Recommended by a friend, had a take away for four---arrived before time and was piping hot which was good, but the most tasteless boring unappetizing curries the four of us has ever had--ended in the bin which was really a pain--will not bother again

Last minute decision and as usual not disappointed. Decor redone since last visit and very warming and welcoming. Staff very friendly and efficient and food absolutely first class. Cannot recommend enough, everything was perfect. We will be back soon. Took advantage of Banquet night deal

Had a delivery to Kings Sutton tonight. The food arrived on time, fresh and hot. Always receive a lovely friendly service. Best takeaway I’ve had. Highly recommend.

This is a fabulous place, the food is amazing, loved the nan bread even took the rest home. The staff are courteous and smiley. Seven of us all enjoyed our food. Thank you good a great meal see you soon the Oxford/Chichester lady 🙂

Love this place and have been a regular for years, my son is now 17 and invariably also picks the Chilli and Pepper if we go out for a meal too. The food is great either eat in or take away, the setting is really clean, friendly and inviting but the stand out feature is definitely the staff who are absolutely fantastic. I love the fish and signature dishes there but everything I've had has been great too. Just going over to some friends tonight who moved away (next town on) but have been asked us to pick up a takeaway on the way as they miss it! Can't recommend highly enough and well worth a visit.

Me and my partner ordered a delivery and it came in record time! The food was as usual, the tastiest about. The delivery was next level. He was so happy and I will be coming by to give him the tip he deserves. Took us both by surprise how fast it came. Felt like I was a royal or celeb with the service we had! Plus the car it was delivered in was sexy af and sounded like a dream!! Never ordering from elsewhere!!

Service was so very slow considering only four of us were in. One of us was extremely disappointed with her meal and complained. It was rectified but Oh so slowly and needed to go back again until it was right. The food was just OK. The Saffron is right next door so I think we made the wrong choice this time. I don't know the Saffron so we may have made the right choice. It looked a lot nicer though.

We visited this evening with a family friend visiting from Ireland. We were greeted with exceptional service, outstandingly good food and drink, generous portions, and a very welcoming atmosphere. The desserts were amazing too! The restaurant has beautiful mood lighting that kept my 3 year old entertained- her review of the evening was " best dinner ever!" Definitely recommend and we look forward to our next visit!

This is a fantastic restaurant with fantastic staff and last but definitely not least is the fantastic food, we celebrated our daughters 21 in this restaurant and what an amazing experience it was, we have not been in this restaurant for over 6 months due to travelling, they remembered us and also the journey we went on, looking forward to our next evening with this team of warm and welcoming people.

The food is always excellent, the waiters are so friendly and attentive. It's amazing value for money. Without hesitation I would definately recommend this restaurant

Worst place to visit. Food is at low level . The manger is racist please avoid this place as possible .

Visited this restaurant returning from Newbury races to our hotel. Made welcome upon arrival and shown to our table. Ordered two drinks along with the food order consisting of 4 poppadoms & pickle tray, 2 chicken Tikka Kharai one with rice the other with side dish of bombay potatoes & a nam bread to share!! When traveling around the country horseracing my friend & I choose an Indian to visit after reviewing TripAdvisor The Chilli Pepper got our vote and they did not dissapoint us, the meal was delicious and rated very highly against all the other restaurants we have frequented over the years. Also very good value for money.

I visited chilli and pepper last night for the first time in a while because of Covid seem to have a new waiter there, his attitude in the speed he wanted to service us was ridiculous... speed speed speed, there was nothing enjoyable about it... at the end of the night the bill came was £61 I got my card out and put it on the table my daughter was getting hers out of her purse when he came along with the card machine, pick my card up off the table and he tapped it for me me... i only had £56 in GBP on that card the rest of the money was Euros and Krone... I've ended up having to explain to him but there wasn't enough GBP on there and as a result if that I have ended up paying for the conversion from Euro to GBP...A WAITER THAT REALLY DIDN'T CARE..WON'T BE RECOMMENDING THIS PLACE AGAIN WHILE SAID WAITER IS EMPLOYED THERE..

Never had food from here before until last Sunday evening when I ordered several dishes for a last minute evening meal. The naan breads were huge and delicious. The sag aloo was excellent, as were the two curries we ordered. Was especially happy that none of the dishes were over-salted as is often the case, so I didn't wake up at 3 a.m. needing a galloon of water. Staff were polite and helpful when I went in to make the order and then brought it outside to me where I was waiting. Excellent service.

The food is excellent, the waiters and friendly and attentive, and it's amazing value for money. Even midweek, there were quite a few people dining, it's a smart, clean restaurant, but you don't have to dress up, they are quite happy with people going in wearing shorts and t-shirts. In my opinion, it's the best Indian around and other establishments could learn from their ethos.

Having not visited this restaurant for 18 months due to covid and moving house, we were not disappointed. Same quality, friendly services, well decorated and good Ambience. The best Indian food I have had since moving. We will always try and return when we are in the area!

Great food, prompt and helpful service. Nothing is too much trouble and the Covid processes are good with a spacious & clean feel. If you are a coeliac, I recommend Chilli & Pepper as this is one restaurant we return to with confidence about the dietary requirements and have never had an issue.

We expected this restaurant to be busy for a Saturday so was surprised but this was our first time to Brackley and chilli and pepper, the service was amazing and the food was great, the restaurant is very modern and has a lovely atmosphere and most of all very clean. Well done guys keep up the good work.

I placed an order direct via their own website. After an hour I called to see if the received my order as I had no email confirmation (the email confirmation arrived 9 hours later) and they said it was out for delivery. Order arrived driver was a nice guy. I had ordered two extra poppadoms which were not delivered. Food was luke warm. First and last time I will try them.

Enjoyed a birthday meal with my husband and daughter. The restaurant was clean and fresh. Tables spaced for social distancing. The staff in the restaurant were excellent, attentive without being pushy, friendly and professional. All the staff were wearing masks as was the delivery driver that came into the restaurant a few times.The food was delicious, absolutely no complaints. Peshwari naans were hot and fresh, all the food was lovely. Washed down a nice cold bottle of prosecco and beers for my husband. Not sure why we’ve not used this Indian in brackley before as we use the others. Next time we won’t hesitate to get our food from here. We will most definitely return.

I just wanted to say that as someone over the age of 50, I have only just got round to trying a takeaway from an Indian restaurant. It was purely convenience that we chose Chilli & Pepper, but my goodness, I now can see that I've seriously been missing out. The food was fab; hot, really tasty and the staff that I've met so far have been pleasant and polite. Although we've not yet eaten in the sit-down part of the restaurant, whilst waiting to collect the takeaway that we ordered and paid for online, everying was clean, neat and tidy. I don't usually write reviews, but I was so impressed with our meal that it felt like it was the right thing to do - give credit where credit is due. So if you've not yet tried Chilli & Pepper for a sit down dinner, or a takeaway, I highly recommend that you do!

I used to order my delivery take aways from here as they came out to 'the sticks' to deliver. However my last visit to the restaurant it shocked me how heavily coloured the curries were and I wasn't feeling wildly enthusiastic about the flavour of the food either. The staff are all very friendly and I've never had a problem with the service, I just feel the food really needs to be improved.

Staying in town for work and walked down the main street and turned left at the end. Saw the Chilli and Pepper and decided a curry was what was needed.Shown to a table straight away. Did not have a drink or poppdums but went straight for a Chicken Jalfreze. Did not have to wait too long before it was served. Temperature was just right and the heat and flavour complimented each other just nicely. Would definitely come again if I am in the area.

The whole family Loves it here we also get to sit on the same table, staff fantastic with children nice and warm easy to park. Great food and portions. Staff always cheerful and friendly

A nice place to eat food well presented and the menu varied. Staff attentive and helpful for me the food lacked spices and was exceptionally mild. This would not put me off going back but it is unlikely to be my first choice when in Brackley

What a fantastic evening. We decided last minute to go out for a meal. After a stressful couple of weeks we wanted a good glass of wine and good food. We ordered chicken pakora and meat samosas as starters. Both were absolutely delicious and you can taste they were freshly made. We went on to order a chicken tikka and a jalfrezi. Sides were a chapati,naan bread and a chickpea dish I can highly recommend all. The service was absolutely brilliant our glasses always fill and conversation with the owners were fantastic they made us feel so welcomed. Will definitely go back. Thank you for a relaxed evening and the 5 star attentive service. A must on a date night.

We went there last night for the first time, and it won't be the last! The staff are all welcoming, friendly and polite. The food was excellent, very tasty, I had the chicken shashlik which is perfect if you don't like your food covered in sauce. There was a good atmosphere, and the air-con was just right.

So many choices of Indian take away within Brackley that unfortunately this restaurant is no different from the others in regards to the quality and authenticity of the dishes described within the menus is so far off the mark that every dish I have had is the same sauce used in every dish. Maybe I need to eat in at this establishment and see if the food is any better than that given as a take away.

Went on Friday evening for a birthday treat. Hadn't been for a little while but service and food were better then ever. The staff are lovely and happy to recommend. We tried two new dishes and really enjoyed them. Go so far to say it was the best Indian meal I have had.

Chilli and Pepper has never let us down. They are always ready to help us when needed, due to our many dietary requirements, including Celiac and multiple allergies. We have eaten here more times than I can count in two years, and keep coming back, due to the stellar service and food.

This restaurant is rather brightly lit but saying that the food is very reasonable and tasty. Service with a smile, very polite waiters. Would recommend this place.

I went to the restaurant with a couple of my friends, we’ve been before and are always impressed so, we chose to go to dinner there once again. It had a very nice atmosphere and you’re welcomed almost as soon as you walk in, no need to wait around to be seated! The food was very tasty and is at a good price, I feel that it arrives at a really good temperature and is presented well.

I went into the restaurant to order a takeaway. I was only in for about 15 minutes but the team were really friendly, they offered me something to drink and had a good laugh about with me. All in all a wonderful experience.

This is a authentic restaurant, food was plentiful and very enjoyable, portions were large and prices were very reasonable. Restaurant was nicely decorated, clean and welcoming. Staff very experienced and nothing was too much trouble. Would return if back in the area.

Good place to go to get a seemingly authentic meal without having to pay huge amounts for it. It isn't cheap but if it was it probably wouldn't be as good.

Great service, great food. Always a good ambience. Love the fresh tablecloths and napkins and always smiling faces! Great and welcoming with children. It is my 2 and a half year old grandaughters favourite restaurant!

We ordered takeaway from here with a very varied order as some members of the family are vegan. They were exceptionally helpful on the phone, answering our questions enthusiastically and offering vegan suggestions for things we were unsure about. The food arrived within the time that they had told us and the person delivering was once again exceptionally polite and very friendly. The food was absolutely delicious! Wonderful service, everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal and we will definitely order from Chilli and Pepper again!

I have been tp this restaurant a few times, and never had a bad main meal. The starter was the worst i have had. I ordered the Garlic Mushrooms, it came up on a plare of fried onions with slithers of mushroom. If you put the slithers of mushroom together, you would be lucky if it made one complete mushroom. I told them that i ordered garlic mushrooms not fried onions. The waiters were very defensive and stated this is the way they cook the mushrooms. Although the main meals have been good the starter has now put me off.

The food is lovely and full of flavours. I ordered the vegetable korma and it was full of vegetables and the sauce was delicious. Lovely staff and lovely food.

3 off us are here in Brackley for a 3 day stay for British Gp, we ate here a few yrs ago and had a super meal and last night didn't disappoint another fab meal friendly staff portions just right.

I eat here all the time, it's the only Indian I ever get takeaway from, and pretty much the only Indian I eat out at! Their Butter Chicken is to die for, and their King Prawn Bhuna is probably the best Indian curry I've ever eaten! I ordered takeaway from here on Saturday night and it just never fails to hit the spot! Just delicious

I have to confess to being a real fan of Indian cooking. The menu has so many examples of regional dishes that will really get your taste buds going , the staff are really friendly and helpful if you want advice on trying something new, my wife is celiac and they were helpful in recommending a gluten free meal for her, we have eaten in a few time but will usually have a takeaway. The quality and taste is the same which ever you choose.

Early doors dinner with family and 2 year old granddaughter. Great service and well looked after especially to the little one. Mind you she is as good as gold and happy to sit on seat raiser and eat poppadums! Great choice of food. This place always feel clean. The bar sparkles as much as the reception floor. Lovely as always!

We went to Chilli & Pepper with friends on Saturday. The service was good and attentive and we didn’t have to wait ( maybe because there were only 3 other tables booked) but from the start the good was disappointing. The dips provided with the poppadoms had been watered down so they were dripping off onto the plate. We went onto main course, my vegetable dhansak didn’t have any vegetables in it, just a thick sauce with one slice of pineapple and it was supposed to have lentils, well I had to search for them, and it was very sweet. My friend had chicken tikka masala which was a luminous red colour. The other dish ordered was king prawn korma, ok but again very sweet. The banana fritters were light and crispy but not good enough to make up for the meal. Very disappointing.

Amazing food. Great staff and really relaxed setting. Staff are lovely which just make the whole dining in experience that little bit more special! Food is great aswell. You can tell its been made with passion.

After a great afternoons football at Brackley Town we went to Chilli and Pepper. Always lush, great food and wine. Great staff, good service and great atmosphere. Recommended to everyone.

Since the best local curry house shut down we are trying the other local Indian restaurants. Why oh why do they continually serve up food that all tastes bland and only differ in the levels of heat/spice in their food. A good curry should have all sorts of different flavours exploding on your tongue.

Good choice of menu, food excellent, attentive service and great value for money. I would happily go and eat here again

I've just moved to Brackley and this was the first Indian we've tried! Reluctant to try others now but can I just say the food was lovely! It's hard to find a nice Indian restaurant. We have the set menu B for 2 people which was ideal as we had a variety. My personal favourite was the chicken chat starter hmmmm delicious flavours! They were very easy to talk to on the phone and despite being on the new development they managed to find our house! Also very smart dressed and professional service! Well done chilli & pepper we'll be back.

Family love coming here. Always treated and seated to the same table every time. Staff know us and talk to our younger children by name always serve them what they want. We love the good fabulous portions service amazing and great price. There is no other than this place.

I LOVE the Chilli and Pepper, and always trust that whatever I order will be absolutely amazing. I usually have either the King Prawn Bhuna or the Butter Chicken with a pilau rice and have never been disappointed, it's always delicious and comes as a big portion! The staff are all super friendly and professional and are always efficient and calm. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed and is great for family/friend dinners, or a romantic evening out! The chutneys and sauces that come with the poppadoms are also great! The menu spoils you for choice and is very reasonably priced, when me and a friend come here for dinner, we have 2 poppadoms each, a main, rice, and a drink or 2, and it's usually under £30, the flavors and colors in the food are amazing and always presented beautifully! I will always continue to eat here!

I ordered Chicken Tikka Balti and I can honestly say this is the best I have ever tasted.The staff are very friendly and attentive.I would highly recommend this Indian

Staff and service friendly, but food was very poor. Fish pieces were texture of soggy tea bags, tasteless and chicken was very tough. Heavy use of ghee. We betrayed our loyalty to Bucks Tandoori in Buckingham to unwind after a 6 hour journey, little enthusiasm and atmosphere, sorry we won't be returning.

What good service I received last night.I ordered poppadoms etc, egg rice, Bombay aloo, and a chicken Malayan.The welcome was most friendly and the atmosphere and decor very nice.They asked me what I would like and I couldn't see it on the menu - was told there were many more dishes to be cooked but not enough room for everything on the menu. I explained what my usual go to dish was and they made it for me - very accommodating.The meal came on sizzling trays which they transferred into something they could put on the table. My initial reaction the everything was this looks delicious but could see something on top of the curry which looked unfamiliar.It was "garnished" with grated cheese?Never seen a chicken curry like that before but decided to taste before I judged.Just before the server put the meal on my table the waiter asked him why there was cheese on top too! He ended up stirring it in and hoping I wouldn't notice.I put a small selection from each bowl on my plate and began to eat.The texture of the chicken was a little different to what I'm used to... maybe it was the method of cooking but it almost seemed like it might have been cooked from frozen but I tried to soldier on...The curry despite being an ok flavour was alright until I got to the area with the stirred in cheese and that ruined it for me, left it tasting like a cheesy oven pasta bake. I ended up leaving 95% of the curry but eating the rest. Bless them they didn't charge me for the main curry just what I'd eaten and told me next time they would try better to understand what I wanted. Very impressed and will go back.

This review is long over due, we have been customers of Chilli &Pepper for 5 years. We have eaten in the restaurant and had many a take away. I can honestly say that I have never had a bad experience the staff are really friendly. The food is amazing, still working my way through the menu. the last time we took friends out to dinner we went to Chilli & Pepper and 3 years on they still remember the night and want to go again in there next visit. We will never eat curry anywhere else.

Food was disappointing this time. Biriani was huge and came on the plate to eat off so no opportunity to take a little or pass it round to share. The king prawns were rubbery and lamb a little tough. Some parts of the menu were hard to read.

Last night we visited Chilli and Pepper and enjoyed a lovely meal. The restaurant was very quiet but it was a Tuesday! The waiter was very polite and helpful.The food was good value and the portion size was also good.The only one negative was that the Chicken Biriani was too hot for my taste and hotter than I expected but I shall choose something different next time I visit !

The staff were brilliant with our children. Great food and service.The toilets are up very steep stairs which are tricky to navigate for the elderly or young children. The decor is what you would expect for a traditional curry house. The food though is very good and reasonably priced. A standard night out.

Myself and hubby have been coming her for years been taken over many times. But this management is amazing and look after is brilliantly,we love the food the staff and team look after is so well.

Once again, we visited the restaurant and we were not disappointed. The meal, the staff and ambience were absolutely outstanding. If we could rate the restaurant out of 10, we would give it 10. -Another brilliant meal! Thank you so much!

We have been dining here for some time now and its our regular Bangladesh/Indian restaurant. We make a 20 mile round drive to eat here.The décor is pleasant with a solid wooden floor. The restaurant is always clean and tidy. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. The food is of consistent high quality and tasty. The portion size is good. They also have a discount available for regular eat-in diners which makes a meal even better value for money that it is. Recommended!

we took our Spanish friends to Chilli &Pepper and had a great meal,staff very friendly and on top of their job. All food was lovely and the price was surprisingly inexpensive, the only drawback is limited parking.Brackley is a small but interesting old market town and worth a visit make time for a visit to the large antique centre

A pleasant evening with the family. The food was OK but very similar to the other Indian restaurants in Brackley. The service was good. No complaints at all really, just doesn't have the X factor.

We went as a party of 9 after a day at the local beer festival. We had booked as this is a popular restaurant. As usual we weren't disappointed. Food was delicious, served with a smile, helpful staff great atmosphere. All round great meal. Would always recommend this restaurant as never had a bad meal.

We did not book a reservation but have been before and were made very welcome.The food was served hot and was excellent. We found the service very good and all our waiters were very pleasant and helpful. We ordered the butter chicken and a tandoori chicken. Both dishes were very good and tasty. Also had a variety of side dishes and these were also of good quality. We would definitely go back again and thoroughly recommend them.

came here for our evening meal while staying at the crown. we were the only table in the restaurant which bothered us a little at first. we need not have worried, the service was excellent and the food was some of the best Indian restaurant food I have ever had. well done to all. great value, served on time, every dish was quality.

As a couple we usually for Indian food dine at Faz's but we were getting fed up with the sheer speed of each course coming to the table like almost like they just wanted the diner to finish their food and go as quick as possible, then for someone else to have the table. Also at Faz's often I would order something and the waiter suggested something else instead !............ We decided to try elsewhere. So we chose Chilli & Pepper. We just loved it. Not rushed at all, very relaxed evening, food tasted just great, and I felt the menu was very underpriced for the value and quality of the food. My only regret is that I did not have any spare change for a tip , so there will be a double tip next time !!Well done all, loved Chilli & Pepper.

Was persuaded to join the VIP club which is a buy two main courses get the cheapest free. Used the card once but never again. There are so many Indian restaurants in Brackley to choose from that are a lot better.

Called in here without a booking , 6 of us got in , service was excellent, poppadum's and starters lovely, my chili chicken was heat and no flavour and very disappointing. Everyone else had made better choices though, they all enjoyed theirs. Drink was not too expensive and would probably try again but pick a different main

Went out for a friends 65th birthday. I had heard that they offered a slimming World menu.Well we were greeted by one of the owners who made us feel really at home. When it was time to order our food "Mine Host" came over and went through the menu with me. Don't remember exactly what I had but it was Prawn something or other with all the trimmings and Slimming world rice. I was driving so stuck with Diet Cokes. Most enjoyable evening and I thoroughly recommend a visit.

Went here on speck one evening. There was a full Indian menu but the dishes my husband and I chose both tasted the same! Although we ordered two different rices they were both the same....and quite stodgy. Everything was luke warm. We won't be going again.
