The order took over two hours to arrive and they changed the delivery time three times, they wouldn’t allow me to cancel the order otherwise I would have lost all my money. The food arrived very cold and the food itself was absolutely vile! I will never order from here ever again and I seriously hope nobody else does

absolutely awful food, never ordering again. food is way to greasy, peking sauce doesn't even resemble pekong sauce. Plum sauce didn't even taste of plum in any way shape or form. never order

So i had the delight to work here over the christmas and new year... Where do i start... The delivery fee is for the driver, not here they tell u its a service charge although just eat already charge there customers a service charge separately. Its on the receipts for one. A different driver didn't turn up so i was driving back from birmingham in a rush to be told i would only been paid for 4 hours work losing 1.5 hours pay, turned right back and went back to birmingham. Be lucky to make over £50 a night here for 5.5 hours work.. fuel costs and maintenance soon take that. Online tips are NOT paid to the driver and I'd suggest not telling them about cash tips. Also i noticed some kids always throwing stuff at the windows, i asked them to stop once and they did for the day but when the boss is retaliating throwing potatoes back at them what do u expect. Food = decent not bad price either but DO NOT work here. Locals told me to avoid but i didn't listen lol.

Food was fine, but one of the deliveries was wrong, sent the wrong food.

After delivery time had passed, was unable to contact restaurant as phone line was constantly engaged. Delivery arrived approx an hour late

Very disappointed. Food just not tasty. Noodles didn't look like but had taste of burnt food. Pineapples weren't fresh, couldn't eat. Wouldn't recommend to anyone!

Ordered from CK one or two times before, food usually good and delivered mostly on time. However this time I was left disappointed. I ordered the Crispy Duck only to find the hoisin sauce missing and more surprisingly a few tears of blue roll stuck to some of the cucumber slices. Not the best we've had from here.

Order delayed by half an hour and then still arrived late. One of the dishes was also not what was ordered.

Ended up waiting a hour and half for my food to arrive. When it finally came my can of cola was really warm as it was in the bag with the food so that had to go in the freezer for a bit and to top it off there was sauce all in the bag and all over both containers it was such a mess. The crispy chilli beef tasted like fried fat and was soggy but the rice was lovely.

Nothing is worth an hour and 40 minute wait

My egg fried rice was off smells sour and then my mushrooms was disgusting they was off , do not eat here !!

We order from here a couple of times a month. The food is always hot, flavoursome and delivered on time. We believe China Kitchen to be a great asset to the local community, and we would highly recommend ordering your favourite chinese meal from here.

Not sure what nationality restaurant is now, but it's definitely NOT Chinese food!! Won't be ordering again. Food was strange 🤔 only way I can describe it. Ordered curry - but that was not a curry. Had to wait another 20mins for rice they had Forgot to send , and it was cold when it did turn up....my cat enjoyed it though....

I'm no expert on Chinese cuisine, but we have ordered from China kitchen on numerus occasion's, and always found the food to be very tasty, well cooked, looks appealing and hot, no need to warm it, if eating right away. Like i say, I'm no expert, but we love it and i'm sure you will to.

Ordered at 7:20 and food didn’t come until 9:20. Lemon chicken was dry af. Chicken balls were overcooked on outside but pink on the inside. did not rate

Delivery was 30 mins late & the food was only lukewarm. Not impressed!

Food has always been good but last 2 times the chips have been really bad. Not sure if they're refried, or microwaved, or what but it's really putting me off ordering again. I know the chips aren't everything but when you're throwing them away each time it puts you off. Chow mein etc always spot on so not sure what they doing differently.

Not sure if new owners, never had a problem before and used these for a while, however certainly not impressed this time around, the duck was very dry, the plum sauce tasted more like bbq. Chips were far overcooked and the spring rolls didn't have a crisp at all! Even the fortune cookie were soft and chewy and these are pre-packed!!

Beef fried rice wasn’t nice unfortunately. It didn’t taste like beef and it was soggy and weird. There wasn’t much meat on the ribs either. The sweet and sour chicken and wontons however were great!

Ordered at 7.30 when accepted it said delivery 9 - 9.20 for that length of time they shouldn’t accept the order The food finally arrived at 10.10 pm

Great food. Delivery was later than promised but the restaurant did keep in touch to let us know so no problem.

We have ordered so many times from china kitchen over the years and we have always loved the food but our order tonight was not great, the quarter duck was in no way quarter and it was almost inedible with the amount of fat in it. The cucumber and spring onion was not fresh and was starting to go off. The bbq spare ribs were for my partner and he didn’t eat them after saying they were so fatty! Hopefully this is just a one off because our other orders in the past have been amazing, the order being 30mins late also didn’t help.

Fab! Our local was closed so we tried here as the price was good and the food exceeded our expectations! Lots of meat on the ribs and it was all delivered nice and hot 😋

This is an absolute joke I’m pregnant and I’ve had to keep my kids up past bedtime so they can eat their meal! It’s not acceptable

Not pleased, the rice seemed tasteless the special chow main had only 6 pieces of meat in it and way to much veg! Not worth the over £7 price tag the crispy wings were soggy and curry sauce was an extremely small amount, won't be ordering again I'm afraid.

Our order came quick and the food was hot however the aromatic duck was fatty and I asked if the ribs and the duck could be cooked well done and crispy and it wasn’t so a bit disappointed. Nevertheless I’ve ordered so many times from this takeaway and it has always been spot on!

The food wasnt delivered at 1105 it was delivered at 10.37 literally 15 mins after the food was ordered , every sauce was really watery and salt pepper chicken was burnt , it was that hard I couldn't eat it , the whole meal was a disaster, it was all pre heated food , the rice was hard as a rock , I want a full refund

Food was ok, not very hot though. Better keep warm bags or fewer deliveries.

I received a message telling me to enjoy my meal. I rang the restaurant, Who apologised and said it would be with me soon. I ordered it at 6:08pm. 6:59pm I got a message it was on its way. It was delivered at 7:40 pm. It Was by far the worst chinese meal I have ever eaten, the rice had a weird smell, sort of fishy. It tasted awful. The the ribs barely had meat on most of them. What meat was on them was hard, had like a greyish colour to them. They were tasteless. I ate very little and threw the rest in the bin. My partner however, said she enjoyed her Beef Chow Mein. Never again, will I order from this restaurant. I have never paid for food that tasted so bad. I WOULD NOT, RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT!

First time trying here and very disappointed. The sweet and sour chicken was so hard, couldn't bite into it. Duck rice, duck was overcooked and rice under cooked . Vegetable chow mein lacked flavour. Prawn was cooked nicely but the vegetables with it was overcooked and mushy.

I have eaten here before and the food was delicious. This time however it smelt very potent as soon as I opened the pork fried rice container. I can only describe it as smelling sour and off, against my better judgement I tasted it and the taste aligned with the smell. The salt and pepper chips were good and the chicken on the satay skewers was nice but the sauce was unlike any satay skewer sauce I've had before. I am unlikely to order again but as I say, last time it was delicious.

Food was spot on! Definitely would order again. The only downside is when the bag was delivered it was swamped in sweet and sour sauce after the food wasn't packed properly.
