We ordered food standard chicken black bean speak fried rice, crispy chilli beef and A pancake roll! We all know what a pancake roll is it is NOT a spring roll! After them being 45 minutes late they then handed us the bag inside was a quarter portion of prawn crackers all crushed in a bag, sweet chilli crispy beef (burnt I will get to that) chicken in black bean sauce and special fried rice! 1. Pancake rolls was not a pancake roll it was a spring roll and I have photos to supply they said it should have meet in it so I opened it up all it had was bamboo shoots only!!! Then we open chill beef it’s all collated together stuck together and it’s burnt black no colour it was clearly microwaved! That’s when we called the shop they sent the driver back in minute he arrived they took the fake pan cake roll and chilli beef back and tried to refund me by card I said no I want my cash! They gave cash total bill was £20.90 they gave back 8.40 meaning on their menu I was again conned out of 2.10! We come in to eat the “special fried rice and chicken in black bean sauce” the rice was burnt and clearly reheated I don’t see no pork bits in it at all and rice is shredded really thing no egg in it either as for the chicken in black bean it’s clean half a chicken breast has been cut and then one half of that chicken. Ready cut into small tiny pieces and put on my dish god bless who has the other half! I am shocked absolutely disgusted!!! Thief’s and the black bean tastes like gravy - worst part every time I called for delivery update they said one minute it’s freshly cooked it won’t be cold well it was! So it’s not freshly cooked not delivered on time high priced and lied too!!!!! NEVER AGAIN FYI I literally cut the spring roll in half and opened it up as they said it had meat it in (clearly it is not a PANcAKE ROLL it’s a spring roll a pancake roll has meat and sea food in it this has just bamboo shoots that’s a spring roll) and it was tiny fyi It’s meant to be special fried rice all you see is peas and tiny weeny bits of chicken where’s the lamb and pork like it says on the website where is the prawns NOWHERE TO BE SEEN If I could rate it 0 I would but it won’t let me

I will never eat from this place again. we ordered food for my wife's birthday after taking our £63, they sent us very poor food with no taste. when I called, the man said, that was the way they served their food .I asked him if he would eat food that was bland, and if he thought it was right to robbed people of their money and not give them what they ordered. He responded that he will write down a complaint. Very wrong attitude and disappointed

had delivery few times and cant fault it, even with requirements to dishes all was perfect. quick and friendly and piping hot. ordering again very soon. Keep up the good work

I have just ordered a house chow mein and some chicken balls. I had only eaten half of the chow main as it was like someone had tipped half a pot of salt on it, or it had been dipped in the sea. I thought I'd then try the chicken balls to my disappointment it was even more salter, I only ate two then chucked it all, was very disappointed.

I’ve ordered from China garden for a very long time. They are very friendly and the food is really nice. Delivery is usually pretty quick and the menu has plenty of choice.

Excellent service and food, local delivery. Ignore the negative comments- we have always had hot, delicious food and never had any issues from Peter and his family. Great family restaurant that delivers.

Have used China Garden many times over the years. Good menu with a great many options. We quite often have the food delivered and most times it is with you well within the anticipated timeframe.

Decided to give this place another go. Food arrived cold and order was wrong again. No point in complaining because the owner is very rude. Avoid.

Terrible food inedible and constantly messing our orded up. Really gone down hill recently, I won't be using anymore, if you want a good Chinese order from Peking boat opposite China garden.. food is much better! Customer service at China garden is terrible, was told I was a liar. They don't deserve my custom so will go elsewhere:)

Horrendous food frozen chicken ball! Soggy prawn crackers and terrible smell to the prawn toast! I was very reason and only notice the chicken balls to start as and complaint about the frozen one they offer more but I asked for a part refund then I went to eat the prawn toast and prawn crackers and they were unbelievably bad so called and after some convincing and a call back they eventually told me they would refund in 30mins but 1 hour later I had a rude delivery driver offering me a part refund told him It was not acceptable and I want a full refund in the end I got it but he was so rude and abusive told him I was not happy that not one person has offers an apology! He told me I am the only person to complain but after looking on here I beg to differ! DO NOT USE!

Only ordered two lots of ribs, one was lukewarm and the other cold, rang and complained and sent another lot what seems like 5 minutes later and that turns up lukewarm, I’ve used this takeaway for quite a few years, will now go elsewhere

I telephoned an order in: the lady who took it was more au fait with the menu and did not insist on menu numbers as well as the names of dishes. She was somewhat abrupt in her manner, although I suspect that she was busy. She did rely on the post code perhaps a little too much, as my address is part of a row of buildings and dwellings apparently about 300 yds long: I had to tell her several times exactly which was my door. Having said that, the food was delivered rapidly, and by a very pleasant driver The quality of the batter round the king prawns was a little fatty and less than crisp; and the prawns themselves did not look terribly prawn-like. The menu is fairly wide-ranging, although with few great surprises. Overall, though, the quality was pretty good, and the food arrived (from about four miles away) piping hot; and so they deserve credit for this. I would not put this down as the best Chinese takeaway meal I have ever had, but it was certainly pretty good; and I would not hesitate to order from there, again.

Worst takeaway in some time, and trust me that's saying something!! It's a shame as this place used to be ok. Recently though it has gone substantially downhill. Phoned through an order, and was greeted by an extremely unfriendly person, who took the order and then hung up before I could ask any questions about delivery times etc. Tried to call back several times but no answer. The food arrived about half hour later which wasn't too bad a delivery to be honest. Unfortunately the food was horrible. Extremely bland on some dishes, and almost like eating a cigarette butt on others. Unfortunately will not be ordering again any time soon.

I always order from this place and it's the best Chinese takeaway I've had (as I've been looking for a decent one for a long time). Food quality is very good and food always comes quickly,is hot on arrival. would recommend this place to anyone.Best in Sidcup. thanks

As sun lee was shut today my partner and I thought we could try another local cuisine in sidcup. When the food finally came the majority of it was wrong! They gave us 3 portions of rice, which we did not order! When I called them they said the noodles would be about 5 minutes.... And to be fair they was 5 minutes which is probably the reason why they was hard and uncooked. The other food itself was disgusting, chewy and more so the beef in black bean sauce was anemic which was the last straw! I called back up to explain about the awful expensive food! I spoke to several different people which was like playing parcel parcel with the phone and then finally I spoke to a lady and all she said was is Yh Yh yh and agreeing with me. Then all of a sudden she began to get high rated and said her customers never complain. I would never really write a review about a takeaway but I think it's only fair for people to know the truth! Avoid!!! Beans on toast would be much nicer!!

I ordered a takeaway from here this evening. The food was awful. The food arrived within 15 minutes of ordering and was clearly heated up. The rice was over cooked, the squid with spring onions and ginger was slimy and inedible. What was supposed to be chocking in pecking sauce tasted like bbq and Worcester sauce mixed together. When I called to ask for my money back the manager of the restaurant was angry and refused me a refund. I would never order from here again!
