After ordering on Just Eat and waiting an hour for our food they rang and said it would be another £4 delivery charge and a further 40 minute wait as we were ‘so far away and they were busy’. When I asked why they had accepted the order knowing the address they couldn’t tell me, just reiterated that we are far away, and that it would be another £4 and 40 minutes. Eventually they asked if we would wait the 40 minutes if they waived the additional fee, but I said no and asked them to cancel it. They marked it as delivered so we had to complain to Just Eat to cancel the order and get a refund.

Food gets you full but overall very poor quality. It’s either too sweet, mushy or burnt to a crisp depending on the dish you order

Ive waited 3 hours no food delivered. I phoned restaurant they keep saying same thing it's on its way. I've now had sandwich instead on new year's eve. Requested refund!

Waited nearly 3hours, food was marked as delivered at 2030, phoned the restaurant at 2040 who said it had just left the shop, by 2130 food still hadn't arrived. Phoned the restaurant again who wasn't very helpful either.

Sadly it was nearly an hour late and the sweet snd sour sauce was forgotten, which made it very dry. I get that it’s New Year’s Eve but be realistic with delivery times please. It said that it was delivered at 7pm now and it wasn’t delivered until 8.15pm

never got my order. restaurant kept saying it's out for delivery. was waiting nearly 2 hours and nothing, funny when the restaurant is literally a 10 min walk away. If I could give 0 stars I would.

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!!! Ordered food and it never arrived. Called the restaurant and was told it has just left the shop. Called again and got put to some one in a "call center" and was told they only take orders for the restaurant and I just had to wait for my order. Extremely unhelpful. Every time I called back in got this "call center" lady and talk the same thing. Told they would send them a message and call me back. Never heard from them. Will dispute with my bank to get my money back.

If I could give this ZERO stars, I would. It said it would be delivered by 8:15pm latest, order was place at 6:30pm. It’s now 10:05pm and I still have no food. Restaurant are useless and kept telling me to wait. Customer service is shocking.

More fat in my pork than actual pork, the sauce was water. And the delivery driver was rude demanding more money for delivery even though on just eat we had been already charged for the delivery and it says no where about being charged more for delivery. Avoid this place.

The food is always amazing but today the order arrived over 2 hours after ordering. Horrible service and not even a discount on the order. Not happy at all unfortunately. Ordered from this restaurant many times,this was the worst customer service in all this time of being a loyal customer.

Despite ordering a fixed slot 2 hours earlier the order was late. They charged me £3 on order for delivery and then had the cheek to ring up for me to pay a further £2 to the driver? What is that all about? Pork dish was fat and slosh!

Ordered at 18:08 and told within an hour on deliveroo. Rang at 19:45 and told driver had left and sorry about the wait, fair enough. Rang again at 20:15 to be told food was just being prepared, so cancelled. Dont lie to customers and don't take on so much that you can't keep up, it's just greedy and you end up having to refund everyone anyway! Will never use again and have ruined our family's Saturday night.

Great food. However delivery time very poor. 1 hour & 45 minutes is a long time to wait.

We order from here as they are usually speedy, but two hours! No need for that. And of course the delivery time kept increasing. If we’d known from the start it was going to be two hours I wouldn’t have minded quite so much. I hate being strung along. The food is quite reliable in quality. It spoilt our evening to be honest.

vegetable spring rolls were burnt on outside and soggy in the middle which makes me think they were re fried. beef chow mean was mushy and liquid like. pork fried rice was OK.

My food never came and I never got my refund

The delivery driver was sat in his car for 10 minutes across the road from our house before he decided to get out and bring the food. What then made the food go cold one of the worst delivery drivers we have had.

if I had read the other reviews first I probably wouldn't have placed an order. Glad I did order because the food arrived on time, piping hot and was delicious.

The duck pancakes were incredible, however the rest was incredibly underwhelming. The sweet and sour sauce in the sweet and sour king prawn Hong Kong style was watery and had a metallic after taste, the rice tasted overcooked and bland, the chow mein unfortunately tasted very oily. Over all, rather disappointing.

Chilli Shredded Beef, Egg Fried Rice and Chicken Chow Mein were all great. Chicken Curry had pink, undercooked chicken.

Went to order my food tonight and they was very proud and sore 2 rats running in kitchen and left really disgusting and smelt awful

Ordered our meal and wait time was an hour. My son went to the cashpoint to collect the money and 26 minutes later the food turned up. I asked to pay over the phone by card and it was really stressful as the woman on the phone wasn't the greatest. After much stress I said to her that they'd told us an hour to which she replied. "it's estimated and I'm only working the computer, you should be prepared!" She was the rudest person I ever spoke to, argued with me, telling me that if I wanted to put on a bad review I should as I'd been rude first! Like seriously? Customer service was seriously lacking and all the time the poor driver was stood waiting. He was lovely but overheard the rude woman ok the phone, it was incredulous, she was shouting, interrupting and talking over me. I asked if she worked in the actual shop because of she didn't, it was a bad reflection on the business. I will NEVER order from here ever again.

The takeaway online is not the takeaway that is completing the orders, so food is not being made, but payments are still being taken. Calling the takeaway doesnt help as its golden bowl and they cant see the orders. Paid for and didnt receive any f

My order was 2hrs late. When I called I was given false information (the driver had been waiting for the order for an hour and a half at the restaurant). I was only given a £4 refund. Don't order from here, absolute waste of time.

Ordered my food at 5.20 pm didn't arrive until 7.10 pm and that's only because I phoned the restaurant up. The woman on the phone was lovely and so was the delivery driver but nearly 2 hours for a basic meal and only 4 miles away is ridiculous

Really poor experience, received a phone call 1 hour after the food was supposed to be delivered saying that they have to cancel the order. As I proceeded to order from somewhere else I received another phone call saying the food will be delivered in 15 minutes. It took another hour for the INCORRECT food to be delivered.

Food was delicious however I was extremely concerned when the delivery driver asked for more money on the doorstep and told me that the manager had tried to contact me about this which was not the case. I really felt for the drivers it was clearly his pocket being affected and he told me this was not the first time. If extra delivery costs are the case this should be apparent at the time of ordering

Please avoid this place nearly £50 on food to get stone cold slimey chicken tasteless chow main stale crackers everything beef the whole lot was definitely not cooked today. When on phone wanted us to bring all food back to where theyd decide what percentage food was ok and what was not its all on 1 plate. Who wants to eat anything else with dirty slimey horrible food on there plate. Eventually the manager told my wife to f off and put phone down absolute disgusting. Yes my wife did get funny in response with being funny first weve used these before always been ok to brilliant but tonight was an absolute joke of a meal.

If I could give zero stars I would! Used to use these quite a bit with no issues until tonight! Over £40 for 2 adults and 3 kids.. Soo , tonight the chicken chow mein - flavourless , and the chicken was slimy and cold in parts! Prawn crackers- stale Chips - spat them out ! Egg fried rice - no egg in it Foo yung on the tiny bite I had was absolutely disgusting Chicken balls - inedible No one could eat any of it , but the food isn't the only issue .. when rang the shop I had to explain myself 150 times , to be refused a refund, to be told they will refund only the chow mein despite being unable to eat any of it ! And the best bit.. to be swore at and have the phone hung up .. They actually think it's acceptable to serve food like this to people !! Absolute grebs !

Poor poor delivery we got our food 3 hours after ordering. They lied saying it was delivered on time on this app so it looks good for their business. No apologises whatsoever! No offer of a discount or good will gesture! Bottom line is they have lied about delivering their order to cover it up! Joke! Can’t even speak to the restaurant and just eat didn’t help when I called twice to see where my order was or even try snd cancel it !

It has been nearly two hours wait and the food still hasn’t arrived. Phoned the restaurant twice and they said it would arrive in the next 10 min. An order of £51 and then they initially phoned saying that I had to pay the driver and extra £4 for the delivery. Very bad service…

We have been ordering from here for over 2 years, only ever had one issue with an order. However lately the delivery time (which is normally really quick) has almost doubled. Not sure if it’s down to staff shortage but one driver attempted to deliver for a friend, turned up with no ID to enter camp and decided to drive all the way back to the restaurant. This time I’ve had a driver say the gate is closed when there’s 2 gates.

the food apart from the chips which were cold was nice, but don't get a delivery. every time we have had it delivered its always been really late. the delivery driver was very apologetic and said he didn't know why it was so late as he had been sat in the take away for 40 mins.

We do love this takeaway. Great food and service. Unfortunately, last week our food was delivered twice and we were charged twice. The delivery chap said it had happened 5 times that night. I think this was an issue with JustEat. Please could someone contact me back to see what we can do regarding a refund as we did not accept the second delivery of food. (I am using this method to message as justeat doesn’t give any option to contact them unfortunately)

Don’t usually write reviews but this is the worst takeaway experience I’ve ever had. Food was over 2 hours and they never phoned me when it arrived, so sat getting cold at hotel reception. They then lied about it to try and hide the fact they never phoned me. Seemed as if they outsource their calls too so they have no idea where the orders are or how to help. Avoid

Beef Satay chow mein is fooooookin amazing

Everything I ordered I didn’t get I got a completely different order like they looked at it and said nope I’m not making that he can have this instead, food was horrible I physically can’t eat it I’m not coming here again

Always order from you but nearly 2 hours delivery time is ridiculous. Second time it’s been really late. So disappointing, sort it out or we will go elsewhere. Food is of a reliable quality though. Such a shame. My husband shouldn’t have to pace up and down outside waiting on the food.

After a well over 2 hour wait, the order was marked as delivered on the time of the restaurant closing; no food was delivered and customer service said that they "could only ask for them to deliver it as soon as possible ". Definitely cannot recommend.

The food overall was lovely - I would definitely recommend the chicken satay skewers and the crispy chilli beef. Only negative was the black bean dish which did have a really strange taste to it.

We have been waiting almost 2 hours and still has not arrived. Called restaurant for an update but to be honest they didn't seem confident it was turning up at all. Real disappointment from a restaurant with local legend title. Wish we hadn't bothered.

Some of the food was barely warm, the chips were soggy and hard (potentially undercooked?) And the sauces had barely any taste.
