Chinese dragon in Allerdale

Absolutely vile food, should have read the reviews £28 went down the drain as everything landed in the bin Food arrived nearly 2 hours since placing the order, obviously cold Chips were cooked probably a month ago, REVOLTING I will be asking for the hygiene rating to be reviewed, this place should be shut

Ordered throw Food Hub. I have no idea what the meat was, but it wasn't pork as ordered. Very dark and gamey. I threw it away after a few bites.

Ordered off food hub, had to phone up after 1hour 20 to see where delivery was, was told they had set off and would be there in 5 mins to receive a call 10 minutes later saying they don't usually deliver to my address so did I have £3 to pay the driver direct! Obviously agreed to pay this as starving but food was still another 15 minutes before it arrived. Shouldn't allow foodhub orders to then charge more and take even longer to arrive!

I was looking forward to my Chinese as I had hardly eaten all day, and not since lunchtime. Our take away arrived around 8pm. I felt off afterwards but put it down to being full. It is now half one in the morning and after half a dozen trips to the ladies room and a very poorly tummy I will never order from this takeaway again, there was nothing else that I have eaten that could have made me poorly. I generally consider myself to have an iron stomach, I never get diahorrea, so there must have been something really nasty in there. I will look for a 5 star hygiene rating in the future rather than this 3 'satisfactory', or just make my own.

Ordered a large salt and pepper box, meant to include 8 chicken balls we only received 2. Food was cold, chips tasted of oven chips and there was no salt and pepper on anything at all, was completely bland. Curry Sauce tasted of salt and smelt like cleaning products. Ordered a Diet Coke which was 2 months out of date.

I did not visit the restaurant. I had takeaway from this restaurant at my parents home thisevening. I felt I had to post a review as I'm seriously concerned about the level of salt/msg in these meals. Myself and my mother could only eat half of ours as the taste of the food was drowned out by pure salt. I am a big user of salt and msg, but even for me this was inedible and I am left feeling unwell !

Absolutely disgusting food 🤢 Burnt Special fried rice, burnt rice, burnt meat that a fork couldn’t even pick up. Satay chicken looked like something the cat brought back up, split sauce, again burnt chicken that we couldn’t even get off the skewers. Waste of money. Won’t be returning, going back to our usual Chinese, no idea why we decided to try this poor excuse of a Chinese takeaway.

Had a meal today, my meal was tasteless, my husband had a curry which he said just tasted like it had a pile of salt in it, needless to say the menu has been shredded and we will not be going back.

3/4 of a portion. Meats dry and minimal, very little "sauce" with meals. Flavourless. Took twice quoted waiting time to arrive, and was incredibly disappointing when it finally got here. Never again in this life or the next.

meal was ok but found that chicken was big pieces but more onions than noodles other than that I suppose it was a meal as there was nothing else close at hand

Ordered food and the woman on the phone didn't understand anything i said and asked for the numbers corresponding the items on the menu. After a difficult phone call i went to collect it and checked it on the counter and they hadn't given me what i had ordered. When i confronted them about it i was told that's what they had written down and they wouldn't remake anything or offer a refund and was told tough basically. The items they had gotten right was disgusting and poor quality. Poor food and poor customer service - Avoid!

Order chili and garlic chicken and salt n pepper chips but just full of carrot,onion,could see spice and caused garlic but somehow flavour wasn't there really disappointed. The order arrived really quick but due to lack of flavour won't be back what a waste of cash even the free salt n pepper chicken had no spice either God knows how they cooked it all

Actually wanted a sit down chinese, but the one opposite was shut down, so a happy accident to find this. Food was good.

We ordered 5 meals at o'clock ,10.30 still no sign of our order. Tried to contact via phone but constantly engaged... No meal.. Will never contact again... disgusting..

Had chefs choice special with veg. So tasty and packed full of mixed meats and prawns. Will certainly go back.
