This must be one of the best chip shops in Loughborough, He doesn't mind going out of his way to please you, The quality is first class, I would definitely recommend it the kebabs, They are beautiful, I always cooked the fish as you walk in to order can't fault the plaice,

He treats the workers so bad. When I first started working there I had multiple staff give me a warning about how the manager can "be". As soon as i started working I could see what they meant. He doesn't talk to you like a normal person but instead points at you and shouts. Little mistakes that could easily be fixed he shouts Infront of the customers which makes them very uncomfortable. I didn't work there for long but i have never felt so uncomfortable in my life. 3 other people quit the same time i did because of this as well. All the staff their are young and is probs their first job but yet he stil expects us to understand everything from the first shift.

September 15th 2024 I normally go there with my friends Boss changed his staff very quickly Food was not properly cooked I bought pizza as well , pizza base were smelling it was not good, it seems like Chef cooked old food the sausage was very hard seems 2-3 days old One of the staff member met me then he talked me his owner really angry on staff always even he don't have sense how to talk with staff and he didn't gave wages then he kicked out staff immediately without telling them or giving notice ,I felt very bad for guy he shouldn't this with staff sometimes feels staff not happy from him

Food was alright but the boss seemed very aggressive towards the staff. Hope it improves next time I go in.

The staff here are really nice and friendly. The service is great and the food is delicious. Plenty of chips and the fish was huge.

Ordered food for 24 people for a works party. All the food was ordered off of the menu so were lots of different orders. Food was delivered on time and piping hot and everybody commented on how delicious the food was. We asked for enough chips for 20 people but the amount would have easily fed 30. Christo communicated throughout the process and his wife delivered the food to our offices and was really lovely and helpful. Cannon recommend these guys enough if you want a catering job provided for an event.

Went here after shopping. We ordered 2 kebabs. One mixed meat and salad and one with Donna meat and lettuce and onion. We had to wait 20 minutes for our food and then I ended up with Donna meat lettuce and cucumber. I am allergic to cucumber so ended up throwing it in the bin. The staff are absolutely atrocious. Please use some where else. They do not deserve your custom. £4.90 in my bin. Thanks for nothing.

Out for a fish, chips and mushy peas this evening and I will not be going back. The one positive was the chips but the fish was not good. The only taste was of strong oil that made gave me nausea. Sorry but as a first time customer this was very disappointing.

Can only speak for haddock and chips and I'm sure everything else would be as good. The fish is as good and fresh as it get with batter and chips to match. Fried while you wait so not been standing in a hot cabinet for ages. Staff are always friendly.

great service by the young girl in the navy shirt at the cash register today as is always the case, not as pleased to see the owners possibly laughing at customers...

Although the place had been taken over, the quality of the food is still the best around. The fish is still as fresh as it was before.

Normally go here on a Thursday after school went today and I will not be returning. The staff are miserable everything is to much of an effort my partner stopped going ages ago due to this and now me too.

this is our regular chip shop and i would just like to say normally they are spot on...tonight however they were awful...they were very soggy wrapped that tight they had all stuck to the paper..i had few then the rest went into the bin...prob time to try another ship shop

We’ve lived in the local area for years and have tried all of the chip shops. This is by far the best. The fish is cooked to order and always tasty and not too fatty. Portions are enormous. We usually have the mini fish and chips. The staff are friendly and helpful.

I have been here several times and never disappointed. Staff are really friendly and efficient, chips are delicious. Would recommend

chips taste stale, nothing ever cooked ready, really poor for a chippy and the delivery is poor too, wouldn't go more than a mile or 2 for a £25 order??

Always hot and freshly cooked the fish was amazing plenty of choices and they also deliver friendly staff nothing to much trouble would definitely recommend .

La comida aquí es siempre recién preparado, el personal es agradable y amable a sus clientes. Hemos venido aquí cada semana, normalmente una oferta de comida - que son una gran relación calidad-precio. Su pescado es suculento, y sus fichas son sin duda la mejor de la zona. Si tienes hambre y quieres llevar, entonces sólo hay un lugar a donde ir, en mi opinión.

Llegamos para la cena los viernes por la noche, me dijeron que estaban esperando para patatas fritas, las patatas fritas era remover la frier circular que se doren las patatas fritas en un acantilado de la rosada por dentro pero eran!! Más caro que los otros locales y la actitud de "fish and chips" personal era asqueroso!! Fue un "si no te gusta, no volveré" actitud!!

No, not our nearest chippy, in fact we pass three others to get to Christo's. The best in Loughborough in our family's opinion. Their meal deals are excellent value, and their food is always fresh and delicious. A high standard every time. Highly recommended.

Stopped in when doing some shopping at Morrisons and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. Chip portions were huge and four of us were unable to finish two of them. Fish was also large. Food was nicely cooked and very tasty. Exceptionally good value for money. A real hidden gem.
