China Diner in South Bucks

A lovely restaurant, with great food and service. We had one guest with a nut allergy who they genuinely looked after. The best dishes include the honey pork, crispy broccoli, Thai herb prawns and shredded smoked chicken. Thank you for a lovely evening, I hope we are local again to enjoy the food.

Love the food at China diner, finding parking around might be tricky but you can park behind by the M&S parking lot. Service is always great and I always look forward to dining here.

Been wanting to try out the food here for a while and finally decided to get to it. We had a warm reception by the staff, and our orders were quickly taken. The food we had was delicious and we felt taken care of by the staff and the owner. The overall hygiene of this place looks well taken care of. Can't wait to come back here again!

It’s the only place I know that does twice cooked beef, which is delicious. Everyone is lovely there, and I really like the new decor. It’s pricey, but we’l worth the 40 minute round trip it takes us to order a take away!

Best restaurant in Beaconsfield.

First time experience is very good. The sweet and sour sauce is definitely not the ready made sauce what most of the takeaway use. This was really fresh and nice. I will be back again soon.

What a great find. We went for lunch to celebrate Chinese NewYear. Very clean bright and pleasant restaurant. Very good food and reasonably priced. The duck and pancakes and fried noodles with chicken were great as we're the Peking Chicken noodles. We enjoyed our time.

Take away for 8 people and the amount ordered was spot on as per their suggestion. Food was well presented tasted great and nothing left. Really like the Singapore noodles, chilli beef, kung po prawns. Hadn’t been to China Diner for a while but will definitely return.

Absolutely fuming with this place. We walked in and asked for a table for 3, the girls said yes no problem just one minute, then a woman came over and they had no tables! The place was empty!! She turned us away because we had our 2 year old daughter with us!!! Disgusting service!!!!!!!!!

Wow Wow Wow! Thank God we booked… Friday & Saturday they have 2 sittings, one at 5.30-7.45 and 7.45 onwards. We booked for the first sitting on a Saturday night for us, my parents & my 9 week old baby in a buggy and the entire staff were so accommodating and lovely! They made us feel at ease, kept telling us our buggy wasn’t an issue , checked on our baby when they checked on us and were just so accommodating! Amazing food, fabulous staff & an overall brilliant atmosphere! Just make sure to make a booking, especially on a busy weekend so you don’t miss out! Can’t wait to go back 🥰

Delicious food served by wonderful, friendly staff

Visited the China Diner 12/11 with my colleague, having visited the David Lloyd beaconsfield prior, ordered quite a few starters which were imo below even an average standard , generally Luke warm dry and tasteless with salt and pepper ribs being completely over cooked , myself and my colleague did at this point consider cutting our losses; paying and leaving before ordering mains , however , were rather hungry so agreed we’d persevere and try the mains , although slightly better than the starters, I’d say they were average, the food in my opinion was £20-30 pp buffet standard. Now comes the shocker , whilst eating the mains (to be precise , the beef in black bean) my colleague almost broke his tooth on some form of foreign object, appeared on closer examination to be some form of plastic/glass? , a waiter (male 40-50 years) appeared on seeing my colleague in discomfort and upon request bought back some water , at this point my colleague is naturally very concerned as to what the foreign object is and is questioning the waiter, what it could be , who replied to our horror with a smirk ‘calm down its not that serious is it’ upon questioning exactly what he meant by such a remark he said he’d call the manager , a lady then appeared and examined the foreign object and said it looked like black bean , i then pointed out with my fork ‘it’s hard and sharp’ , no apology or anything just said I’ll go and see the chef , sometime later , she returned and said we aren’t sure what it is but it hasn’t come from the kitchen (it was in the food so where else has it Come from?) she then stated she had removed it from the bill , at this point the bill is not even going through our mind , our concern is 1) what is this foreign object ,2) how has it ended up in the food and 3) the hygiene concern! All the lady seems interested is the bill , my colleague at this point expressed annoyance verbally at the fact he’s just taken this foreign object in his mouth which he has no idea what it is and all the lady seems Concerned about is the bill , at which point the lady had the diabolical liberty to ask is this what you do, go around restaurants doing this’ ?!? We are both shocked and horrified by such a suggestion! I then interjected with excuse me! She then tried to change the subject , I said no no no just back track a moment, im lost for words now I literally cannot believe the attitude of the lady, never have I been so insulted in all my life! I then went on to say given this diabolical attitude you are displaying and insinuation that we are some sort of common criminal and more over the health risk you have exposed us to , with all due respect you must be crazy if you think I’ll be paying! At which point someone else came over , whom I would assume was the owner , who rudely said don’t worry leave and don’t come back! Absolutely shocking behaviour from all staff involved , upon us leaving, the lady very uncouthly shouted from the bar area , I hope you enjoyed the free meal! The meal as above was below average so no we certainly didn’t enjoy ! More importantly we were both disgusted by the attitude of said staff members, and on that note and to close, certainly cannot recommend!

Had a takeaway Great food friendly staff one of the best Chinese takeaways Iv had. Been looking for a decent one in the area and have finally found one. Will definatly be dinning in next time.

The best Chinese food in England fullstop. There is no other establishment that even comes close to this restaurant. The food is always impeccable and absolutely delicious. The service is outstanding and runs like clockwork from when you sit down to when you walk out of the door. Such a gem in Beaconsfield. Thank you.

We turned up as a family of 4 last minute and they gave us a seat for 1.5 hours. We ordered a few starters (which took an age to come out), a main and a dessert...food was very nice but a little pricey for what we got. Annoyingly we were charged for chilli oil...never have I ever been charged for this in any Chinese restaurant before. I didn't bother arguing the point if that is how they charge, but thought it was a little cheeky

We had dinner in this restaurant a busy Saturday night, of course we had booked a table in advance. The staff was very helpful, our orders served relatively fast even was a busy night. We enjoyed everything from starters to mains and desserts. Our food was very delicious and at the end of the day prices are very reasonable. Definitely we will dine again in this place.

A superb Saturday night feast...being a vegetarian and the rest of the Boyz being meat eaters....they kindly did me set meal for 1 as the Boyz all went for set meat meal. The food absolutely gorgeous... especially the Sweet & Sour Seitan and Tofu in Yellow Bean sauce and the no crispy Duck ...top stars all around.

Expensive but good quality and service

Food here is great but it is unfortunate that the service is poor, staff making weird faces when asked questions and very cold as soon as we entered, also felt like we were being hurried. I will have to stick to their takeaways instead.

We have been going to this restaurant for about 30 years, but having moved away, this was our first visit since I was diagnosed coeliac and need to eat gluten free. They could not have been more helpful and reassuring, talking me through the procedures for minimising the risk of cross-contamination before we booked. When we were there, they made us feel so welcome and knew they needed to be careful. The food was superb - plenty of choice and the aromatic duck (with lettuce leaf wraps) was heavenly! They even brought out a pot of gluten free soy sauce for me. The rest of the family enjoyed their selections too, and we all left feeling full and happy.

Lovely place. Unassuming from the front - walk in to a contemporary styled place with nice lightening and good temperature. My son had soup as a starter, then we moved on to have peking duck and pancakes - very tasty and just the right side of crispy without being burnt. For main course we had shezuan chicken, dry Chripy chilli beef and Singapore noodles. Very good taste - although a little bit dry. Would highly recommend for a very good tasting Chinese.

Love this restaurant. The food is always of the highest quality, as is the service. It has recently been refurbished and looks wonderful. Only thing that took the gloss off an otherwise perfect evening was that we were there to celebrate our son's 18th birthday and a drink on the house would have been a lovely gesture as I've been going there since I was a child and now take my own family as often as possible. Still highly recommend as the best Chinese restaurant in the area by a country mile!

I went to this place with my husband and 4 year old son for dinner . The food was not very good ( very oily ) though the plate size was small and expensive. Major turn off for us was being asked to keep our son Quiet ( he was just playing with his Toy cars ) Please Next time hung big sign outside “NO KIDS IN CHINA DINA “

On Thursday night I was very lucky to be taken to China Diner, Beaconsfield. The staff were excellent, the restaurant full. The service was very good indeed & the food very good indeed. From lovely crispy duck to spring rolls, breadcrumbed prawns to meaty spare ribs. The Tsingtao beer went down well as well. The meal was priced at £38.00 per head.

Another fabulous dining experience from China Diner team. The moment you walk in you are welcomed appropriately and seated. The food is delicious and portions are very always perfect for my taste. I’m always appreciative of the freshness and quality of the dishes not the quantity. The Jasmine tea is very refreshing and served with the correct temperature. Sea bass was fresh and full of flavour. Crispy duck divinely shredded ready to eat. Staff and management have always been most welcoming and friendly. Lastly, those with big chip on their shoulders should give this place a miss, so we regular visitors get our table. Another visit coming soon.

You are in Beaconsfield it is gonna be expensive but oh my god is it worth it we have come here for the past few years now for my mum's birthday and well the service is always of the highest order, the food is always delicious and the setting and how you feel inside the restraunt is great too

There was a large group of us. Was okay and food was good. However service felt a bit rushed. Felt like they wanted to get rid.

Freshly and perfectly cooked Chinese food. The food was impressive and the service of the highest standard. This is a restaurant we will return to.

Probably the best Chinese food in the area. Being a party of six, we chose a set menu @ £30 a head which gave us 3 huge courses without puddings. We couldn't finish any of the courses but they did offer a takeaway bag for the remainder. I've eaten here several times and never been disappointed. Highly recommended.

The China Diner Restaurant within New Town Beaconsfield Bucks England , is a fine Oriental Cuisine place to go. It’s a family and disability friendly access eatery! With a very friendly Staff, and clean environment in seating area too. With a vast , interesting and varied Chinese Menu of delicious meals to choose from. It’s about average on menu prices for a very fashionable area. Tourists will love this Restaurant and the cosmopolitan local town to roam around before, or after their meal here. I fully recommend a visit !!

From.the minute we booked our table we were treated like a nuisance. Difficult to get the attention of any of the servers and no chance of a smile. Food was very average. Ive had tastier meals with friendlier service from back street take aways. Overall a rather unpleasant dining experience. Would not return to China Diner.

I have been going to this restaurant since it opened and though I can't remember what it was like then I can highly recommend it now. Food was excellent and staff very friendly. Fixed menu and easy option with a good variety. Will be back in the new year.

Had a takeaway the crispy chill beef was more spicy then normal

Food good but unsmiling, dour & unhappy looking waiting staff. Week b4 Xmas & they close at 2pm!?. No mention of this when I booked. We felt rushed as the bill was suddenly bunged down on the table as if to say "time to go"

Was looking for something away from the M40 offerings and came across this spot. Friendly place with a lot of locals popping in for takeout. I really enjoyed the crab sweetcorn soup and the mains were cooked well, fresh and vibrant.

As a Coeliac, I very rarely get to eat Chinese food! After a chance opportunity to get a takeaway from China Diner, over the phone Pui immediately put my mind at rest with her knowledge about gluten free food. She emailed me their gluten free menu immediately and after ordering, our food was ready within 30 minutes. The food itself (Salt & Chilli King Prawns, Chicken with Cashews in Cantonese Sauce and Fried Vermicelli with Chicken) was delicious, perfectly seasoned and most importantly, safe! I had no side effects at all. I am delighted at my first Chinese takeaway in approx 3 years; I will definitely be back! I would happily recommend to any Coeliacs/NCGI.

China Diner is a wonderful sit down Chinese restaurant. We have been going for decades 2 or 3 times a year. The food it always top notch with great service. Well worth a visit.

Having had take away from China diner several times, we chose to eat in for the first time. Service was excellent and we had a very tasty meal that was as ordered. If you fancy a Chinese meal in Beaconsfield then this is the place to go.

Lunch time (12-2) menu was 14 pp for 2 dishes which were lovely and tasty, would have been even better with a few prawn crackers thrown in :)

This is our first time and definitely the last time visiting this place. Very small portions and very expensive... Disappointed 🤔. Not recommend.....

We are not local, and were staying at a hotel, so reviews can be extremely important to rely on! China Diner seemed to be the best reviewed Chinese restaurant in the area, so we ordered a takeaway from there. Absolutely delicious, so glad we did! It's not cheap, but it's not overly-pricy either, and when the food is good, it's fine to pay a bit more knowing everyone enjoyed it. Would recommend, and if we are in the area again in the future, we will definitely order from there. It's worth noting, the restaurant was quite busy on a Sunday evening - that's always a good sign and long may they continue to be successful!

I’ve used this restaurant twice for Click & Collect food and the service has been excellent, from the minute they pick up the phone to finishing the actual food, I don’t think I have any complaints. Now you’re here because you want a review of the food and it’s awesome, it’s served at the perfect temperature, and it’s done just right, not too greasy, and not too overwhelming and it tastes freshly cooked. Value for money wise, it’s on par with other Chinese food I’ve had locally but since three local ones aren’t operating, this will now become my main ‘go-to’ I’ve never had a dine-in experience but I’m sure I will in the future, I can definitely recommend. Just a quick tip for Click and Collect, go to the website and look at the menu first and select what you want, it really helps them out.

Lovely food and fast and efficient service.

I have not eaten here. BUT! I do deliverys for this restaurant and the cooks are really nice along with the other staff and I have seen the kitchen. And is always at a good condition with plenty of guys on hand to keep things productive. Hopefully I'll get the chance to try and eat here. I'd say definitely worth a visit to try! 🤗😊
