Chopstix Noodle Bar in Kensington and Chelsea

We found this noodle bar stop. It is a typical eat on the go noodle bar. Dish was appetizing and enjoyed the quality of the sweet and sour chicken. Noodles were filling and additional sides were plentiful. I also enjoyed the service provided, always with a smile and warm welcome. I highly recommend this place for a quick stop before moving onward to the museums.

Very disappointed, 4 pieces of chicken and 5 prawns and a bit of noodles is counted as 2 toppings box… box was half bull… and even I was waiting for 15 min because there was only one person serving.after writing a complaint no outcome… such a disappointment

On 08/09/23, I made an order that never arrived. I waited over 2hours before the app cancelled it. I had to fight like hell to get my money back and no gesture of goodwill was offered. This is beyond unacceptable! I will be making a report to trading standards.

No vayáis. Los noodles están mal cocidos, no tienen casi verdura y saben a goma de borrar. No vale la pena. Las patatas asadas y los mini rollitos de primavera son pasables, pero aún así no lo recomiendo nada…

The staff seem completely disinterested in their jobs. Very rude and inhuman asking for extra toppings in small bag for my kid. 2years old and being surprised that she can’t give it to on separate bag it’s has to be on my box I said that I don’t want it to mix with my other toppings coz it’s for the child and she reply if you want extra toppings it’s has to be in the box if not I can’t sell it to you and when I asked for manager she ignored me by saying there is no manager and walking a way when her colleague comes to me to finish the rudeness of her colleague by telling they can’t give me the extra toppings and her colleague was nice to me which is completely wrong as she was serving other customer and she didn’t even see her, how she can witnessing on something that she didn’t even see or pretend that she heard what we Were talking , and when I said I don’t want the food she said ok and started to put whatever in box in bain-marie again to give for other customers wow so I maybe eat from someone else box when he didn’t want it any?! The food was delivered quick. It was ok, had some flavour. The pots it came in were very good and you can recycle them and use them for something else like a packed lunch

My friend nearly choked on something the chef said was accidentally put in there from the green beans. The staff blatantly ignored her when she tried to report it and even the chef just gave a short explanation as to what it was and basically ran away. They all avoided confrontation and this hugely disappointed us as it was a serious matter.

El personal obviamente estaba ocupado en el museo sacando tiempo y ella seguía explicando pacientemente cómo funcionaban las cajas y qué no tenía carne. Recomendado.

So the service was good, the servers told me about the spicyness of the food. The toppings were tasty. BUT, the noodles were cold and bland, they came with barely any sauce and wasn’t very tasty. Regularmente visito Chopstick: me encanta la comida, es excelente, pero el personal es increíblemente grosero, desatento y simplemente no es útil. La última vez que visité una de las camareras me gritó y otro cliente agresivamente por un simple malentendido de orden. He estado preocupado volviendo últimamente ya que sucedió dos veces! El personal realmente necesita capacitación sobre cómo brindar un buen servicio a los clientes y aprender a interactuar con las personas de manera decente.

Después de un viaje por el museo con mi hija, necesitábamos un bocado rápido en lugar de una gran experiencia de almuerzo y esto era justo lo que buscaba. Tenía una caja grande de 2 tipos de pollo con fideos, pero una caja más pequeña hubiera satisfecho nuestras necesidades de almuerzo ligero. La decoración es básica, pero para 2 comidas con 2 bebidas por aproximadamente 16 no puedes quejarte.

Dreadful encounter with this establishment. As it was relatively empty I thought I would try the place out. Monday lunch time in South Ken is generally very popular. However, not this place and no wonder! The staff's attitude is enough to make milk curdle. No welcome, just a roll of the eyes as if my presence was interrupting their day. When I enquired about the spiciness of their salt & pepper chicken I was given a sarcastic answer. I asked if I could try it, as I was keen to eat-in and try the venue out. I was told uncategoricaly NO! When I conveyed my disapproval of such blatant customer neglect, they really couldn't have cared less. So - zero star rating. Don’t bother PLEASE. Keep on walking and try one of the many other friendly local Oriental eateries. This is clearly a franchise that doesn't give a damn.

Good food, but Very Very bad service. One of the waitress was extremely unpleasant and rude, the worst contact of all my life. I ate with my two kids and my wife being very pissed off.

I went with a friend and we so enjoyed the delicious food - lots of options to choose from. We will go again.

Teníamos hambre después del museo y este aspecto atractivo para un bocado, pero fue más allá de horrible. Puedes pedir una "caja" con arroz o fideos lo mein, luego agregar uno de tres tipos de pollo con salsa. Básicamente no había pollo en el pollo, sólo fuese empapados. Los fideos que tuvo un sabor desagradable y. Los rollos de primavera de verduras diminuto estaban calientes y crujientes, pero no contenía verduras! No estoy seguro de que mis adolescentes hambrientos tienen comida he perdido antes, pero tomó un par picaduras tanto antes de tirar todo.

Grabbed a kids meal - noodles, sweet & sour chicken, spring roll and a bottle of water. The bottle of water was the best bit! My 7 year old who loves Chinese took one mouthful and just couldn’t stomach the rest. I’m afraid I had to agree. It’s very cheap but I still wouldn’t touch it with a barge pole !

Food just about lukewarm. They say 100% chicken, but it was reconstituted and tasteless. Avoid if at all possible.

I purchased a quick meal from this establishment and couldn't eat it. Apart from salt and pepper, there was virtually no flavour and the smooth chunks of chicken looked and tasted entirely unnatural. I couldn't eat it and after one mouthful asked for my money back. This was refused by the staff. I then wrote to the company to complain and after submitting an accurate report on my experience, was promised my money back. The refund was never received. Avoid this company.

We were actually looking for another lunch place on our museum day but that was too busy and time was of essence. So we went to Chopstix instead and got what we needed. The food is not too delicious, but not bad either and whatever you make of it, at least it is fast. Basically it is just the same noodles and chicken you can choose in variety of different sauces. Portions are sufficiently large. There was no beer though, that would have been nice. Not sure if I would go again, but if you are both hungry and in hurry this place will get you through.

The only reason I came to try this place was because I wanted some cheap Chinese food in South Ken, but it wasn't worth the amount I spent here. The price was expensive for poor quality, small quantity food. I had some noodles and I think it was salt and pepper chicken, whilst my boyfriend had fried rice and sweet and sour chicken. Before ordering, the noodles looked amazing but truth was, they were bland and very dry. The chicken's meat was also very dry, making my meal very hard to consume a there was no sauce. In regards to my boyfriend's meal, his fried rice was bland, though the sauce from the sweet and sour chicken made it slightly more bearable. Somehow, the s&s; chicken's meat was still dry even though it came with sauce, probably indicating it was overcooked, wasn't fresh, and had been sitting there for a while only being kept warm by the lights under which the food all sat.

Not the most exciting or thrilling place to eat Chinese food cooked by white people. The staff sunny disposition was the best thing about this place. I only came in here as a rival old school Chinese place has a 1 rating for hygiene compared to 5 for chopstix. I didn't want food poisoning.

Went for a brief trip to the natural history museum and decided to goto the high street for some lunch.Limited selection available, so we decided on trying here.Was left feeling very satisfied after have my a large noodles. The noodles were great and the toppings delicious. I will definitely return in the future.Reasonable priced for the quantity and quality. Recommended.

We visited for lunch and the lady at the counter said our card didn't go through so we paid cash. However when we checked later we had paid both by cash and card. We kept calling the number listed but they never answered. It was not a pleasant experience as a tourist.

Looking for a quick fix of food before going to the museums for the afternoon. Craved a Chinese and went here. The prices were reasonable for the amount of food you get. I had a large box and I didn't realize how big the box would be. I couldn't finish it! I had the noodles which were delicious, and three types of chicken: sweet and sour, salt and pepper and caramel chicken. It all went surprisingly well together. All tasted great and didn't feel too greasy like it would a regular Chinese take out. Tasted fresh. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Would definitely come back for the price and the food.

In comparison to nearby locations charging £10+ to sit in for just a burger/wrap/sandwich, one noodle box is a whole meal; fills you up and keeps you going! I wouldn't make a regular visit to this place, but as a tourist it was absolutely fine. Staff friendly and helpful. Clean and bright shop. Places to sit and eat in. Small vegetarian choice. Halal. Chopsticks or forks. Fast service. Toilet.

This place is located behind South Kensington station. I just wanted a quick bite and the food looked appetising. It is a fast food joint. There are 3 box sizes to choose from with either one, two or three toppings. You choose between fried rice or noodles and a choice of around 12 toppings. I went for noodles with sweet and sour chicken and salt and pepper chicken. The noodles were dry and flavourless. Quality of noodles very bad too. The sweet and sour was acceptable but the salt and pepper chicken was way too spicy. It tasted more like chilli chicken than pepper. The servers don't smile and were very expeditive eventhough there was no queue.I was hungry but left most of the food as it was just awful. Will not come back again

Chopstix is located behind the South Kensington tube station, in a neighborhood with some charming stores and restaurants. We were looking to get take out to bring back to the flat we rented. This place looked trendy and we decided to give it a try. There are a few tables if you want to dine in- it's a fast food type place and appears to be primarily for takeout. The food looked good; we wish we enjoyed it more. The noodles were dry and lacked flavor. The sauces were unappetizing. We'd neither return nor recommend.

Staff was nice, the food was just really terrible! Good Chinese restaurants in London are very expensive, more expensive than Indian restaurants which are good. We landed in this place since it was getting late. Nothing we ordered was really good. No, I would not recommend even if you are on a budget and super hungry. We ate lunch here on a rainy day in London. Couldn't explore much due to the rain. Location was ideal. Walk out of station, turn right twice & there it is!A choice of either fried rice or noodles. And 9 chicken toppings. Try the sweet & sour if u want to be safe. There was also spring rolls & prawn crackers. You can eat in or take away. There are 3 sizes but i forgot the prices. The taste is acceptable but the halal factor was the plus point. Am posting this so other muslim travellers are aware & can drop by if needed.

Having walked by very often, I decided to give it a go due to nice looking decor. Very disappointing. Portion sizes were very small for the price and the actual taste of the food was very underwhelming despite looking decent. Furthermore the staff did not provide a pleasant experience at all. Will not be visiting again.

Si tratta di un noodle bar dove si sceglie il formato (small / medium/large) la base (riso o pasta) e a dipendenza del formato scelto 1, 2 o 3 accompagnamenti. Le porzioni sono abbondanti. il pollo caramellato e quello alla salsa Oyster mi è piaciuto molto, invece l'agrodolce, e al curry non cosi tanto ( ma è questione di gusti). Il cibo è fresco e buono, l'ambiente niente di che, i prezzi nella media. Tutto sommato una buona alternativa a altri fastfood.

If you want something really quick to fill up your stomach this is the one. We tried noodles and rice with sweet and sour chicken, caramel chicken, oyster sauce chicken and salt 'n' pepper chicken. Flavors were nothing special and especially the salt 'n' pepper chicken was completely tasteless and the oyster sauce chicken had no oyster sauce at all..... Anyway, the one thing you can think of when you are hungry is how to fill up your belly.

It's cheap, a good quantity - it's not really unique Chinese food as in it doesn't have a distinct taste, however it fills you up, and it's made with some cheap ingredients as you can definitely taste, but if you want some basic Chinese, come here, otherwise try Kokoro.

First the good news, service is quick & it is relatively cheap. Now for the rest of the news. The interior is brightly lit, tables & chairs laid out in a style reminiscent of 'On the Buses depot canteen 'but not as pleasant. The food choices are displayed on a counter & are dished out according to your desire with a topping or 2 . Standard fare of noodles, rice, chicken dishes in standard or large portions. The food is doled out into cardboard containers & put on a tray. You can grab a soft drink from the ' fridge & pick up your plastic cutlery or chopsticks as you pay. The food was greasy & not particularly hot. Delightful view out the rear window of a seedy looking basement flat.

A good place to eat if you like Chinese food and don't have much money. The facilities there are very basic but the food is ok. Almost like a canteen style where you go to the counter and point to the dish that you want. I think the cost was £5 for two choices. The food is put into a cardboard takeaway style box so you can either take it with you or sit at a table if you can find a vacant one - it's popular and gets very busy.

Very quick service. The food was average. For the price, the portions are good. You can only have egg fried rice or vegetable noodles with your chicken option. I had the BBQ chicken with rice, which was okay. Nothing amazing, but not bad. Tried some of the sweet and sour chicken too, which happened to be too sweet and possessed the colour of an unappealing blood-like red. I did have myself wondering whether the chicken was real meat... seemed to be processed.

Obviously I expected some cheap Chinese food when I went here. However, I was a little disappointed in the lack of flavor. The price was good but I've had quick service Chinese food at the mall that has been much better.

The food was pretty average, prices were okay but not necessarily cheap (£5.50 for a medium size, £6.00 for a large). The noodles didn't taste like anything, pretty much just a filler, but I like the caramel chicken.

Me and a colleague really desired a spring roll post presentation but little were we prepared for the vulgarity that lay before us. Initially the food looked appetising as an American Chinese style cuisine but after sapling the food we could not go on. The spring roll sprayed grease all over us, the rice was similar to uncle bens and the chicken was non existent behind the layers of batter. To top it all the off the filthy chef appeared from the the back room to restock whilst snorting over the vat of chicken.

Typical asian fast food that gives you loads of carbs and not much substance. Not very tasty, not ridiculously cheap. Which would be all right if it was in some city center area, but come on, South Kensington is so dense with places to eat of all budgets. And other places around are cheaper and tastier. Try Little Japan or the Oriental Canteen if on a budget. Or Comptoir if you can spend more.

Well there was something really bad with my luck that I ended up here with a friend - only if i had walked slightly further i would have found a Japanese restaurant with a bit more character . So there are a couple of options of food - i had the sweet and sour chicken with black bean chicken and noodles. I am not sure how freshly these are prepared but I will ignore that bit. All I can say is that on the evening of Friday 27th November 2015, my visit left a lot to be desired. I wasn't sure if it is acceptable company policy to staff to be eating behind the counters and walking around when they are munching on a bunch of spring rolls (and dropping crumbs everywhere). That is incredibly unprofessional. The toilet is also a smelly Warzone and more apt for being located in the Gaza strip. A tourist trap like yours deserves it's 'terrible' rating.
