Lady on the phone is rude and certain chefs can't adhere to allergen when people have allergies but other days they can joke

Lovely food. I had never tried this takeaway, but after tonight’s food I would definitely visit again. The salt and chilli chips are the best I’ve had. BBQ spare ribs were plentiful and in a nice sauce. Very good. Prise wise it is about on par with all other Chinese restaurants.

Best chilli chips ever! As a family we love this Chinese. It always arrives quickly. The food is fresh and tasty and unlike a lot of Chinese restaurants in the area it is not overly salty. Most importantly though the chilli chips are amazing. China chef is the the only Chinese in this area that has fresh chopped ingredients going into their chilli chips and their classic flat shape is also unlike other restaurants in the area. please don’t change the recipe china chef.

First time ordering as my other Chinese was closed and definitely impressed will be using again the food was hot delicious and cheaper then the others friendly when delivered

We had our order delivered tonight. Except our sweet and sour chicken balls were missing their sauce. We called up and were told that there was no way anyone would be able to deliver the sauce any time soon. In the end we had to go and pick the sauce up ourselves, completely defeating the point of ordering for delivery. We even paid a delivery fee! Also, the 1/4 duck with pancakes that we ordered was quite possibly the most embarrassing portion size I've ever seen, especially when considering the eye watering price of £9.50 that we paid. It's safe to say we won't be ordering from here again, and I highly recommend you don't either.

Just had my first meal from here ( was recommended) and it was amazing, quick delivery, friendly drive, ample food that tasted great. Definitely be using you again!

Both me and my partner have both had a few take outs here recently and both loved it I personally loved the service the lady who gives the food is incredibly friendly I've not had one problem so far

Ordered the set meal for 2 and wasn’t disappointed at all.2x prawn cocktail(lovely and fresh and loads of prawns) Beef in black bean sauce with green peppers,loads of beef and really tender not chewy like other Chinese takeaways,sweet and sour Hong Kong style which was perfect,lovely and sweet with loads of chicken and 2x yung chow fried rice which had loads of little bits in there. Well worth the money,will defo be ordering it again.

This is the second time on the bounce that China chef as got our order wrong the first time two dishes did not come and the second time the same this second time we called then straight away and the person on the other end said we are only human well that's not good enough this will be the last time we will order from China chef the only regret that the food is good

Puka and take contactless over 5pound. Literally anything you ask for comes with optional prawn crackers for small charge. Seriously though all veg if isn't totally fresh are crunchy and sauces are delisiously and not over bearing.

Ordered a Beef curry and BBQ ribs. What i got when i got home was what can only be described as Slop ! B&M have a curry mix it was just like that with beef that was stringy and uneatable ,threw it away ,. Onto the ribs ,first bite tasted dirty , worst fooe i have ever seen ot had ,will Never Use this place again

Absolutely vile!!!! I asked for sesame prawn toast and I got fried bread with sesame seeds on!! It had never seen a prawn...... Really disappointed!!! Utterly disgusting 🤢

We haved used China Chef as our regular go to chinese take away for over a decade and are normally very happy with the food. But the last 2 times we have ordered we found the food has been sub par quality. Not what we have come to expect from you over the years. The main issue for us are the bbq ribs and chilli ribs. They have become very disappointing and come with hardly any meat on the bones and probably 90% is gristle and fat. Please can you do something to improve this in the future as we feel we really wasted our money and are being put off ordering from you anymore.

Great takeaway, good food, use it a lot

Can't believe this was on our doorstep, for year's we've been usually ordering from Just Eat. Trust me the food is Amazing and restored my faith back in Chinese Takeaways, definitely a firm weekend favourite. Its a shame you don't offer credit card on delivery, you could offer chip and pin on the door step. Plan to have cash at home, your won't be disappointed!!!

Over an hour and half late! And this was a Wednesday I phoned up to ask where my food was got an excuse that she thought I asked for a set time to be delivered which I didn't! She also had attitude then when it was delivered was cold the delivery driver was rude when I said I'm sorry but I don't eat cold food so I refused to pay and told her to send it back!

If you want your order to be wrong and spoken to rudely when you ring to see if it can be changed then told it will be 20mintues (not good customer service)! Cold food too so I wouldn’t order from here again!

Have always eaten here. Food is always top, the manager takes service and quality of food very seriously. Regulars are treated like friends and staff are always polite.

Been coming here for the last 10 years or so - not only the best Chinese in the area but also the best place to eat in the bar well/earl Shilton area! Just be sure to order as close to 5 as possible as it tends to be quite busy after 6ish - that's what you get with an exceptional takeaway though!

Very poor my sweet and sour balls were burnt one of the worst Chineses I've ever had. They then expected me to drive back and return the faulty balls to receive a replacement.

Awful experience food delivered cold because apparently driver couldn't find address so I phoned the takeaway back but no answer so rangry bck wen they was open to be told in a rude manner that it was my fault!! Never have I complained about anything and 1st time in do I was spoken to in such a horrible way . The food was thrown in bin as all I could see was fat/grease floating on top I will try to add pictures to this review so u can see for yourselves. AVOID AVOID AVOID
