Great food but cash only option please start using card payment

I had a curry Friday and it give me food poisoning 😩

Very disappointed, arrived at 11:25 as only place advertising as open on a Tuesday night and had heard really good reviews. Place was closed, although website still showing ordering available. Please remain open if you advertise the hours

Very Disappointed: stale crackers, tasteless and bland food, food did not taste freshly cooked. Waste of money.

Says there open but rude guy on the phone picked up said there closed and put phone down

Terrible. You get very little meat if any in your chow mein. Ribs have very little meat on them. It's mostly bone. Other reviews say the same . The Cantonese chicken sweet and sour was mostly onion and green pepper, hardly any chicken. I rang to complain that there was hardly any meat ( we spent £30) and they just said we give the same to everyone. I will never order from China dong ever again. I know times are hard but for £30 you expect at least 1 chicken breast cut up. Bad bad bad.

Tasted very nice ngl and im Chinese but the price is very expensive for what it is.

Waited an hour n half to then ending up picking up the order due to them refusing a refund if we cancelled,no explanation, won't be using this place again

Just took delivery of our first order from China Dong and I'm pretty sure we won't be back for more. I had the Happy Starter (Ribs, prawn toast, spring rolls and crispy won ton) and everything is pretty over cooked. But I could have looked past that had it not been for the appalling ribs. Barely any meat on them at all, and due to the fact they're overcooked what little meat I can find is tough as old boots. Honestly, had it not been for the fact that Eat Well (5* place, highly recommended) wasn't open today we wouldn't have ordered from here in the first place. I'd be willing to give China Dong another try were it not for the overall low review score also. Perhaps the management there needs to take a look at what people are saying and make some changes?

Rock hard chips,prawn toast that's burnt.and had to wait nearly 2 hours

Ordered food tonight and after waiting an hour and half, I called to make sure they had received my order. I was told they were very busy and it would be a further 30 mins which then bought me to after 8pm! No apology nothing! cancelled the order and after being a regular customer for 9 years I will not be using again. Even a courtesy call would have been nice to let us know there was a delay. Shocking.

Very average. I haven't found a Chinese in Tamworth that's great at all the dishes we like so we keep trying different ones, but I don't think I will go back to this one. The sweet n sour ribs were nice but a very small portion and sauce a bit watery. Hoi sin pork was good, but again the portion wasn't that big and there wasn't much meat. The crispy shredded chili chicken was most disappointing - sauce was very watery and the plastic container was about half full. If they can sort out the stingy portion sizes and watery sauces could be a really good takeaway.

Decided I'd have a cheeky China Dong wasn't impressed, left rather unsatisfied.

Food is luvly and neva had a problem until 2nite,2 hour wait 4 delivery n then the driver was young n cocky with an attitude,tho due 2 recent drivers I will give the place another chance but wont if it happens again,did phone n staff were friendly,apologised n said will be avin words with driver

do not use this Chinese takeaway at all. decided to order some stuff tonight...it came and it was cold and tasted vile. rang to complain and recieved discustung customer service basically calling me a liar. I hope this establishment is shut sooner rather than later. Save your money and go elsewhere

ordered food for guests on Xmas eve via Just Eat, now I appreciate it's going to be busy. The restaurant said delivery time was 50-70 mins. Hour and half later we call to ask how much longer, told on its way 10 mins. Another 20 mins passes we call again. On its way 2 mins. FINALLY arrive after 2 hours and 10 minutes. CURRY AND RICE MISSING! REALLY. Phoned restaurant for refund and to complain but told foods already back out on its way to me. Another 20 mins later rest of the order arrived. dreadful service. Shame as food was ok

Usually good is bang on, however tonight there were 5/6 pieces of meat in with the vegetable option. Food is good but if you are vegetarian then just double check your food to make sure, as they do not seem to care too much about cross contamination.

Awful, threw it away it was that bad, tasted like it was old food reheated, some food was literally floating in oil and even the chips were undercooked but still greasy. Thought maybe prior visit may have just been bad but second time now.

Just recieved order. Absolutely disgusting. Literally landed here ten minutes ago and its gone straight in the bin. Duck fried rice was undercooked.. Prawn cocktail was warm and prawns tasted funny.. Chicken balls and chicken wings were burnt.. Don't use this Chinese.. Far better ones in tamworth..

Order regularly, cooked fresh, good food & reasonably priced. Top food, ignore the haters.

and that is generous i do not know if they have changed hands but the meals we had were awful fried rice do not know what rice they use 2 so called king prawns in each special and the portions are smaller i have now thrown their menu away i will not recommend them anymore

Ordered quite a lot from here but the last two meals have been unacceptable due to hard boiled rice. I can forgive one instance but not two so will order elsewhere in future.

Delivery spot on. Food hot on arrival, and it was excellent. Very very tasty and good sized portions Would recommend

Tried here a few months ago, wasn't impressed. Ordered again tonight and simply perfect! Beautiful food, fast delivery, cannot fault it and by far my new favourite Chinese takeaway! Excellent job guys! 😊
