China china in Mid Devon

Pretty furious, ordered chinese to be delivered after a long day of travelling, waited an hour and 20 minutes before they called and said it would still be a long while despite the fact that we had called to check at the hour mark and they had said the delivery driver had left and would be with us at any moment. Really frustrated that they lied and could have just told us that there would be a huge delay over could cancel the order without wasting an hour and 20 mins

Very rude lady waited over 2 hrs it come wrong order she refused to send out correct order telling me bring it back when I had no transport that’s why I paid for delivery !! Then hung up very rude bad customer service I used you a lot never again will take my money some where else

Always have a fantastic takeaway from China China. 5* Food, order dealt with very quickly!

Best Chinese in Tiverton in my opinion food is lovely and the girls behind the counter are lovely severce is great so is the food 10/10 the owners are so nice can’t fault some fresh authentic Chinese food

Horrendous service. Called up and ordered and told half an hour. 2 hours later still no food. Called and asked to cancel, girl on the phone told us he was on his way. 15 minutes later, no food so went out for dinner instead. Legend has it that he is still out there for delivery.....

Food is ok but the delivery is the worst in town. Waited 2 hours for a small order and when the food eventually came it was barely warm, no apology or anything from the driver who came with his kid. The food is definitely not worth the wait i’d rather walk 30 minutes to golden panda.

Spent £33 ona meal for the family, Chinese food was ok but my daughter's chips were dry and old( looked like yesterday's reheated. We phoned to complain but were hung up on, so I went there to complain, the owner was very aggressive and would not accept that there was a problem. I was not after a refund just a replacement but he was arrogant and very dismissive and refused to do anything about the matter. There are better Chinese in Tiverton so will not feel the need to go back there. I would avoid buying from them

I ordered chicken Hong Kong style last night and even paid extra for extra chicken but it was a joke . I received a small pot of chicken that wasn't even full to the top and I hardly had any chicken. It was so disappointing considering they charged me £9 for that and with crispy noodles and a sauce it came to £19 ...A complete rip off as they don't give you full portions for such an expensive price! Won't order from this place again

The salt and pepper chicken wings was over cooked my salt and pepper chips have never seen salt and pepper and was soggy no one wants soggy chips and to top it off it took 2 hours to come not a sorry or a discount for having to wait so long never will I eat from there again

We are in tiverton to look after our grandchildren they asked if we could get Chinese and we said yes were should we go.They said China china what disgusting food we got we spent 50 pounds and it all went in the bin there were no taste to anything we asked for sweet and sour chicken balls no sauce the fried rice was burnt and had no taste it is the worst Chinese I have ever eaten never again.

Tried them because my go to Chinese was shut by 9pm despite their website claiming they're open till 10.30,only had chicken fried rice & prawn crackers but it was cooked fresh in minutes & absolutely delicious, my new go to

Love the food here. Best Chinese food I have had here, without having the need of having a gallon of water after. The only problem is that it takes over an hour to be delivered.

Don't get me wrong the food is bang on and always fills you up but recently they stopped delivering to my flat in West exe the kitchen keep refusing on this occasion I was on medication so was not able to drive but my neighbour did. I'm not sure why never had an issue before but if it continues we will find else where I'm afriad

Been ordering at least twice a month from here for a long time . Food is good but recently we have experienced issues with getting deliveries , we live 6 miles away and pay £12 - which is fine , but recently the drivers have been moaning that we’re too far away and they need more money ! In fact a driver today pretty much asked for £5 extra ! He told me he doesn’t receive the £12 delivery fee , which begs the question, who does ? £12 is £1 a mile , the driver today was driving a 1L engine car , if he did get the £12 or even £6 that’s 45 miles or 90 in fuel - so it seems we are too much of a burden for this company , and I don’t need emotional black mail before my meal - we will use Golden Palace from here on in or go and collect from Hongs - baffled by this company completely .

Had this delivery food was ok price was a bit high but noticed they had taken payment out twice so contacted via email and have had no attempt to resolve haven't been down to shop as work when open very disappointed in service.

Placed an online order, had not received so called after one and a quarter hours to be told it was with the driver. Another 45 minutes passed and no order received. Called again and they repeated it was out. Called by takeaway after 2 hours to say technical error meant delivery wasn’t sent to them. Don’t use online ordering, disappointed as always used this take away! I hope the money is refunded as promised!!!!

This whole experience was awful. The food took almost 2 hours to arrive and it wasn't worth the wait. Phoning to ask about ETA was pointless - they were completely indifferent. Never again.

Yummy food and great quality and only Chinese place order from in Tiverton

Our food arrived an hour late, but it was a Saturday night and the football was on. Plus, we made a big order, so it can be forgiven. That said, the food was excellent. My only minor quibble was that the crispy beef could have been seasoned a bit more. Otherwise, excellent quality food. The best we've had in Tiverton.

Nice food but service is terrible. We have never had a delivery on time and had to pay over the normal delivery charge because we are 3.5 miles away. We were quoted 45 minutes on this particular occasion and after ringing and chasing our order it arrived an hour and a half after ordering and to top it all off we were made to feel bad for complaining due to the age of the staff member we spoke to. The service and communication between staff needs some work! Perhaps they should stop doing deliveries until they can adequately manage it.

Stay away from the chicken. I had a red curry and got food poisoning. Spent the night being sick

Pretty mediocre quality. Too much sauce (corn starch) thickening and salty which made the food taste bland. However, portions were large. I did think it was quite expensive at £56.

Basic take away. Indifferent service, no please or thank you when you order. Always get impression taking an order is a chore. Hardly ever see the chef/owners out front.

Popped into Tiverton to see the family and had a takeaway from here. Honestly the best Chinese I’ve had in a long time! Lots of choice, didn’t take too long either as I collected. Even thinking about it now makes me salivate!

The food here is amazing. Unfortunately, on this occasion, it arrive half an hour late and the delivery driver thought it would be appropriate to mouth off at my son over the refusal of a 10p tip.

Super disappointed and will never order from here again. It was a telephone order, it came to £44.90. Received the food and checked to see if we had received everything, we were missing two dishes. Rang up the shop, got told to “hang on a second” before even speaking, explained the issue (missing two dishes and received chips we did not order). The lady told us that, that was our order, that we ordered chips and not the two missing dishes. Yet, if you add up what we supposedly ordered, it doesn’t amount £44.90. Incredibly disappointing service.

In Tiverton helping my sister move and used China China because of the good reviews. The food may have been hot as in hot, but absolutely no flavour or spice to the curry, very bland indeed. Sorry but won't be using this place again.

Food is always great, my 1st choice for a good take out in Tiverton. Prices are fair and competitive. Service is very fast compared to some other takeouts around. Never any disappointments

Good food but don't believe the time for food to be ready when collecting, they don't start cooking until you arrive to collect at the advised time.
