ChiQizza in St Albans

We ordered pizza delivery at home from ChiKizza using the online service. Just two pizzas, around £25, come to £31 when the extras were added. Watch out for those. The automated service told us it would be 45-60 minutes. After it has taken 80 minutes, I rang them to say the order was running late, the person answering told me it would be another ten minutes and put the phone down. No apology or manners. He hadn't asked me for a name or my order number and my phone number was not the one I used when ordering. Amazingly, it was only 10 minutes more before the pizzas arrived. Thick crust, not thin crust, as ordered. So, if you are looking for the wrong order delivered very slowly with poor customer service, let me recommend ChiKizza, you will be delighted.

Absolutely the best kebab munchy box in St Albans Lots of meat, plenty of chips and salad and perfect heat for the chilli sauce. Add in a slice of garlic bread and it’s a winner every night of the week - also, very reasonably priced.

Had a calzone and chicken strips. Food was excellent. Very well prepared, delivered hot, looked great and taste delicious!

Would be zero if I could..... Absolutely terrible, think it may be the worst takeaway I’ve ever had, wish I’d taken photos now, but they wouldn’t do the appalling meal justice...... So dry and really under portioned. The beef wasn’t real meat, everything was overcooked but also cold. Took ages for the delivery..... just don’t have one thing positive to say I’m afraid, total waste of money - wouldn’t give a refund either!

A lot of kids use this shop, including mine. I found out from my son that he always has an issue getting his change off of one particular employee. It turns out a lot of the kids let it go or had not been checking their change but now see that he rounds everything up. When my son challenged him he told him "so what, you don't need it" and another time "does it really matter?" This is disgusting behaviour and if he is doing it to them all, all the time, it all adds up. So along with what I see as crappy food, they're taking advantage of kids. Ranging from 1p-51p might not seem enough to worry about its still theft.

I read reviews for this place (mostly bad, thought I’d try anyway) before ordering as i wanted something quick and this is next to my house. Delivery fast (live 5 minutes away) and chips and salad were lovely. Burger was warm when arrived and chicken was nice BUT the whole burger was absolutely drenched in sauce! I asked for lemon and herb grilled burger the bottom bun was so soggy that it was not eatable. I think I will avoid this place in the future but if you do go here please ask for no sauce as the reviews are not lying. Also quite hard to communicate by phone

I had a pizza from here recently, and it was greasy to the point where it was slightly offputting to eat. The chicken is alright, but not much to write home about. There's better places for both, nearby.

So disappointed. waited an hour and fifty minutes for our food to be delivered, chicken wrap meals that were all wrap and very little chicken and the chips were the worst I’ve ever tasted in my life! They were completely inedible. Gutted. Cant believe I waited all that time for food only fit for the bin! Can of Coke was the only decent thing. Won’t be using again

Ordered kids meal from here. When food came, the chicken was pink and undercooked. I called to tell them and the guy said" it's not pink' we serve 150 meals a day and I know it's not pink." I told him I'm looking at the chicken and it's pink. He then said" what do you want me to about it?" I told him I wanted a refund and he became very annoyed. He told me he had to speak to the manager. When asked to speak to the manager he put the phone down. I called back and the guy said he's going to refund me and once again put the phone down. Absolutely poor service. Do not bother ordering.

Ordered today for family gathering and food came I ate a slice hot and tasted terrible, cheese was like mash. Served both hot and cold to which still tasted terrible and my family would not eat it too. When I politely rang to ask if they use cheese he said they do and than began to tell me how I ate my food and why it tasted like that because I reheated it when I clearly didn't and not once mentioned that I had reheated it He also began to argue with me and tell me he did not care if I ordered again Terrible service and very disappointed how some one could speak to a customer like that, only tip they will get from me is to learn how to talk to your customers!

Only issue I have had is being quoted 45mins-1hr for delivery which was fine as I was out and on way home then received a phone call after 30mins asking where I was!! The food however is amazing.

Had a medium thin crust pizza with veggie toppings and stuffed crust. The pizza was really good and the toppings were generous. I was really surprised! It was delivered quickly too. I would definitely order from Chiqizza again instead of my usual Cheers, as it's cheaper and tastes better.

Great food. Very helpful over the phone. Overall very satisfied with the order and would definitely recommend to others.

Yet again, the pizzas were what dreams are made of. Slightly longer on the delivery this time but the food always makes up for it. Big up yourselves Chiqizza👊🏽

The portions was too big The chicken burger had weird herbs in the breadcrumbs - I just thought it would be a normal chicken burger but I was soooooo wrong!!😳

Usually good but recently our orders have been wrong or missing things. Bacon cheese burger arrived with no bacon or cheese and one of our tacos had hardly any meat in it. I wouldn't normally mind but it's becoming a regular thing now.

We live 5mins from them, but food took over an hour to arrive, was cold and was not good quality.

I would normally wouldn't wanna order just because of mayo being watery but this time it was thick and I'm gonna be ordering much more often

Have ordered hot wings, tacos and texas calzone...all arrived hot and tasty. Very friendly delivery drivers as well. Would recommend and will order from here again.

Have used these guys for a while now and you get quick polite service, food is amazing and it shows they take effort to prepare the food well, they have recently changed their pizza base to square it's great!

We order from here regularly as the Mexican bits are lovely fresh and spicy - and the burgers are proper feasts for a naughty treat. The delivery is quick - the only annoyance is when you order a drink its pot luck - I like Diet Coke and always order it but often get Pepsi, full fat coke or something else and the delivery guy dashes off before we can check. Will continue to order food but will skip drinks in future as it's irritating!

We ordered from CHiqizza for the first time on New Year's Day 9pm. Very friendly man answered the phone. This is always a little more reassuring when ordering from somewhere for the first time. They delivered to us within 30 mins and found our home straight away unlike many other delivery/ takeaway places. The order was correct and still really hot. The food it's self was of a good quality. The kids seem to really enjoy it too. Would definitely order from them again. Well done. 👍🏼

I order like 2 times a week now that's how good it is, always nice clean food, chips are never too greasy or anything always perfect and the enchilada and bbq wings are the best in town

Worst food i had in years. Stone hard chicken, overcooked and disgusting. Very rude delivery driver. After complaint was promised free food on next order as a gesture of good will. Unfortunately next day they have refused to take our order as expected. Will never order from this place again.

was really disappointed I use this takeaway really frequently and today the food came cold , they forgot any kind of sauce so the chips were cold and tasteless,ice cream came like liquid it was so melted and they took an 1 and 15 mins to deliver with no apology, first time ive been disappointed but they could of been a bit apologetic

Never seen a calzone pizza like it, it didn't disappoint with the amount of filling, a bit to much going on, maybe use more premium ingredients

It's the first time we ordered a takeaway form ChiQizza and it will be the last. We waited for 1hr 40 minutes for our food to arrive. We had to ring them several times to find out where our order was, we were told we would be called back once they had spoken to the driver, no one called us back. The food was ok, chicken nuggets were overlooked and not very nice. They did give us a couple of free items but it didn't really make up for waiting that long, a refund would of been a sign of good customer service.

Food is ok. But the delivery time is abysmal. I would avoid it if you want food in under an hour and 45 mins.

Gave me the wrong drink and forgot to give me any sauce
