Chicken Time in Reigate and Banstead

Chicken Time is an average spot if you're in the mood for a quick meal. I tried their peri peri rice, and it was decent, it didn't stand out much in terms of flavor, the chicken is alright ,not good or bad. The portions are so small and also they charge way more than other shops, the pricing in this shop needs to be reconsidered, £2.50 for a small bottle of Coke ??? , you can get one cheaper outside in a corner shop or somewhere. The service is mediocre, the staff really needs to be trained in customer service, like it's not welcoming at all, you get a feeling of not being welcome but I have to admit the wait times are really low which is good compared to other surrounding chicken shops. Overall, it's okay for a quick bite, but there are better options out there if you're looking for something more welcoming, better while being cheaper

I recently visited Chicken Time and was pleasantly surprised by their meal box of chicken wings and chips. The wings were perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with a well-balanced flavor. The portion size was generous, and the chips were just to my taste. Overall, it was a satisfying and tasty meal at a reasonable price. I'll definitely be coming back!

Got chicken burger meal for £ 7.49. Got half portion chips and a medium burger. Very expensive and small portions compared to other chicken shops.

Just had a double chicken burger meal and it was 10/10 friendly staff and very quick wait time.

Just ordered chicken fillet burger and inedible. Chicken was so hard and one of them was spicy when I clearly stated I didn’t want spicy . Also ordered chicken pieces for my colleagues which again it as tough as hell. This used to be a really good chicken place but has totally gone down hill. Also had to sit through this vile customer that had his phone on loudspeaker talking about his fat girlfriend. I’ll revisit in a few weeks to see if it’s improved .

Best fried chicken around, beats KFC hands down. Great crispy golden batter with good spice, crispy but fluffy chips. 10/10 if you order in the store - get fresh chicken. Wouldn't suggest ever ordering delivery, always takes way longer than they say (took one hour and a half last time), go in there and order it fresh

Honestly, really good. Ordered 1/2 peri peri chicken hot and some wings. It was definitely spicy but wasn’t too much. no complaints about the food and delivery was much quicker then expected. Order on website instead of on apps, doesn’t work out that much cheaper but still cheaper.

This might sound crazy but I’ve been to a lot of chicken shops in and around London and I’ve never been more impressed by chicken time, great service, 10/10 fast food and most of all the best spicy chicken burger in Surrey. I’ve been to this place more times than I can count. Yes the prices have gone up in years as per everywhere but trust me this place is constantly consistent and always provides a satisfying meal. If you haven’t tried it yet, please do, you won’t be disappointed.

Just ordered delivery direct from the website. Cheaper than Uber eats and super fast delivery .said 1 hour and was here in 20 mins. I honestly couldn't tell the difference between KFC and chicken time . The coating was the same which is what I liked about KFC. Will be buying from chicken time from now on !!

Went to a pub in Reigate and this was the only place that was open late. Decided to not go to Nando's and instead go here because of the closing time. Went here at 21:45pm and it was closed despite their website saying 23:30pm on a Thursday. Staff response was 'that closing time must be Friday-Saturday' which is even more worrying considering the website states 1am on a Friday-Saturday. What's happened here? Can the owner amend the closing times please, so that myself and others do not waste our time and leave ourselves without a food option because you've decided to close hours earlier than your website states. I have 'suggested' 21:30pm as the REAL closing time on Google, hopefully it is approved. Shame I didn't take a photo because that would of helped Google approve my request to change the time.

Chicken Time is the best chicken shop in the UK. Unrivalled wings, peri-salted chips go crazy, and the staff are unreal. The only downside is when they’re out of peri-salt ;)

Absolutely waste of money . Food was not tasty . The portion were too tiny as kids meal . Large peri peri rice £5 you can see in the picture below how small . Looks like side dish . Burger was also very small just like kids burger bun. Quick service as no one was there in the Sunday afternoon .

I ordered mild and after 1 bite my mouth was on fire I don't know weather you use the same sauce for everything but that is more than mild that's more like extra hot. And the mini fillets always are dry, 1 pot of little rice £4.99 😯 other than that food was okay

Use to be a decent place, chicken is dry, not good value for money. Chicken fillet burger, is tiny for the price. Only bottled drinks for an extra £1.30. I wouldn't recommend anything.

Cheap and tasty, very good place

Worst customer service… On two occasions have I been called out for lying over the phone about not receiving my order. First time when I ordered and only received six wings, so I had to call back to get my actually order which was actually sent again from the driver after the guy I spoke to hung up calling me a liar, he did not even try to have a civil conversation to sort out things. Second time I was expecting my food around 7:35-7:55 and was called a liar again after being told the food arrived already when I was waiting since 7:40 (cause it was definitely not coming at 7:35) and he had called my phone 6 times, checked my phone and saw no miss calls at all. Food then arrived around 8:15-8:20

This place is a joke staff rude call you a liar when get your order wrong rude staff rude owner hygiene don't use gloves bare hands and have audacity to call customers liars when they get orders wrong especially when your intolerant to dairy an they don't care and add cheese anyway an if complain they don't remake they just scrape the cheese off totally rubbish don't waste your money here. Look at the other reviews these people have zero respect for there customers.

Really top draw chicken amazing flavours, lovely staff and freshly made fries. I've tried many KFC alternatives but thi topped the list, even nicer than KFC in my opinion. I had tried once before and loved it, so bigged it up to my family and wasn't disappointed, they loved it too. Definitely worth making the trip to

I have been ordering my take away from this restaurant for the last 4 years I spent in Reigate. The staff is always very fast and welcoming. The food is delicious and at a great price. The owners are very nice. I am moving out of Reigate today and I will miss thid place.

After my order yesterday 2nd August we were disappointed so I am giving them 1 star. I can't contact them through their website as message does send. But I have rated my order on uber eats. Yesterday our order included 4 chicken Fillet Burgers and when we got them we were disappointed because we only had a small chicken strip inside each bun instead of the usual chicken Fillet size burgers which we have had many times before. I attached the pictures to show the size of the chicken now. Is this the size of the Chicken you will be putting inside your chicken Fillet burgers from now on please?? I want to know why was chicken strips were used? We have brought from Chicken time many times before and have ordered these chicken Fillet burgers from here and each time the Fillet inside them have always covered the whole base of the bun and always seemed like it was a whole chicked breast Fillet size in the bun and this is why we returned and brought them. After my order yesterday and the reduced chicken Fillet size I don't think I will be return again. ☹

Ordered it via Uber eats app and scheduled it to be collected on Sunday as family is at home. The owner was extremely rude upon collection and lied about the fact that the orders was binned by them as I was slightly late and he threw the receipt on the counter. I forgot to add cheese in the burger and he told me he can’t do it because they are not charity which made me shocked about the extremely poor customer service. I won’t recommend people ordering food from them and would not buy from them again as the owner don’t have respect for other and was even rude to his staff. He was also not wearing gloves and using his hands to put wings in the bag not hygienic at all. Won’t deserve even 1 star.

We had a grilled chicken meal bc Nando’s was closed and found a gem! We’ll always be back to Chicken Time now. Much better than you’re average or chain casual chicken shop. Great foodie experience

Absolutely shocking and disgusting. This was second time round when food purchased from here was chewy and nasty. And as i went to put forward my concern in a very polite manner, so called manager was rude and nasty claiming that his food can never be like that and that i have never visited his shop before. I was speechless. Overall the most appalling experience i have had in any fast food stores. Stay away if you love your health and self respect.

I ordered a pack of 20 wings with three bags of fries and another pack of 6 wings (total of 26 wings). When they delivered it, the delivered only 14 pieces of chicken so 12 wings missing. But from these 14 pieces most of then were not wings!!! They were small pieces of chicken breast. By the way only two bags of chips were delivered too rather than 3. I tried to contact them and they accused me of lying that they never do that and they were refusing from helping at all. I have ordered many times from them with no problem, I do not know if it is because the reopened today after a long period closed due to covid-19 and they did not have supplies but lie to the customer, charge them and send what they did not order and also send half of what they asked for is not permissable. Awful customer service, accusing of lying!!

i was amidst a spiritual cleansing as i soared through Reigate, standing aloft, the cool spring air breezing past my winter clothing, still trying to adapt to the ever changing climate. I was trying and trying, over and over again to let go of all my inner demons and Chicken Time is where i found the solution. The succulent aroma of quality fried chicken swarmed my body like bees around honey and i, now sent into a chicken fueled trance-like state, levitated towards the entrance of the shop. Staring deep into the heart-warming "OPEN" sign. The rush of adrenaline as i reached the door hit me harder than my wives divorce papers and i was catapulted in the direction of the ever so friendly staff Instantly, I was recommended the Spicy Chicken burger, and within 5 minutes of completing my order, it stood in front of me. Glaring into my soul in a heart-warming manner. I devoured it like a beast and when i was done, i ordered another, and so became my loop of infinite chicken time. Seconds after i ingested the chicken i became woke, i saw things in so many different ways and i opened my mind to thousands of new ideas. I personally believe that we all can go through this journey of mental and physical evolution, all that we need is standing in front of us, 19 church street, Reigate. Sincerely, A bored 14 year old in off games, spreading his love for chicken, and time (hoping to at least get an extra free wing aswell)

Best Chicken Shop in the local area. Menu 3 is godly, can’t wait to try the mega platter. The chicken is of great quality, and fast great service. Special shoutout to Mercedes Hat (staff-worker), deserves a raise. Bossman and Hello mate also have great service. Miss the Irish worker (Terry Chango). Overall, great chicken shop I would recommend.

Very poor service, no courtsey to customers, showed unhappiness at cancellation of order made through Just Eat, making open comment that it is only 2 pounds more if ordered through Just Eat. Very unprofessional attitude and behaviour.

Ordered from here today for the first time. Wasn't satisfied. Chicken was so dry, had strips, half a chicken, and strips, all was completely dry. Chips was over done, so hard. Wouldn't recommend at all and delivery time took ages.

Amazing food and great value! My only advice to the restaurant would be to perhaps give some customer service training to the delivery driver as he is always very stand offish and makes us feel that we are an inconvenience. Other than that I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever.
