We did not have food so no rating This party venue will not disappoint Great engagement from start and throughout by helping us even put up decorations for my daughters 21st in Nov 2024 prior to guests arriving. Couldn’t do enough to help We hired the back room and outside area and even though a 40th in bar room the two parties complimented each other with both having own music and seemed totally seperate. You share toilet and bar but you know that before booking and it makes no impact on your celebrations Highly recommend for stress free fun venue at great location

Had a party here for my brother. Kyle and the team made everything perfect from music to coming in early to let us decorate the room. The venue is decorated perfectly and would highly recommend for any occasion! Special thanks to Big Al….xxx

This is a great place to hire for a party. Went to a friends birthday do - an 80s night - great atmosphere and ambience!

Hired this venue to celebrate my Leap Year birthday. Absolutely fantastic venue - I hired the whole place on a Friday night and we bought our own decks and DJs. The soundsystem is brilliant and guests danced the night away. Special thanks to Kyle for being so accommodating and endlessly patient in the run up to my party (typical party pre-jitters were in full swing and Kyle went above and beyond to put my mind at rest on a few points). I was also really impressed by how clean the place is, no sticky floors here! Kyle and his team work hard to make it feel 100% *your* night. A mention also to Kyle's Dad who does the door but made everyone's night with his good humour and banter. We had the best fun and I will be back in 4-years for my 14th birthday!

We had a great time at Chimp House for my partner's 40th birthday. Kyle the manager is very accomodating, always happy to help - he made the party organisation super easy.

Good venue for a small party, bar, toilets and a few seats all in one small room. It's the people you're with that make the party, so we had a great time. I believe you can book half the place, which our hosts did, or the whole place, the price will increase accordingly. Apparently, the capacity is around 100 people. There were approx 50 people when we were there and it was comfortably crowded, 100 would be pushing it IMHO. Very limited selection of beers, only one on tap.

An absolute cracker of a party venue! We had our single music launch here. The guy running the venue was so nice and helpful. Lovely bar staff on the night too. Super cheap drinks for the location. We had a 3 piece band play and there was still lots of room for 50+ guests. Can’t recommend this place enough for a private function!

We had a special party here on a Sunday afternoon through to the evening and Kyle and Alan the owners were welcoming and accommodating to our needs. We were able to hire the whole place and it was great to have some people in the garden at the back and some inside listening and dancing to music. Plenty of seating for everyone who needed it. We even enjoyed wonderful balloon decorations that a previous party had kindly left behind! A memorable celebration with fantastic hosts! I highly recommend Chimp House as it is a dedicated party venue and they know exactly what they are doing.

Just had our colleagues end of term leaving party here this weekend and had a great time! Staff were super friendly and accommodating. Its a good space for a party and has a nicely sized outdoor space too. Kyle was really helpful when we arrived early to put up decorations and I'm pretty certain everyone had a great time and the guys had a great send-off. Thankyou Chimp house!

Myself and my fiance hosted our engagement party here at chimp house last night. 70 ish guests, 2 DJ’s, some absolute legends who run the place (Kyle) and a special mention to Tash on the bar who just made my night even more enjoyable she was so friendly to all our guests! Went for a great nightout dancing with tunes by DJ hipreplacements...team at Chimp House perfect in everyway.

Wine selection was very poor, only one red and white. The white was almost like vinegar.

The garden is currently closed and front entrance is small. It gets extremely hot inside

Absolutely wicked night! Amazing staff, amazing venue, amazing owner!! Owner helped us set up, had a great laugh and kept the drinks flowing all night! The staff were great and ended up joining in on the party and the venue was just perfect! We’ll definitely be coming back and would recommend to anyone who’s looking for a party venue. Nice venue for a private party with an outside back area for smoking. Due to residential location the outside back area is not open all night. The owner is a gentleman and glasses are collected promptly.

I had my 50th Birthday Party there on a week day and all my friends and family members came out. We had full access to the whole venue. At the back area we had the food and cake with some tables and at the front area with a few tables, Dj booth and the dance floor. I was able to add my own decorations to theirs, they provided a happy birthday balloon which worked in with my colour theme, it ooked lovely I was very happy. Hire cost very reasonable. Alan's help was amazing throughout. Carl his son managed the bar. 10/10😀🎶🎁🎉🍹

You book a section of the place. You drink low priced drinks. No frills.

It's always too hot. I can't breath. Never coming back unless they install air con. Poor choices in drinks.

Great place for party. Daughter had her birthday party there. Very accommodating staff, relaxed and easy going. Helped to create a brilliant atmosphere. Very nicely priced. Definitely recommend.

Always welcoming. I had a great night for my mum's 60th birthday. Such a perfect venue with a great outdoor space at the back.

Small place with seating around the outside, decent size dance floor area. Staff were very friendly and a good selection of drinks draught and bottled behind the bar.

Essentially a room with beer taps in it. But then again, what is every pub and bar?
