China Town in Melton

My absolute favourite Chinese in Melton!!! I absolutely love the satay sauce and the salt&pepper tofu, they have it down to a fine art. The chow mein, spring rolls and sesame prawn toast are also delectable. They are very reasonably priced, always lovely down the phone, very quick service, fresh and hot and tasty food - and I have NEVER had an issue like a missed item or something being cooked wrong. I consistently go back to China Town, a few weeks go by and I'm craving again!! Incredible takeaway, please don't ever change your recipes :) thank you.

Usually enjoy food from China Town, but not tonight. Spring rolls were okay, egg fried rice was okay. The chicken in the lemon chicken was dry and hard. The pork in the sweet & sour pork balls was chewy. I shouldn't comment on the prawn crackers as they were free, but they were tasteless. All in all £20 wasted

By Far the best Chinese in Melton. I've been going for years and never had a problem. Great food and generous portions.

Very bland and average. Not recommended. My warning was that the food was ready way too quickly, so obviously not freshly prepared at all. Also, the staff were unbelievably rude on the phone to another customer. Can't see these being in business for very long! You can do better, even in Melton!!

The staff/woman on the phone was so rude and disrespectful and hung up on me mid order. i had ordered from there before a year prior and because my house doesn’t have a specific number i was denied service, even when a) i have ordered with them before, and b) i provided a postcode and every other service is able to find the house. absolutely ridiculous & appalling service.

The fact that the order was ready within minutes made be wonder about the quality of the food! It was ok but terribly bland/boring. Filled a hole but not much more.

Nipped in on a Friday evening to order a take away, though we would be waiting ages as the takeaway was busy with telephone orders and deliver drivers. We only waited around 20 minutes food was cooked fresh and was really tasty.

Highly recommended, great flavour, well priced and excellent delivery time. Only downfall is cash on delivery. I’ve tried a lot of dishes and nothing disappointed.

It the only Chinese takeaway i use Food is always hot Plus if I want to order a bigger size of one of Meals they are happy to do so So I can share with my little boy The delivery people they use are always friendly and polite And when given time for delivery they are sonetime earlier then said Can't fault them

As a rule, I don't like Chinese, but this food is really tasty. We ordered in advance, so it was ready to pick up when we arrived, but very pricey

My brother and I popped in for a take out after a movie. The food was ordered, ready in about 10 minutes, and the service was friendly. The food was very good. I will definitely go back again.

Good Chinese takeaway with good food

Friendly fast service, tasty food and a reasonable price. We had the sweet and sour chicken balls with pork fried rice with a side order of pancake rolls. Huge portion sizes! The free mini spring rolls as well as the usual prawn crackers were a nice touch! Will definitely use China House again.

I didn't get what I order and everything was ugly

We moved to Melton November 2019 and after Christmas we tried two Chinese takeaways sadly they didn't meet our expectations 😢 My Hubbie loves Chinese, then lock down happened, 🙄 although tonight we tried China Town 😁 and I have praise the delivery man who was funny and friendly 😀 The food was absoultly delicious 😋 we are full and happy... Thank you China Town 👍

Tried to order a delivery from China Town tonight and they rejected me paying by debit card over the phone, have the menu with me tht clearly says: “No cheques, we accept most Credit & Debit cards” Lucky for me happy House didn’t show the same megative attitude.

i know chips arnt a chinese dish but from here they are horrible, just a lot of "bits" and over cooked...if you are going to offer any dish at least make it to an average standard. their chinese food is fine.
