Ordered food for delivery and it took over 90 minutes to arrive, it was cold, shrivelled up from being reheated and inedible. Disgusting. Won't be getting food from here again.

Placed an order on their app. They canceled the order now waiting for a refund 5/7 days absolute joke stay away people this place was decent a while ago

You sent me very dry tasteless old chicken box today. We couldn't eat it. So disappointed.

I have given this place so many chances to sort the quality of their cooking out and I've had it now. The chicken breast is cooked so much its dry and hard and its inedible. You can't chew it. The bread, pitta or burger buns are always microwaved so they are either soggy and falling apart or rock hard. I have asked them many times to stop over cooking and microwaving everything. It's disgusting and lazy and a rip off.

I am gonna have to revise my 4 stars review from 3 years ago. The food quality went down a lot, the food is hardly edible. Oversalted, often cooked badly. I cannot recommend it.

Take back everything I’ve said about Chicketos. It’s changed hands, the food quality has gone downhill, stick to Jungle Grill… muuuch better quality of food, just like Chicketos used to be!

Used to be great. Had a fall out as they took my order to the wrong house and tried to give it me cold 1 hour later and now won’t refund me as they say I have to do it online however there is no option it says call the restaurant. Thick drivers have one job to deliver food to the right door but it appears way to difficult as this is not this first time as we order weekly!

Food hasn't turned up... waited an hour and fifty minutes for the food, before, calling to see if it was out for delivery. They said yes. Thirty five minutes after delivery still not turned up. Called several time and got no answer. Absolutely disgraceful service.

Waited over an hour for what should have been a 40 minute delivery. Food arrived stone called, chips felt / tasted like they’d been warmed up and were atrocious. Chicken was also cold & wasn’t crispy. Never again.

Delivery slightly late, My notes explained buzzer doesn't work. Delivery driver didn't read, was very rude shouting at the car park and woke up my neighbours. Called the takeaway, staff was apologetic. Very shocked at his behaviour, we do not want to see him here again. Food was ok.

Hubby just ordered party bucket from here and I have to say... best chicken shop around!!!! Portion sizes are really good, fresh, crispy chicken, hot when arrived, excellent price compared to other places. Will be our regular chicken place from now on. Not a single thing to moan about!!!

Fantastic service. Always polite. We get peri burger meal and its always delicious, never had a problem .we also sit in and we are made to feel welcome . We haven't tried anything else but we love the peri burger meal 😋 would recommend sitting in and enjoying it fresh and hot. 5 star for this burger meal ....

Food quality has diminished over the last couple of years. When we 1st started ordering from here, the food was amazing, but the last couple of orders have not been nice. Fries have arrived cold and chewy, and the taste of the fried chicken is getting worse. Also, unless we actually state, in the order comments, for someone to check the order before despatch the order is generally incorrect. Usually MAYO is on burgers where we have specifically stated that they contain NO MAYO, (due to members of my family having allergies) this results in the Meal having to be thrown in the bin. I have rang the shop a couple of times, but they are less than helpful and are very abrupt on the phone.

Rude and aggressive, and makes wonder if they act that way in person or are yous guys only tough on the phone?

Bought cheeseburgers from this place and the ketchup was like water.. It was as tho the ketchup was near the end and they added water and mixed it.. Cheese burger was dripping like a tap... Won't be going back again...

The food came 40 minutes late, was lukewarm and chewy as if it had been sat around on the hot plate for a while. You'd think if your food was going to arrive that late it would at least be hot and cooked fresh.

Wow. Where do I even begin? Since moving here in Feb 2021, me and my boyfriend have ordered from here once a week and every single time we are astonished with how incredibly delicious this simple fried chicken can be. The 1* reviews on here are definitely fake. Chicketos is one of the greatest fried chicken establishments in Manchester.

I ordered some food well in hospital. The delivery man was so rude .if they dont want to deliver then come off just tea...i will not be useing these people again .i paid for my food but never got it .

Decent food however rang to see if they could add mushroom to a garlic bread with cheese if I pay for it to be told it isn't possible. If you have mushroom that goes on pizza, how is it not possible to add that to garlic bread. Just not very good service & certainly not accommodating

I have ordered a big chicken box with 2 burger and at the end i did ask for a sauce for the chicken box and the guy who served me was so rude and said you have to pay pound for a sauce and i said i did buy big box chicken and the sauce supposed to come with it and he responded so rude and when we back home and tried to eat the chicken it was so bad so we had to put it in the bin and also the guy in the shop who serving customers need to behave better so I’m NOT RECOMMENDING this take away at all . Just wasted my money.

This spot clearly knows how to satisfy their clients. Always with a very kind approach. The food is conveniently priced, regularly yummy and clean.

Ordered Full platter of whole grilled chicken. Me and my husband ate small pieces each. The chicken was out of date. Smelly as if its rotten, we ended on the toilet the whole night. When I rang to complain, the guy was not interested as if he wasn't listening to what I was saying. Never again

I call this marvelous restaurant many times because I like the good mood that is exist in this place. The crew is extraordianrillyremarkably cordial and qualified. The service is certainly fast. Needless to say, the food you eat is exceptionaly good. I frequent more than once and I was always pleased. The cost is modest. I recommend this place to to all.

DO NOT USE THIS RESTAURANT Ordered a meal with some wings and arrived quickly however after eating a wing I soon realised it was ROTTEN which made me heave and have to spit it into the bag. I’m a professional chef do know what rotten chicken is and I’m now worried about haven eaten some I called the restaurant and got an extremely bad response and they refused to go and taste one of their wings. Good luck to anyone who orders from here but I will will certainly NEVER order again and I will be in touch with environmental health on Monday morning.

They are serving rotten chicken. It stinks and tastes like they’ve been rubbed up someone’s bum. My father who’s been a high level chef for 32 years is worried that we’ve eaten just one tiny wing they’re that bad.

It took over 2 hours to be delivered, the food was cold, soggy chips, random bits of cheese all over my chicken bites / onion rings?? They also forgot some peri chicken strips, so had to share my own meal between 2.

We have just received an order with a boneless mega box, missing chicken strips and missing pop corn chicken which we also ordered. Food was cold and pepsi was flat. Would not order again.🤢

Absolutely VILE! Food just arrived cold, chips were limp and supposed to be piripiri but only about 5 chips had the seasoning on, the gravy was not liquid, it was completely solid so much so you could hold it upside down. The chicken was like rubber.. Dont waste your money 🤢

If you want chicken and your favourite is closed or it’s too late to order, then this will provide a great alternative. It’s certain not a first choice, but as a back up you won’t be disappointed

I ordered a mix box which I order every week. It took 2 hours to arrive !! I took a bite in the fillet burger which was full of bones. They had put a piece of thigh chicken on the burger. I had payed £5.99 and expected the staff to deliver a new burger. However the employee I was speaking to insisted there was no bones on the burger and said I was a lier!! He was very rude and told me he didn’t care unless I brought the burger into the takeaway! Very rude staff!

Very disappointing last few times foods been cold and very late. Portions are quite poor as well.

I'd heard good things but unfortunately not impressed I ordered on line and collected after 15 minutes as instructed but the food was freezing.

I literally love the food but recently the portion sizes have halved and as a man with a large appetite the 10 chicken strips used to set me up perfectly for my on the way home kebab but tonight I feel disappointed. I have to say that if it wanting a proper size meal I'd go heavily tandoori they will sort you out with a good amount of food because that's literally where I'm going straight after I've written this review

I often use the JustEat app to order the mixed Peri chicken platter/ burgers/ pizza from here & always find the food to be delivered nice & hot & quicker than the app states. Other than the chips being a bit soggy from the steam trapped in the paper bag, the food is generally well cooked and at a good price in comparison to Nandos. Would recommend especially for the tasty Peri chicken.

If you are wanting a takeaway that isn’t too bad for you then this is the place! I have the half chicken platter with the rice option which is really lovely. It’s a bit like Nando’s but not as expensive. Delivery is always prompt. A good little takeaway!

Ordered on the app which was easy ....took 45 minutes to come and a drink was missing.. called them straight away and 35 minutes later still waiting for it ....coleslaw is horrible v watery ....good itself was enjoyable...this is the 2nd time something hasn't been delivered has definately put me off ordering again

Ok just got off the phone to chickeatos ,,,warm chicken ,,, Greek salad ,absolutely horrible,ordered 2 invited him back to eat it ,,,no chance don’t order it ... garlic mushrooms no taste . Had it before to night horrible,,,, wast I think cooks have changed spread it round ...only way they will learn to respect customer s ,,, not angry with them just want good food all the time they said it depends when the chicken comes out of the oven ,,I said it’s not the lottery I expect hot food all the time ,,,. Any how some times good a few times bad I don’t want people to say when you got it it was good or bad but I expect you to say I want it hot all the time ,every time ,,,and salad nice every time and a Greek salad to be a Greek salad not just crap .. if in doubt don’t get it

Have been once a week regular customers for a long time but tonight items were missed of the order. When we called we were called liars and was laughed at down the phone. Absolutely disgusting customer service and will not be returning. Especially after being told because we swore we would not recieve the food we had paid for. We swore because we were laughed at and called liars!

Didn’t deliver our food, told us we’d entered our address wrong and had delivered it to the address we gave. This was wrong, we could prove it, but flatly refused to send our food. Awful service, absolute thieves.

Food is fantastic the only trouble is it's takes ages to deliver you need to order well in advance but what you get is worth waiting for I think they need more delivery drivers because their delivery time is awful up to 1 and half hour

Been here a few times to give this place the benefit of the doubt I always try to give a place at least three attempts before I give a negative review as live very local, basically the food is poor quality and customer service is shocking. They seem to change the price when suits and very rude and abrupt to customers. The chicken is very poor quality and rather dry, the chicken burger is the worst I have ever had absolutely disgusting had to go in the bin. The latest visit and the last was the other day I asked for the three pieces of chicken meal, but I only like the breasts as the sides don't have much chicken on them and the drumsticks I don't like at all. The guy serving I think is the owner annotated this and said ok, I said two breast and one side will do, when I arrived home I had two sides and one drumstick also no napkins, wipes or salt on chips and to make things worst I chipped my tooth on a piece of chicken bone from the side all went in the bin . The drumstick was like biting into a grease filled but of warm dark meat that resembled chicken. My final thoughts go to KFC or Nandos

Charged us extra £2 to upgrade to chicken strips from chicken thighs as part of one of there deals which I found a bit tight. Food came ten mins late cold with no chips and no chicken strips apparently I asked for no chips! Plus no salad either which I specificly asked for separate. Rude when rang up to say food wrong and cold

Ordered numerous takeaways from here in the last few months and each one has been excellent. I tend to order the 2 piece chicken breast meal which comes with a fresh salad and chips or peri peri rice. Also tried the garlic bread with cheese and a few other things on the menu. Well worth a try

Ordered from here on the recommendation of my daughter, I got the 5piece boneless box with peri peri chips and it's as good as Nando's and far better than KFC no soggy breadcrumbs just chicken with a choice of sauces. I'll defo be going back again

Quality food at reasonable prices, what more could you ask for? Local, friendly and delicious, they even do delivery! The peri fries are a must-try too

We ordered a takeaway after a recommendation by a friend. We could not fault anything about the food or delivery. The children had wrap meals and have both asked to have food from there again. We had the full chicken with rice and chips. It was perfectly cooked and the salad was colourful and not just an afterthought to the meal. We will be ordering again.

If you like nando's you have to visit here. Great chicken, spicy rice etc.. Fantastic price too.. Also sell KFC type chicken etc and pizzas. Can see this being our regular take away.
