We visited while on holiday and had a fantastic early evening meal. The hosts were very attentive and looked after the children really well. Very warm atmosphere and great menu variety. Would highly recommend.

I do not cook at all when The Penny Black is open ! I feel really sorry for cafes and restaurants like this ! It's not their fault that they are unable to open up at the moment still ! The Post office is an integral part of the Burry Port community and as such will have struggled to retain their loyal clientele! Not everyone is,driven by price but as I intend to eat there 3 or 4 times a week , still, I'm very grateful that the prices are priced really realistically , as I'm single and only on my works pension, still ! Lol x Thanks for all the care the staff gave given me since moving to Burry Port/ Pembrey. South Wales. Th

Only came across this hidden cafe with a community spirited hostess on our way back to South Wales & were smitten by how friendly and accommodating they were. If anyone in your group has a hidden need, for example avoiding cafes with a cabinet full of coca cola cans, Croes y Ceiliog at Llanwrda has the solution, making you feel like a family member. Their tasty home made food too = return visit a definite!

Called in here at the weekend for a takeaway meal to enjoy on the beach, the food was far better than I expected, thought this was just a greasy spoon but I was very wrong. The cake especially was lovely. Will definitely be spending more of my money here rather than st elli bay from now on.

Lovely setting and decor. Friendly and accommodating staff. All the family, 6 adults and 3 kids, had Sunday roast dinner and pudding. Food very tasty and plenty of it especially the gravy. Will have no hesitation in returning to Caffi Traeth. Excellent.
