Chocafellas in Medway

Ordered an Uber Eats take away from here. Definately not worth the price. Our order consisted of a crepe with strawberries, an ice cream sundae, a milk shake and a waffle. Whilst all nice, it was a challenge to order at £36. But pressure from the kids and I relented. By checkout time, and the order being processed, I was shocked to see the bill had risen to £45. FOR ICE CREAM. Additional service and delivery charges, not overly obvious at the time of confirming order. Whilst I am not sure if the extras are down to Uber or the restuarant, it has left a bad taste, and I certainly won't be doing that again.

Desserts are good specially waffle.

Asked if I could pay by card and get change for a note and was told yes. Paid by card then told they don’t have enough change… simply would have paid cash. Got 2 coffees. Flat white was stone cold and both tasted terrible. Staff seemed disinterested and everything seemed like hard work. Not good

Me and my partner only bought 2 milkshakes, both of which were full of plastic from the wrappers, making them inedible. Toilets were also disgusting, we are never coming again.

Absolutely outrageous behaviour from the staff was yelled at and there was dirt and grime all over tthe place the “boss” is awful he doesn’t help and only just earlier two young women were stood up for tap water and were treated vile being hit in the face and trays being thrown at them all over asking for some tap water !?wtf do not recommend

Worst kinder bueno milkshake I’ve ever had in my life, walked in on a Saturday at around 2:30 and the place was quiet as anything! Should’ve taken that as a sign. Can’t speak for the food, however if the milkshakes are anything to go by I definitely wouldn’t try it.

Ferrera milkshake is terrible just water no taste at all. Ice-cream isn't much better.

Been trying to find a good place in the area to get a hair cut as there wasn’t any I had to go to different areas I saw this new place open on wickford high street so I’d thought I’d give it a try the owner who cut my hair done an amazing job cutting my hair and the customer service was brilliant very talkative and wasn’t sitting there in silence and this is the fist barber I’ve been to that has a loyalty card where you get a half price on your hair cut if you get six stamps which is a bonus i highly recommend this place and I will be definitely going on a regular Mason

Tried a new place, Nick was great, got offered a tea or coffee as soon as I sat down. Great haircut and beard trim, definetly worth going, I will be going again

Ate here, ordered a panini which took forever to come, when it did it was cold. 1/10 for taste and service.

Horrible experience, our order took ages to get ready. Staff could be heard fighting in the kitchen. The spiced chai latte tasted more like hot milk.

Only had pancakes with lemon and sugar....the worst cooked and worst tastings I have ever eaten. Small, stodgy in luke warm and tasteless even with a. Reduced price, still £15 for two of us!!!!

Absolutely poor customer service. A couple of weeks ago. I went in there for a coffee. You know for me it's a different place to get a coffee. However, the waitress kept walking away and didn't acknowledge my presence. When I got her attention, she rudely said "I am on my break. Can't you see that?" I just replied with, "You know what don't worry about it. I'll go somewhere else" And I did just that. Chocoafellas is a really terrible place and I can see why not many people go to it.

place has gone downhill since when i visited last a few years ago. we was the only customers in there and it took them half an hour to serve us. there was sick over the toilets and one of the sheets in there said they was last cleaned 15th august. a milkshake was £7 and then they was really small(200ml). however the waffles were very good but a bit overpriced

First time there today. The staff were friendly & very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. It was a little pricey. But the food was freshly made, prepared & cooked. From the ice cream to the hot food. Will go back.

Was very disappointed with the Mac and cheese they brought it out to me uncooked and cold then I sent it back and it still tasted horrible it made me want to throw up then I asked for my money and they wouldn’t give it back after that I finally got my money but left and got the most disgusting looks just for being honest and not wanting to be poisoned but the pizza was perfect but don’t think I’m going to go to the Chatham one ever again 🤬😤

This venue, in a prime high street location, appears inviting, with its comfy seating and fairly stylish décor – but DON’T BE FOOLED – looks can be deceptive! As you would expect from an American style diner, the menu is extensive, with a wide selection of meals, which both look and sound good, and were reasonably priced. But BE WARNED, what you see on the menu will bear no resemblance to what you actually receive! In fact, I would go further, ignore selecting anything, just eat the menu – it will probably taste better! I’m not sure if any of the staff are from a catering background, or are from the UK, or indeed, are from this planet. They seemed clueless. The place was empty apart from our group of five (a warning in itself) but we still had to continually remind the waiter (I use the term loosely) of what we had ordered. The simplest of tasks seemed beyond them. We even had to send our coffees back because they had forgotten one of the ingredients, namely the coffee! When the food did eventually arrive – at sporadic intervals – we had to ask for cutlery. The waiter disappeared and came back with three forks between the five of us. We, reasonably we thought, asked for knives to go with our forks. The waiter disappeared again and came back with knives. We then had to request two further sets of cutlery for the other two. Grudgingly the waiter fetched two more sets. I can see why he hadn’t bothered; two of the meals were inedible. They had chosen ‘Loaded Fries’ which consisted of mostly raw potatoes covered in melted cheese with some bits of chicken. It looked like my cat’s sick, but my cat’s sick probably tastes better! When the waiter was challenged over this, he offered to re-heat the plates. We declined his kind offer. The other food wasn’t much better , for example, the toast was virtually raw i.e bread, the maple syrup was treacle, the wrap was like cardboard, I could go on. Needless-to-say, we didn’t bother with desserts! During this time, a couple arrived and sat close to us. It wasn’t long before they were sending their food back too. We should have complained and sought to get a refund but we didn’t know where to start with what was wrong, and we doubted any of the staff would understand us anyway. In truth, we couldn’t get out of the place fast enough. If you’ve walked for ten days through the desert without food or drink and you come across this place, my advice would be to carry on walking! Tip: Avoid this place until you see a sign outside saying: ‘Under New Management’.

Thought we would try this restaurant and what a mistake that was for a birthday meal , waited what seemed like an eternity for the food and how you can't cook loaded fries properly with most of the chips raw is beyond me and the breakfast pancakes weren't even cooked properly either and ,the coffees had no actual coffee flavour to them at all more like hot milk , even see another table send there food back, the toilets actually didn't even look like they had been cleaned all day definitely won't be returning and wasting my money here

Ordered mocha and churros. Bill was around 11£. Coffee was not the best and 6 tiny pieces of churros with ice cream for 8£ was Ridiculous.

Very disappointed with my visit here today. The restaurant in general is unclean and scruffy. There were a bunch of 8-12 year olds grouped around the entrance who every now and then ran around it screaming with what looked like a 25 year old ring reader who stank of weed. We ordered food including plain chicken which’s which turned out to be spicy battered wings, much to my child’s upset. Service was extremely slow but we eventually ordered desert which was nice, but it’s hard to get a waffle wrong with a waffle maker. Wouldn’t come back again.

The worse breakfast iv ever eaten.! Cold and horrible waiting 35 mins just for coffee and wasn't even busy.! They breakfast came out in 3 stages beans 5 mins after and chips 10 mins after it was cold and horrible. The cook is definitely no Gordon Ramsey.!!!

I just got ice cream scoops here, It tastes expired, was charged 3.00 for one scoop but it was utterly waste of money. The scoop wasn't even cold neither creamy. Really disappointed.

Ordered online and they took our money and didn’t deliver. Called over 25 times and no answer. Left voicemails and Facebook messages and completely ignored

Got it delivered to my house and it turned up in tiny takeaway boxes and was just massively disappointing, if you want stuff from here don’t get it delivered is all i can say

I ordered from here it come cold and missing a milkshake I called they said they would send it an hour later it still hasn’t arrived so I called again and I was told the exact same thing that I was an hour before

Funny how there were 5+ people behind the counter including a child and they still forgot the order. Normally the excuse is they are busy hence why part of the order is missing, but everytime I go past on a weekend night the place is empty!!

Visited this evening and waited over 30 minutes for 2 milkshakes, then a cheese pizza and then a mac and cheese sandwich. When I asked what took so long, I was told they were busy there was barely 6 people in the whole place, and they were more focused on the just eat orders than the actual customers in the shop. I won't be wasting my time here again

What. Disgrace waited 50 mins for a coffee. Ordered two door step bacon and egg sandwiches and a hot dog Came as a Toastedd thin toasted sandwich with our butter. Complained took my sons back I was still waiting on mine. They brought my sons back exactly the same The hot dog was out off at in. Slapped in a tin. Staff where not very helpful. If the was a 0 on the rate I would had given them a0 Was nothing like the pucture

It's almost the same as Creams and Kaspas. Only this ones more accessible and cheap. The furnishing is pink and cute. It's a pity the place was so empty. I hope they'll get more customers since the deserts were very tasty and gorgeous!!

Usually very happy with this place but today they messed my order up, I rang the restaurant and they answered the phone pretended they can’t hear me and hung up the phone and kept hanging up when I tried to ring back absolute joke not happy at all

Omg I love there waffles..tastes awesome & they add extra toppings or sauces according to our taste & likings & they charge 1.50£ for it. Prices are reasonable & quality of food is amazing..must try this restaurant.

Was shopping and needed to grab something as I was hungry. Mc Donald's was across decided to try something different!!! How have I just brought 4 milkshakes for £32!!! Well £31.96 to be exact! Lucky I’m pregnant and craving! Creams has better quality milkshakes and cost less, just go to creams

The chocolate fudge brownie waffle was very tasty

Went in with my girls (3 and 1 year old). We had bubblegum gelato and a white chocolate and strawberry 🍓 waffle. Both arrived promptly and both were excellent. My girls ran around freely and had no complaints. great service too

Staff so so friendly and inviting. The ladies on the till were helpful and accommodating. I went quite late on a Saturday, like 7.30pm. The only thing I'd say is that it didn't look open. I'd suggest something in the window that says, we're open. I could see delivery drivers doing pick up but I know some places only do takeaway after a certain time. So maybe a sign or led light. Waffle was great. Milkshake too. Really nice place to go. Clean and tidy.

Disgusting place. We came just for takeaway ice cream. There was no labels on ice cream, well okay thats fine… but when we started eating ice cream the taste of some powder.. just awful. Honestly the hygiene ,the presentation of this place is pathetic. It was nice place with good ice cream, but it changed in such a bad way.

Absolutely horrible place do not go. Myself and my partner went into here open minded as we have never been here before. Customer service was ok but not the best. Staff focused more on there phone than customers. Staff didn’t smell nice from a distance. The restaurant smelt disgusting and was completely filthy. The toilets had no/hardly any toilet roll or soap. The toilet flusher didn’t work and there was a dirty sponge and cup in one, whereas the other one had no toilet seat and the hand dryer wasn’t working properly. The milkshakes had no strong flavours and were just bland milk with flavour and was really icy at the bottom. The waffles weren’t properly cooked and had a very strong eggy flavour which you could taste through the toppings. Honestly food safety and hygiene was appalling and staff weren’t very professional and didn’t even check up on the table to see if everything was ok. First time there and the last.

I wouldn’t have even given it one star for the hygiene. Food was ok , well we only had hot chocolate and ice cream for my little girl. The lady working there cleaned our table and took my order and used the card machine all with the same glove and then she scooped up the ice cream and used her thumb to load the scoop while still Wearing the same glove!! Which is disgusting. I asked the guy working there to change my ice cream and explained the reason why . He wasn’t happy that I wanted another one , no apology or anything, instead he was huffing and puffing. He then asked me to fetch my hot chocolate from the counter when they took other customers their orders to their table. Disgusting service, will never return their!

We visited with three children under 9. Between their "music" which I presume was a computer game linked up to their sound system (guns, helicopters) blaring out. Their children keep staring at us, sub standard service (pancakes coming over 5 minutes apart), watery hot chocolate and rude service for a pricely fee of over £45, I'd suggest you avoid at all costs.

Food wasn't very nice. Beans missing from cheesy bean fries. Can of coke had a dead fly on it. Didn't have most of the menu available

Don't order from here unless your expecting to wait 2 hours for your food, for them then just to give you a refund which took 30 minutes :) Didn't bother picking the phone up either which was a great help.

Decided to try here rather than a more popular chain based in the dockside as the UberEats delivery charge was less... Can honestly say i'd never go back. Completely screwed up the order and the waffles are all over cooked. Ordered 3 waffles and 3 extra scoops of gelato. 1st waffle - Wrong waffle delivered (Snickers rather than reese's pieces) 2nd waffle - Oreo waffle. The menu states it comes with Oreo gelato. No gelato received. 3rd waffle - Biscoffee Waffle. Menu says it comes with Milk and white chocolate flakes, crushed Biscoffee, and white chocolate sauce. There was no flakes and no sauce. In addition to the incorrect waffles, one pot of gelato was incorrect. Ordered a coffee gelato and received a chocolate gelato instead. Overall if anyone is considering using here, they should re-consider their life choices and go to bigger chain in the dockside.

Okropne miejsce, strasznie brudne, bałagan na sali, menu całe klejące od czekolady, fuuu my wyszliśmy z obrzydzeniem nic nie zamawiając. Na pewno tam już nigdy nie wrócimy.
