I do not cook at all when The Penny Black is open ! I feel really sorry for cafes and restaurants like this ! It's not their fault that they are unable to open up at the moment still ! The Post office is an integral part of the Burry Port community and as such will have struggled to retain their loyal clientele! Not everyone is,driven by price but as I intend to eat there 3 or 4 times a week , still, I'm very grateful that the prices are priced really realistically , as I'm single and only on my works pension, still ! Lol x Thanks for all the care the staff gave given me since moving to Burry Port/ Pembrey. South Wales. Th

Only came across this hidden cafe with a community spirited hostess on our way back to South Wales & were smitten by how friendly and accommodating they were. If anyone in your group has a hidden need, for example avoiding cafes with a cabinet full of coca cola cans, Croes y Ceiliog at Llanwrda has the solution, making you feel like a family member. Their tasty home made food too = return visit a definite!

Exceptional food, full of flavour and beautifully presented. Every plate was a treat. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and we look forward to returning. Impressive that Dan Williams does all the cooking!

After a funneral in Narberth, the family invited us to The Alpha Inn for afternoon tea. The room was warm and cosy with wood fires. The tables were laid with China and freshly made sandwiches and cakes. The staff were excellent, making sure fresh pots of tea and coffee were brought to the table throughout. Excellent food and service. Thank you. Diolch x
