The chicken here is so good and full of flavour. I think we have ordered most of the menu now. The burrito boxes are huge and great for take away and everything is always packaged perfectly. I really love this place and as others have said it’s Stafford hidden gem. Go eat there :) or order take out.

There's not much to say than amazing, amazing, amazing. Amazing food and amazing service. Best peri peri chicken, garlic chips in Stafford.

What can I say, except absolutely fantastic! Very impressed by the staff, food, price and over all experience. The positions were huge and extremely tasty, will definitely be returning!

Tried to order food from here 20 mins before it closes. Was unable to on all the apps as it seems they just decided to stop delivering probably wanted an early night. So I rang direct again 15 mins before it closes spoke to a guy who was completely disinterested in what I had to say said I could only order off the app even after I told him it wasn’t letting me that’s why I’d rung. Awful customer service and I have ordered quite a few times but they will not get another penny from me. Avoid as very unprofessional indeed. Obviously don’t need the customers seeing as we are in the middle of a pandemic.

After giving this place a glowing review when they opened in 2019 I must say it’s gone down hill a bit. We had our usual and it gave us a bad tummy so we have stopped going now. Shame really because the food use to be fantastic

Ordered a take away today (09/01/21), food was ready for collection within 30min, still very hot when I got home with it & most importantly very tasty. My husband very much enjoyed the New York Burger which he described as the “Best Burger he has had in a long time” and I had the BLK burger and the hot peri pitta which were both delicious. We also ordered some very tasty chicken wings & nachos to start and our little toddler absolutely loved the sweet potato fries (as did her mummy & daddy!). Highly recommended. We will definitely be ordering from Chicos again & hopefully be able to visit the restaurant soon once lock down has ended! Very good price too!

Never again!!! Placed an order at 6pm via Uber eats it is now 8:15pm and order has still not her received!! An absolute joke!!! Been trying to ring the restaurant since 7:30 and no answer !!! NEVER AGAIN- STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS JOKE OF A RESTAURANT

Had our first ever takeaway from chicos tonight and it was something else. Portion size is enormous. Cajun chicken burger was incredible, peri chicken wrap was too. Chips are chunky and insane. Rice was good, haloumi was delicious. Even the salad dressing was delicious. If any one is reading this you need to go to chicos

Our family LOVE this place. Amazing chicken, super tasty. Great portions. Brilliant value (we love the feed the family for £20 chicken meal). Amazing ice-cream. Good friendly service. What a treat this place is! It is one of our favourite places for precious family time and wonderful food.

We (Myself, wife and two girls (4 & 6) decided to go for early tea (TripAdvisor calls it Dinner!!). Fancied a mexican and this was the only one near us anymore. Whilst not mexican enough (for our liking) the food was good, plentiful and their service was fantastic. Starts - GoodMain - BrillDesert - Icecream LovelySo in summary well worth it - especially as its not a big chain, the food is good, price is reasonable and we all left happy.Only feedback would be to put more mexican on the menu too.

Recently ate here for my husbands birthday and if you like nandos you will like this. The staff are fantastic with children making it a restaurant I will definitely return to.

The food is to DIE for!! Service is incredible and the staff are so attentive and welcoming. I can honestly say it’s one of the best meals I’ve had out to date! I ordered a Cajun chicken burger which comes with a side salad and it was actually mouth watering! Super afford and totally shocked with how amazing the food and service is.

Nine of our family came together for a Fathers Day tea. I’ve been to Chico’s Stafford before and always enjoyed my visit. Today Chico's was super busy but that didn’t affect the standard of food or the friendly service we received. Delicious food and good service all round. We may have had to wait a little longer for our order but that didn’t matter one bit. Still rate this place with full stars. Great freshly cooked food. Great value. See you again soon

Took 6 of us for family meal for a birthday treat. Staff were helpful and friendly. Food was excellent. Plenty of choice and portion sizes were great for adults and teenagers alike. Service was quick and refill drinks great value. Didn’t mind paying cash at all. Definitely go there again.

I have been a regular to Chicos from the time they opened. The food is excellent and the service is outstanding. The taste has been consistent from day 1. The portions of food served in generous compared to any other restaurant. The selection of desserts is overwhelming too. Very impressed by how clean and tidy it is every time. The management & staff are very friendly and take the time out to have a chat, which speaks in volumes of how they care for their customers.Definitely worth visiting.

Visited here with the lads for the first time and we were very impressed, the staff are a friendly and helpful bunch too. The chicken, fancy burgers and platters were top draw, everything was freshly prepared on the grill and the food tasted real good, prices are more than reasonable and portion sizes are generous. We finished off with some fruit platters and some of their dessert waffles which were next level! will defo be coming back here

Ate there with my family at Easter. Comfortable environment, a good range of delicious food at really good prices too. There’s an especially good range of desserts including a massive range of gelato. Would definitely return.

Five of us ate here for Mother’s Day and it was brilliant. The staff were very attentive and couldn’t do enough. The restaurant was clean and when we ordered at the counter, it was straightforward. The drink we’re lovely, we had Mocktails - Mojitos and Pina Colada’s. The food was brilliant and we all cleared our plates. The only slight downside was having to pay cash, but as long as you know this beforehand, it’s not a problem! I’ll definitely be back.

Have ordered from Chicos on two occasions and had it delivered . The food both times arrived hot and freshly cooked .

This visit was a different thing entirely, I had Fajitas which were delicious and plentiful and everyone else enjoyed their food with clean plates all round. Service was good with prompt delivery of both drinks and food.

We found this place by chance and what a gem. It’s like a Nandos but half the price and twice the quality.

What a great restaurant with a difference. They personalise to your taste, have a great gelato bar, great service with a smile a excellent prices. We will be returning and will take our friends too!

Family visit in Stafford we decided to go to chicos with the kids as we have been afew times now and its become a favourite.

I absolutely love this place. Friendly staff, good portions, delicious food and yummy ice cream!! I was disappointed to see they recently got rid of the ice cream sundae’s though :( As a side note, it’s Cash only but no problems

The food was good, I would have preferred something on the menu without chocolate as currently needed, and the two on there weren't available. However I don't think this will be a problem for most and there dessert selection is fab.

I could not recommend this place enough the food it’s great, the service was impeccable. It’s clean and inviting the staff are friendly. If you’re stuck on where to eat then give this place a go.

This place most definitely has the best food in stafford. It’s by far the most amazing chicken I have ever tasted . The staff are absolutely amazing too . Nothing is to much trouble fantastic experience every time. Let me tell you this food is not even comparable to the famous brand Nando’s . Brilliant staff- couldn’t be more helpful- loads of food, served promptly and piping hot. We couldn’t finish it & had to have a doggy bag. Would definitely go there again, brilliant. Wish they were licensed or did a BYO alcohol scheme.

Visited Chicos Peri Grill last night before our Son returned to Uni. WOW the food was fabulous. The staff were polite, friendly and very professional, fast service very clean and pleasing environment and really great prices for the quality of food.

Coming back to chicos for the 3rd visit this time with family. Excellent food, fresh salad, and amazing desserts. Chicos is a excellent venue to dine out with family and freinds.

My husband and I visited today for lunch and tried the lunch time deal for £5.00 each. We chose tender strips of marinated chicken breast, I had the mango and lime marinade and hubby had the lemon and herb flavour. Lovely fresh crispy salad with a fruity tasting dressing and chips/rice came with it. A free soft drink of your choice ( we chose spring water) completes the deal. Peri sauce is brought to the table and you are free to use as much or as little as you want. The surroundings are nicely decorated and clean and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Altogether a delicious meal on such a cold day and good value. We shall be back.

We decided to give Chico's a try on a whim, and we were impressed with the combination of surroundings, price and food quality, and I felt the staff were good without being fake-effusive.

We dropped in on our way back from Manchester, restaurant was clean and warm, the staff were helpful and happy. The food was freshly cooked and tasted amazing, the portions were generous and the prices cheap!! It's just a shame it's not closer to home.

Gave it a try but wouldnt go again, Good size portions, food well cooked but didnt like the sauces. Very basic decor and very drafty. Unlicenced cheaper alternative to nandos but you get what you pay for

Fabulous meal for my friends sons 15th birthday. Lovely atmosphere and a stunning aroma. We all had burgers n chips and they were great. The BLK burger comes served on a black burger bun which was actually very nice!

Walking in Stafford we were looking for something fresh and could just dig in to. As a group of 4 with teens we had many tastes to satisfy. Wish we found them sooner! Fresh, delicious, even side salad with burger was a step up. Gelato was good too. A place to add in your rotation and nice find for travelers. Not your usual mexican restaurant.

Visted here today with my partner and it was Delicious. The restaurant was very clean and the food was so fresh. Extremely cheap do what we had eaten as the portion sizes were generous. The staff were very friendly nothing was to much trouble I highly recommend this place

Perfect example of getting what you pay for! Absolute mess on the tables- menus covered in grease! I can understand being unable to pay on the card but let’s at least have a decent meal! Shocking food quality- I assume I’d be better off with frozen products from Tesco! Even for the fact that it’s so cheap I’d definitely recommend to avoid this place. KFC is cheaper and better...

We went for the first time and had a very nice meal. Service was good and the food arrived within about 5 mins. Food was very nice and good portion size - definitely worth the money! Only downside was that they don’t serve alcohol!!

Visited here for the second time with my family and we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The quality of the food, along with the wide variety, coupled with the portion sizes and value for money, makes it a perfect place for families to enjoy food together. Me and my wife enjoyed a platter for two and our two children loved their chicken. The food is very flavoursome and the desserts looked mouth watering but unfortunately we were too full to order any of them. Look forward to visiting again, definitely worth a visit, nice clean restaurant and staff are welcoming and seem happy to help

Absolute disaster of a night, i ordered the veggie burger with no cheese or mayo, i was given a chicken and bacon burger. Then when i sent it back the replacement had cheese and mayo smothered all over it. I asked for my money back multiple times which i eventually got. Also the steak burger that my brother had was awful, looked like it had been reheated multiple times and he wasn’t given any chips either.

I absolutely love this place. If I had to compare it to anywhere, I would compare it to Nando's, however Nando's don't have anything compared to this place. I've been twice now and it's been absolutely excellent both times. When I first went, I actually said to my partner that it's the best tasting meal I have had in years. It's not a "posh" restaurant, just nice food with a relaxed chilled vibe. The menu has great meal deals which is what I always go for, great value for money. The staff are so friendly, can't do enough for you, always smiling and go out of their way to say goodbye when you leave. The only negative is that it's cash only, but when we found this out, they still let us order and prepared our food while we walked to the cash point. A great place hidden away in Stafford. I will be visiting many times.

We enjoyed our first visit to Chico grill today. The lunch menu is fab value for money. The portions and the taste of the food was amazing for the price. Only pain was the cash situation... Really hope they get a card machine soon. The nearest cash point charges you to withdraw money. The food was definitely worth it. Will be visiting again.

If you like burgers these are worth a try as were the smoothies.

With the same meal as Nando’s, this was £5 cheaper and much bigger. Atmosphere was nice, quiet with plenty of light.

Visited here for the first time yesterday and we were very impressed with the quality of food, the peri chicken was amazing along with the chocolate and strawberry waffles, the best I’ve had in a long time if I’m honest. Staff came across friendly and helpful, they checked in with us to ask if we were happy with our food. The restaurant has a nice colourful feel to it and the seating area was tidy and clean. We will certainly be coming back to this place

Probably the best chicken wings I've ever had: moist but crispy. My sister had a scrumptious peri chicken meal. All in all, a great value tasty meal with friendly service.

Just returned from our first visit to Chico's is Stafford. There were 4 of us, we all chose something different from the menu and we were all impressed with the presentation, quality and taste. The staff are welcoming and friendly and we will definitely be going back for more. Highly recommend!!!

Evening meal out with friends. Great food, great staff, and good atmosphere. And very family freindly.

Food was of a good standard I had gourmet burger which I thought was just like a plain burger to be honest with fancy sauce drizzled on it.The starter of lamb chops was exactly what it was supposed to be but the spicy hot sauce with it was just not for me.(My fault it is Mexican after all lol)My niece had half a roast chicken with mango and lime sauce which smelt gorgeous and looked great to she loved it.My wife had lasagne which looked like lasagne nothing special.We had no check back see if everything was ok but to be fair when we asked for water they went and got some.So mixed review to be honest.I would go again to try the chicken.

We had waffles to finish which were excellent and the sizzling brownie which my daughter describes as “amazing”. I visited here earlier this evening for the first time and it was absolutely delectable. My family were amazed by the quality of the food. The manager was very polite and showed us the way to our table in no time. The waitress was warm and welcoming and always had a smile on her face. The quality of the chicken at this place is top class, the chicken just falls from the bone and it's soo flavoursome - love how they cook it. I've also had a couple of their fancy gourmet burgers which are equally tasty. The restaurant is comfortable and has a vibrant feel to it. Staff are polite and friendly, they're always happy to help. Walked in sat down table was not very clean and flies on window sill, handed the menus which also felt dirty too. Went to order food at till to be told they only accept cash and said we could pay after our meal and use the cash point at the garage which charges £1.50 for withdrawals

Decided to try here around four o’clock Sunday afternoon. service good not long waiting for food. Very clean restaurant and toilets good quality napkins not paper thin rubbish. Food was very tasty extremely well presented chicken delicious much more tasty than Nando’s much better value for money. Definitely recommend and definitely go back.

What a lovely new Resturant thats come to stafford its a nice change from a curry house, we had nachos to start deffiantly enough for two but absaulty beautiful, best nachos ive had in ages!! 1/2 chicken and a burger to follow as good as the starters and then cookie doughs for dessert, alltogether £40 for two people which is incredibly reasonable for a delicious 3 course meal for 2, the staff were also very friendly everyone chipping in from the chefs to the owner clearing down tables, i will be going again soon and hopfully many more times. Just to add it is Cash only but they are more than happy for you to open a tab leave and get cash when ever your ready

Newly opened so thought we would give it a try, food cooked well and quick to be served. Couple of points, need some sauces along the lines of hot,medium and mild peri peri with the chicken apart from mayonnaise and ketchup. Would rather have fries not large "rustic" chips, first plate brought out had some food left on it so sent back. Glad I got the half price voucher as I would have been disappointed paying full price.

Popped in for lunch today and were not disappointed. Staff were lovely and the owner / manager was very attentive checking we were happy before we left. We both had the gourmet burger one with rice one with chips and it was the tastiest burger I've ever eaten. Well done lovely to see freshly prepared delicious food. Well definitely be returning

Visited for lunch as work nearby, group of 4 adults and 1 child. The man kind of explained the menu to us, and that you have to order at the bar. We all had a lunch special - wraps and pittas with a range of sides - rice or chips, and a children’s meal. The food took about 30 minutes to come which is a bit slow when on a lunch break, but it was freshly cooked. The lady dumped the food on the table, we didn't know whose was whose, as some had medium spice, mango marinade etc we weren't asked if we wanted any sauces - I am not sure if the lady could speak English as she literally didn't utter a word. We had to get the man’s attention to ask which meal was which, he said he could take the wraps back to the kitchen distinguish whose was whose - we didn't fancy it being fingered through so just ate it, also 1 order was wrong - a wrap instead of a pitta - he did offer to change it but we didn't really have time as needed to get back to work. The children’s meal was obviously forgotten, it took a good 10 - 15 minutes longer to arrive after we asked about it. We had all more or less finished when the red hot chicken nuggets and chips arrived. They did offer a free ice cream and gave it in a take away carton but had no plastic spoons, they did give us a metal one! Another massive downside is they don’t serve alcohol! Not sure if you could take your own in the evening.

Never having eaten at a Mexican style restaurant, the friendly and enthusistic staff member explained the meals available for the £5 M-F lunch offer, and recommended that I start with the Peri chicken with a mild sauce, It was delicious, and was served with chips (or rice) and salad. I am looking forward t visiting again and trying more of the extensive menu. At present, as it is newly opened, the venue is cash only, and does not accept credit/debit cards.

We have been waiting for this place to open and it did not disappoint! We were greeted by friendly welcoming staff, the place as been finished to a very high spec which is nice on the eye as you look around, don’t want to say they have copied nandos but it is certainly nandos inspired!
