Pleasant atmosphere, but when you see how to get to the kitchen you go through the WC ! Small portions, high prices ! Extremely friendly staff

Service was great. Lovely waitresses - very polite and efficient. Food was really tasty and decent portions. Nice intimate place. Only slight odd thing was that the fire alarm kept on going off - maybe 3 or 4 times in the night I was there - assume some technical issue that will be sorted. Otherwise was really nice.

Much like their other branches, Chucs Mayfair is a beautifully decorated, nautical-themed brasserie, with an enduring and appealing Italian menu. The service was very friendly and food delicious. We particularly enjoyed the risotto, nduja and buratta pizza and zucchini fritti. The cocktails which we started with were also well executed. Overall it’s also fairly reasonably priced for Mayfair.

Staff should be fired we came in and asked for a table with no one in there and no bookings in the system she did not let us in she mutters some very inappropriate words and we left I would never come back again

Great neighborhood. Lovely Italian restaurant with good terrace. Service not perfect as servings are not always as ordered. They always ask if you made reservation even if all tables are empty! Obviously apologies are brought forward however too late. Food is tasty and genuine Ligurian Italian.

Lovely breakfast. I went on a Saturday morning for breakfast. Staff were lovely, friendly and very pleasant. Good service. Attentive yet allowed you to eat and take your time. The upstairs area is small and tables quite tightly spaced but it had a great vibe and cool atmosphere. Upmarket. I liked the elegant but minimal wooden decor. Fitted the Mayfair area perfectly! Simple breakfast menu of eggs, granola, porridge, juices and more. I had the black americano and egg white omelette with mushrooms and spinach. You can choose what you want in the omelette. I couldn't fault it. Coffee was nice as was the omelette. Both were freshly made and well presented. It wasn't cheap but this was my Saturday treat. They serve breakfast on Saturday till around 11:30 I believe and then brunch after that. Would recommend booking as they got busier after.

Just bad food to be honest, I got the chicken Milanese (if we can call it that) it was flavorless, no seasoning whatsoever and very dry. It was like eating cardboard.

This was a rather underwhelming experience. The greeting on arrival was slow and unenthusiastic. Service was extremely inattentive and lacklustre. My guest ordered lamb, he was not asked how he wanted it cooked - it arrived almost raw. Fish of the day was very small . Burger was the best choice, I asked waitress for mayonnaise- it never arrived. Wine was overpriced.

Service was very nice. Food was OK, but predictably overpriced. Chopped cobb salad was only about 20% cobb, but pretty nice as it should be for £14 (starter). His chicken milanese was hefty and good, my Chuc burger pretty average. Silly money for what we had, but to be expected at this location. Nice to watch the rich oafs park their hideous Rolls on the pedestrian crossing and enter the club opposite without a care in the world.

Stopped here for brunch, service was lovely however club sandwich was a little cold hence why 4/5. Everything else was great and staff attentive. It is one of the first weeks back so I guess the restaurants are just finding their way back to perfect service again. would recommend

Nice selection of Italian wines including reasonably priced ones from Piedmont, the Abruzzo and Le Marche as well as famous names at vast prices too. Full of Mayfair regulars mostly in their 20’s and 30’s. Chic, casual with good service.

We went here for the bottomless brunch and the service was frankly quite rude. The waitresses were very short and curt with us. We had ordered bottomless and they were frugal with their glasses, you had to wait a good 20 minutes between ordering your...

En nuestro reciente viaje a Londres, el día de San Valentín, tuve una cena increíble en Chucs en Mayfair con mi pareja.

29 para admitir un plato grande de risotto muy al dente que venía con una langostina escuálida y en gran parte no comestible como guarnición. No está bien. El pollo milanés estaba seco y sobre salado. La ensalada era una abominación, por 5 espero más que algo parecido a una ensalada de bolsa de un supermercado, no había tomate y casi nada de aceite de oliva, solo unas cuantas hojas de cohete y alguna pequeña joya. La pasta de langosta era mejor, pero la sopa era demasiado salada. El cordero estaba bien, pero de nuevo no vale la pena el dinero. El vino era bueno. Los cargos de mesa y de servicio parecen excesivos para un restaurante tan pequeño, aunque la camarera era servicial. El menú atrae a favoritos y grapas, pero la realidad es muy decepcionante. Este lugar solicita a los precios del menú que coincidan con los alquileres de Mayfair, pero sin ofrecer la calidad excepcional que suele asociarse con dicha ubicación. No volveré.

Cenamos aquí después de escuchar buenas críticas. La comida es muy cara. . . Pasta con queso para 21? ! El servicio es terrible considerando que hay casi un miembro del personal por mesa. Esperamos mucho tiempo para nuestras bebidas, la mesa junto a nosotros nunca recibió las suyas. Para un lugar con 7 mesas, usted pensaría que el servicio sería de primera clase. ¡Definitivamente no!

Chucs is one of the best Italian restaurants in Mayfair and London. The food is always impeccable, the director extremely professional and the quality of very high standard, without mentioning the setting which is remarkably Italian - if you feel like eating in a boat - then that's where you go. It's fabulous and I highly recommend it.

No necesariamente para una visita improvisada debido a su tamaño, sino para reservar una mesa interior o incluso al aire libre para disfrutar de las diversas golosinas culinarias y el generoso servicio. Sí, este lugar no es para un almuerzo barato, pero hay muchas opciones más baratas cerca si eso es lo que quieres. Si quieres un buen almuerzo italiano, esto funcionará perfectamente. No te olvides de pedir un café con un dai-dai acompañante (mini chocolate para los no iniciados).

We stopped here for a drink before going to dinner. The decor was nice and the service good. We just had drinks at the bar but they were nice and there was a good selection.

Je suis allé dîner 2 fois dans ce restaurant. La décoration typiquement italienne, le dress code des serveurs, le petit bar, le petit nombre de tables (réserver de préférence !) donne une ambiance unique. La nourriture est excellente, je recommande les bigoli cacio et pepe maison et la piccata milanaise. Leurs « frites » maison sont excellentes et très légères. Les prix des plats sont élevés mais dans la norme pour le quartier.

Very small restaurant, very elegantly appointed. Lovely decor. First rate staff, who are attentive, polite cheerful and all-round lovely folk. Fantastic pasta with bottarga fantastic, fried calamari and courgettes. Great salmon tartare. A lovely vermentino, great tomato salad, and great coffee.

Así que mi primo que estaba de visita desde Texas y quería tener un verdadero chicas tarde especial, así que decidimos cenar en Harrods, y en Chucs que debe ser mi peor recogiendo una decisión de restaurante.

Mi marido y yo elegimos este lugar, esperamos disfrutar de algunas de las opciones de comida en Harrod's, pero creo que podría haber hecho mejor con cualquiera de los restaurantes en el comedor. Chuc de tenía una iluminación muy brillante y en general el ambiente (que de un asador) no coincide con la comida que servían (unión delicada). Pulpo de mi marido estaba bien, pero mi aperitivo y la entrada no estaban. El risotto fue una nota, amarillo y muy al final. El cangrejo raviolo era encima de queso que tenía un penetrante sabor. Aparte de eso, era muy caro para lo que era. Si estás en el Harrod's, sugiero un diferente lugar del comedor. Tienes mucho para elegir.

OK so Mayfair was never going to be cheap, but I can't help feeling ripped off after my lunch at Chucs. The cheapest wine is £36 a bottle, most is a lot more than that. My crab starter was £26, relatively unremarkable and would have benefitted from the addition of some of the brown meat to make it tastier. With quinoa and avocado it also needed some crunch of another texture, such as toast/melba toast to eat it with. Speaking of bread, this was £4 for a cover charge and came minus oil/vinegar or butter. My main of lamb had not had the fat rendered at all, so this part was inedible, albeit the meat nicely pink. I can cook this better myself at home. It came with about 20g of courgette in slivers, and we had ordered two portions of the zucchini fritti which arrived when we had almost all finished. My friend who had the prawn main didn't particularly rate it either.

Visited with my girlfriend on a Saturday night. The restaurant itself is very small but the decor is great, and so is the food (would strongly suggest the bolognese!). Un ritmo muy pequeño al final de la calle de Dover, es imprescindible reservar si quieres comer. . Servicio agradable, ambiente super acogedor, buena comida. . Perfecto para un almuerzo rápido en Mayfair.

Es un local pequeño y agradable, de asientos muy cómodos y música suave. La carta es muy corta, muy 'italiana de nivel' (no es una pizzería), de buena cocina italiana de verdad. Todo estaba bueno, el servicio muy profesional, y el precio razonable para la zona y la calidad. Solo hay vinos italianos buenos, luego caros. Pero los compensa el precio moderado de la buena cocina italiana. Ideal para una cena distendida, acompañada de una buena conversación.

Rather cramped place with too many tables. We went for breakfast. Had scrambled eggs and mushroom and another plate of scrambled eggs with smiled salmon. Portions were on the small side. Each plate comes with 2 tiny pieces of rye or brown bread and if you wanted extra, you're charged £2 for another 2 tiny slices. The only thing we would come back for was the coffee. The latte and double expresso we had were really good.

Quarters are a bit tight -- but the food was very good, menu quite varied, service excellent. It borders on business casual -- and has a nice variety of salads, pastas, fish, and beef. If you want good variety and quality dining -- in a bit of a maritime feel -- this is the place in London. Will definitely visit again!

ordered two coffees and they charged us service cover charge of £2.00 for each coffee so our total bill for two coffees was £10.00!They never highlighted this until we got the bill - I'm sure its probably in their T&C's in somewhere.Avoid at all costs

Loved my visit to the Dover location of Chuc's. Delivered fast - but not rushed - the food is excellent- the plating pretty. Recommended to reserve your seating!!Great for small groups and parties.The staff is so personable that I hope you go at a time that isn't so busy you can talk to them. Great great great!!

Came here with a friend, i actually had other place in mind but i said OK to his suggestion. And believe me when i say that was the best choice i've made in very long time!! The atmosphere was very cosy and the staff were extremely friendly. We started with shared pizza with truffle and we liked it. Then for the main course we had a dish called Parmigiana, i really can't describe how beautiful this dish was! It was made with LOVE! I wish if i had more space, i would order another one. Highly recommended

Have been here with a colleague on a business trip. Being Italian it was a bit strange to go for an Italian restaurant but we didn't want to think about understanding a foreign menu.The food was just average, nothing to talk about, but the service was really nice. Andrea, our waiter, an Italian guy, was very attentive and professional, not only with us (as we could share the same mother tongue) but also to other tables!

Two of us went to this restaurant on a mid week night.It is very small- three tables outside and six inside.If you're making a deal or want to have an intimate conversation, it's impossible because the tables are rammed right against each other. We had a table of four next to us who were competing for the most obnoxious behaviour. Constant texting and [phone calls, The prices on the wine list were abusive- I think the cheapest bottle of red was 45! We went instead for what were the most...

We loved this place, the manager was very friendly, and the Italian barman had only just arrived recently to London, but was loving it, and it showed ! It is small, but delicately done, with every inch carefully crafted. The food was wonderful, we felt very relaxed, and it was as though we were in Italy, rather than in the middle of a busy London. We came by it by chance, and that is often the best way, and felt immediately at home, and looking forward to going back soon...well worth a visit.

This is the first time we have been able to find a table in this popular grill. We walk past al the time and there is never availability. The food is good quality, with a interesting menu (try the cobb salad). I would also recommend the pasta which is the best I had had in London for ages. The wine selection is unusual, with a very good selection of Italian wines.

Atmosphere not unlike Harry's Bar in Venice. Very stylish little restaurant, a proper bar area, limited choice but very strong in what is available. Some of the best pastor I've tried in London. Very nice fish and meat, and the practice of serving radishes over ice should be strongly encouraged! The red prawns are one of the best dishes anywhere in London.Service is fantastic, exactly what you would expect in any first rate International Italian establishment. The trip to the loo is interesting, as it's designed like a galley loo on a boat. Strongly recommend, that you are in the middle of Mayfair, and it is priced accordingly – – presumably to reflect their outrageous lease costs……Very very well put together wine list. The markup on the higher end wines is low, and it is designed to encourage you to drink well. This is to be applauded.

....Chucs is a delight visually and orally. The tiny, beautifully designed room is cosy but elegant and though the tables are small one doesn't feel cramped, but just right to see everything going on and yet be comfortably intimate. Without gaggles of customers clamouring for attention, the staff can busy about looking out for everything and everybody, with a swift kitchen producing Italian classics with superb ingredients and without fuss. A darling of a restaurant, but difficult to get in because of all the above!

I'm eating out regularly in Mayfair. It was first time for my colleague and me. We are both less than 400 yards away. We're not going back. Burrata was good. Zucchini fritto too mushy - they should go to Daphne's to see how it's done, calamari fritti had too much bland not fresh batter, aioli was just basic mayo. Halibut over cooked, clams around it cold - clearly cooked sometime in the morning. Chocolate ice cream delicious. Espresso served several minutes before dessert so cold if you want to drink it after your dessert. No wine and £150! Should be £80.

Delicious classic Italian tomato spaghetti pasta and many more dishes of the Italian tradition. Cant miss it. Way to go Lucio!

Great atmosphere and warm service in a quiet, cosy place in the centre of London. A place to adopt for get togethers, with a high standard of service.

Chucs never disappoint. It has been top class always. Firstly, the food. Simple dishes, that's all it matters. Why? Because the ingredients have been so fresh and prepared with care even the simplest cherry tomatoes (side dish) makes me drool whenever I think of it. I thought the portion would be small-ish given its in Mayfair, but how wrong could I be. The rib-eye is so generous that it fill me up. Pizza is again out of the world too. So are their pastas. As for dessert, their Afogato blown me away. Coffee, Chucs have superb coffee imported from Italy with rich aroma, definitely a try even if you just fancy having coffees in day time. Ambience, the restaurant is so tastefully presented it is so warm once I stepped in. The Italian staff are extremely friendly and go the extra mile. Quentino and his team has been an absolute gem by making my dining experience more enjoyable. The restaurant sits on 16 people!Wine, superb wine list especially the Italians. I must confess I am more of a French wine drinker and not know much about Italian wine. When I asked for help in choosing the wine, the staff pick a superb bottle for me at a very reasonable price - they didn't go with the pricing. This I highly appreciate as it shows that they care about the value and my experience as opposed to making money our of it. All in all, my favourite in Mayfair, especially it is only 5 minutes walk from my office. Strongly reconmended.

This cute little place serves great food and has really nice outside seating, the food is fresh and has lovely white table linen, the service is 5* , it's not cheap but a perfect place for lunch and to sit and watch the world go by.

Had dinner there and I felt that the food was over flavoured and over oiled. It tastes good on the first bite but after that one feels overwhelmingly nauseous. The wine list is limited and unless you are willing to pay over £150 for a decent bottle you will be drinking Italian table wine! The restaurant is small which didn't put me off but I was pretty keen on getting out as swiftly as possible.

The restaurant is really tiny ,with some small tables outside,but what is nice about it is that it takes you straight to Italy and to the heart of the Mediterranean although you are in the heart of Mayfair.What I Iiked about the food is the simplicity so you can taste each ingredient separately and this is what Italian food is all about.The service was great, and the waiters are friendly,we asked to be moved outside after lunch to have our coffee and they were more than happy to accommodate us.The menu is simply but rich at the same time with some special dishes of the day .

We were in London for a Babymoon....and on our last night were wandering the area looking for dinner around 9 pm. We happened upon Chucs and it looked lovely....the wait staff let us sit as a party of 2 outside at a table for 4. The inside restaurant is very small but cleverly decorated in an italian/nautical manner. The wait staff was perfectly attentive and helpful. The food came out at the perfect cadence and was delicious...the wine..although French and pricey...was terrific....The little extra 'treats' from the chef were a joy....and the prices were reasonable (especially when compared to the amounts we spent for siteseeing attractions during the day!). There was decent people watching on the quiet street (fancy car watching actually) and the HIX hotel across the street. We had dinner for 2...one drink each....no salad/appetizer...but did have coffee/dessert and the total was $150 USD. We had a wonderful experience and highly reccommend!

After some serious shopping at Dover Street Market, and a serious overdose of Scottish food, we were in need of some pasta. We walked further down the road from the 'market' and stumbled upon Chucs. The food is a little on the expensive side, but the quality of the pasta is beautiful. The three of us had a lobster-pasta each, plus starters and 2 glasses of wine. The meal went down very well. The waiter was very helpful, patient and efficient. Although it is a small shop, we loved the cosy atmosphere and "Italian-ness".

Classic Italian fair at top prices served in a very pleasant if not very small space. You could be forgiven once inside for thinking you are in Venice ! A lovely bar , a few tables , simple tasty food and excellent cocktails make for an ideal lunch. The crowd is smart and perhaps there to be seen! There are a few tables outside which tend to go 1st when the sun shines, booking essential at all times.
