Coming here for years... good truck stop. Good showers. Clean toilets. They've changed menu lately and although the portions are still big. The quality of food isn't the same . Definitely cheaper products for still the same expensive prices

Gorgeous snap. After 21:00 They jam to capacity, but everything is on time. No one is stopping you from leaving in the morning. The food is very good. I added 4 pounds and barely ate the portion. Shower for 7 minutes. And so everything is written as everyone else has written before. I recommend it.

It's a nice park, it gets busy in the evenings.

Good showers in here but that's all that is good, fuel pumps are very slow, hoses don't reach both sides, overnight parking is very tight if you can get in, packed in very tight with no way out till your departure time, meals are overpriced and overcooked, possibly the worst breakfast I've ever had, hash browns shatter when you cut them as there over cooked and dry, bacon is the same that was so hard I couldn't cut it, only thing edible was the sausage and the beans, eggs where hard nd cold, for nearly £10 it should be alot better then this, definitely the last time I will ever visit, rather use the greggs at the end of the road 😞

2 years ago, I left this notice: Stop for short break. Top truck stop. Warm atmosphere, fast service. Large selection of dishes. A good address for me. Good job team red lion. Since then I have stopped from time to time, and this evening 02/19/25, new stop, I had the "New York Chicken" dish. It's really hearty and good, the fries are really excellent. I highly recommend this truckstop.

Just Wow, Everything in one spot. Has loads of different fuel ⛽ types (Not Just Diesel). Spacious and easy to get in & out. Will definitely stop here again!!

I give it 4 because of the food, otherwise it's hard to find a place after 6:00 p.m. during the week, yesterday even a mouse climbed onto the step of the tractor and ate a carrot and lettuce.

Busy truck stop there's usually plenty of parking space as long as you get there at a reasonable time, the food is really good, the portions are big too, the showers are very hot, clean and the toilets are cleaned on a regular basis, out of hours there are external toilets that you can use. Location wise it's just 2 minutes off the M1.

Don't waste time booking and paying, because if you arrive and it's already full they'll send you away even if you've paid, total lack of respect I risked exceeding the time, other than that I was forced to take a break next to the road. I absolutely do not recommend!!!! Zero stars

I only ever go for gas and a loo break. The toilets definetly could be cleaner but that's due to the amount of people that use them rather than the fault of the staff. Staff have always been friendly if I've needed assistance.

Hi, the parking lot is only full at the weekend, you have to count the rows to find the truck. Showers only during the day, at night only the small toilets are open. It's ok unlike many others I never found the tarp cut.

Nice and secure snap car park with great restaurant. Possibility to book with TRAVIS. Toilets and bathrooms clean, there are also 2 washing machines with 2 dryers

Fantastic, 2 valets who welcome you asking for your departure time so that they can allocate parking for you, excellent food, plenty of beer and very good John Smith in particular... friendly and very polite staff, excellent and clean showers and facilities, vouchers included in the parking price where they can be used at the pub....in short, the best truckstop I've visited in the UK.

Used to be better here but the food isn't as good as it was but lightning fast service and a friendly place with good facilities. Cold rushed food. Will come back but will think twice about eating here again.

Extremely nice and helpful girl directing traffic. They have showers and toilets and a burger van on site. Really tasty quality burger! On snap too.

Good parking. You can get a food voucher for two pounds. You must make a reservation in advance. The downside is that it is muddy and puddles after rain. The toilets are relatively clean. There are showers for which you have to get a token. Bathing time is limited.

Absolute hell whole of a place security shouting at 4am in morning trying to park 2 trucks up which took over 30 minutes. I had the curry which was like water with no taste cold Naan bread lf your looking for quiet parking with decent food this is not the place I will not be parking here again

Hot bath- You are entitled to 1 shower voucher and a £6 voucher to use in the restaurant. Friendly staff and good organization. Lots of vacancies and there is someone responsible for helping with maneuvers.

An excellent restaurant in terms of interior, and just before Christmas, it’s really cool. Christmas tree, Christmas music. There is no food, zero. It doesn't taste good to me. Nowhere here at all. This is not the eastern part of Europe after all, not Belarus, not Ukraine, not Russia and not the Baltic states. The cuisine in Britain is weak, just like in the Netherlands or Belgium. Otherwise, excellent parking. Everything has been written about prices and vouchers. The shower is one of the best in Europe. The British are generally great at this matter. They have more space, more provision, and somehow everything is done more reliably. Even if it is shabby, it is reliable and equipped with everything necessary. The shower even has a separate space for changing clothes behind a partition. Two double and one powerful hook. This is completely rare (very often you want to bring a whole truckload of hooks to Europeans). So here your things will be dry. In Europe, there is generally a problem with the reasonable design and equipment of showers and toilets. They definitely do not do this for themselves, but so that they can simply do it without thinking. I like the British better in this matter

Parking has vastly improved over the years. It's not like the moon anymore but get crowded very early. Meals are massive! Look at my beef madras, it had chips, salad, rice and naan bread with it. Called at lunchtime and had a steak, cheese and onion baguette. Other truckstop establishments could learn a thing or two by visiting here. Look at my other reviews to see where I've been!

A huge parking lot in a very good location. Cultural service, professional parking. A car shop is available for drivers. A high-quality bar. Clean showers, toilets. In addition, there is an ATM and washing machines. The restaurant staff deserves especially great respect.

We ( wife & me ) had a fantastic experience at the Red Lion Truck Stop thanks to Flori, the bartender. Flori was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and professional, ensuring every customer felt welcome and well taken care of. The service was quick, and the atmosphere she created was warm and inviting. It’s clear she takes pride in her work, and her positive energy made the visit truly enjoyable. I’ll definitely be back!

Very safe parking. I paid by card. After 6 p.m., it's hard to find a place... Food OK. There is also a Polish accent. The gentleman who served me is Polish. It was nice. The rest - standard. WIFI, toilet, shower... I recommend.
