Just ate from here the food was really nice i can’t remember what i had lol but it all looked just as good i would recommend

I can't comment on the food as I stood waiting for 15mins. I was ignored the whole time. Not even a "hello" or "I'll be right with you" Both the woman on the front and the man in the back cooking giving me blank looks as well waited. I was the only one there, nobody in front of me. I won't bother next time.

I took the noodles box with three toppings. The taste was very good and the portion was fulfilling!!! Excellent service, will go again

The female manager here has a serious attitude problem, her colleagues apologised on her behalf when paying for my food, a disgrace to the company having someone as ill mannered as this working on their behalf

The staff is more interested in talking to customers than serving them, you can talk to the customer but not if someone is waiting in line. You have to stand in line for a very long time to even order, and once you order, you have to wait far too long to pay. The food was very average, it was my first and last visit here

The food did not taste as same as other chopstix or as how it should be rice wer half cooked patatoes wer salty. The service was not good atall no smile on the face of the employees looked like they where forced to stand there and guard the food

Very poor service, small servings and the food isn’t fresh. The vegetable chow mein was particularly bad.

The worst Chinese food you'll ever have..

Didn’t accept any of the offers they claim to do online or scan my app so declined me of my free spring rolls. When I asked for a reason why there response was simply “it’s welcome break.” SCAMMERS

The worst chopstix we have been to. Assistant was trying to rush us even though it was not busy. Ordered 2 medium boxes. Mix of rice and noodles. Boxes were almost full of the rice and noodles, toppings were very sparse. My wife had Thai curry, one very small spoonful of the curry. Salted chicken very few pieces. I had teriyaki beef and caramel chicken. Small helpings because there was no room on the top of the rice and noodles. One outlet that we will avoid on our caravan travels in the future!

Just came back home with a good portion of of food. Staff was lovely!

I wish I could give 0 stars . On the 16/06/2024 I drove all the way here just to eat at Chopstix and once here at 20:30 I noticed there was no noddles , only rice . I asked the lady if they would cook more noodle and she said “NO , come back another day as it is almost 21 and we are closing “.. so I left and I ordered my food elsewhere. Once at the table with the food from kfc I noticed a couple asking some noodles at Chopstix and I could not believe… I went and asked for some explanation and they said to me “we do not cook for only one person, as we saw more people in the queue we cooked “. The cashier guy started shouting to me to leave as they had no time to speak . This is absolutely disgusting and you will never see me again here . Horrible customer service !

Inedible , rubber noodles & mush for rice. Threw it all away. Awful.

What a pleasant surprise! On my way from Cambridge to Dover UK, I stopped here for some refreshments. I was searching for some shrimp and saw a big sign with Halal certified. Had 3 different toppings, and the food was pretty good. Decent portions.

Been for lunch , taken a large box , noodles was very good , rice was disappointed me , need to improve, veg rolls , and patoto was amazing, service was quick , price also little high due to may be close to airport. But still we enjoyed the meal .

Of all the chopstix I’ve been to in the country, this is by far the worst. From the service to the food that you get. I go to chopstix 2-3 times a week as it’s convenient and usually you know what you’re getting. However on my visit here today. There was a young lady who clearly doesn’t like her job, rude I asked for my food in a bag she just placed a bag on the side and walked off(when you go to kfc or McDonald’s and ask for takeaway they tend to do give it you in a take away bag lol). I got 2 large boxes, I’d say more like “2 half large”. The Noodles were slimy as a slug and over cooked, it was like going to grandmas as a kid and getting food that had been over boiled. I got “salt and pepper” potatoes that were just mushy potatoes no vegetables no seasoning at all in them. If chopstix read this, please sense somebody there to show the welcome break staff how to actually cook and serve the food how all your other outlets do.

Worst noodle ever..!! The only thing I could save was the spring rolls but doesn’t mean they were good

I ordered food online and the rice was undercooked and stiff it was like eating old rice that was warmed up and the salt and pepper chicken aswell as the katsu chicken looked burnt I have ordered from here and gone here in person before and the food was alright but this time was just barely edible

I have no idea why this place has that many negative comments. The staff are quick and very friendly. Portions sometimes could be bigger, apart from that I can recommend this place.

Waited for 4minutes whilst 3 members of staff had a chat. Decided KFC would be quicker.

Go to Chopstix quite often, I find it really depends on who is in the kitchen so very hit and miss, today though was the worst I’ve ever head the noodles tasted of nothing, and all but the caramel chicken were bland and flavourless

I went to get some dinner after work and the portion was in a little tiny box about three times smaller than when you order online. They didn’t serve half of the things from the menu. Ordered 4 boxes and donuts and asked for a bag but apparently they don’t do bags and had to hold them (boiling hot) to the car and carry my daughter at the same time. It was disappointing and overpriced.

Not the best Chinese food I've had but definitely not the worst. Good portions and good value for money.

So... the Lady who was preparing the food ...no wearing gloves..and in front of me was coughing on her hand and after she was moving the noodles with her hands... another thing..in the same time...I was asking for rice..she said it s on the way... when she came it was a spider or something..I couldn't see what was because she killed in a second lol. That's unprofessional..

Not preferred for Asians people

I would like to thank the employee who on the 4.2.2023, chose to give me a scowling look with no reply when I asked how come chopstix had closed early, the time was only 20.05, information on the Web states 21.00. They had already done a fair amount of clean down as this rather unhappy looking employee was already filling up the Ban Marie hot plates with fresh water for the next day service with all new containers in situ. Manners cost nothing, choosing to turn your back on a customer without answering is not professional in any way. Being a truck driver I frequent this service area often, I hope the same unpleasant employee serves me again so I can make a complaint when manager may be available. So lets do an update Had the fortunate chance to visit here once again 4 weeks later,, as I looked into the serving area the noodle tray which was nearly empty had a dark ring of dried noodles around the top layer, the rice was non existent, the variety of toppings were restrictive and not very appetising. On this occasion I decided to go to the outlet next door, while waiting for my order I witnessed the young server drag what noodles were left into a container which was barely a portion of mulch and serve to a customer, I then watched as the female member then proceeded to add more fresh noodles to the already dry baked on 20min tray and smile at the next customer, I happened to mention to the servers that this was not a very hygienic thing to do from a health and hygiene method but they did not seem to care jesturin a sarcastic smile. The standard in this establishment is of a very low and poor degree.

Quite underwhelming to be honest. It's not bad food. The salt n pepper wedges are delicious, but that's about it, everything else is average, decent halal place if that's what you're looking for. The staff are not excited to serve you which puts a downer on the atmosphere too.

Pretty rubbish service. My wife is gluten free and the server couldn't answer any questions about gluten free and didn't seem to care either. Don't bother going here if you've any allergies.

I really like SE Asian food and thought I try this out. I wish I had read reviews first. Staff was friendly but food was the worst - bland and gooey. I could hardly tell the difference between any of the sauces. Honestly, I wouldn’t eat it again if they were giving it away. How can this company get away with being so bad?

My box was very nice, great food although noodles were mabye a tiny bit dry, still highly reccomend

Never open too stated times change your times or at least stay til the stated times lazy people and they look half dead and miserable

If you want a rude lady checking her facebook timeline instead of actually caring about your order this is the perfect place for you. The food ain’t that great either.

Bad service very rude staff give you less in your portion we’re other chopsticks restaurants don’t do that

Looking at the other reviews ,thought I was doomed ,but really fancied Chinese ,so gave it a try ,tasty vegeboptions ,banging curry sauce ,lovely friendly service ,would use again

Ordered the £19.99 2 person meal. All four dishes were dry with thick, congealed sauce so with rice just dry. Teriyaki is usually sweet and mild, this was strong with chilli so I couldn't eat. The rice was obviously reheated, it was brown, didn't see any egg or veg. The spring rolls were quite nice but much pastry, hardly any filling. The prawn crackers were good. Would not order from here again unless desperate.

Awful, spat out the food and left it. I cannot describe how awful the noodles were, the green curry was so bland it could be described as chicken in green water. The spring rolls were pure bland flour no content, it was not edible

Thanks for wasting my time Chopstix! Wasted time and Petrol, drove all the way from Harlow after checking the closing time which was 10.00PM got here at 9.35PM to find the restaurant closed! The picture taken with this review was at 9.40PM. Never again will I come here. Hate the times stated as they are fake and this is the case with most restaurants! The rice was way overcooked. Absolutely no flavour to the food. And they don’t even have salt and pepper to serve. £10 for a meal is way overpriced for this quality of food..

So, drove here tonight after checking on the website an opening time. Me and the family had spent the day at Thorpe Park and had worked ourselves up to a cheeky ChopStix.. Got here at 7:29pm after seeing online they should be open till 9pm. Only to wall through the doors to find them closed. If you're not going to be open at the advertised times, just don't even bother being there. Thankfully the El Mexicana was open (as per hours) and it was absolutely delicious... Back to ChopStix.. I read the other reviews and it would appear this isn't the first time so I couldn't ignore it and put it down to a potential sickness ect ect.. Cowboys.

Don’t bother, got a medium with two toppings and got barely any topping. Very stingy, paid £7.49 for mostly rice!

Just been recently at Chopstix Birchanger. Really disappointed with noodles. No flavour at all. U can hardly taste any soya sauce or any other sauce on noodle. It was bit soggy too. Same with the veg fried rice. How can they call it fried rice when it’s soggy and lacked taste. I think they can fool someone who never tasted Chinese rice and noodles in their life. They really need some good cook with Chinese food knowledge. Only positive was the salt and pepper chicken and caramel drizzle chicken. It was crispy on outside and soft inside with good taste. Just giving 2 for the chicken. Regret going there. Should have stuck to KFC, Subway or Burger King cos at least recipe in the branded shops stays same across UK.

Website claimed to be open, upon arrival we were told it doesn't infact open until tomorrow.

The food was actually very delicious and a girl at the tills was very helpful and assured me that I'm not getting any piles of sugar in my food (I hate sweet stuff in a 'proper' lunch - it's food, not a dessert). However, the reason for only 3 stars is the fact that they open just whenever they like. I remember coming in for a food around midday and a guy just waved at us to go away - seriously? Or when it says it's open - it could be actually shut down. Learn how to manage simple stuff.

Never anymore ! Last three timed I've gone there, two they didn't have half of their products because they're closing soon (at 20:15 when they say they close at 22:00). Third time I asked for "Katsu Chicken" and sftter pay 50p more for that menu, they've only put me half of breaded chicken because they're running low. Save your money and time and look for any other food brand.

Paskudne. Kurczak ( ile to był kurczak) bez smaku,przeźroczyste mięso co świadczy o tym ,że świeże to to nie było. Frytki smakowały jakby od rana w oleju leżały. Drogo. A chciałem zjeść coś zdrowszego ale jednak trzeba było do KFC iść. Chociaż kubeł na śmieci się najadł. Nie pozdrawiam chopstix i nie Polecam . Omijać szerokim łukiem.

We did a short break to have some nibble. Subway Guys told us they don't do Halal food and signposted to Chopstix noodle bar and host T noodle bar confirmed that chicken is Halal. The noodles were freshly made and very tasty chicken toppings after eating we end up packing more boxes to eat at home. You made my day Chopstix noodle bar by preparing fresh noodles and Halal chicken. I will definitely come back soon.

Portions of meat are getting smaller, and for a box of noodles/rice with a few pieces of meat is not worth it

After having a lovely box of noodles from the Peterborough services, I decided to treat myself. Never again! The female member of staff at Stansted was as rude as you can imagine. She seemed intent on bring horrible and I ended up telling her to forget it and left. Terrible place

1. Customer service is OK, not bad but not good either. The member of the staff had a smattering of the English language but she was polite through the whole process of ordering. 2. The service was fairly unsatisfied. The member of the staff serving us was rushing to fill up the box with noodles and toppings splashing out half of it. The result, a measurable box, not attractive and not worth of the money. 3. Most important point, the food was tasteless and too liquidise as the syrup was overcoming the amount of solid food in there. Would not recommend it to anyone. Hope that helps :)

Only One vegetarian option topping which had sold out. Asked for extra rice instead and was flatly refused. Discusting service. More vegetarian options needed. Chicken options constantly being topped up. Avoid not worth the money.

This was the worst. The chicken was old, soft and spongy, no taste. Duck roll had no duck, there was something soggy in it. Bad bad bad food. As soon as I had half, had to run to the toilet. I don't normally complain about food, but this was disgusting.

Completely ignored me whilst I waited to be served. One member of staff even made eye contact with me while he was refilling the tub of noodles, then turned round and walked away. Pathetic service, no wonder there were no other customers there! Unfortunately I couldn't score them a Zero

Had sweet chili chicken and sweet and sour chicken. Sauces just feel like over sugared treacle. Chicken is basically scraps and feels far from real meat. Out of all the noodle fast food chains this is I'm afraid to say one I'll never re visit.

Expensive. Flavor profile quite gray and everything's bathing in sugary sauce. No sugar free soda options. Spicy chicken variant is not spicy at all. Otherwise good. Very polite and hard working front of shop staff.
