I don’t know what has happened would always order from here, curry sauce like water chips tripled fried and had a funny smell I asked for egg fried rice and received boiled. Never again all went in the bin

I popped in to get a Takeaway but the young girl Behind the counter was so rude And her bad attitude Was disgusting I will never go back they need to get rid off her

WOW you really need to try this just so you know I am not lying, I am 57 and this is BY FAR the Worst Chinese food I have ever TRIED to Eat in my Life, the fried rice is NOT fried, it is plain white rice, no Soy or it wouldn't be Plain White with a bit of egg in it, my leather work boots would of been easier to chew than their BEEF and sweet and sour Ribs? well god knows what that flavour is but it Certainly IS NOT sweet and sour, you could Easily ring the grease out of the Prawn Toast, you have to try it to see just HOW BAD it really is but please believe me when I say that it will be the one and only time you try it because if you do like Chinese food then you will see it bares NO RESEMBLANCE to any Chinese food you have ever tasted in your life, I tried giving it to my Dog and even he would only Eat the Ribs,,, AVOID!

3rd order last night. Enjoyed every meal and very happy to say this Chinese has gluten free options. Thank you - it's rare and much appreciated. Worth the ten minute drive to collect.

I use Tangs as their delivery is good and the food is usually well cooked. However yesterday my duck in plum sauce arrived with no plum sauce and a pretty meagre portion. I emailed them and have had no response. This is the second time I’ve felt the need to comment on their food and it seems the customer service also leaves a lot to be desired. Time for a change.

I've been going to tangs since I was 14, that's 10 years! Never have they tried to rob me on a simple order the way they did the other day. I live local and only one in my family who eats Chinese. Sometimes I order a 3in1 to collect, on the menu clearly states £4.80. When ordering over phone she proceeds to say £7.80, I go to collect and again she says £7.80 so I ask for the menu and show her 3in1 is £4.80, to which she THEN decides to ask me for £4.80. It's petty but if you're a big family and they decide to add on £3 to everything you order! It's robbery, always check menu prices on arrival and calculate before paying!!

I've had a chainess last night the delivery service was very good and the young lady how come to my door was such fantastic and always gave me my change evey time love this lady very much always got a smile on her face

We’ve been loyal to tangs for over 3 years now and I am amazed at how disgusting the service has been for the past few months now! We have received the wrong food twice in the past few months and when we call them they have not issued a refund or sent us the right food; instead try and charge us more to get the food we ordered. I feel robbed and will no longer be ordering from them! They care more about the profit in their pockets than actually delivering a standard service. You would think after over 3 years of ordering from there they would at least make an exception; not that an exception should be needed when being delivered the wrong food!

We have ordered from tangs for many years. The order I recently received was wrong, I ordered the 2 large vegetable spring rolls , I was sent 2 small prawn and chicken spring rolls Not very happy with this as I can’t eat prawns If you’re happy to take my money, I would be happy to receive my correct order!

Always used a more local chinese takeaway on Aspley Lane but felt it had gone downhill so I have been using Tangs on Nuthall road for the past few months and never had a bad meal yet. Staff always pleasant, food tasty, hot and quickly prepared. But give that fishtank a clean out in your takewaway

Food has gone down hill! Appears to be new owners. They wanted to charge me 50p extra for paying by card which isn't legal to do. The woman was extremely rude and lost a £50 order because she wouldn't take the 50p for using card.

Worst Chinese takeaway that I have ever had. Food was cold and tasteless and chips where cremated. I would not advise getting a takeaway from here

Used this Chinese for years. This evening there was a dish missing. Was basically called a liar , told was checked before delivered. I have no reason to lie over something so petty. Very unprofessional and so rude.

Ordered salt and pepper chicken was so dry I could not eat it and when I rang up they told me the chicken is ok so I will not be ordering again

Extremely disappointed. This is the 2nd time I've ordered and unfortunately doubt I will order again. Chips was Extremely dry and so was the lemon chicken. From a £28 order the only thing that was nice was the special fu young. Sweet n sour sauce was disgusting. Crab claws was bland and was more like a mash potato inside. Very disappointed as I've had very good food from here in the past, but have gone right down hill.

Been ordering from here over ten years. Noticed over the past year food on a big decline. If you try to complain, the response is just rude no care for there customers. Cold food. Cold food is not acceptable.

If you ever want a chinese takeout, this place is for you. Their food is always nice and is always earlier than what they display (they usually deliver in as little as 20 minutes when they advertised 1 hour) other chinese takeouts can be hit or miss, but this one is always delicous.

Does what it says on the tin. Thoroughly nice food generous delivery. Wang is good man and friendly neighbourhood. I'd recommend mix deals and chow mein, pork balls always. Yes

I have ordered from Tangs Aspley for a few years and absolutely loved the food and service. But the last couple of orders have been disappointing, I don't know if the chefs have changed, but the food quality has been poor and the recipes seem different. I'll be trying somewhere else for a while I think.

Nuthall road tangs best Chinese food I have ever tasted fast delivery and well priced I will definitely be ordering again

Ordered food £27 worth from the Aspley Branch @8:45pm still waiting @10:15pm called to cancel and they offered no explanation of why it was taking so long! They really didn't care! We will use Chopstix Chinese on Aspley Lane in the future!

Excellent food and am impressed they don't "follow the sheep" in joining the take away platforms. You can order direct without the additional costs you would incur from these places.

We usually enjoy eating from here. Until my partner found a black hair (not mine as I didn't touch the food) midway through eating. He took the food back to them, they dismissed this and didn't want to give the money back until he said he wouldn't leave. Absolutely fuming, they have no manners

Always had a good meal from Tangs but I don't know what happened today. Both meals FAR too hot and unlike the supposedly identical dishes we regularly order. What a disappointment 😢😢

Easily the best chinese takeaway in Nottingham. If you live close enough to a Tang's to get a delivery, you should. Never had a bad dish from them in over 10 years. In fact, when i moved out to radcliffe on trent for a couple of years i used to drive 10 miles to tangs because its so good!

You order 3 ribs you get 1 delivered. You then call to say you’ve not received the order ... woman is very rude. Food is nice service and woman are 100% broken

Always buy from here. Last.week ordered 2 salt and pepper boxes. All the chicken balls were stil pink and cold. Phoned up said they will take price off next time. Phoned order and they wanted 2 take £2.80 off a £30 order. Will be reported and will now stick to innpo...oh and rude staff

ordered at Tangs for the first time yesterday and although the food was a little late, it was absolutley delicious! I've been in this city for 3 years now and out of all the cheeky Chinese I've ordered this has by far been the best! they are also very friendly and I will continue to order from them.

I wish I could put 0 stars. I ordered a delivery and it never arrived. After waiting 2 hours, and several phone calls, I gave up trying to contact them. Every time I called them for an update they assured me it would arrive in 10 more minutes. Never known such bad service. Please avoid

Absolutely disgusting, first time ordering from this chinese and it was shocking! The egg fried rice was plain rice with hardly any egg in it, also the sweet n sour sauce was like water, tiniest portion of chicken too. I highly recommend looking at another chinese

I wish i could give no star. Firstly the owner is extremely rude, very unprofessional and unwilling to resolve issues. Food is average, chilli oil is actually oil with more or less no chilli, i wonder why they call it chilli oil, the fried rice is boiled egg rice with peas contrary to how fried rice should be. Seaweed is full of sugar( Extremely unhealthy) I will certainly not be ordering from Tang any-more..... not worth the hassle.
