Chocstop Diner in Burnley

don’t go takes like 2 hour to arrive comes cold not even worth the wait to be honest I forgot I even ordered it took that long.

It is so good the food is amazing and the indoors is so nice the atmosphere is cool very good waiters and the best milkshakes ever

Asked for no nuts due to an allergy . Was then served Nutella. The server argued that it wasn’t Nutella and didn’t have nuts and said I should eat it . When I asked to see packaging they brought 2 undated and unmarked tubs . 4 others on my table tasted mine and confirmed it had nuts . we were told ‘ why are you taking it so seriously’ . I’ve reported to environmental health and to Burnley council.

I came here when it newly opened and it was cold inside. A year/ few or so later- still the same! This makes the food cold quickly and can ruin the experience. I’d highly recommend some heating in some parts indoors. Surely you can’t expect customers to come fully wrapped up with their scarves and gloves! It really is cold and it makes the visit a little uncomfortable. Please try sort this for a more enjoyable visit and time.

Waited over 2 hours for delivery. When I called the restaurant I was told, it was on the way and to wait 20 minutes because deliveries were taking so long because it was raining.... I live 1.8miles away from the restaurant! I called again 20 minutes later to be told again "it is on the way please wait 20 more minutes, it is raining" The food never turned up. Really unacceptable excuses and service.

Popped in for a coffee on way to train station - really nice diner, the cakes etc look absolutely amazing so will be calling back when I have more time. Cheers to the guy who served me :-)

Amazing desserts from cookie doughs to waffles to milkshakes. Must try these. Friendly staff who cater for all requirements.

I found this dessert cafe very good. I have a waffle every time. I want to get a milkshake instead but the waffles are too good to be true. I was however a little disappointed they reduced the range of waffles. I want the blue rainbow one back. I would highly recommend to all who have a sweet tooth.

Desserts were hot apple crumble is the best we ordered two white Choc cookie dough one milk chocolate and farrero rocheo milkshake and rainbow omg the kids loved it I’m so happy as the kids love the desserts and honestly speaking the best place to order desserts from in Nelson I’ve tried others and no one compares to them!

The food tasted great however I didn’t enjoy burning my fingers on the side of the metal pan that the food was served in!! please provide your customers with the right health and safety information when serving your food! Overall my visit was mediocre but the food was great! Thank you

I went to chocstop diner and ordered a ferrero rocher milkshake and strawberry delight waffles. They were worth their price and delicious. Totally recommend this to anyone.

Had hot double chocolate cookie dough for my ten year old. The dish is like a Karahi dish and is hot that it will burn you to the touch so how do you expect a child to eat out of it. No warning from the server. I held it while he ate it which he found delicious. I had the chocolate ice cream sundae that was average. The flakes were a bit tough and the sauce was average. Altogether only OK and lacks attention to detail. However, the price is excellent and the server who took our order was really nice.

Came here to treat my sister after her 11th birthday. Ordered a mango smoothie, Ferraro Roche sundae, Cookie Monster milkshake and milk chocolate cookie dough. I've heard great things about this place but it's just missing something. Sundae is okay, looks nice but just tastes like a gloopy concoction of chocolate and hazelnut. I suppose that's what it essentially is but for almost £5 I expected slightly better. Warm cookie dough was an interesting concept and tastes very good, very good value and so is the mango smoothie. I'd go so far as to say that is is better than Innocent or other drink brands. Cookie Monster milkshake was a letdown however. No cookie dough in the shake yet they serve it warmed on it's own unique dish? Instead we get Maryland cookies and an odd blend of Oreos??? It also had Galaxy Cookie Crumble in the mix. It doesn't work. Weird, strangely bland taste with what I'm convinced was a hazelnut aftertaste. I think less is more in the case here, granted the value is very good but the more simple desserts taste much better than any of the extreme desserts as I'm going to refer to them. I recommend grabbing some ice-cream, warm cookie dough or a smoothie if you are here as I personally feel some of the tasty sounding desserts get ruined by an oddly implemented ingredient. Still a good place and maybe it will be better next time as we came about 30 min after they first opened.

Always great service in chocstop and the food never dissapoints, good choice of shakes and a very varied menu, something go suit everyone sweet tooth! Would highly recommend for dessert or midnight snack 😉

Always have had a good experience. Friendly staff and a good selection of desserts. My children love this place

We decided...well I did...to go to Burnley's Chocstop Diner as my birthday treat...I do have a sweet tooth...and it was really spot on the waffles were sweet and tasty and the ice cream just yummy. the only quibble was it was a bit chilly in the diner.

Well as I said, WOW! Dropped in with family as a treat for the kids, i think it was as much a treat for the adults also. Very clean and the decor is brilliant. Staff really friendly and couldn't have done more for us. Portion sizes won't disappoint you! Give it a go! You'll love it.

This place is amazing. It’s a shame I’m over 30 and thus always watching my weight! The cookie dough is my favourite thing on the menu

since summer hols started. i have taken kids here afew times. staff are always friendly and welcoming. deserts n shakes are always tasty.

My first visit to Preston from London, was recommend by family so we decided to give it a go. First of all Love the marvel wall also the filmy poster wall too. Deco is fab and is very accommodating for young children good quality hairchairs none of the wooden cheap ones with no tables HATE THOSE. Seating is very comfy and has a diner feel to it. Now to the desserts❤What can I say choice is ample, good potion sizes not like we get in London. Chocolate is used freely fruit is fresh...ice cream was amazing. Glad we visited will definitely recommend this place. It was the BURNLEY BRANCH WE VISITED

Family order of 5 waffles with diff toppings. Arrived over hr and half after ordering and was cold and hard. Everyone was disappointed.Contacted Chocstop to complain and told to put in a message. Never heard back. I would never order from there again. Total let down £45 in bin.

Milkshakes are good, however I'm not keen on their waffles/cakes/hot drinks - quality isn't very good but then you get what you pay for. Very busy whenever you go but staff do all they can to accommodate and hurry service up

Everything's very loud and proud. A combination of desi meets American diner with a slice of chavvy frames for good measure (well, this is Nelson, art work would be wasted). Foods fine, menus a bit strange, but as long as you've com for the surgery hit of the century then I don't think you can go wrong really. Street view, so, you can sit by and watch the boy racers in their durg-runners or the drunks stagger about outside. All in all a great experience in sugar, and how many ways it can be served. This is Nelson I guess, and there ain't much else (legal) going on elsewhere is there?

Every flavour of ice cream or smoothy you can think of and even some you can't. The portions are huge. Would highly recommend.

Desserts are nice here. Price is not too bad I visit at least once a week with children. Definitely recommend for families to visit

Been here a few times now and sampled several things on the menu and all delicious. My favorite is the strawberry waffle with Nutella, a real treat. Staff polite just a shame I’ve never seen it very busy, we need to spread the word, delicious waffles made to order

Hi all , First of all I am by profession a freelance consumer journalist, and I came Upton this place by word of mouth..... so I decided to take my daughter in (Burnley branch), she got the chocolate sponge and I had nothing (not a sweet tooth unless it's work), and the manager came over and offered a coffee on the house and gave my daughter ice cream with her dessert..... again on the house. Now that's what I call very good customer service. Instantly this got my work head on and started to take note of where I was... the decor is unbelievable, smart, clean , very American sweet diner which was cool. Old train station photos on the walls which was an era beyond me and was nice to look at how it was in those days. A 3D Darth Vader on the wall which was a touch beyond what I imagined. Now the food which was being served out looked delicious and the costs were very reasonable indeed. Staff smart and attentive and the whole place have a feel like you didn't want to leave. So all in all, this place meets all standards expected and more and I definitely will be putting this place where it belongs on my consumer A list as it does as it should, and that's offers great customer service with a product that is outstanding. Well done chocstop Burnley. A+++++++

So much sugar and pink decor. Excellent for the kids. Great for the adults. Loosen belt on way out, or don't eat for the rest of the day.

Spoilt for choice here. Excellent customer experience. High quality of desserts and food. Number one desserts establishment for miles.

Went for after having a meal out. It was the perfect sweet treat. We had milkshakes, many fab ones toChoose. We loved the bubblegum Ice cream too! The waffles are to die for! Fresh,light chocolates and great for sharing. Lovely customer service and quick even though it was quite busy! We will be back

me and my friend went for a milkshake, and they were amazing! not even pricey either. it seems really clean and the staff are nice. The only problem is, the one In Burnley there is no validated parking which is a bit of a pain.

A nice little treat before going across the road to the cinema.The choice was fantastic - waffle, cakes, smoothies and traditional warm deserts too. There was something to satisfy all sweet toothed Burnley citizens!The surroundings are lovely and clean, the service was quick and friendly and the food was amazing!Will most definitely be back.

The deserts are Belgian waffle was the best one I've had so farI loved it!5 out of 5 for hygiene5 out of 5 for deserts But only thing is that it is quite small So I would prefer it to be a bit bigger
