I get the same thing from here and it's usually really good. I ordered it last night and the majority was inedible. The toppings and sides were fine but the noodles honestly tasted like cigarette ash. I genuinely feel like it was tampered with because it was a late order so I won't be getting food from here again. Such a disappointment...

I visit the Newcastle under lyne branch quite regularly. The service is amazing. Staff are so cheerful and friendly, I always enjoy coming, knowing the environment is just what I need after a stressful day!

Ordered from here the other day, was so exited because I haven't had chopstix in SO long and normally love it. Unfortunately, it gave my partner and I absolutely horrific food poisoning and I won't be ordering again. Unhappy is an understatement, my boyfriend has a heart condition and things like food poisoning and viruses etc really badly affect him and his body. The last thing he needed rn.

Amazing customer service. We went a couple of weeks ago and, the food was great and the manager was very generous to me and my sons - we promised to leave a good review!

I've been in this store and ordered online from this place too When I order online from here I order a meal called a Wok One you get alot of food and spring rolls and a can of pop too and I've have got this twice the food portions are really good and filling too Being in store the staff are really nice and friendly and the lay out of the store is great and you can see what food they is the prices are not even expensive and there is a staff member named Tara has helped me out multiple times when I have been there so if I could give an extra 5* for good communication too

What can I say, it’s OK nothing to write home about but that’s fine. The food is fine and for Chinese food it’s a little bland with no flavour really standing out. The set up is good where you order noodles or rice then add different toppings. The prices are pretty good but could do with maybe some desserts. What I do like is that it’s very clean and modern looking, staff are friendly and helpful. I approve 👍🏾

Where do I start… I was very disappointed from the moment I entered the restaurant, the place did look clean but it was the middle of the day so I understand costumes have being in and out all day however the restaurant just look in keeped, I order a small noodle box with Carmel drizzle chicken however when I saw the lady putting it in it was very watery, I then upgraded to a meal and got chicken balls however I wish I didn’t even bother… the carnal drizzle chicken had no flavour… chicken prices were dry and didn’t taste like what I’ve had before the middles were plain and no flavour and there was a puddle of water in the bottom of the box, the children ball were rock hard and dry. I have attend the Hanley restaurant on a number of occasions the staff are always friendly and helpful all food is fresh and very tasty I will not be attending again to this restaurant very disappointing if I didn’t already no the Hanley was very good I wouldn’t ever attend a restraint again

Great place to eat.The staff are very helpful and friendly explaining how the menu works. Food is delicious,good variety and big portions. Wasn’t that expensive very good value, as there multiple different prices ranges. Can’t wait to go again.

Staff were very accommodating, and the food was amazing

The food wasn't all that nice at all. I ordered the katsu pumpkin curry, with noodles, and a side of potatoes. I ended up leaving half of it. The pumpkin curry was boring and bland, the noodles were very oily, and the potatoes were quite unpleasant.

I ordered some food for delivery: the katsu curry, the noodles, a side of potatoes, a can of coke, and the free spring roles. The food was mostly disappointing such that I didn't finish it all. The katsu curry was borderline bland, the noodles were incredibly oily, while the potatoes were inedible. The can of coke was amusingly warmer than most of the food. The spring rolls were decent though.

Food delivered tasty and on time

Surprised at the lower rating this place has, we ordered a few different things and it was so delicious. The staff are so happy and friendly and the food was really tasty. We loved the spring rolls, and we can’t wait to visit again.

My deceased boyfriend’s favourite food was spring rolls. His second was a full english, with the eggs on the side, not touching the beans. It was a hot day today, and the sunshine makes me think of the time we spent together. Theres so much he didn’t see. I try to keep him alive but my recollection gets fuzzier every day. Memories exist in the context of the life of the remember, and so much has changed. He’s more of a concept and a feeling now than a person. He would’ve ordered the spring rolls.

Yeah this isn't fried rice, more like steamed with brown colouring added to it. Absolutely tasteless

The chicken bites had a slightly bitter taste to them. The caramel drizzle chicken was very soft and had a really unpleasant texture.

My food was extremely cold, and the portions was a joke they filled the contain half way with noodles and rice and gave 3 pieces of meat of and a lot of vegetables and that’s what I paid £32 for I’m actually livid and insulted

Freezer food, rice tasted microwaved and the sauces are inauthentic. It’s like if poundland tried to make Chinese food. I had the pumpkin Katsu and cauliflower, soggy and under fried.

The staff were really welcoming to me and my young son and the food was lovely, fast and cheap.

Brandon was great, he looked after us and made sure no vegetables touched my food as asked. He went out of his way to ensure we were happy with the food.

I had an early dinner around 5.30. First time in Chopstix, so I wasn't sure how it works but but a team member explained to me everything patiently. I didn't have lunch and i was pretty hungry, so I ordered a big box with and upgrade (10 spring rolls and a big drink). Spend less than £14 and was full. Sweat and sour chicken & curry chicken with noodles were decent. I will be back if I am around.

Staff are really friendly and helpful, first time I went they talked me through everything on how to order. I have been twice now and will definitely be back. If hot food item isn’t there they will cook it for you. Place is clean. Food is huge portions and great value :)

Decent food, I noticed the food on the hot places were in small quantities. My assumption is that they can cook less, more often which leads to better quality food. Egg fried rice was ok, chicken was superb. This was my first Chopstix visit, the staff member told me about the process and was very helpful throughout.

Terrible delivery service. I put my exact location and I still had to walk to like four different places to find the order. I didn’t end up receiving it and I cancelled. I’m not asking for a refund cause that will be so much work but next time find people who can actually communicate properly cause I wasn’t understanding 90% of what was being said so couldn’t retrieve my order

Such a lovely addition to Newcastle under Lyme s town centre. Delicious food,lovely and clean place and helpful staff. We ordered the family box and it was plenty for 2 adults and 3 children. Totally recommend!

i eat here with my friend each time i come to town. our stuff is always the stuff we ask for and i adore the taste :] overall would recommend buying from inside the place and dining in if possible. the tango is good and we always buy the bbq chicken + vegetable noodles for two (for a decent price). the small portion is very suitable for both of us.

Ordered a Too Good To Go from this place and when I went to pick it up they gave me 4 boxes of cold rice and pasta! No meat or veg. Disgusting and greedy! Hope you choke on the food you took home instead of giving it to people that pay for it with their hard earned money.

Biggest complaint is the quality of the food. I know Chopstix is more of a fast food cheaper alternative, but the quality of the fried rice was poor and ruined the meal. Fried rice is definitely microwaved or reheated pouch rice - definitely hasn't touched a wok or frying pan. I know it's good value for money, but I'd rather pay slightly more for better quality ingredients. The whole box is a fantastic idea but could do with being slightly dearer with the rice/noodles being higher quality. Everything else is good value - sweet and sour sauce could be stronger however. I ordered this as a delivery and didn't have any delivery issues, food was hot and packaged well

Worst experience…. Huge difference in Quantity of food and price. Never ever going back there again. Too medium egg fried rice with 2 portions of salt and pepper chicken hardly got 6 chicken pieces. Taste average. Felt shame to ask them what it is. Staff is good and ambience is very good.

salt and pepper potatoes were over cooked and all mushy.... disappointed with the chicken as there were very small pieces and very little in the way of taste (bland) and over all the meal was only look warm will not be ordering from here again

Mini spring rolls were nice but the chicken balls were hard, and clearly been cooked a long while back. My first order from here and probably the last. Disappointing!

Wrong Sauces with the food, kids not happy. Contacted Chopstix and spoke with a Welsh guy who said that because I ordered with Just Eat they can't send another driver with the correct food items as I hadn't ordered direct via Chopstix. But of a copout really considering if you ask me. I had 2 unhappy kids who were hungry and had already waited over half an hour for delivery.
