Delivery time was amazing, food was good quality and tasty. Only bad thing was, the sauce wasn't honey/chilli. It was sweet and sour.

I spend a fortune here, always great, but tonight I ordered, never got my food and no one is answering the phone. Very disappointed.

Ordered chicken chow mein & curry sauce. Faultless & delicious. Packaging of the meals was so neat and thought out to ensure no spillages. Definitely will be back.

After reading the reviews and this sounding like a really nice Chinese I’m left feeling a little disappointed. The satay wasn’t very nice and the chicken itself in the curry and satay skewers tasted strange. Hopefully it’s just a one off.

Salt and chilli tofu is the best I've had! Used this place for years, we love the food and always fast delivery

Ribs had no meat on them! Sauce was not at all nice. Noodles where mushy and over cooked. Dont know how this made 4.5 star!

I can't believe the portion sizes! it's incredible. everything is so tasty. Delivery was longer than usual due to the storm but I knew that when ordering and was so pleased everything arrived piping hot. Thank you to all the staff and delivery woman for working in horrible conditions.

My order has not come and so please arrange full refund. Understand extreme weather but very disappointed that place taking orders and money for meals and not delivering. Should have stated at outset that restaurant was not taking orders.

This used to be such a good takeaway, however prices have shot up and now is absolute fortune for food. And the quality has dropped off a cliff, chips are tiny French fries and prawn toast is tiny and thin. Would avoid now, such a shame.

Wasn’t great tonight .. salt n chilli never tasted like usual it was rotten .. usually comes within half an hour .. took over an hour and turned up cold n soggy .. worst meal iv had from here .. I hope this isn’t goin to be the new standard because I usually love this place

could not ear tge chicken curry or beef curry that there was so much salt in I think they put tge sea in my curry

Roast duck & black bean Sauce :)

The duck curry is amazing. I find it can be difficult to find places that do decent duck dishes but this place does it perfectly

I usually enjoy the food from here, however the order tonight was horrible, lumpy hard pieces of rice, chips were not cooked properly and no onions in the curry sauce

curry was very spicy when never asked for this and went In bin and over 3 pound for half a bag if prawn crackers

Fried rice is just one stuck together block, same as the honey chilli chicken, stayed the shape of the container when poured out. Salt and pepper chicken was the only edible thing

DISGUSTING rice is like slushed up brown cement and don’t even get me started on there “salt and chili “ one load of a million ground spices wacked onto chips no veg or nothing chicken was very very soggy I don’t recommend at all nothing like the pictures on just eat I warn you not to order don’t waste your money like I did x

ordered special chow mean: was very bland. BBQ ribs with sauce: too tough, bbq sauce was ok. satay sauce: inedible. gravy sauce: inedible. these sauces don't taste right at all. the mini salt and pepper spring rolls were beautiful. I would maybe try again incase it was a one off

food was lovely....however we ordered 55£ worth of food and we never got complimentary prawn crackers

I have ordered so many times from china chef and after tonight I don’t think I will use again! The 2 rice portions were completely overcooked it was all mushed and stuck together also ordered a plain thin noodles which were tasteless and also cold spent over £48 and didn’t even receive free prawn crackers.

Nice pancake rolls. Beef curry very thick and stodgy would not order again.

The meal that i had was absolutely vile, i could only manage 3 forkfuls before i had to throw in the towel. It left an awful taste in my mouth. I dont say this lightly but i honestly wouldnt feed that to the foxes.

I order from China chef on a regular basis. Last order though the fried rice was very staugy to the point it came out of tray as one lump. I put it down to a one off but ordered again tonight and same problem. unfortunately I wont be ordering again. shame as usually good :(

Best Chinese in East End of Glasgow. I order from here on my weekend treats. The salt n chilli chicken balls are amazing. Great sized portions for the curries. Staff always super friendly and helpful.

requested some gray on the chow mein which didn't happen so rather disappointing and no prawn crackers like most places do for orders of £30. Chicken curry was OK could do with more sauce and less onions.

All the food was very bland. like the bbq sauce was more like tomato soup with a subtle hint of bbq. satay sauce was OK, if you thought about peanuts while eating it you could kinda taste it. the chow mein had no flavour and was overcooked. even the salt n pepper chicken was very plain. Just a very, meh not bad but not good meal.

Usually like ordering from here but tonight was a big let down. The chicken noodle soup was really nice but the salt and chilli chips with fried rice and curry sauce snack box was disgusting. Couldn't eat it as the rice was over cooked and all stuck together in clumps. Won't be ordering for a while

Ordered a chicken curry snack box, chicken was nice and the flavour of the sauce but there wasn’t much sauce so was quite dry. Dry hard lumps throughout the rice. Chips were undercooked and soggy, wouldn’t order again

10/10 never have to wait long and the food is amazing I'll always order from here, I get the chicken curry with rice, chicken chow mein, spring rolls, prawn crackers, absloute elite

We avoided this place for years because of a few bad experiences.. tried it tonight n all I can say is what an absolute turn around .. delivery came in like 20 mins .. food way piping .. the salt n chilli beef is sumit else wow .. curry sauce is like the old Chinese curry from years ago, amazing.. mixed started was all fresh .. thanks for the lovely meal we’ll definitely be back

Always use China Chef for our Chinese takeaway and have done for a good while. The food is always very tasty and plentiful. Prices on a par with other establishments but with the locality of the establishment means it’s perfect for us. If we were not satisfied then we would not order but this establishment gets our vote every time.

I’m not one to ever leave a bad review but the meal that was delivered to me was absolutely abysmal. I haven’t ordered from here in a long long time and I’m actually shocked. 100% was not a fresh cooked order. Never ever again. Order was over £40 and not even the decency to give prawn crackers. Massively overpriced for the dog meat that was sent. Consider else where if your wanting fresh cooked food

Haven't ordered in a while but still hands down the best Chinese food around, food was all roasting hot and freshly cooked and tasted amazing. Only wish it was possible to order a smaller bag of prawn crackers though as it's too many for us!
