Locale eccellente.... piatti ottimi e di qualità, porzioni grandi e il loro margarita il migliore che abbia bevuto nei miei viaggi in europa!!! Se vi trovate a Londra andateci anche se non è proprio in centroma è vicino sia alla metro che lla station grigia... Ottimo anche il pudding

Nos alojamos en el Premier Inn cerca de este restaurante. Creo que el lugar podría hacer con un poco de renovación, pero era precioso y acogedor! El personal era fantástico y la mayoría de todos los deliciosos comida!!! Volver al mismo hotel de nuevo este año y sin duda visitar este restaurante de nuevo!

This is our favourite Chimichanga branch! We've been several times. Food is always great, staff are always nice and the interior is interesting. Very cosy too!

El restaurante estaba muy cerca de nuestro hotel Premier Inn. Reservamos una mesa para 27 de 2014 Octubre @ 6:00 pm. No había demasiados en en este momento de la noche, pero el lugar fue un poco de un 'luna le faltaba bar" y a cualquier ambiente. Aunque el personal era averagely atento, el no era súper agradable y no puedo decir que se desvivieron para asegurarse de que nuestra visita fue memorable - Me da la impresión de que no tienen a medida que repiten y por lo tanto no preocuparse tratando de hacer que su visita sea especial ya que probablemente no volvimos de todos modos. La comida estaba bien presentada, estaba caliente, pero no era nada especial. Mientras que no me puedo quejar de la comida que no era lo que esperaba de alguna manera. ¿que si volveré? ... hmmm ... quizás, pero no la primera elección.

Food was delicious, cocktails were amazing (2 for 1 during happy hour). Decoration was brilliant, every time you looked there was something new to look at. Would recommend and return when in area.

Positive: nice decor, nice service and lovely terrace. Nice drinks. Negative: food is really average, nothing special. Ice cream have no flavour. Food is expensive for what you get.

Este fue un descubrimiento de oportunidad, camino de mi área habitual pero debido a una visita a un hospital cercano y con necesidad de sostenimiento estaba atraído por la cabina de teléfono rojo ubicado fuera de las instalaciones. Una muy cálida bienvenida del personal era una buena manera de comenzar la noche y ser happy hour era llamado para un cóctel. Esto resultó ser excelente me fue invitado a probar otra y no me pude resistir! Me gusta el ambiente del restaurante, se ha hecho un esfuerzo para capturar una sensación de México en la decoración, aunque tengo que decir que a los muchos viajes que he realizado a ese país nunca tropezamos con algo así. El menú ofrece una buena elección y los platos pedimos vino a la mesa bastante rápido y resultó ser muy sabrosa. Las bebidas tienen un precio razonable con una buena selección en todas las zonas. El tarro mexicano cóctel es especialmente bueno, así como la Rioja, que también es muy buena relación calidad-precio. La noche era tan agradable que volví unos días más tarde con huéspedes diferentes. Una vez más me calurosamente y otra comida agradable seguido. Mis huéspedes estaban tan contentos como yo estaba con todos los aspectos de este restaurante.

This is a nice and cost effective place to eat in the belsize park area The restaurant has a lovely front terrace looking out into the street and the food was tasty, fresh and the service was quick and pleasant

Nice location, an area we had not visited before. It was very quiet but when busy could imagine it being a very good atmosphere; good music, appropriate decor. Tasty fresh food and great friendly service. Would return.

Went to this restaurant on Sunday afternoon with friends, great service and lovely food. The restaurant is close to the tube (northern line) and on the high street. The food was delicious and the menu varied with a good choice of food and drinks (great for cocktails to wash down with the food) and the cost will not break the bank.

Per lo standard di cucina a Londra, questo posto è sicuramente stato il migliore di tutti! Tra l'altro vicinissimo al ns appartamento a Belsize. Personale è molto cordiale e disponibile. Servizio ai tavoli puntuale. Vi consiglio di provare i burritos... buonissimi!Solo con questo piatto uscite sazi e soddisfatti! Giusto rapporto qualità/prezzo!

Really enjoyed our couple of hours at Chimichangas. The sun was shining and they have a really lovely outdoor seating area. The food was really great, so tasty, and good value for money. Will definitely go back. Just wish this place had been there when I lived in Belsize Park! Will definitely go back.

This restaurant 30 seconds walk from the Premier Inn where we were staying so ideally located for a quiet dinner after a busy day of sightseeing in Camden. Lovely food, great service and fairly quiet for a Saturday night (in a pretty quiet area).

I received a voucher from Chimichanga for free nachos, after my last review on Tripadvisor, so as I was returning to London for another theatre visit I decided to use it. A really large plate of Nachos with a really spicy salsa, and for a main I ordered chicken Enchilada with rice and black beans, everything was so delicious, and a chilled glass of cranberry juice completed the perfect lunch.. All of the staff are so friendly and helpful. The restaurant is so clean both inside and out.

Probably one of my favourite restaurants! MUST have the fajitas! Great value and great atmosphere. I've been back numerous times and it's always just as good. And don't forget to get the churros for dessert!

Walked up Haverstock Hill after a matinee theatre visit and noticed this Mexican restaurant, there were a few people seated outside, a bit chilly for me. I was shown into the conservatory at the rear, a beautiful room, so calming, love the well kept plants outside and the gorilla. I was handed 3 menus and decided on the 2/3 course set menu with a drink. Starter: Chorizo potato skins, 2 potato skins loaded with potato, diced chorizo and cheese and served with sour cream with a salad garnish, tasty. Main: Chicken burrito, a massive burrito filled with chicken, onion, cheese and peppers, served with rice and black beans, guacamole, tortilla strips and drizzled with sour cream, delicious, the burrito is packed with filling. The drink I chose was Brahma lager, really refreshing. The food is fabulous. The staff are really charming and friendly. The restaurant is spotlessly clean and comfortable. I was too full to order a dessert, the bill for the food and drink was £13.95 a bargain.

Overall good with friendly service and tasty food. Good location near Belsize Park tube station. Cheaper option at lunchtime but fairly reasonable over all. Good if you want a quick meal.

When you are after a quick meal this does the job. Staff were very friendly. Food was average, cocktails were very good. It's a chain so didn't have high expectations. The chicken was a bit reconstituted and the extra spicey was not at all spicey, but we really enjoyed the wings, nachos and burger. Guacamole and salsa both tasted really fresh. A bubbly atmosphere made it a great stop for a quick bite

Had dinner here and quite liked the food. They had good vegetarian variety and were happy to customize. Would love to go back.

Second visit to this restaurant in a short time. Sat out in the conservatory. It was fairly quiet in there. Pleasant staff and enjoyable food. Good location, close to tube and shops. Usually lunch time menu prices are cheaper than the evening menu, but during the month of December, lunch time prices were the same as evening prices! Still recommended though!

5 of us had a very good meal here. Reasonably priced and enhanced by a charming cheerful waitress. It was Boxing day and it was pretty busy and the staff worked really hard. We enjoyed the experience very much

Really nice staff and amazing food. Had the grande nachos with chilli con carne for a starter probably the best nachos I've very had. Good mains and reasonably priced beer. 3 mains and 3 starters 6 beers £83 not bad.

Just about everything was below average ... and away below expectations .. Don't go here ,, it is far from authentic .. and you know what unauthentic ethnic food tastes like yuk

Went to Chimichanga for lunch with colleagues. We all ordered different food but when it arrived it looked the same! A parcel placed on a bed of dry rice and kidney beans with some drops of soured cream around and some salad leaves. It has nothing to do with real Mexican food. Need a beak to pick up that dry food.

Living in belsize park we had often walked past and wanted to pop in - so on a beautiful evening we popped in. We ordered two beers and the nachos with another sharing starter with the intention of ordering a main after. I have eaten a lot of mexican and I would rate this as mexican food that a dodgy Whetherspoon pub would serve. We complain and did not continue to order mains. We had one of the starters knocked off the bill, which was good, but £18 for two beers and some nachos (which were of the poorest quality) left a bitter taste.I will not be returning - cheap ingredients and not authentic. The staff all look miserable and like they hated being there.

This is a cool place and location. The food is fresh but not so Mexican authentic. It certainly feels like a "chain" menu with no personal considerations. The portions are small and the cost doesn't always reflect this. So, I am fifty-fifty recommending this place. The good thing about it is that the location - Belsize Park, the chilli sauces and the outdoor seating. So, if you are in need of a quick Mexican-type fix then go for it. But don't start comparing how much you could have saved and how much better a culinary experience you could have had in Giraffe or GBK.

Good food, good service, good atmosphere & excellent margaritas..had a very enjoyable time here with friends, was looking for a good Mexican restaurant in London & I've found one of them!

The food here offered a wide variety of Mexican foods similar to those found in Texas with a bit of California Mexican food thrown in. The wait staff was very courteous and the food came without too much of a wait. The prices were typical for a meal out in London and the food quality was excellent. Deserts were great, beer was cold and the food was the spiciness that was indicated on the menu.This is a gem of a find.

Went there for lunch with a friend today (28th May 2013) and was pleasantly surprised. Hadn't been quite sure what to expect after reading the reviews on here but everything turned out fine. As I'd never been to Belsize Park before I thought I must have gone past the place when trying to find it as its past the end of the Parade of shops, and at first it wasn't clear if it was open. However once in staff were friendly and helpful and we were given the lunch menu automatically. The main menu looked a tad overpriced, particularly for the steaks, but I found that the lunch menu had a good enough range (burritos, quesadillas and burgers) and at £7.95 for a generous and very filling portion and a drink it proved good value for money (especially when you consider that most restaurants charge around £2.00-£3.00 just for a drink, meaning the food cost little more than a sandwich would. The food itself was pretty reasonable- fairly tasty, just could have done with a little more sour cream and gaucamole.All in all it was a great option for someone looking to eat out on a budget, its just no fine dining option.

Having been 'flyer-ed' their advert, especially for a good-value lunch, I popped-in to have their £7.95 lunch and was presented with a 'Special Lunch' menu. I thought I'd kick-off with a cocktail so ordered a 'blue angel' margarita, plus a pint of Brahma beer. This duly came while I decided on the food; not difficult as there was very little choice.I ordered the Chicken Grande Quesadilla, billed as a 'Mexican Speciality', to be served drizzled with sour cream, with Mexican rice and chipotle sauce.. The Quaesadilla was dry and over -cooked with insufficient chicken content, the rice was similarly dry with just a flavouring of Mexican beans. The chipotle sauce was like a McDonalds tomato sauce, without flavour or tanginess. I asked for more sour cream which duly came in a little pot. As I started to eat the Quesadilla, it became apparent that at least 25% of the pastry (outer-edge) was overcooked and dry, so would be wasted. The filling was also somewhat tasteless. When a waitress came by to ask if "everything was ok", I said " not really, it's not what I expected". She shrugged her shoulders and walked off. Soon after, another waitress came past and asked the same question. I gave the same answer. This time, she said "Shall I bring you something different?" Having now been half-way through my meal, I said "No thank you. I'll finish the dish as it is". The original waitress then re-appeared and pointed out that my set lunch menu entitled me to a soft drink or an 'upgrade' to a beer for £1. I pointed-out to her that this had not been mentioned before I had ordered the Brahma beer, so perhaps she could credit my bill with the £1. She politely said that this was not possible as the "system cannot handle it".This restaurant is DEFINITELY NOT a Mexican food place, as it advertises itself to be. It is a Tex-Mex chain restaurant i.e. serving Americanised mexican dishes. No true Mexican would eat here, especially as London is the Food Capital of the world and genuine Mexican food can be had at numerous places in the city eg Mustizo, Cantina Laredo, Boho Mexica, Chico Bandito etc. If the restaurant made this distinction clear, then it would be better able to meet customers' expectations. And as a TexMex place, it should do well; especially with local families and American visitors.

Popped in for a quick lunch, fancying a quesadilla. Service was uninterested and almost rude. Menu was poor - an extra £1 for cheese on your nachos? My quesadilla didn't really taste of anything until I emptied half a bottle of hot sauce on to them. Served with a sorry looking dollop of rice. Staff really don't seem to care, and there was a bad atmosphere in the restaurant. It was just a chain Italian before, but it was far better. Doubt this will last in an area full of so many great independent restaurants. And it doesn't deserve to.

We went there and saw a board outside offering a lunch menu deal but were presented with the main menu... When the bill came we asked about the deal and apparently the customer has to ask for the menu to be able to have the offer so as we had ordered from the main menu the same item - a burrito - was £7 more expensive. When we complained to the manager she apologised but it felt like they were trying to rip us off. Food itself was ok, average and clearly done without much love and care and the enchilada was very spicy and we like hot food. Nothing very inspiring on the menu, very standard tex-mex food, Mexican burgers on the menu for instance, given the name you would have thought it would be more authentic but sadly no moles or cerviches grace the menu etc. Won't be visiting again...

Do not agree at all with the previous reviewer - sorry but I guess we all have different tastes. Went on Sunday late afternoon. The staff were excellent, efficient and welcoming. The food was yummy. We are vegetarians and there were so many substitutions. Courgettes, mushrooms, onions, etc. Yummy flavours and large portions. We were so full we sadly couldn't fit in desert but we are most certainly returning. If they made it more upmarket, they would have to raise their price, so it's good finding this gem in a very expensive area but fits our pocket very nicely. Highly recommended. For those who aren't vegetarians you'll have a treat :) It just opened up 2 weeks ago and I hope they stay for a very long time!!

Love Mexican food so was delighted to see this place open. However our meal there was below average. The food was not fresh - things tasted ready made and the ingredients were low quality. It was extremely salty too. The staff were pleasant but the atmosphere is lacking - it feels too much like a theme restaurant you might find in a shopping mall or a retail park. I guess that is what it is though! Probably wouldn't bother again.

The restaurant is set in a pretty location with a really attractive conservatory. The food is reasonably good but not special a typical chain.When this restaurant opened the staff were great and helpful, unfortunately, as it has become a regular part of the area they seem to have become far less pleasant and if you get good service it is now special rather than the norm. Always ask for the bill well before you are ready to leave as it is rather hit and miss as to whether you get it within a reasonable time or have to keep trying to get the waiter/waitress attention and therefore getting into a state of annoyance - great pity.

Sooooo good. Some seriously delicious food. Odd items on the menu that make it more fusion than Italian. Doesn't feel like a chain, except for the uniforms on the service staff. Good wine list too. Had the wild mushroom girasole, yummy. And seriously, you have to have the bruscetta!! It was the best I've ever had outside of Italy!! Maybe inside Italy. Where did they get such amazing tomatoes in January?

Ho visitato questo ristorante venerdi scorso. Bel locale, arredato con gusto, Ottimo servizio. Purtroppo la qualita' del cibo lascia desiderare. Lo standard e' basso anche considerando che Prezzo e' una catena di ristoranti. Antipasto di salami misti scarso e non di Ottimo qualita' mentre le pizze che abbiamo ordinato erano ricche in ingredienti ma troppo sottili. Gli ingredienti stessi non avevano sapore. Non credo di poter suggerire questo ristorante come un posto dove Mangiare decentemente.

We visited here as it was across the road from our hotel and I had discovered they accepted tesco clubcard dining vouchers. The food here was a lot nicer than I was expecting considering it was a chain restaurant and I will certainly be trying to find a prezzo nearer to me for future visits!This particular branch was very quiet and relaxing, although it sounded as though the conservatory area was a little less so.

Despite being part of a chain the service was excellent, the food good, and great value for money - we took advantage of the great weather and dined al fresco - check out the internet for current deals . Will definitely return !
