Great fresh tasting food. Had a veggie bowl at lunch. Genuinely nice people staffing the place, amazing service!

Consistently delicious steak burrito. It’s nice to be surprised by a place that can keep up a very high standard of food over many years. It’s also nice to see that the acquisition by Tortilla hasn’t changed things at all. Keep up the good work guys!

Just ordered lunch from Chilango’s Chancery. A big order for colleagues and I and it was hot and delicious! They even threw in some free prawns on request for me! We’ll definitely be back thank you again!

I went for take away option. It is busy during lunch hours. But easy to get your food. I got a burrito and honestly was tasteless. The tortilla bread was not really taste. I choose carnitas lack of flavour. Not sure if I will ever come back

The staff here are always so lovely! Portion sizes are great, I’m never left hungry!!! Today I redeemed my free birthday meal every member of staff wished me a happy birthday and even remade my order when I dropped it on the floor 🤦🏻‍♀️. My favourite place to come for lunch when I’m working in London!!!

Such a lovely little gem just off the main road serving burrito and boxes the prawns are absolutely lovely. Service is always fast even in peak times and the staff are all nice and polite.

The stuff were amazing and honesty enjoy the food.

The staff was absolutely lovely. One thing that really stood out, was how they were consistently checking the temperature of the food, and continuously wiping down all surfaces to ensure safety for all customers. The food itself was also delicious and the place was incredibly good value for money with something for everybody.

Good burritos with tasty fillings, I like the pork and chicken. Prices have gone up a little but you get a decent amount of food for the money. Friendly and efficient service, if there is a queue it usually moves quite quickly.

Prior to lockdown this was an easy 5 stars but doesn’t seem to be as good anymore. Feel like i get the same amount of filling whether I order single or double meat just there hands a bit more shaky with the double. Love watching stuff fall out my burrito and them not bother to put in back in. Let’s just leave that steak and chicken on the counter, doesn’t have to actually go in the wrap (sarcasm)

As a Latinamerican, I was underwelmed with the taste overall - I've had my share of mexican food spots in Panama, NYC, California, and from Mexican friends. The food portions are ok (granted, I lived in NYC and portions are different there). Not sure if this is a UK cuisine thing, but please dont be afraid to add salt to bring out flavors...

The burritos are good, and the service is what you can expect in a fast food place. As a Mexican I'd say that the taste is not quite authentic, but I cannot complain for the price. It is a big plus that they have a keto option.

Was feeling pretty tired from studying and a little stressed thinking about some work I needed to do. Went in to get my usual veggie burrito order and waited to order. While queuing I was just so happening to think about my previous positive experiences with the staff at this branch where most of them are extremely friendly, from the cleaner to the cashier. While ordering the cashier apologised/thanked me for “waiting so long” (I really wasn’t, there were only 2 people ahead of me) and asked me if I was a student as there was a student discount. Was really happy to be offered a discount, but I didn’t actually get the student discount at all. When it was time for me to pay the cashier took 50% off the price of my order to thank me for “waiting so long”. Completely lifted my mood and brightened up my day. Food at Chilango is always tasty but this branch in particular is special as it is staffed by literal angels. Burrito’s aren’t exactly cheap but are definitely worth the price. You can also get boxes which are pretty good value for London for just under £5.

Always great for a quick bite. Keto and low carb options are great, the burritos come jam packed. Speedy service too but can get busy at lunchtime.

First visit, went with the box rather than a wrap. Will be ordering again. Have to say the side order of chips were close to perfection and bbq dip which I'm not normally a lover of was beauty in tub.

Recently ordered 17£ burrito and salad on deliveroo from this restaurant. The size was good but taste is awful, burrito was over salted badly and chicken in the salad was burned to a coal. I’ve tried Mexican food in many places but this one is the worst one 😒

Good, filling, spicy and high protein

The food is always delicious and always fresh tasting but if you size up to the regular box they're very stingy and the box is usually half empty when it comes to closing it after you've added your toppings etc. I think the burritos tend to be better value for money but if you like the boxes then beware that you will be paying quite a lot for not that much food. Also charging £1.50 for guacamole you'd think they'd give you a nice big spoon but they aren't so generous.

Disappointing - grossly overpriced. A regular burrito without any guac cost me £8.35, and guac would have been £1.50 extra! The burrito itself was OK at best but this is crazy expensive even for London. I'll be going back to Tortilla where I can get a larger, nicer burrito with guac for less.

I just tried this place for work lunch, I'll deffo be back soon. I was really pleased to finally find a low-carb lunch option. It isn't too pricey which is good for mon-fri lunches and they staff are v friendly. There was a bit of a queue but for good reason I suppose! Love it.

Popped in at lunchtime and was disaapointed. Staff mumbling questions at you and a poor price structure where you pay for everything. Staff are pushing everything at you. I ended up with an £8 burrito that was tasteless. I WILL NOT be going back. Cheaper better tastier food all around Holborn area.

My first burrito ever , it was really tasty!

Used to love this place. have been to Chilango many times and this was the first time I've been left speechless here. I just received the measliest chicken burrito; every ingredient from the rice, sour cream, guacamole (which you pay extra for) to the chicken was about 1/2 of how much I'd expected to have received. I had about 5 small chunks of chicken and asked for more which was a "double portion of chicken". The cheese and sauce were sprinkled on as if I had just ordered parmesan at an Italian restaurant and not a burrito which is supposed to be filling at their price point. In total I paid £11.50 for a burrito! with a (supposedly) "double portion" of chicken and a tiny dab of guacamole. The taste was great but the portion size was absolutely pathetic and I will definitely not be returning to this branch. Embarrassing value for money.

A decent place that serves Latino street food. I ordered the burrito without the wrap. It was really tasty. Coupled it with some baked waffle fries with a BBQ dip. The dip had some good kick to it. Price was okay, considering it's in London. Overall a good place to have a quick bite!

Decent Mexican burrito, but don't think it's fair your vegan chicken costs more than all other meats, surely it doesn't cost you that much? Need to encourage more people to go veggie so more focus here please! On the plus side it was really tasty!

Usually love Chilango, but on receiving my "This is not Chicken Protein Box" I was exceptionally disappointed to see less protein than I would usually get in the much smaller, and half of the price "Low Carb box" I accept this branch is a busy one on a weekday lunchtime, but I would still expect more than 6 pieces of "This is not Chicken" for £9.95! Avoid if you want a lunch that will sustain you longer than it takes you to walk out of the small premises.

Appalling. Ordered an online order and most of it was wrong and they labelled nothing so you had to unwrap every Burrito to work out what it was. Bad for people with allergies. Tried to call to work out what everything was but didn't answer. Useless.

This chain outlet was a surprise find for us as we went to the nearby Leather Lane for their plethora of food stalls. As the stalls packed up for the late afternoon, we ventured into Chilango as an experiment. WOW !! I ordered a Surf 'n' Turf Burrito (£8.95) and my dining companion had the Low-Carb box (£4.95). Both were of superb, fresh quality and a generous amount of food made it a real bargain too. £15.40 for two people with a soft drink is a rare and enticing bargain. Staff were cheerful, friendly, helpful and generous. I cannot recommend Chilango highly enough. What a great experiment.

I went yesterday for the first time. I had the steak burrito. When I bit into it I soon realised it didn't taste fresh. I ate around a third and the beef was fatty, so I took it out (I had paid extra for more meat). It wasn't really warm and the cheese was definitely old. I left it because I felt that I may get food poisoning, but I was fine. Wouldn't go again.

The food is nice but you get rushed when ordering your food. Labels on the the sides would help you decide what you wanted without having to waste time asking the server what everything is!

Great new vegan addition ( this isn’t chicken ) which taste amazing however shame it’s so expensive compared to all of the other meat options!! Since when veggies cost more than meat ?!? Sort it out guys, do you want to make money ?!? Go vegan

Popped in for lunch yesterday and had a box full of Mexican delights. Be careful what you pick though as the price quickly escalates and before you know it your paying £10.00 for what was supposed to be a cheap lunch! However, the portion size was mighty and a bit on the large side! The food was good flavours are a good combination of zing and heat if you opt for the delightful chillis sauce!

Overpriced, poorly wrapped, falling apart tiny "burrito" that will leave you wanting another meal. Ideal for dieters who want to lose pounds.

Be careful as they like to skimp on the amount of chicken they put in. It's £7.30 for a regular, so pay attention that you are actually getting a just amount.
