Found this restaurant by the off chance . And it was lovely everything was fresh and tasty. The staff were attentive we will definitely be back .

Popped in to this restaurant last night. Staff were very pleasant and the food was great! We had chicken madras, chicken dhansak, bhindi bhaji, boiled rice and a garlic and chilli naan. The food was not swimming in oil, the naan bread was light and fluffy (not doughy!), everything tasted freshly cooked and perfectly spiced. The added bonus, very reasonably priced! Would highly recommend.

Having not long been living in the area I decided to give this restaurant a try. It was very early evening so I was the only customer apart from a few people who came in to wait for and collect take-away meals. So I can't really comment on the general atmosphere but the young man who served me was pleasant and efficient, and the food was good. Will need to return here to taste one or two different dishes and when hopefully more tables are occupied and there will hopefully be a better vibe.

We have had a takeaway twice from Chinipan - the food was really tasty and excellent value, and when we went in person to order and pick up they were very friendly, gave lollipops to our children and gave us extra poppadoms! They also do a 15% discount on menu price for non-delivered takeaway. We will definitely be back to Chinipan soon!

Top class food and drinks at value for money prices We normally visit restaurants on the busy Trafalgar Road and as we were visiting the Blackheath Standard ( in anticipation of the Green Godess opening) we thought we would try Chinipan. We hadn’t been for a number of years and we’re pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and service. I had the salmon tikka starter and it was cooked to perfection with a tasty blackened outer skin and the inside just right. The prices were unusually inexpensive, especially for drinks. We were concerned that this would be reflected in the quality of the food/ drink but this wasn’t the case. The staff we super friendly and we got the impression they were trying to increase their customer base in the local area. I can imagine being the only restaurant in the standard, since Sun Ya only does takeaways, has been very difficult.

The food was really lovely and the service was great. Would definitely recommend the lamb shank, this was amazing.

I tried Chinipan for the first time last night, and it definitely won't be the last. My friend and I got a few sharing plates, and the food really was delicious. The three gentlemen working in the restaurant were lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. See you again soon :)

Tried Chinipan for the first time last night with a friend who loves his curry and they did not disappoint. The staff were lovely and the food was delicious. I had the Green tandoori chicken and my pal had the chicken jalfrezi with mushroom rice and saag paneer, absolutely delicious. Sorry it has taken so long to visit, we shall be back!

Lovely food, friendly staff. Have visited a few times now with two six year olds. We love the paratha and the tarkha dahl, I enjoy the Chinipan Chicken which they happily made with paneer instead as I’m trying to reduce the amount of meat I eat. Would recommend for a relaxed unpretentious meal anytime, especially as they are great with children.

A very family friendly Indian restaurant. Excellent service for a group of 10. Food was delicious, especially the fresh naan breads. Catered for the children with non-spicy salmon and chicken tikka.

Just had our first meal from Chinpan tonight. Take away order over the phone was easy and the gentleman polite. Food was ready fast and was still piping hot when we got it home. It was also delicious! And the three staff members with whom we interacted were all highly courteous, welcoming and pleasant.

Six of us went for a meal the food was amazing the customer service was impeccable three of the company had a desert that didn’t taste right the staff were straight on it replaced the deserts and took the others off the bill it was definitely value for money and we will be going back again.

I would totally recommend. The quality of the food was outstanding. My brother and I received excellent customer service from the representatives of the restaurant and will definitely be back.

We discovered chinipan on Uber eats during lockdown, having enjoyed it so much, it was time to finally visit in person, and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious as always, and couldn’t fault the service, the staff were very accommodating. Would love to see more people here, as it’s a little off the beaten track on the standard, so absolutely worth the detour for such lovely food. Will definitely be back / ordering delivery again.
