requested some gray on the chow mein which didn't happen so rather disappointing and no prawn crackers like most places do for orders of £30. Chicken curry was OK could do with more sauce and less onions.

Brilliant as always, food was fresh and tasted great

rice was hard / no seasoning and the curry sauce was bland- chips undercooked

All the food was very bland. like the bbq sauce was more like tomato soup with a subtle hint of bbq. satay sauce was OK, if you thought about peanuts while eating it you could kinda taste it. the chow mein had no flavour and was overcooked. even the salt n pepper chicken was very plain. Just a very, meh not bad but not good meal.

Usually like ordering from here but tonight was a big let down. The chicken noodle soup was really nice but the salt and chilli chips with fried rice and curry sauce snack box was disgusting. Couldn't eat it as the rice was over cooked and all stuck together in clumps. Won't be ordering for a while

Food left me and my boyfriend with food poisoning. Used to love this place but will never order from here again

This is my new favourite Chinese, chicken curry hot is so good , was disappointed tho when you accepted my order for collection on Wednesday and was shut tho

10/10 never have to wait long and the food is amazing I'll always order from here, I get the chicken curry with rice, chicken chow mein, spring rolls, prawn crackers, absloute elite

Ordered a chicken curry snack box, chicken was nice and the flavour of the sauce but there wasn’t much sauce so was quite dry. Dry hard lumps throughout the rice. Chips were undercooked and soggy, wouldn’t order again

We avoided this place for years because of a few bad experiences.. tried it tonight n all I can say is what an absolute turn around .. delivery came in like 20 mins .. food way piping .. the salt n chilli beef is sumit else wow .. curry sauce is like the old Chinese curry from years ago, amazing.. mixed started was all fresh .. thanks for the lovely meal we’ll definitely be back

Always use China Chef for our Chinese takeaway and have done for a good while. The food is always very tasty and plentiful. Prices on a par with other establishments but with the locality of the establishment means it’s perfect for us. If we were not satisfied then we would not order but this establishment gets our vote every time.

Food was still hot chips a bit cold.. but tasty

I’m not one to ever leave a bad review but the meal that was delivered to me was absolutely abysmal. I haven’t ordered from here in a long long time and I’m actually shocked. 100% was not a fresh cooked order. Never ever again. Order was over £40 and not even the decency to give prawn crackers. Massively overpriced for the dog meat that was sent. Consider else where if your wanting fresh cooked food

Haven't ordered in a while but still hands down the best Chinese food around, food was all roasting hot and freshly cooked and tasted amazing. Only wish it was possible to order a smaller bag of prawn crackers though as it's too many for us!

Can’t big up this place anymore. It’s my go to Chinese always. Everyone I’ve had has been brilliant. Delivery is always super fast or still early. Brilliant x

Food was fab. Ordered a chicken curry with fried rice and chips. Nice soft chicken not the rubbery garbage. Curry sauce was so good like back to the good days before some Chinese restaurants started using packet curry sauce. Fried rice was tasty as well and the chips were nicely cooked not overcooked. Only minor problem was it was late but not a problem as it was worth the wait. My first time ordering and sure won’t be the last. Would recommend if you like a good curry.

Food is usually great but think because it was a bit busy the spring rolls we got were over cook and quite chewy.

Regularly order from here as it’s one of our favourite Chinese takeaways. Always tasty, with HUGE portions and good quality food and a lovely delivery driver. However tonight I was SO disappointed. Ordered my usual chicken satay and I couldn’t eat it. The chicken was disgusting. So many takeaway have opted for cheap, jelly like processed chicken and unfortunately it looks like you have went the same way. Please revert back to your normal chicken as this was truly awful.

The chicken was lovely and soft and it was the most meat I've ever had in a curry anywhere. The only thing was there was just to much curry sauce which Isn't a bad thing.

Food hot and tasty. Good portion sizes. Even got two fortune cookies but sadly no prawn crackers despite a £30 order. Would use again.

Best Chinese I've had - big portions & fresh tasty, non greasy food. loved the spring rolls! I had loads of leftovers. delivery person was really nice too.

Unfortunately both dishes tasted the same with same veges. The satay was nothing like a satay, both just very very very salty, to the point they are unpalatable 😩 I’m really sorry but these dishes need to be re evaluated… or else I just caught you on a bad night 😩

Salt and chilli very hot I know this is preference but mean wife and kids couldn’t eat them, prawns over done as well as chicken balls over done and dry, prawn toast was over done also, rest of food was ok, but very disappointed in standard of food for price as ain’t the cheapest

Cantonese style sweet and sour chicken snack box is my favourite, by far my favourite chinese, food is always piping hot, full of flavour and fast delivery, highly recommend

Food was delivered very quickly, which was a little concerning, although I was surprised at how hot the food still was, the taste of the salt and chilli chicken, chips, curry sauce, was so tasty. The rice was a little clumpy and hard unfortunately. I do like soft, tasty rice from a Chinese. Had to throw some of it out. Please take note and hope this doesn’t happen again if I decide to order from here. But over all, very nice and quick. Thank you.

Worst 17 pound I have ever spent. Used this place another too, must be new shef, no refund when I hade to walk to shop to complain as they wouldn't answer phone. No refund or apology, rip off

Orderd last week had to call 3 time as was 2 hours late after said delivered joke full munch box was soggy and cold staff so unhelpful just kept saying it in it way

I ordered 2 chicken curry’s only one was delivered I called up to explain The customer service was horrible disgraceful They even argued about our chips going cold while waiting on another delivery they asked for the cold chips back Disgusting

AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!! The customer service is the worst I’ve EVER experienced. The review only let me leave 1 star minimum, otherwise it would have been 0 stars. Ordered from here tonight with my partner as our usual Chinese was closed. When the food arrived my partner’s order was right but mine was wrong so we phoned and asked for a replacement for mine. They said we couldn’t get a replacement and told us to keep the wrong meal and get a free one another time. We then asked for a refund and they said we’d have to go to the shop to get the refund ourselves even though we had got a delivery in the first place. What a disgusting way to treat your customers. Felt sorry for the girl in the shop dealing with the phone calls as her manager refused to come on the phone and let her deal with it instead. This is the worst takeaway service I’ve ever come across.

Food is OK, personally for me sauce is a bit too spicy. Menu a tad pricey for a takeaway though. I know they have passed their hygiene safety certificate but they leave the back door to the kitchen open. Not the wisest in my opinion when you have an area with lots of derelict grounds nearby.

Best Chinese Takeaway in Glasgow, I have used this takeaway for over 10 years and it never disappoints the Food is ABSOLUTELY delicious nothing is too much trouble to prepare the food as you request it, Staff are Lovely especially JACKIE I am always greeted with a lovely telephone manner even when they are at their busiest. I highly Recommend the Sweet & Sour King Prawn Balls, Salt & chilli Ribs or Roast pork with green pepper in Black bean sauce OHHH and the Plain chicken wings i like them with lemon on them they are DELICIOUS TOO. looking forward to placing my Next Order very soon. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS PRAWN CRACKERS TOO best I've ever had BIG YUMMMS

Always get a great meal here with very fair portions. Food is never too greasy and the one time I had an issue with an order I contacted them on Facebook and was offered a free meal. Great service, my go to almost every Friday night.

Food is fab but staff could be friendlier even a little smile goes a long long way.

Awful, two meals both tasted minging chicken in not natural and not chicken breast, spring roll clearly re heated from a box. Nor going back here, would not recomend

Ordered the chicken fried rice (with sauce; not optional). Possibly the worst I've tasted. The rice was a dark soggy brown mush. The sauce was dark, gloopy and had a weird smokey sour flavour. The egg was stringy like rubber. I will say the order arrived super quickly! But I do not recommend the chicken fried rice. Overall, not a good time.

One word REVOLTING chicken noodle soup tasted as if it was done in gravy. Chips looked and tasted as if they were made last week. The chicken curry was like eating rubber. BBQ ribs tasted like slop . Youz should be ashamed of yourselves for trying to pass this of as food . Worse take away I have ever ordered. Food was also cold and late and delivery driver rude and stated she was in a rush. £30 down the drain . Absolute disgrace .1 rating not worthy of any stars would not let me post so had to rate it 1 star.

States free delivery. Charged £3 delivery. Contacted Just Eat who say it's within 3 miles (I live 0.4 miles away) and contacted restaurant who deny this and say it's over £60. Nowhere does it say this. They are coming up first on Just Eat if it's filtered for cheapest delivery. Nobody wanted to resolve this issue. Customer service shocking.

The best Chinese takeaway in Glasgow! Delivery time is always shorter than expected, the food is delicious and always arrives nice and hot due to the way everything is packaged.

This was worst ever that I've had in a very long time.. Tbh don't think I'll order from here again everything was just tasteless horrible curry sauce gravy looked like Tar rice was rotten just didn't enjoy my food at all.

This shop if not safe to eat from they cook all there food before the shop even opens . I'm calling environmental health . Made my son unwell. Got a refund as then knew I was right even the delivery driver knew I was right .

Friendly staff, delicious food and freebies when you spend over a certain amount.

Their distributor littered our entrance with unwanted leaflets. They just threw them on the floor under the main door; did not even bother to ring a bell or deliver at each door. Very unprofessional.

Value for money and happy staff. Don't know what everyone is bitching about! Trolls!
