Chinese Chop Suey House in Middlesbrough

Any reviews above 1 star must have been submitted by the owners. Terrible food, this is not Chinese food. Absolutely rubbish. I have rated this 1 star only because I can’t give it anything lower.

Really is the best Chinese. Fast, friendly, quantity and quality is amazing and well priced even in the cost of living crisis. Only ever go here if they are closed ( which is the only downside they close early at 21:30) I will not go to another Chinese. Recommend.

Regularly eating Chinese provinces dishes, near by my place so Visited this takeway four times, ordered same food item" roasted duck in chinese style", contain in the items disappeared in my last two ordered and taste nothing like a authentic Chinese roast duck, feel like cheated .

Only complaint is that it closes a bit early at. 9.30pm otherwise the food is the best Chinese I've had in Reading & just as other reviews say fast friendly service at reasonable prices 👌👍

Absolutely amazing!! We have recently moved from Woodley to reading and this Chinese is amazing. Quick service and delicious food, first time I’ve ever asked for crispy beef and actually received crispy beef! Not a soggy mess, and the curry sauce is amazing! Highly recommend, me and my family will be back again

Ordered BBQ Spare ribs,Szechuan King Prawn,and BBQ Pork with mushrooms.Spare ribs were tough and chewy,and mostly fat,in a very tasteless BBQ sauce.The Szechuan prawns (7 of them!),were in a weak sauce,mostly filled with vegetables.I thought Szechuan had a bit of a bite to it?The BBQ Pork,well much the same;fatty pork (bar-b-cued?),in a weak,tasteless sauce,filled out with slimy mushrooms and onions! Not a good experience in the least! Why do we put up with being served such poor quality food by these takeaways?Chinese food it is not! Only thing good:prompt delivery!

The best (imo) chinese takeaway in West Reading and probably all of Reading. Food is great and service is very friendly. Plus they open on Mondays. No delivery service but it is worth the trip there to get your food!

I have been having their chicken curry since I was 10 I'm now 45 and it's still the best chicken curry I have ever had from a chinese

As many others have said, by far the best Chinese food in the local area. I have used this takeaway regularly for 20 years and never had a bad meal. I am shocked that anyone has left a 1 Star review, I suppose anyone can have an off-day but I really wonder if they've got the right place. Keep up the good work CSH 👍

Best Chinese takeaway in Reading. Curries are excellent- recommend the chicken and beef curries. Friendly staff and clean premises on Oxford Road. Ordering by phone is quick and efficient, believe you can pay contactless now? Excellent.

tI don't know where all you get your five star from this is my first and last time at this is it not happy at all. People say best curry house in reading don't know we're they got it from but wasn't here. Worst food ever
