We've had a few take aways from China House and the food has been excellent. Always really hot and tasty. Definitely recommend.

Absolutely amazing food. We're from London and we are staying over the night for a business trip. We were kind of stuck on what to order as it was 9:00pm and nothing on uber eats looked appealing so the hotel staff recommend China House. We are blown away how great their food is compared to our usual local London Chinese takeaway. 20 out of 10...brilliant.

Our 1st visit and won't be our last. I'd give more stars for food service and atmosphere if I could. Great meal's. Looking forward to our next visit.

Love this place. I always have my food delivered and it's always within half hour of ordering it. The staff are very friendly on the phone.

This is a fantastic Chinese Takeaway. The staff are friendly and helpful. They have a great selection of specials and set meals. Orders are freshly cooked with a reasonable time to wait. Ordered their set menu meal for one and it was more than plenty for two of us. Highly recommend this place.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Food was bland, chow mein looked like it was sat there for ages as it had a jelly look to it. Asked for chips to be extra crispy but they were extra soggy if anything! Duck didn’t taste or smell right. The cucumber for the duck was definitely sat there for a while it had lost all its colour and didn’t taste right. Picture below was what got put in the bin which is a shame and a waste of £30!!! Not what you want after a busy days work.

Tasteless disgusting food nothing else to say

Disappointingly bland. Food has no flavour whatsoever and was overpriced in my opinion. Chicken had bad texture, would not buy again.

Don't speak English, chicken tastes like bleach, terrible food portions, do not accept card. Wouldn't feed it to my dog.

Once bitten twice shy waited 2hrs for delivery chips greasy and limp chilli chicken pieces were stuck together very greasyhad big pot of sweet chilli sauce when it should have been currysauce waste of £26 on the bright side delivery man was very apologetic even though it wasn't his fault

To be fair always arrives on time and hot , only down side is order duck there is more veg than duck, also they need to be careful as selling multipack cans

Good choice of food with a large menu to chose from all cooked to order can get very busy which just shows how good the food is and it's worth the wait staff are friendly and the place is clean

I have just ordered 2 mild beef curries but with the first mouthful we realised that we weren't given mild curries. They are too spicy by far and we can't eat them so what a waste of £23. To add insult to injury there was also a hair in the food. Disappointed and won't get from here again

I really dont understand how this has got a 4.3 rating , i ordered a takeaway tonight and it was absolutely disgusting , the chips was definitely a week old refry, the duck had a chemical taste to it like cleaning fluid. i dont understand the rating its got, the only thing i can think of its ppl that are related or work there leaving reviews to get their rating up???? trust me its poor food.would not recommend at all. £30 down the mud monkey pan.

Tried china house for the first time but I was very disappointed with the chips, they were cold, dry and tasteless. They should be big fat Chinese chips not French fries. The chow mien was quite bland and only had 3 vegetables in it and the Chinese chicken curry was watery. Not sure if I would use again sorry.

Had a Singapore chow mein. It looked insipid - and uncooked. It was hot, but completely tasteless. Literally swimming in grease. Had about two mouthfuls and couldn't stomach anymore. It's the worst Chinese I've EVER had. Will stick to my usual one in Castlefields as they are brilliant. The chips weren't chips they were fries - and cold. Should have known better really, as the place was deserted - and the last one I had from there 5years ago was equally as horrendous. Avoid at all costs. You WILL be DISAPPOINTED. Or ill.

Quick delivery & a good, tasty meal for 5 of us coming to £60 & some left over. Would order again form here on another visit.

The food is always brilliant at this place and really friendly staff. Only loses a star as is a tad pricey, but fine for a treat!

Very disappointed with service. Please take care if you have an allergy. We ordered a banquet meal and specified one rice without any shell fish due to allergy. Thankfully it was spotted before harm. Very scary, when told they explained a new rice would be sent out when the driver went out.. Missing the point

Been using china house for about a year now and for the time I had a bad experience where the delivery took 2 and half hours to arrive and the order was wrong , they accepted fault. The rugby was on and it was a Saturday so these things happen. When I spoke to the delivery driver he was very polite and gave my number to the person on the counter that rang me up straight away to apologise and sorted something for next time . This time I collected my order as I normally do ( the delivery day I'd had a few drinks) and it was spot on and nice food I recommend the pizza boxes as they add a nice selection to a curry or any other main

Food took 2hrs 20 minutes to arrive, when phoned they said they had driver trouble. Food arrive warm and congealed.

2 hours - 15 minutes and waiting .what a joke

Ordered from China House for the first time yesterday and I am so glad we did. The food was lovely and fresh and delivered in what was no more than 15 minutes. Great portion size and excellent prawn crackers with so many that I was still enjoying them today! We will definitely be using this place again! 😁

Good service but I didn't think food was great, had a Singapore chow mein, but it just tasted like someone had mixed curry sauce into noodles

Hit and miss. Been quite poor the last few times. Used to be one of the be Reply We ordered beef curry rice chips chicken balls. Made both of us feel quite ill. It was the first time in a few months since our last order because a singapore chow mein from yourselves made my partner violantly sick for 2 days. Unfortunately we won't be ordering again

Excellent. Staying at love2stay camping and drove over. Ordered meal for 2 @£19 and it was lovely. The special rice was delicious and the curries were fresh tasting and totally enjoyed it all. Will use again in future.

Nothing special at all. Good selection and good delivery time. However taste not really up to much. You could probably make a better Chinese for yourself at home.

Food absolutely vile. Slodgy rice, asked for special fried rice but don't know what the hell it was. Had about 2 prawns in it and some sort of sauce - By no means was this what I expected it was full of broccoli and onions.The Chips were infact fries, which were rock hard and unedible. My friend got chicken chow mein which had no sauce in it, aparently you have to ask for sauce in it because most people like it dry. Completely lacked flavour and wouldn't even eat there food if it was given for free. Staff nice and offered another chow mein for free but tbh I wouldn't want to eat there food again. Pricey disappointment. Most of the food went in my bin! 😷
