We used to go hear quite often before the first lockdown, so I was happy to find out they'd re-opened the buffet with the easing of restrictions from May 17. The restaurant has adopted a safe and sensible policy of paying first for your meal at the counter and then letting you self serve, whilst wearing masks and provided gloves, which you keep throughout your meal. You take these off whilst eating of course. The tables are well spaced out and as it's self service you can size your own portions and don't need to worry about being taken round by staff, you are left to your own devices. I'd say that this is the best way a buffet can operate until things completely return to normal. The buffet prices has increased slightly (couple of quid more) but that is to be expected following a year of closures and it is still very reasonable for an all you can eat. The food choice of the buffet was pretty much the same as it was before all the lockdown closures, so plenty of choice of your favourite Chinese dishes and the food always is always hot and tasty. We feared that Chinese buffets may become a thing of the past following all the lockdown issues, but we are very happy to see China City getting back to business as usual. 5 stars from us and we will keep coming back.

I’ve been here multiple of times and it was great. First time here since the whole pandemic and it’s an absolute waste of money. I went in a group of 4 people for a AS MUCH AS YOU CAN EAT BUFFET, we all like different things so we ordered sharing portions so that they’re smaller, if we like different things a few different dishes were ordered to the table. Now they bring the food out for you because of the pandemic. We placed an order and half of it arrived so we started questioning the staff about it and he told us there’s too much food going out and too much waste, if we don’t eat it all we will be charged?! That’s an absolute disgrace it’s a restaurant and an all you can eat buffet. I have never ever been approached by a bunch of rude people in my life never mind staff at a restaurant telling me I’ve got to eat all my food or I’ll get charged. Felt like 5 year old getting told off by my mum. Disgusting hygiene, our table was covered in food literally as if someone has thrown it all over the floor and to be honest with you previous customers probably did to get rid of the food in case there was ‘too much waste’ and if they was going to get ‘charged more’. Horrible people never again don’t waste your time folks!

The food and service in this so called restaurant is shocking.They tried to give me my wife and our Grandson a meal with no plates or knives and folks. The starters they brought to our table were so poor quality I wouldn’t have given my dog it. Please don’t visit this shower of sorrow.

Went here thinking it was as good when we lived in castleford how wrong we were selection of food poor hardly anything to choose from no proper ribs onion rings were yuk and main meal saturated in salt won't be going again

The food we had ordered of the new style menu was very nice and tasty The service we got was not so good, we had to ask for missing items off the menu which took about 20 minutes to arrive, extra napkins we got 2. My wife asked for a jug of water and got a pint glass of water and so on. Anyway on paying the bill £31.80 using my debit card the gentleman behind the plastic screen handed me back my card and receipt and it wasn't till I arrived home I checked the receipt and found I had paid a Gratuity fee of £2.20 which I was not aware of!. Considering on the counter there was a bowl of change with Tips marked on it and if I had given the waiter a tip the total could have been a lot more. Is it right to add on to your bill the extra payment without being notified?The food itself was very nice and tasty.

We started with crispy duck and satay chicken, then had singapore chowmein, chicken chowmein, chicken curry, chicken with black bean, kung po chicken, prawn with black bean, tofu and vegetables.. I'd say the list was endless, but after one more chicken satay and some ice cream we were full - and didnt waste a morsel.We didnt order all at once, and as it was fairly quiet the food came very quickly - maybe it would take longer if it was full, but as it was, we ate just what we wanted, and tried a fair portion of the menu. We'll definitely be back to try more - I much prefer this system than the old one where food is sitting in trays for who knows how long, and just isn't that hot. Yes, they may have trays of food back in the kitchen, but what we had was hot and it was presented much better. Not sure I ate any more than I would normally.All the food was tasty and just great. We'll definietly be back - I hope they keep it like this !

Covid aside, this has got to be the worst restaurant we have eaten in this year: 0/10Staff management:Slow slow slow. The staff were inattentive and didn't seem to know what they were doing. Rather than one server taking care of one area, they seemed to be wandering with eyes faced downward. Customers were raising their hands to attract their attention but not being seen.I attracted a member of staff with a polite, "Excuse me", when we wanted to pay and were told to wait a moment. We did. Eventually, I attracted another server, who told us that customers need to go to the bar to pay! ❌Time management:We arrived at 18:10 for an 18:30 booking, and joined a queue. We expected the restaurant to have set seating times; hence, customers would be leaving at 18:15 giving time for the tables to be cleaned before the 18:30 sitting. This wasn't the case, and we had to wait in the queue for customers who were still eating to finish and leave.We were eventually seated at 18:50, but no-one came to take our order for another 10 minutes, so 30 minutes after our booking time, in a red hot restaurant all we had were drinks. We ordered our starter via the waiter who brought our drinks, and they arrived 15 minutes later (19:15), so we didn't start eating until 45 minutes after our booking time. Realising the service was slow, while waiting for our starters to arrive, we selected our main menu dishes, and immediately gave our main menu order to the waiter who served our starters. As the time between courses was long, customer appetites are reduced as we feel fuller, less food was eaten, and the restaurant profits were higher. ❌Price:The price had increased to £14.90 per adult but, rather than the all-you-can-eat buffet, due to Covid there was an a la carte menu. Fair enough, but the government recently reduced the VAT for restaurants, and it doesn't look like the restaurant passes it on to customers?Rather than guessing how much each of the buffet items customers will eat, I assumed that it would be easier to cater for a limited a la carte menu. This was not the case. Even a simple staple item like soup took a long time to arrive. ❌Food quality:For us, the best food was the Capital spare ribs starter and the (plain) ice cream dessert!The rest of the food felt either fatty/oily or salty - Was this, combined with the heat, to increase drink sales?Foods to avoid at all costs include the chilli ribs (see pic) which were mostly fat, the house special egg foo yung (see pic) which was much too dry and salty, and the onion rings (which just tasted of fat). Craig stated that the Beef with chilli and black bean sauce was the worst he had ever tasted. The less said about the rest, the better! ❌Venue:Today was one of the hottest days of the year. Though windows were open, I didn't see a fan, or anything that circulated air. When I informed a member of staff, I was told that the air conditioner was broken. The restaurant was so hot that customers were using their menus as a fan. Eventually, a lady collapsed unconscious with heat stroke and I, with the help of a waiter, had to carry her outside to cool off. Once the lady had come round, until I mentioned that the young lady had passed-out due to their negligence (stupidly hot and no airflow), the manager still expected payment! ❌Customer experience:We heard many customers complaining - The only reason I didn't was that Craig asked me not to. On the way out, one of the customers told us that we were the only customers that hadn't complained! ❌We, of course, will NOT return.

What a joke Adult price £14.90 child £7.90, went with my daughter my partners daughter and my 2 grandsons, 3 kids under the age of 13, because they were taler than 140cm I had to pay adult price, my youngest grandson who’s only 8 fell asleep so didn’t eat and still had to pay child price and I know it’s eat out to help out and you pay half but really they got full price for 3 kids and half price for 2 adults, they wouldn’t listen to reason a child is someone under 16, the kids also wanted ice cream to take out as we had seen them let other customers do this when we asked we were told no we don’t do take out, when we pointed out that some one had just done so we were told it was because they had only had starters, it was very warm in the restraint and a young pregnant girl fainted she was carried outside for some air and staff asked her to pay for food she hadn’t yet had what an absolute joke, won’t be taking kids here again, you shouldn’t have to pay adult price for a child.Thanks for readingAlly, Heidi, Conner, Leyten & Phoebe

Myself and family have just returned from what I can only describe as a worrying evening meal out. It's the 1st time we've been back since before lockdown. We waited on arrival to be shown to our table having 1st being asked to use hand sanitiser, which we did. Things have changed slightly with the current situation & I totally understand this, certain menu items are cooked to order and all is brought to your table, so far so good, however the waiting staff all were wearing masks but some were wearing theirs just over their mouths ( I'm a bit worried at this point ). Table clearing was very hit and miss and trying to get another drink was nigh on impossible. As in most restaurants you tend to look around and I noticed a table being cleared ready for the next sitting, the laminated menu was removed as was the table cloth, then a fresh table cloth put back on the table but alarmingly the laminated menu was also put back on the table WITHOUT being sanitised, I thought maybe this was an over sight, however I was proved wrong, time & time again, and it seemed to be the same male member of staff each time. It's not like people are not aware of what is going on in the world is it ?? We had finished our meal at this point, had I known before hand I wouldn't have gone in. Then to add insult to injury, when coming to pay I always ask for an itemised bill - so glad I did, they only tried charging full price for my 8 year old, that was probably an honest mistake. In summary I will never eat at this place again, if you insist we sanitize on entry ( and so you should) then you should insist your staff clean and sanitize properly

Cold and then food not cooked and when you ask for different food they brought you the same cold burnt food avoid at all costs

This is our favourite Chinese Buffet restaurant! The food is always good and the kids love that they can have a little bit of lots of different dishes. There is always something for everyone.Good service and value for money. Do check their open and closing times as they shut for most afternoons running a lunch and then evening meal sittings.

Had a very good meal Thursday food was warm tasty and value for money the only downside was the Eastern European waiters been aggressive and scary

Came again today, travel from Bradford quite regular, only fault could say today, the chicken and sweetcorn soup really had no flavour to it, every other dish was flavoursome and piping hot, love our family Sunday visits, will be back in the new year.

Buffet .... xmas eve. Family venture out four adults , two kids . Food was fine , bar had reasonable selection ... staff were good - efficient. Love the ice cream machine . Bill was reasonable ... Would return : no frills Chinese , buffet.

In addition, they serve poor quality food, followed by terrible service and as a result, they’ve CERTAINLY lost a lot of repeat custom. I would not and will not recommend this establishment to anyone.

This is a lovely Chinese restaurant,so beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean.The staff are very friendly and professional.There is so much to choose from it must bear most of the Chinese food places in choice.The food was lovely and hot and the food was topped up on regular intervals and we were asked several times whether everything was alright.We had a glass of wine and it was such a miserable night outside lovely and warm inside.There are plenty of tables to sit at,well worth a visit

I have visited this restaurant a few times over the last few years, having been born in Castleford but moved to Barnsley 16 years ago. However, today will definitely be my last. For a lunch time buffet menu I thought the choice was very limited, ok if you fancy chips and hash browns, but not much variety otherwise. The beef in Satay sauce was very greasy and hard to chew, No prawns available, no cooked pork, and very little else that appeared appetising. To make matters worse we were seated next to what can only be described as the two most ignorant and foulmouthed excuses for women you could imagine, and to to top it all one of them was the mother of a little girl no older than 6 or 7 years old. They were using the F word in every other sentence in front of the young girl, thought it was hilarious to break wind and talk about how much alcohol they had drunk, The waiters heard this but said and did nothing, we left after 20 minutes, will NEVER COME BACK AGAIN.

This restaurant went downhill for quite a while but recent visits have been greatly improved with greater attention to the foods freshness this is by having less on the self serve area but having it constantly replaced as it is used, I’m not sure if the chef(s) have changed but the food seems slightly different and much tastier as well, cleanliness has definitely improved and staff seem a bit friendlier as well.

Have been going to China City for years and we have always really enjoyed the food..... until tonight. Food wasn’t hot- even the noodles that had just been brought from the kitchen were cold. Main meals were not being replenished and during the time we were there, most of the main dishes only had a scraping in the bottom of the dish. Chicken options in the starter section were chewy. Very disappointing. Can only assume it has changed ownership in the last few months. Sorry to say we won’t be going back.

We tried this place for the first time, absolutely dreadful food. Greasy and tasteless, most of it went in the bin. Shame considering somebody recommended it to us.

Overall good value for buffet and food was ok, but unfortunately one staff member threw food all over our table from someone else’s plate whilst trying to collect one of our plates.

Always used to go to eastern court round the corner, found that has gone downhill so decided to try here! Absolutely brilliant. Loads of choice, all fresh and hot! Best Chinese Buffett I’ve ever had!

We called in for lunch this week and this is the first time for quite awhile. It appears as though there are new owners from the last time we visited but that is about all that has changed. The restaurant is spotless, the food is well prepared, hot and plentiful and the waiters clear your table quickly between every visit to the hot buffet bar. We won't be leaving it as long before our next visit.

Called in here for Saturday lunch as we were passing, been a couple of times before and always enjoyed the food, today was no exception the buffet was well stocked and piping hot as it should be, the duck and pancakes were great (ate too many of them) all the other dishes on the buffet were just as nice, Had the lunch buffet for 2 and 2 drinks and it coast £21 where can you eat such nice food as that for that price, Brilliant

No suprise when I checked there health and safety that they are rated 0 stars. Pretty sure I’ve got salmonella came on a few hours after eating here.

With the grandchildren this is the best place around, they can select and eat what they want. I can enjoy good Chinese food at ease. Good food , great value. What more do you want.

At £6.99 an all yiou can eat buffet must be good value. Plenty of choice, well cooked, warm (often a problem with open buffets) and tasty. Worth a try.

We been going for 15years and never had a complaint untill today food was warm not pili g hot like it should be we complain but none of if the staff was that bothered so we won't going again I certainly won't be recommending them at all

Slightly disappointed as I'd heard such good reviews in this place! We came here at 8.30pm and the tray's were in need of refilling, when we asked them to be refilled they told us the kitchen is closed??? Why weren't we told when we entered the restaurant! Wont come back!

Been coming to this place for a few years now. Food is always nice and staff always pleasant. Downside expensive for what it is. And with all eat you can eat places the price of the drinks is ridiculous.

Good variety to choose from starters, main and dessert. Lovely little cheese cake slices. Very tasty. Reasonably priced. Get up as many times as you like.

The chicken was pink on the salt & pepper chicken wings & cheese cake wqs frozen i complained to a member of staff and didnt get a apology so rude.

Wanted to try as we've not been for 14 years. It was lovely not a lot to choose from but for price you can't grumble. Food was hot and tasty, drink we're priced ok. The place was clean and tidy if anyone dropped anything they were straight there cleaning it up. Food refiled when needed no wanting about. We would definitely go again maybe on a night time to see what else you can have.

Return visit last night. Busy as usual. Did think the standard of the food had somewhat lost its edge since my last visit. Nevertheless, I enjoyed my visit and the staff were helpful and pleasant and overall ambience of the restaurant was good.

Went on a Friday evening, without booking and were seated straight away. The restaurant was quite busy and food was being constantly replaced. The tables are crammed close together and unfortunately for us a man in the next table was complaining constantly throughout the meal about the temperature of the food. The temperature was fine and I couldn’t touch the serving spoons on some of the dishes as they were so hot! The food was typical buffet food, nothing special and I wouldn’t say I would rush back. Tbh I can’t say I’ve found a decent Chinese buffet yet that I would return to.

My family and I have eaten here on a few occasions such as New Years Eve. Obviously, it was very but and normally means the food is regularly freshly cooked. That was true but everything appeared to be cooked in the same old oil and not only tasted the same, it was oily and greasy too.

Very dated look about the place a little like a Blackpool boarding house the food is cheap and quality is average I really couldn’t recommend this place it’s just ok

Visited many years ago and it was lovely but this time it was rubbish. The food was the worst I have ever had in on of the restaurants cold, overcooked and dire.

Our fourth visit to this restaurant and each time has been of the same standard. We've always gone with a family group ranging from 3 - 60 years old. The food is fantastic quality for an all you can eat. I definitely think it's of a menu choice restaurant standard. Such a broad range available. Plenty or starters, mains and sides. Desserts are limited but we are always stuffed. Lovely atmosphere, reasonable pricing and nice staff. Would definitely recommend. We are from Leeds and it's worth the drive.

Our first visit in 2019 and lots of lovely decorations for the Chinese New Year (year of the pig). The grandchildren love China City with its aquarium (some accessories would make it more attractive to look at and more interesting for the fish). This time we were with our 10 month old granddaughter who really enjoyed the crispy seaweed and rice, and also some of the desserts and fruit. No doubt we’ll be back with the older children during their half term visit to us. We especially enjoy the Sunday lunch menu which is more extensive but we also find there is plenty of choice Monday to Saturday.

we started with soup and noodles, then two different plates of differing Chinese meals, and finished with ice-cream and fruit; we always eat too much when we come here, but it is good each and every time we visit.

Visited yesterday evening. We've been to this place a couple of times and had mixed reviews but last night took the straw so I had to leave a review as promised to the manager. We arrived around 7pm, bare in mind the buffet is apparently available until 11pm. We searched for food we would like to eat only to find scabby pieces that looked like they'd been there hours. Still, we were hungry and got a little of what looked fresher (noodles) to put us on while we waited to what we thought would be a couple of minutes whilst they topped up the empty trays. 10 minutes passed and although all the staff kept looking at they empty trays.... they stayed empty! I asked 3 different staff in the space of half an hour if/when they would be putting any food out and every time the reply was 5 minutes. After over 45 minutes of eating noodles which by this point had dried up and ran out too, I'd had enough!. Me and my partner went to settle the bill and speak with the manager. I told him I wasn't paying full price for what we received and explained the situation. He was in denial that the trays were and have been empty for the last hour (I pointed out they still were) and questioned which staff I had spoken to, ironically none of them were in sight bar one who was stood behind him shaking his head, speaking very little English. Unfortunately I only had card to make payment, If I had cash, I would've tossed him a £10 note for our drinks and noodles and that would've been a generous payment! In the end, he knocked me 10% off so I saved £3!! wow! It wouldn't be so bad if they accepted they were in the wrong and apologised but they didn't. I rarely leave negative reviews because I know people work hard to deliver for others, but when your paying for a service you don't receive, I'm not given much option. I won't be returning and I hope people take note on what's available in the trays when they arrive because that's all you will get. Disgusting food and absolutely appalling customer service!!

Visited this evening. By 9pm there was no main course food left. We asked 4 different people if any more was coming out. After about 15 minutes someone arrived with a small amount of chicken curry which we put on our plates, however soon found it was cold. We complained to the waitress who duly told the manger. The manager obviously thought we were lieing and asked the waitress to bring the food to him to test, which he did by sticking his finger in it. The curry was then removed from the buffet but not for long as minutes later the waitress returned to our table with the curry to tell us it had been warmed up - microwaved I would imagine. I am surprised no one has had food poisoning. Very few of the staff speak English so really difficult to get your message across. When it came to paying I pointed out we had only had starters and drinks but was still charged three quarters of the price and no apology was given. We won’t be returning - disgusting food, terrible customer service and surly staff.

I do not know if there has been a change of ownership, but the service was terrible (delivered by surly staff). Another venue removed from my list of nice places to eat.

My first visit for sometime to China City, have to say really enjoyed it, good quality piping hot food, attentive service all at a good price....the whole place seems a lot brighter and modern....definitely worth a visit.

Had to leave as the buffet food was teaming with flies. The manager said ‘what can I do? It’s the weather’ well that’s just not good enough. Get some fly papers or something or shut the windows and invest in air conditioning, your loyal customers deserve it

This is a beautiful restaurant plenty of room we had a bottle of malbec. This must be one of the best Buffett Chinese restaurants plenty to choose from for everybody also several desserts lovely staff who came for 6 months from romania. The reason I haven't given 5 stars is its no good having a beautiful spotless restaurant when the toilets were filthy paintwork on the doors dirty toilet paper over the floor broken locks, toilet seats sorry but this let's you down big time.

Been here many times over the years and it has never once let me down! Amazing choice of food with something to suit everyone. The garlic prawns, duck pancakes and crispy banana deserts being favourites of mine. Would definitely recommend to any Chinese lover and will keep coming back for many years to come

We have only been to China city at lunchtime , but decided to try the evening buffet, it didn’t disappoint , plenty of choice, fresh hot dishes and very clean .

Went here last night for my tea with my daughter and mum and partner. First of all i found the waiter who seated us very dull no smiley faces just basically blank! The food was basic. Although i must say i did enjoy the ribs they was very tasty and cooked perfectly. The chicken in black bean was very watery. The staff are supposed to take your plates away once finished. We literally had a pile of plates on our table and we had to keep trying to find a waiter/waitress to take them away because we had no room on the table for any more plates! The lady who was bringing out the food was very nice and smiley. All the other waiters didn't really realise you was there. When it came to paying the lady behinde the counter was very friendly and smiley. As i was stood at the bar waiting to pay my bill another Chinese waitress came over to put a recipete on the bar and leaned right over me pushing me almost sideways to reach where she needed to put the receipt! I tutted at her and she walked off it was like i was invincable! Hospitalaty here sucks! They need to be tought how to smile! And give friendly service!

Having lived nearby for many years have only just been to China city. It’s what you expect from a buffet Chinese restaurant. Busy on a Sunday evening. Choice ok but some dishes were running out and had to wait for them to be refilled. £11.90 pp bargain. Waiting staff eager to clear plates away and friendly.

Very dated and over priced for me. Ok if you like that sort of thing 1 up from a takeaway. Staff are lovely.

Went for a family tea out. Bit disappointed really. The food wasn't that great the place wasn't all that clean. But yet the prices were up there. Not rushing back

Always loved China City been goung for years ...value for money nice food n8ce atmosphere. . noticed a change of staff in our last few visits...food not as nice ...barbecue spare rubs not as nice ...changed sauce ...a few other dishes too ...we wint be going againx

Used to visit this restaurant once a week 10 years ago. In the area and called in last Monday for lunch. Restaurant looks the same but the food was dire. It is quite difficult to make chicken breast dishes so tough they were inedible, I can only think it was all left overs reheated.

The staff were lovely very accommodating share the food pars on average to poor, it's mass produced frozen cook chill and if you are a food connoseur I rrally wouldn't bother of all the choice is only liked the chicken and sweetcorn soup and stir fried greens. I would not go back it's hectic and unfit food. Sorry but staff are super nice !

food poor with undercooked ribs, overcooked prawns which still had the black digestive tract in them, chicken that was plumped with added water to name just a few things wrong, it seems like there was a lot of new staff who weren't up to the job, outside of the building is starting to look rundown as well, we used to be very regular visitors but it was utter rubbish this time and we won't be going back again, if you want quality food go elsewhere because this was terrible

We visit here quite regularly for family occasions. The most recent being on fathers day. The place was very busy, and all the staff work so hard to accommodate however, we were sat on top of one another. We were placed next to the buffet but there was no queuing system and so people were just stood around our table in line for their food. Not great but it I wouldn't really call this an issue. Next time we will just request a table away from the buffet area.

We went as a party of 6 and thoroughly enjoyed the buffet which is an 'all you can eat. The choice is amazing and the food exceptional. The staff were attentive and friendly.

First time in a long time we visit this restaurant, at on time we enjoyed eating here, and now it has gone down the drain so much. The food is cheap and nasty. And I read the notice about there might be small bones in the duck, but when I found a bone about 2" long. And got told by the staff that the kitchen staff can't find every bones when they cut the duck up. And also got told it counted as a small bone.

We went on Tuesday evening and wished we hadn't. So many of the trays had no food in them or if they did there were only scraps, where there was food a few were not hot. Certainly our last visit. Realize now why we have given it a miss for a while.

It’s the first time I have been here. I really enjoyed the food. There was plenty of choice and the staff were very friendly and quick to remove your empty plates. It was nice and clean, a bit dated but ok. The only thing I have a problem with is that if your child is over 10 years old they are charged as an adult. I will definitely go back maybe without the children next time

Called here for a birthday meal with family.... the vegetarian choices were effectively chip, hash browns, onion rings

Love this place. Plenty of interesting starters and mains and a very good vegetarian choice. It’s always humming with people but you get fresh refills at the buffet counter all the time so you never miss out on your favourites and it’s always always hot! Good price for a good quality all you can eat

Knew that eating in a Chinese restaurant could be difficult with a GF diet so checked before hand with Manager? to be told that there were various options and all food was labelled. Sure enough above each dish was a list of allergens.

I attended this place as a second resort as we travelled 30 mile. Massively let down. A member of staff told a 9 year old child off for dropping a few noodles on the side. My partner went to the toilet and the only way he could describe them was something out of train spotting so he came straight back. Not a massive range of food but the food they had was edible however the noodles tasted of pure pepper I only expect they have done this so you drink more and they can scam you with the price of the drinks. Lastly they overcharged us all but we paid just to get the hell out of there. Never ever will I attend that place again.

Call in today as we do every other Tuesday and found a piece of metal from a pan scour in my chicken I called over a lady who as worked there for some years to tell her, I then went to the till to pay as of cause felt sick for the manager to laugh at me I even said a child could have put that in there mouth he still even laughed wouldn’t recommend this Chinese as standards have gone so down and they done care one bit

What can you ask for! All you can eat Chinese. If you fancy a massive dinner this is the place to be! Try most things on a Chinese menu. One thing could be doing a bit warmer the warming plates :)

For the price of the buffet the selection is massive, everything I had was nice. Even ice cream on tap for dessert.

Lad's night out for food we decided to go out for Chinese. So we decided on China city at glasshougton. We didn't book just called in they got us sat down within ten minutes. Staff where friendly. And it was buffet and it was really nice sometimes there a bit rubbish. But must say it was really nice best Chinese I've had in along time. Would definitely go back again

Пришли вшестером- 4 взрослых, один ребёнок и новорождённый в коляске. Нам дали большой стол. Сразу скажу, с колясками там не удобно. Очень уж место мало.

I visited China city yesterday and wasn't very happy the food was really dry and said I would never In a thousand years come again.

Been to China City many times as it’s very close by. Food is very good value for money, and there is something for everyone on a he buffet. Duck is my favourite , good choice is starters, main and a selection of fruit and ice cream to finish.

I go here regularly with my mate the service is excellent and the restaurant is very clean its sparkling they know what hygiene is here the food is excellent too it’s my favourite Chinese in castleford and it’s by far the cheapest.

Upon arrival a lovely greeting from the staff who was more than helpful to seat us with a pushchair and a few of us the food is to die for its beautiful well cooked and big chunks of meat! We even went back night after as we enjoyed it so much! The staff did not rush us at all and was there to re fill drinks when needed the food was piping hot! Will defo be going back!
