El servicio increíble, la comida increíble, la calidad y el orgullo en el restaurante está por encima y más allá. Ni yo ni mi señora podemos encontrar un solo defecto, ni una mala palabra que decir Incluso con 2 horas de viaje para visitar, con gusto volveremos solo para la comida / servicio. Lo recomendaría encarecidamente para una noche en familia.

We ordered steaks. My husband steak was overcooked and broccoli was cold. The staff were brilliant.

The food was yum! The steak was well cooked and the triple cooked chips were crunchy and fluffy. The pan fried sea bass was tasty. The cheesecake was great. The strawberry tart not so great it was just a whipped cream and the strawberries tasted like onion. Service was great.

Visited as a group of 12 for a Stag do. One starter was forgotten, but delivered after everyone else had finished. The main course arrived and one was cold and had to be returned. Two mains were not ordered and everyone else had finished their main course and the two missing mains were still not delivered. The staff were very pleasant , but there were too many errors. I would not recommend this restaurant unless there is a major revamp of their Cromer service. We did not leave a tip due to the catalogue of errors we experienced.

First male waiter was pleasant, knowledgeable and generally helpful. The female 'boss' maitre d was grumpy, scruffy (ketchup down her shirt!) and couldn't care less about us. She delivered our shared starter but didn't provide the promised two plates. She also delivered our main courses but both didn't notice that we had no cutlery (I 'robbed' some from another table after waiting too long) nor did she ever return with the requested ketchup. We have driven past Chophouse 1,000's of times over the years and never see it full or, many times, even occupied and I wondered why - now we know! We won't be returning!

Nice restaurant, with friendly service and a good selection of beers on tap. Steak was a bit tough though - perhaps I was just unlucky?

Visited 12/01: stayed in the adjoining hotel so decided to have dinner here the night we arrived at the hotel. There was plenty of tables to choose from despite being advised to book ahead as it gets busy, it was very quiet the whole time we were there so unsure why it said we needed to book! The hotel says you can get three courses for £25 and on the site is says £25 but then you click the menu and go to the restaurant and they say it’s £26 which is a bit cheeky, yes it’s only a £1 difference but surely you should change the signage right?! But at it turned out the selection on the set menu was terrible so we chose off the main menu instead. The portion sizes are huge and the presentation makes it look better than it tasted- it was like a whole chicken inside the chicken burger and a whole cow inside the beef burger! The wings were nice but over £8 for 3 wings shared between two of us seems steep, but the sauce was so nice and spicy. The burgers were ok- edible but nothing particularly nice and we ended up leaving some as it was just huge! The chips were ok, some felt undercooked but the sauces and coleslaw were left under heating lamps and developed a “film” across them. I wouldn’t come here again, the food was below average except for the wings. The service was okay, nothing amazing but not awful either. There was a smell towards the end of the meal too- like sinks or toilets… I’d sum up the experience and taste as “meh”.

Booked this for a belated birthday meal with my daughter. Booked on first table so had a 5.00pm dining slot with 50% off food. Restaurant was empty when we arrived and almost empty on leaving. Had fish & chips, side of onion rings, gin cheesecake & cocktails. Good service, lovely food. Will be back.

Less than 15 people in restaurant and took 50 mins to cook 4 basic meals and during wait had to ask for second drink. Meals were cold when finally come out. They don’t know the difference between medium and rare, then arguing about the order (is customer not right even when they could be wrong). Nachos look like they were cooked day before Must say overall will not be back and best of luck anyone that goes in, passed this place many time and through must go in. Not again

We went to the Chop House in Edinburgh and had a wonderful meal so when we saw the Chop House in Bristol we thought this would be a great place for dinner. There were 6 of us and we were promptly seated, that was the end of the prompt service. We did have a wonderful person, TB I think, that described the wines to us and that’s why I gave it 2 stars, he was very knowledgeable and steered us in the right direction. Next we order our food, we planned on having ribs, surprise, they were out of ribs. We went with a New York Strip. We waited over an hour for our food, none of the 6 of us had a good meal! Steak was over cooked and had no taste. I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Very lovely hotel in the heart of Bristol. Spacious, well maintained and laid-out rooms. Great breakfast especially the scrambled eggs and baked beans. Functional car park, easily accessible to the main attraction at the city centre. Very courteous and extremely helpful staff.

It's within the hotel and not bad for what it is, staff didn't have much clue about the clean air zone and could be a bit more enthusiastic about their work

Visited on Father's Day a few weeks back and had a lovely time. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. Service was quick, food was absolutely delicious! I had the pork chops with extra blue cheese sauce, plus a side of onion rings, and Eton Mess for dessert. Children's meals were good too. Atmosphere wasn't great, but it was a Sunday evening in a hotel restaurant so not exactly a surprise, especially when you're in the heart of Bristol with so many options for eating out. I'd definitely return to the Chophouse though and would recommend it.

Great service and restaurant was nice, however food wasn't anything too exciting and the portions were tiny. I paid £17 for fish and chips and got the smallest piece of fish I've ever been served with a matching tiny basket of chips

Plus d’une heure pour avoir le dessert alors qu’il restait 3 tables… notre bébé pleurait, on languissait de partir mais on avait commandé et impossible d’arriver à dire à un serveur qu’on ne voulait plus le dessert et qu’on voulait juste payer et partir.

A superb meal, attentive staff and nice quiet atmosphere. We stayed for one night in the Future hotel and had dinner in the Chop House restaurant, we had a simple meal of loin of cod and fish and chips with the best onion rings I have ever had. In fact, I think the fish and chips was up there with the best. Great value for money and some nice wine, finished off with a lovely selection of cheese and a cheese cake.

We were staying at the Future Inns and on our first evening decided to eat at the in house Chophouse. The Hotel is, like many others, suffering from staff shortages. However, the staff on duty where efficient, friendly & did their best complete with apologies etc. The food was a different matter. A small menu is always a good sign to me so I felt quite happy. We didn't want a starter but ordered a side of onion rings to share instead asking to have them first. They were delicious, large, round and coated with a light crispy batter. My wife then had the half cajun chicken. When they said half they weren't joking. the spicy coating was delicious, yes I tried it, and the chicken was moist and perfectly cooked. I had the roasted loin of cod with chorizo and cannellini beans again perfectly cooked. The triple cooked chips we both had as extras were delicious. Crispy and fluffy in equal measures. In a foody city, Chophouse can stand proud.

Chose the 3course menu deal. Lovely starters and dessert but main course spoilt by "minute" steaks impossible to eat as were very difficult to chew because so tough Otherwise it would have been verygood value. Long waits between courses too but pleasant service.

Nice service, food fine. Veggie burger served with rock solid burger bun which was disappointing, food needs some improvement.

Just had dinner. The staff tried to be kind. However, the service was slow and unsatisfying. 2 of the various dishes I got were not the ones ordered (e.g., chicken burger rather than meat). Two kids chicken burgers were more bread than chicken. Moreover, the chicken was dry. Staff forgetting to bring forks/spoons or the various sauces been asked. The ribs I ordered were well cooked but the BBQ was some kind of sweat tomato sauce. The Onion rings topping were massive but sickening. The fried part tasted like old used up oil... Dishes sizes? Some large, some small. Worth the cost? Not worth my time.

Hardly anyone sitting in, and we had a table of four. Took ages for food to arrive, only three plates did. I ordered a steak rare, came over done and steak knife could not even cut it. The fourth plate arrived when we finished ours. Then we asked for the fourth plate to be taken away which they put in a old ice cream container and wrapped in plastic. Gross. We were all patient and laughed off the bad experience, we said thank you and goodbye to the waiters (we had already tipped the waiter) but they ignored us.. And looked relieved there only costumers (at that point) were leaving. Would not go again even if you paid me.

Excellent food, perfectly cooked steaks. The ribs were humongous. The portions were all pretty big. Came with a group of four of us and a lovely gentleman who I think was the manager made us some amazing cocktails his name was Scott. He recommended a cocktail that I really enjoyed. The service was excellent as well. A lovely waitress Carmony recommended the nachos as a starter which were perfect for the four of us. She made us feel welcome and looked after. The only downside was the music was a bit dreary and the interior could do with updating. Everything is very dark and it was lacking atmosphere. All in all a very pleasant experience and I will be recommending to any other friends or family visiting Bristol. Hannah. X

Lovely food and brilliant service. The lady with the curly ginger hair recommended a great place to do our Christmas shopping, I think her name was Harmony. She really made our visit to the restaurant very charming.

Never again. Didn’t get all of our order. Food was terrible. Tasted like it was pre prepared and heated up. Best part was the drinks. Felt sick within a few hours with a badly upset stomach. I would advise staying clear

Visited the restaurant as staying in the hotel and the set menu looked like a good deal. The waiter appeared inexperienced, although very pleasant and struggled when taking our order. Some of the items were not available, which was disappointing as there were only 3 or 4 to choose from. The restaurant was quiet and at one point we were the only table but we waited almost an hour for our food and we had to go to the bar to chase one of our drinks. Due to some misunderstanding our starters and mains came together. The food was ok but nothing special. My son ate off the main menu and ordered a burger. He is fussy so we requested that the burger was plain. However we had expected some chips - £12 for a plain burger seems extortionate. Dessert was disappointing. My choice was unavailable so we all had the chocolate fudge cake - the standard nasty bought in cake that many restaurants buy in. Oddly, icecream was served in a soup bowl next to the cake as if the ice cream could not possibly touch the cake. I was disappointed with the meal. Perhaps the main menu is better.

We were booked to see then James Bond film at Cabot on Saturday evening and could bot find anywhere to eat in the centre. Out of desperation we went outside and found this gem of a place within a few short yards. It was great and honestly provided the best steak I’ve ever had in the U.K. - cooked perfectly medium rare. I can’t wait to go again. Staff were fab, it was reasonably priced and deserves to be full (though I’m glad it wasn’t on this occasion!)

All started so well got a drink from the bar and was seated by the server and given a menu. It was down hill from there 40 minutes later I was still sat there with an empty glass waiting for my order to be taken. Having approached the member of staff who claimed to be the restaurant manager I was told by him why I had not waved at him to get his attention. If being a business man eating on my own was not bad enough he expected me to start waving at him to get his attention and the rest of the restaurant at the same time “oh look at Billy no mates over there” he went on to tell me that it was not his fault as the staff on duty were all new that day and were not trained and due to holidays he was also covering the general managers job which was not in his contract. Obviously he was using that evening service as a training session and did not hang around to see if I was going to get a free meal as o was obviously part of this training session and went went to Frankie & Benny’s across the road where they were obviously not doing a training session and the food and service was really spot on. May I suggest the restaurant manager from the Chophouse tries it to learn how it’s done!!!! I am in Bristol again tomorrow night and I definitely won’t be wasting 40 minutes of my night waiting to have my order taken again.

Visited last night. Very disappointed by the food, all very dry. Especially the mezza dish One out the children's meal was enjoyed. Staff did seem very busy although not busy with visitors. We must have had an unfortunate evening there as some the reviews really rate this place. It would not be a place we will be revisiting.

Sat down to order drinks & bar snacks, was made to move to designated seats to eat food, where we received a Chicago Town Frozen pizza with a bit of garnish slapped on at the price of £14!!! Retail is £2.When we queried with management it was confirmed that the pizza was what we thought & was basically told it is what it is & that they have to make money. Apparently they we’re doing us a favour by letting us order off the room service menu (we weren’t told this)

Was so looking forward to a lovely meal on our anniversary until this. It took to long to order food in chophouse restaurant in the hotel and when the food eventually came they got it wrong it took another 10 minutes to replace. All In all we had our meal 2hours later. Food was excellent but shortage of staff let them down in the restaurant. Also waitress came with the card machine asked us to put our pin number forgot to tell us about the tip ended up putting pin number in as tip and she laughed and said we can't fix this. As we left she said don't leave your card about as I know your pin number now. Would not recommend. Working in the same environment I would of bent over backwards to try and correct problems not find it funny. Would not recommend. Spoilt out night.

I am staying at the Futures Inn in Bristol. Many choices to eat but decided , nervously to try the Chop house in the Hotel as I was tired. Fantastic! Food is great, I was nearly finished with the nachos ( delicious) but the desert was Devine. Everyone I spoke to there, whether it was the steaks or burgers were equally happy. The staff were amazing, so warm and friendly, especially the jolly Tilla, such warmth and fun. Didn’t like the Sauvignon blanc, no problem, went for the Malbec instead which was very decent. Highly recommended.

Brilliant meal, great dessert! Highly enjoyed the passion fruit cheesecake. The staff was absolutely lovely. Would definitely come again :)

Went to this establishment for an afternoon drink as the weather was terrible. Always. Even past it but never been in, thought I’d give it a try, and I’m glad I did. Tilla, who served me was professional and very friendly. Spoke to him about the place and he was happy to have a chat and made me feel very comfortable. I’ll definitely be returning for a meal here and will recommend to my friends.

The rib rack was massive and the tortilla starter will feed two Good quality well cooked steak also and very good service so a very pleasant meal. A little pricey but would not put me off going again.

Nice place, nice service, but website informs that kids eat free - restaurant manager says "no". My wife called number from website and they said yes. We thought ok we don't want argue but that is not nice to be misinformed. Also kids menu says £7 on the bill charged £8. Again misinformation. However food tasty, service very nice. Pleasant atmosphere and quite nice music. All in all good just a lot misinformation.

Not sure it was a rib eye, one end of it was medium. It didn't really taste of anything. Waited a long time even though it wasn't busy. A pity.

This year has been a difficult one for me following a diagnosis of Terminal Cancer back in February. Not knowing how many more Christmas Days I will be around for I really wanted this one to be special and spend it with my Big Sister and Brother In Law who lives over a hundred miles away from me so we don't get to spend as much time together as we would like to. So I booked this for us so we could relax, enjoy each others company while someone else does all the work for our lunch.On arrival, there were signs clearly stating the Christmas Lunch was being served on the 6th Floor of the Hotel (The Chop House is within the Future Inn hotel) so finding it was very easy. We were greeted on arrival on the 6th floor by a really pleasant young lady who offered us a choice of Prosecco or Orange juice, Someone else took our coats and a young gentleman showed us to our seats. Our table was very nicely laid out with name tags with our menu choices printed on them which made a great reminder for us and eliminated any mistakes when serving our courses. We were then asked if we had been given our presents yet? We hadn't and the lady went off and returned with 3 gift bags. Myself and Derek received a nice Baliss and Hardy wash Bag with toiletries inside and my Sister Joy received a ladies Toiletry set.These gifts were a total surprise to us as I do not remember any mention when booking the meal and I cannot remember ever receiving gifts when dining out at Christmas before. A big plus point to the Future Inn/Chop House.Unfortunately on Christmas Day, my cancer decided it was to be one of those nauseous days when eating wasn't going to be possible. I felt pretty rough all around, to be honest, but was determined to spend the time with my sister and brother in law as that was the thing I most wanted for Christmas this year. So the food was bought ina timely fashion and all looked delicious and Derek very much enjoyed having 2 plates of Turkey to eat seeing as I couldn't manage mine. I did manage to taste a couple of spoons of my sweet potato soup starter and a little of my Chocolate Mouse Pudding and both were tasty. My sister liked her salmon but just would have liked a bit more sauce as the salmon itself in pastry was a little dry. But overall the whole experience was a very good one despite my feeling ill and I would definitely recommend it to anyone. The price was very good value at only £43 per head too.If the service we received on Christmas Day lunch is an indication of the Future Inn hotel as a whole then I would definitely like to stay there sometime when visiting my sister again.

Good food good service who could ask for more well worth a visit

Food was appalling ribs were dry and cold. Would not even feed it to my dog. The service was diabolical was never even checked to make sure everything was ok, we required any further drinks.

El lugar estaba muy tranquilo un domingo por la noche, tal vez debería haber sonado las alarmas. El servicio estaba bien, pero la comida realmente no era muy buena. Tenía la hamburguesa vegetariana de miso y garbanzos, que era realmente soso (no podía probar miso, solo mucha cebolla). Servido rápidamente como prácticamente vacío y el personal era educado y cortés. Elegí el menú fijo con dos platos para 15, tengo que decir que el primer plato fue horrible y solo tuve algunos bocados. Me la quitaron de la mesa, pero no me preguntaron si algo andaba mal, lo cual fue sorprendente dado que apenas se tocó. El plato principal estaba bien, mi observación es que los trozos malos de pechuga de pollo deberían haberse recortado antes de cocinarlos o servirlos, y no había suficiente salsa, pero hacía calor, lo cual es clave para mí. Todavía estaba masticando mi último bocado cuando me quitaron el plato y no pude decir que no, ya que tenía la boca llena, ¡un poco prematuro para los estándares de cualquiera! ! El principal problema que tuve fue con el régimen de limpieza que se estaba llevando a cabo mientras yo y otros comíamos. Por un lado, es fantástico ver que se realiza una limpieza profunda (se quitan y se limpian debajo de los asientos de banco) todas las barandillas y husillos metálicos se limpian a fondo, pero no es una experiencia gastronómica agradable. El rocío iba por todas partes, los pedazos de muebles estaban agrupados como si no hubiera invitados. I would have liked real chips they were like oven chips .would we eat in next time I don’t think so ,we would head across town .

No estaba muy ocupado y el servicio era bastante bueno. Lo que fue decepcionante fue las fichas muy secas! ¡Y también que no tenían las batatas fritas! Mi marido tenía el Pollack, que era sabroso pero muy pequeño y tenía varios huesos. Pudimos elegir entre un menú a la carta y un menú limitado donde se podía tener un curso para 10, dos cursos para 15 y tres para 18.

Tuvimos una comida horrible. Fue advertido por colegas pero pensé que lo intentaría por mí mismo.Entrante caro, solo unas gambas fritas congeladas. No vale 10.El filete era horrible. Se suponía que era grupa pero era extremadamente delgada. La delgadez hizo imposible obtener mi bistec raro según lo solicitado y fue masticable hasta el punto de ser incomible.Servicio horrible y muy lento.Comeré fuera del hotel la próxima vez.

Mi novia y yo visitamos el 26/8 para celebrar nuestro tercer aniversario.¡Qué noche tan fantástica tuvimos! Josh, el camarero con el que hice amistad en mi última visita, estuvo aquí una vez más y me reconoció de inmediato.Ahora, como supervisor, su nivel de servicio al cliente sigue siendo sobresaliente. Muy simpático y divertido, intercambiamos excelentes "bromas".Mi novia y yo comimos bistecs, uno con papas fritas y salsa de champiñones, y otro con papas salteadas y salsa de queso azul, ambos cocinados según lo solicitado (med) y probado.También tenía toffee pegajoso y una tarta de queso para dulce.Definitivamente volveré a visitar para alcanzar a Josh de nuevo.

Had an evening meal here during our recent stay at the attached hotel. It was delicious. The staff were good. We had to wait a while for the food as they were busy, but it was worth the wait. Highly recommended.

Decent restaurant for a hotel used for business stays. Portion sizes are generous and the quality is very good. Wide selection of meals available on the menu.

Average food nothing special. Steak was cooked to my liking so can't complain on that part. Soft drinks are on the pricey side.

The chowder was watery soup with muscles, lamb starter was too saltt. The curry had a flavourful sauce but bland boiled chicken in it and the nan was hard, the monk fishtail was undercooked and slimy but the veg was lovely. The apple pie was bland and the cheese n biscuits were the best bit. Service was good and they were really good about our dislike of the food (to be fair they seemed to expect it) quick service no one in there on a Saturday

I was in Bristol on business and got back to the hotel quite late. I didn't want to go wandering through Bristol so I opted to eat at the Chophouse which located in the hotel.

The food was very nice if the service not ultra fast for the amount of people in the restaurant. Had the moussaka from the specials menu and my colleague had the steak, kidney and mushroom pie. I had a very large salad with my meal which was very unexpected, as usually a side salad is fairly small. We also both had the chocolate mousse fondant with ice cream which was very nice.

I paid GBP 101 for starter, steak and dessert with wine. The food must be pretty great then, right?

A relatively recent opening in this new hotel development, the pub is a good sized room covering much of the ground floor with full height windows to make the most of the views of the shopping centre across the road. That said, many of the tables were laid up for dining. There was also a circular staircase descending to a lower level, although we did not investigate this.

We had an enjoyable meal here with friends.The lamb shanks are fab and my friend had the salmon which was lovely.Very relaxed atmosphere and very good service.

I came here as I had a voucher from the hotel, but was really surprised. The food was great and there were several non-chip options. The service was friendly and professional and house red very drinkable.

Primera vez que he estado aquí, así que no estaba seguro de qué esperar, pero todo estaba bien, el personal muy atento y nada era demasiado problema para ellos. Realmente disfrutamos de esta primera visita aquí.

No puedo calificar este restaurante lo suficiente!

The TripAdvisor score made us select this restaurant simply as the better stake house was full.The tables were crammed in with one under the stair case meaning both guests had to sit at an angle, not what you expect from the "2nd best stake house in Bristol"Seemed a bit rushed. Go again, no, had better, yes.

I was staying in the hotel so decided to give it a try.I had the chicken which took over 25 minutes to arrive.much to my surprise it was fried.It tasted ok but not that good to be worth such a long wait.I followed this with a pleasant individual strawblrry Pavlovoan.with my coke and my £5 couched the bill came to £18.Service reasonable but I had to wave to get the waitresses attention.

We decided to eat here as we were checked in as guests of the hotel. The waiting staff were exceptional and did everything they could to make my meal experience special. The layout of the lounge area is weird, and the sliding doors that opened directly onto the pavement, made sitting there very cold. The food arrived and was warm, but the menu is limited, and drinks are expensive

The modern in the city restaurant is part of the FutureInn hotel Cabot circus. They offer a reasonable range of options and have a specials board. We ate there on a Thursday evening coinciding with one of their Jazz nights. The starter and main were pleasant and well priced. Their wine was well selected and again of a reasonable price. One of our mains include a basil mashed potato which felt 'old'. It tasted as if it had been warmed up under a salamander therefore had a crust. The options of new potatoes would have been very welcomed. Apart from that criticism all the the food was well presented and tasted good. We ended the evening listening to the Jazz as we finished our wine.

The specials are excellent and the meals are well proportioned, service is efficient and friendly. Often eat here when staying.

I've been coming here for two and a half years, the menu in the chophouse has hardly changed at all, I sometimes have to eat elsewhere but I love the way the staff treat the guests.Please sort the menu!

Popular hotel restaurant, with good selection of specials as well as good steaks. Wine selection is more than adequate at reasonable prices to suit any pocket.

We have stayed at the Future Inn on many occasions and the restaurant has changed over the years, but recently has provided excellent meals well priced. However, on two occasions now I have requested mushy peas which appeared on the menu, and the staff seem to think that mushed up garden peas are suitable.Nevertheless, I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant for anyone wishing to eat here.

Had a rack of ribs here, very tasty and good service, a nice restaurant inside the future Inn hotel, worth a visit

Worst meal we have ever had served unedible cold there was only 9 of us. They took it away to warm up don't reheat poultry (whatever it was meant to be) or fish disgusting nobody ate there's.

We had two evening meals and both were from the "Chophouse Special menu" and both were very good. They were Thai Green king Prawns (which was quite spicely hot) and a lamb curry (which was medium). The service was good and the food was obviously freshly cooked. Breakfast was also OK. I was especially pleased to find that the fried eggs were soft and juicy and not (as is common in hotels) cooked until you could bounce them on the floor!

Cooked breakfast was shocking! Rip off! Sausage was cooked days before, eggs were rubber, beans were OK. Ended up with 2 slices of toast for £9.50. If you can't do a decent breakfast then don't bother

So easy to sit and enjoy a quiet meal with friends.We had 2 meals there and they were both properly cooked and well presented. The bar prices are a bit pricey, like all hotel bars.

Have visited Chophouse a few times and have had some nice dinners here - they sometimes do a 2-4-1 offer on mains on Vouchercloud so worth keeping an eye out.The portions are very generous and I have never left feeling unsatisfied! The menu is a mixture of steaks, grills etc. or pasta dishes. You do also forget this restaurant is within a hotel. They do jazz evenings on Thursdays which sound good but you have to pay for tickets to enter, a bit cheeky I feel if you are already there and have paid for your dinner. The food is average but nice and very easy if you want to have lunch/dinner near Cabot Circus.
