While visiting London's Soho, we came across a Mexican restaurant. We decided on nachos with cheese and additions, which turned out to be delicious, and a burrito. The burrito was tasty, but the amount of rice overpowered the taste of the meat and toppings. Next time I will make sure to use much less rice. The place is clean and well decorated. Staff friendly.

Staff were really friendly and helped us sign up for a free meal and food was so good.

This is my to go place, whenever I’m around I would pop in! I love chillango food and amazing ambiance with lovely music. I appreciate the team and their hospitality specially Sumit, Natraj and Davis are amazing team mates. The place is very clean and friendly all times. Pocket friendly restaurant! Could add some more drinks options. Whatever it’s amazing dine in.

Fui presentado a Chilango por colegas en un trabajo anterior. Tristemente desde entonces han cerrado algunas sucursales. La comida de Chilango me parece mucho más sabrosa que la de competidores similares como Tortilla, Chipotle, Barburrito, etc. Las salsas que usan están llenas de sabor y en particular lo que me encanta es que usan This Isn't Chicken así que como vegetariano tengo algunas opciones más interesantes para elegir además de solo verduras y este es el mejor pollo vegetariano que hay en comparación con las marcas que eligen otros restaurantes (por ejemplo, granja sin carne en Wahaca). Me encantaría verlos expandir sus opciones sin carne. Seguirá volviendo aquí.

I feel like this branch is cutting costs by producing bland food there is nothing Mexican about this it tasted like nothing had to use a lot of salt and pepper. they are tight with the portions like it's going to be good total waste of my money!

Better than Chipotle. There are a few places around Soho that sell burritos; Chilango is the best. The food is really flavoursome and the staff are always very polite and friendly.

Amazing! Walking around London just before a theatre show and came across this gem. The staff explained the menu to us clearly and let my aunt try the beans. The food was out of this world, so fresh and tasty. Highly recommended. Next time I’m London, I’ll be visiting!

Absolutely average Mexican food. The tacos and filling were stone cold and mostly lacking in flavour. The burrito was somewhat better but nothing to write home about.

Absolutely love this place I'm so sad the local one got closed down. Whenever I'm in the area I always pop on for a burrito, amazing flavours great food;

5 star review is based on overall the kind considerate customer service, which in particular came from Blessed (hope I spelt her name correctly). Initial service was 1 star. However, after I communicated I was unhappy with the initial service this got escalated (Blessed then entered the picture). After a healthy conversation on poor communication on their part I was then given a complimentary burrito, which exceeded my expectations. I’d say that while asking to speak to a manager is an unpleasant experience, I think this is always the most optimal route rather than leaving a 1 star review. People don’t necessarily acknowledge a mistake unless things are communicated. Equally i’d say retail food service industry is not easy as it can be quite tiring. All in all good customer service eventually! Thank you for listening to me ramble 🙂

Just stopped in at surprise Mexican restaurant in Soho. Had the best meal in ages, so many flavors, just amazing.

Lovely experience here today. Staff were so kind, couldn't do enough to help. Had tacos, which were *delicious* 😋 Venue is a perfect escape away from the madness of Soho.

Chilangos did us dirty. We ordered off Uber eats on 11.08.24 (hotbox with chicken and rice etc.) and there was no chicken in the bowl! We literally paid £13.47 for rice, beans and guacamole with onions on the side. Very disappointed for my first order with Chilangos. Will never eat here again. I visited the place with my friends today. I've eaten before and asked nicely for a Corona at the counter. I also asked how much the beer was at which he replied 3.70. Immediately he told me that he can't serve me unless I buy food at which I replied that unfortunately I am full and can't eat anything. As he refused to serve me I asked one of my friends to buy me a beer when he got food. The guy then asked me if I was with them at which I replied: I've explain this already earlier. After that he charged me 4.30. upon asking my friends they said the food was average and that they tried to overcharge them at any given moment with the extras. They have even asked them if they have been here before. In my opinion this is one of the TOURIST TRAP Restaurants in London. Nothing special here just overpriced average food and only one type of beer.

Staff are nice but I got a burrito bowl and it was 90% rice and 10% meat , I can’t blame the staff as it’s obvious they are just following the rules set by higher up. But if I’m paying £10 for a bowl… just put a good amount of meat inside? ( I paid for double ..)

Soulful scummy mexican food served by wonderful staff. Love the burrito, but you can't beat a salad hotbox with dirty waffle fries on the side. Can't wait for the next one.

Chilango offers a great introduction to Mexican cuisine! I was particularly impressed by the unique combinations of sweet and savory flavors in their dishes, along with the variety of sauces they provide. A big plus for me was that the manager confirmed their chicken is Halal, although signage wasn't displayed at the time of my visit. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and their loyalty scheme seems like a great way to get free food and to explore different Mexican dishes if you're new to the cuisine.

Nice options for different diets such as keto, protein etc. No salt available and small selection of sauces and small portion. Average taste, but nutritious.

Food was great, service was nice but failed to let me know what extras/toppings increased cost, (signs weren’t clear on which extras were priced or free). Overall food was good but slightly bitter about the extra price that I didn’t expect to pay.

We found this place by accident. It’s your typical taco stand. Fresh ingredients. We had a bowl and a burrito. Both were solid quality and flavor.

My wife and I decided to stop by this place while out shopping in London and thought we’d try something different as Mexican food wasn’t on our list of usual food to have. I ordered the tres tacos with the chicken marinated in habanero, mango and chipotle marinade and I have to say I was impressed. My wife ordered the steak hot box which she enjoyed very much. We also shared a plate of nachos queso which was a great way to start things off. The atmosphere was cool and the staff very friendly. Highly recommend this place.

Absolute wonderful night! Food was amazing, so flavoursome. I have to give props to Juliet who was serving us tonight, she was helpful and on top of everything making sure we had everything we needed. Will be coming back here for sure.

What fantastic food! First time ordering from Chilango and we couldn’t fault the food! The guac and chicken were super yummy! Will definitely order again!

Delicious Mexican food, unfortunately very expensive. I paid £10.30 (€12.03 at the time) for a (!) chicken burrito, even though the dish was listed as £8.80. I didn't order any side dishes or drinks. Presumably some ingredients that I was asked about by the staff (didn't ask) and nodded in agreement were charged separately. The taste is okay, but a bit expensive.

It was my first time visiting, and one of the staff members( Juliet) recommended the chicken box; and i have to say it was just delicious and worth every penny. Thank you for everything guys and thank you juliet for your amazing hospitality. Deffo recommend it, and will be visiting again.
