We decided to try this take away after seeing it in the ratings in the Essex Chronicle. We were definitely not disappointed! We have tried virtually every Chinese in Chelmsford and have finally found what we have been looking for - great food, served hot at reasonable prices!! Will be our regular point of call from now on and would recommend to everyone 😊😊😊

Ordered at 6.20pm and did not receive delivery until 8.20pm. Not only was the delivery late but they had left out prawn crackers which was a paid addition! Called them to let them know and was told the driver would return... still waiting 🙁

The crispy Mongolian lamb was super-tasty, the crispy aromatic duck too, deep fried aubergines and roast pork chow mein yummy, the bonus was the availability of Thai dishes. Moorish food, need to go on a diet again! :))

Chinese food 4U is great! I've come here a few times now and almost every time me and my family have enjoyed our food! I just had a party on Saturday and ordered over £50 worth of food, my family and friends throughly enjoyed it and what was great was that I entitled a free dish as I spent more then £45. I would definitely recommend this! Free delivery too!

I ordered a king prawn chow mein takeaway for myself and husband. Phone answered promptly and efficient clear speaking polite staff. Made my order and she said would be about 30mins. Arrived very punctually, friendly girl at door. The food was correctly and beautifuly cooked fresh tasting and not as greasy as many takeaways.Reasonable priced too. Very good 1st impression. Will use again. Highly recommend.

Come down to Chelmsford for a reunion with friends from university, didn't really decide where or what food to get but luckily we had a menu from this take-away. Didn't take long for food to arrive ( about 40 mins ) and have to say the food was delicious! We even got a free dish but probably because we spent £70+. Apologies for the bad grammar but it is a quick review. Essentially the dishes are tasty and very good value. The manager is also very friendly and seems like she really enjoys her job!

Called up this take-away and had my order taken quickly and accurately, the food was delivered to my house in just over 30 minutes and the quality of the dishes are excellent. This is my first-choice take-away and would recommend it to anyone living in Chelmsford.

Went as part of a group of 18 to celebrate a 60th Wedding Anniversary. Wine list was on table so ordered two bottles of Prosecco and a bottle of Chilean white. Was brought a bottle of champagne which I explained was not what I had ordered. I was then told they only had two bottles of Prosecco, one of which was a Rose. Next my bottle of white wine arrived but it was not what I had ordered. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the situation and was told that a recent change of ownership meant that some of the wines listed were no longer available. I said that really was not acceptable. Why on earth put the wine lists on the tables if they know that many of the wines are not actually available. I was then offered some bottles of wine to choose from. One of the bottles offered to me was a Chenin Blanc which is the ASDA Extra Special Chenin Blanc retailing for £7 in the local ASDA store less than a 100 yards from the restaurant. I believe that it is a potential breach of their alcohol licence to sell bottles of wine bought from a local supermarket. I also think that ASDA would not be happy if they knew their wine was being sold in a local restaurant. Whilst all this was going on nobody bothered to ask us if we were ready to order our food - my wife had to go and ask somebody to come and take the order. A lady, who I presume is the manager, kept a very low profile whilst all this was going on instead of taking charge of the situation. Later during the meal I was told that they had "found" two more bottles pf Prosecco. Will never return to this place for a dine in meal.

Our regulars Chinese and always delicious. Last night was particularly amazing. The chicken balls were the best I’ve ever eaten, cooked perfectly with lots of crispy and no doughy bits.

Jesus the Chinese takeaways in chelmsford are poor, and this one must be very close to the bottom of the list, which is weird because it used to be.... okay, just okay. Decided to order from here again and it's like they decided to cook my beef dish in the puddle at the front of the shop. The sauce was soo runny it may as well have just been water.... well it was just water, muddy brown, tasteless water. Pic as proof. Boiled beef, boiled mushrooms, boiled onions. Revolting. Why not take some pride in your food, maybe you'll get returning customers. Never again, save your money. You're better off eating poor Chinese microwave meals from a supermarket. They're awful too but at least they're cheaper. Yet another terrible chinese restaurant in Chelmsford.
