Chinese Food Centre in Mendip

This is a very busy Chinese takeaway. As Pershore gets bigger, and only here and golden dragon 🐉 as options. Cash only With wait time given over phone, suggest you add 10 mins plus+ some, and then arrive to collect. Food good 👍 Collection only. No Chinese 🇨🇳 does deliveries in pershore (yet).

Since being taken over, the food has been excellent, consistantly. Friendly service. Cash only is a pain but acceptable. Food available in the usual '20 minutes'. Parking nearby pretty poor but not their fault. Worth a try. Has become OUR Chinese take away.

Appalling food and terrible value for money. £5.70 for prawn toast. Attitude of staff shocking when I questioned the price. He then talked about me to the next customer as I left.

This Chinese has been in Pershore as long as I remember…. Many years, in church street. I use this one and golden dragon Cantonese. It’s cash only in Chinese food centre as far as I know

Excellent. We were on barge, had chow mein and chicken curry. Its was the best I've ever tasted, and reasonably priced so much so we called on our return. £28 for 4 meals.

Terrible food Special curry and boiled rice Spare ribs Portion of mushrooms Special curry was just curry sauce with a few bits of rubbery meat Rice was way over cooked and stodgy Ribs were dry and tasteless Mushrooms were well past three best and rubbery

A great takeaway that’s consistently brilliant. Always fresh and always tasty. I’d highly recommend the Chicken and Cashew nuts in Yellow Bean Sauce, but everything we’ve ordered has been amazing.

...then the Chinese Food Centre (the least Chinese named takeaway we have ever used!) is one to try. Really good Chinese food but the chicken chow mein is to die for. The usual ‘twenty minutes’ when you order and the food is always piping hot when you get it home. Try the chicken and sweet corn soup...it is really yummy. We also had beef in black bean sauce and the beef was really good quality. Reasonably priced and friendly when you arrive. Might be a good idea to price up your order before you collect though for two reasons...firstly they only take cash and secondly...they are not always good at adding up!

Good Chinese takeaway, been using this place for years. Never any complaints about the quality of the food, just feel that portion sizes have shrunk, particularly the main dishes. When you order, everything is quoted as 20 minutes but realistically it’s a little longer.

I’ve been going here for nearly 40 years, I’ve tried the rest now try the best . Great service although can be a little longer wait but worth waiting for. Unfortunately only except cash . Takeaway only.

I was really surprised no trip advisor listing reviews, as the Chinese Food centre in Church Street been open since I was a teen and I'm 50 now! Sometimes the pickup time can be off so don't worry if you are late turning up.
