great place to have a good meal and a great catch up with friends.

Great food, great staff, cocktails not as strong as I like , but would go back for the food

The food was very nice and the service was very good. However I ordered a burger witch came with chips that I did not order and was charged for when we complained about this as I had not asked for chips with the meal but had enquired as to if chips do come with the burger I was told they came with chips. The manger spoke to my freind and told her to read the menu as it states that chips do not come with the burger my freind felt as though she was told she was blind so i found a menu and read all of it also got a waitress to read it and she could not find it saying that either. no where did it say burgers do not come with chips ill give him this it didnt say they did come with them either however when i actually ordered i did not ask for them. Check you attitude and your prescription for ya glass arse. The manager attitude was awful felt like talking to a child who had to be right. I probably won't got back I will add again that the chief food was delicious and the service excellent but the mangers attitude ruined a loved meal 😤.

Service was very slow only 2 waitresses on. The food was however amazing had the Salmon was so good. Will go again as there is a great menu, but not around December . They also do wonderful mock tails for us drivers
