25 minute wait for horrible greasy fish and flaccid chips. Place looks grubby too. Drive to Sudbury..its quicker for sure. We wont be back.

Worst services I have ever seen in my life called 45 minutes ahead told to collect at 7 stood outside till half 7 and left on the phone for 9 minutes so really there was no need for a collection time. If you can handle the amount of orders you’ve got then pause taking them for a while. Got the food home chicken balls were like a rock. Don’t get how you can get so wrong one place I’ll never go back to

Was very pleased with our fish & chips , they were freshly cooked , while we waited and were delicious. Fish was perfect with very nice crispy batter , and piping hot crispy chips too !. Would recommend.

Ordered 2 large spring rolls, they were greasy and soft, dripping with oil, just terrible. The ribs were overdone and like chewing on leather, so bad we binned them as there was hardly any meat left.. sweet and sour pork balls were overdone and again soft and very oily. The chow mein was probably the most passable dish but unfortunately the whole order was a spoilt experience, I would never order from there again!

Meal for two fed three of us fit to burst! Good tasty food, good value and only 25 minutes from phone call to pickup on Saturday evening. This is our nearest Chinese Takeaway and really pleased when they added it back onto the Fish and Chips menu.

We were staying in Long Melford for the Week-end and indulged in a Take-away for Saturday supper and luckily Chips 'n' Chopstix with it's extensive menu choice had the combined menu to suit us both in one shop - King Prawn Curry with additional fried rice for myself (masses of prawns and very tasty) and pie and chips for my OH which went down very well, not the cheapest but defininately worth it in taste..... Just wished we lived closer!

I've been here a number of times when I go up to Long Melford to visit my mother. The fish and chips are cooked to order so are really fresh. I've not had any of the chinese menu, so I can't vouch for that.

The worse Chinese i have had. I ordered lamb in plum sauce i got lamb with chunks of pineapple it was horrid, the chips were just a soggy mess, and the delivery charge was expensive i will never have it again. My hubby did like his salt n pepper squid only thing that was edible

went twice in the week to test it out. . fish and chips were good. . cant say very good. . for very good either the fish or chips need to be great. . they were both good. .. . and had a huge Chinese order from here a few days later. . . it was actually good. . . to very good. . . oh and the girls working there are so nice and totally on top of everything as well as being very professional. . . will be back . .

Being a London boy; i have had to many chippies to pick; so we are use to the best, this little chippy is cracking the cook it hot to order so even 10mins later its steaming hot, the Chinese attached is top draw too

Been here twice now for takeaway fish and chips and just chips. The fish is ok but the chips were tasteless and soggy both times. Definitely not for me.

Ha cambiado de manos recientemente y ahora ofrece un menú completo de China así como el típico pescado y patatas fritas. Pescado y patatas fritas siempre han sido buenos como este es nuestro local chippie y recientemente probado la comida china en un par de veces. Este fue en general muy buena con las bolas de cerdo no grasienta y carne no grasos. Rollitos de primavera también estaban bien, pero un poco grasienta. Otros platos principales eran la única queja era el arroz sabroso parecía ser simplemente que no era lo que estaba anunciado en nuestra primera visita, así que el personal amablemente bajó el precio de nuestra orden en la segunda visita.

Aunque no tenemos una tienda de pescado y patatas fritas en el pueblo donde vivimos, en realidad vienen a Long Melford como el pescado y las patatas fritas aquí es tan bueno. Personal amable, el pescado más kilómetros y las patatas fritas también están bien. Lo recomiendo altamente. (No he probado la comida para llevar china.

Bastante para llevar chino asqueroso. Pedí tortitas de pato. Tuve que tirar en la papelera, así que muy difícil no pude conseguir el pato del hueso hecha era insuficiente. Me quejé por teléfono como no podía ser molestado en ir todo el camino de vuelta, sin embargo, me dan un reembolso cuando regresé una semana después

Hemos tenido pescado y patatas tres veces desde este lugar ahora. El pescado es siempre fresco y bien preparado, las patatas fritas crujientes y no grasosa y el guisantes blandos son muy sabrosos. Buscando otros comentarios recientes parece un poco impredecible. No es para nosotros, y que es exigente! El pescado y las patatas fritas están mejor aquí que en un restaurante muy pijo en la carretera que ofrecen pescado y patatas fritas para llevar en una noche de jueves. Cabe mencionar nombres, pero gente no saben donde probablemente me refiero.

The take away was not too busy, but had too wait too long for a basic cod and chips, which when I got home were good, but when the previous regime where there , half the staff and better service!God knows what's going to happen when the new Chinese menu will kick in

Recently changed hands and very disappointing!!!Prices hiked up and fish portion sizes reduced for example a large piece of cod is barely a medium ...Hardly any fare cooked on show unless you want the odd battered sausage and on several visits have waited over 20 minutes to collect only to be disappointed by crap chips and minute fish portions - Cant cook savaloys either!!! We live in Long Melford and frankly like most locals now its well worth the drive to the Codfather in Sudbury where the fresh fish and fare is fried, and served by professionals plus exceptionally good value coupled with a brilliant service.Such a shame .....

Reasonably priced and some of the best rock eel I have tasted in a long while. Expect a bit of a wait as they are very popular with locals but the food IS worth the wait

After 2 recent visits and new people working inside the quality has suffered.Soggy batter and cod not the same.Chips awful.Very sad that this one has slipped in to bottom ranking chippies now in Sudbury.

The location is very convenient as its right in the heart of the village but as for the fayre: average I think. Still, for a quick and easy fix of takeaway food that's not a bad thing. Service is always polite ( if you are ! ) and prices are as usual for the area. Some seating for waiting customers and plenty of room to stand when busy . Open sometimes when un expected , that is holiday times etc. Menu could be a little more varied but as said its a quick fix so why bother.

With no takeaway in our own village this is our chippy of choice. Having tried most of the offerings in Sudbury as well we have settled on this as our favourite. It's your traditional fayre which is always well cooked and tasty and service is always great.Try it you won't be disappointed.

I usually have a fish and chip take away when visiting Kentwell Hall. Never been dissapointed yet, great taste and very good value.

We enjoyed our fish and chips , we had fish and chips twice here and on both occasions the fish was lovely the chips were good and the mushy peas lovely. Would eat here again if ever we visit Long Melford.
