Had a really nice takeout from here last night. It was ready in good time, really fresh and really tasty. Would 100% recommend

Never ever had a issue, I order probably about once a fortnight, food is hot and comes quick, big portions and tastes good. Recommend the special fried rice and duck in plum sauce :)

Love it my regular now won't ho any where else

First time ordering,1st mistake on my meal as i ordered the shredded crispy chicken value box,with chips,it came with a red sauce on that was inedible,i was going to have some of my husbands curry sauce on it.My husband had beef curry,after eating half of it,he felt sick,not only the beef was slimy,and chunks of large and small bits of beef,no care given in the preparation. pineapple fritters were nice. My husband had been to the toilet 5 times and felt ill all day,I rang the shop to complain,and was met by poorly English speaking Chinese. Didn’t get that I was complaining initially,after me ranting they did,I eventually got a person who I could understand and who tried to help. The boss argued at first over my meal as i had options for sauce,which I didn’t,I wanted plain shredded crispy chicken. She eventually admitted that they put sauce on anyway so offered to send me another meal,I requested a refund,then I spoke about my husbands curry.told fresh meat and fresh sauce that night,so no refund.I then I had a taste of what was left and it was sweet,I knew instantly what was wrong. My husband is diabetic,and had a gastric bypass so sweet things make him very ill,so rang back,after hearing the owner ranting that fresh everything so no,and chef saying yes sugar in the curry sauce,I said I wanted a refund for that. She came on the phone and said that every Chinese uses sugar in there curry sauce,which I know to be false as sugar is expensive,so they use cheaper options like honey,which also acts as a thickener,and you can’t tell it’s there.There is no note or indication that they use sugar in their curry sauce on the menu,so very misleading. I replied that he only ever has curry as it has no sugar in it,he can’t have peking,sweet and sour,Cantonese,etc.she said I should have put on the notes that he was diabetic,I replied that I wasn’t aware that the sauce had sugar in,as we were recommended to them through a friend who knows his health issues. She refused to refund the beef curry,so top and bottom of this review is,only order if you aren’t bothered about losing your money,as regardless that they make mistakes,serve substandard food,customer service is diabolical,owners atttitude is disgusting,they clearly don’t care about the customers,only how much they spend. Typical greedy Chinese. Night botyheres jn the slightest that I only ha pineapple fritters for my tea last night and the beef curry went down the loo and in the bin? I certainly won’t be using you again. I recommend that all the money you are gaining,you have elocution lessons, and book yourselves intro charm school. The reality is that it is the customers that is what keeps your business open. Try appreciating that!! My reply is-None of your food is consumable!

China Red is my local Chinese takeaway and I honestly love the food from here. We always get collection and the staff are really friendly and welcoming. The portion sized are great and the food tastes amazing. Would highly recommend the salt & pepper chips with curry sauce!

The worst Chinese I’ve ever had!!! Special curry was disgusted and tasted like it had been made about a month ago and reheated. The meat was like dog food! We also had a mixed starter of ribs sesame toast seaweed and wings. All awful again and reheated garbage

Now this place need closing down never in my hole life had a curry that tastes like it's had a bag of sugar tipped in it

Ordered food on Christmas Eve for delivery at 7:30 it was delivered spot on time ,was hot and delicious . Excellent value for money .First time we have used them but will definitely recommend them .

First of all if I could give 10 stars would. China red you diamonds. If I was on death row this would be my last meal. Best chicken chow mein that has touched my lips. Food absolutely vile first time ordering never again £26.10 down the drain what a waste and when adding all the items up it come up cheaper but they charged all that the beef was horrendous like rubber the chicken in the chicken chow mein was horrible the rice had no taste at all all the food going in the bin

My Wife and I definitely to have our first Chinese takeaway since this Covid 19 malarkey started, so we decided to order from a Chinese takeaway about 3 miles away from our Gaff, the takeaway is named China Red located in Butt Lane, we are in Alsager so not too far away. Well have never ordered from here before we took a chance to order only because they delivered, so we ordered chicken fried rice and a Beef Chow main and Banana fritters in Batter, all I can say is that we were not disappointed. The portions was plenty enough for 4 persons and it was delicious, do much so we saved the rest till tomorrow nights Dinner there was plenty all at the price of 18 pounds you cannot go wrong for the price, when scrolling through the menu by Google it also said Red China has a hygiene rating of 3 out of 5 which would of put us off if it was a 2 or below we both were not disappointed, it was very tasty and arrived on time as the person who took our order said 40 minutes intact it was at our Gaff in 22 minutes piping hot. So if anyone is thinking of trying a different Chinese take away other than Alsager why not give it a go. If I was going to rate the food and service I would put a big fat 8 out of 10 and that's an honest opinion. Good luck all and if last nights food was to go by I would definitely order from Red China again.

Revolting, Thai green curry was slimy and thick and stunk! Had to throw it all in the bin! Definitely would not recommend.

So disappointed! Ordered a few dishes, but the chicken in the black bean sauce was unlike anything I've seen before in my life!!! The texture was like vasaline.. Looked like it was just fat, but wasn't...maybe they cook it a different way, but never seen it before!! 😵

If I could give less than one star I would. Order was delivered late and when you pay £4 for delivery you expect better, but that wasn’t the worst part of our experience. The order was delivered with a missing item, when we called the takeaway we were told it would be delivered, it never arrived. Therefore we paid for something we didn’t receive. We also ordered mini vegetable spring rolls as one of us doesn’t eat meat, however on the first bite it became very clear the spring rolls had meat in them! The satay king prawn skewers hadn’t seen a peanut. I don’t know what the sauce on the skewers was but it certainly wasn’t satay. All the other food was okay but nothing to write home about. This was the first time we’d used this takeaway and we certainly won’t be using it again!! Disappointing.

I ordered 2 starters and a Thai Green Curry. The spicy fish cakes were small, flat and rubbery. Like something you'd find in a frozen packet from Findus. The pork dumplings had almost been cooked but they seemed to have lost their enthusiasm and escaped before being browned in the pan. And the Curry was like a cup-a-soup. Would I order a meal from there again? No. Save your money. Go and buy something in a packet fom you local supermarket. It will taste better. It was so bad I threw it all away and walked in the rain to get something else.

I tried couple of times.. dishes are superb taste and very quick and good service
