Chicken Shop in Cheshire West and Chester

AWFUL!! Ordered through Just Eat, didn't arrive after an hour, rang them and they said give it ten more minutes....2 hours later it finally arrived. Barely warm, 2 items missing, mushy wings (the batter was gloopy and not crispy), soggy chips with the incorrect rub on them. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

We’ve been here for many years and always enjoyed it, but sadly last night was not the case. Unsure if things have changed but the chips were different and my husband and I have been ridiculously ill since late last night! Safe to say, we will be avoiding here again as I’ve never been more sick following a meal.

Were do i start the lady took my order , waited 25 minutes finilly got my order but was wrong i complained but the staff were very rude didnt want to know and would not change it I would not recommend to go here over priced aswell .

Absolutely terrible! Ordered online for them to phone me up and tell me that my house it to far away…. Which is fair but then to take my money and not refund me? No food no drinks pretty much scammed me so please don’t order from these as they will take your money and receive absolutely nothing

I only ordered a take out once with chicken shop. They claim their menu has a vast array of chicken dishe so I ordered 4 Chinese chicken wings 10 chicken nuggets in spicy coating 20 chicken pops coated in spicy coating, and a bag of fresh fries . So I ordered coated chicken wings chicken strips southern fried chicken nuggets with fries. Total amount with delivery £30. Driver arrived two hours later. I opened bag expecting what ii ordered and was shocked . There were a handful 4 or 5 fries stone cold with black burnt charcoal all over, 20 - 25 small. Marble sized chicken balls in plain bread crumbs. No chicken wings. No nuggets. I rang them and explained my order was an hour late stone cold and I I did not receive the Chinese chicken wings or the chicken nuggets and only received 5 cold charcoal coated cold fries and 20 maybe 35 stone cold chicken balls in bread crumbs for £30!. A teenager answered phone. After My explanation he said " what's your problem that's what you ordered! " well screamed it at me. I replied no I ordered 4 chicken wings bag of fries not 5 individual fries ( charged £6 for) 10 chicken nuggets etc. He said thats what you got! He said chicken wings are strops of chicken from a chicken wing in bread crumbs made into balls chicken nuggets in bread crumbs made into balls from chicken breast and 25 chicken pops which are chicken balls in bread crumbs from thighs. He then said we only sell chicken balls coated in breadcrumbs and you can have the balls from the leg thigh breast or wing made into balls coated in breadcrumbs thats what you got! I said so you only sell chicken balls in breadcrumbs he says yes and you chose chicken balls from the wing part of the bird nuggets are also from thigh or wing no choice and chicken pops are the balls with bread crumbs from breast. You spent £30 on 25 - 30 chcken balls and 5 fries. That's what you got madam! Don't order with us again as you clearly received all 25 chicken balls in bread crumbs! Yet their menu stated Chinese chicken wings etc not chicken balls in bread crumbs taken from a chicken wing! They are running a food scam!

Food took 10 minutes under 2 hours to arrive. I did ask where It was when I eventually got through line was busy. The lady on the other end of the phone was rude. Then to top it all off my chicken burger wasn't cooked!!!! Will never order from there again

The best chicken shop in chester... better than kfc... fast delivery. always fresh food. Lovely owners and staff members.. never been dissatisfied.. can eat in the establishment.. very clean... deals available

I order often from here an I have to say the food is 10 x better than kfc.. the food always arrives hot. Excellent value for money.. the chicken strips are the nicest I've ever had. Caters for all the family. Lovely staff and delivery drivers. Not been let down by them once.. a defo if you fancy a takeaway!!!

This food is better than kfc... quick delivery food is always hot.. lovely delivery drivers. Staff an owners are brilliant.. you will not be disappointed

No one is wearing mask in thus restaurant. Quite risky . People behind counter is much higher than vivid safety regulations.

Beware of time, never game good estimation of time. If they say 10 minutes be prepared to wait at least half an hour. Food is worse than what you expect for price

A regular of the Chicken Shop has been recommending it for ages. We finally listened and ordered 14 pieces plus fries- eyes bigger than our bellies. Food delivered last Friday - 26th June in a speedy fashion. Food was hot and was delicious- my wife particularly enjoyed it, despite usually preferring the breast. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Staff very friendly. I even called Sasha personally to thank her. This will be a regular from now on. - although we may order a smaller meal.

Please be aware of hidden delivery charge, says delivery free but as you are waiting for your order to be delivered they ring you and tell you you need to pay delivery person £2, no were on their own website do they state about delivery! Just says delivery free when completed order, when you question them on the phone about it they say it does say over 3 miles!! No where! No where at all does it say anything other than free delivery! Just be aware HIDDEN DElIVERY CHARGE!!

Customer service needs to do better. Food isn’t always the same. Flavour needs to be consistent one day it’s nice one day it’s horrible. I travelled 25 mins and got there and ordered 1 portion of 12 wings and straight after ordered another. 2 portions of wings, went inside and said I’ve just ordered another portion and they said 10 mins. Anyway we waiting there 27/28 mins And then they finally said it’s ready, we got it and went home to realise they had only given us 1 portion!!! I called up and the lady had said they can’t offer me a refund but I can go and collect it however it wasn’t worth me travelling back just to collect it and had asked if I could collect it another day when I next pop in and they agreed. I had gone today (the next day) and had ordered online a12 portion of wings and had put in the comments that I am the customer from the night before that didn’t receive the extra portion of Wings that I payed for and I would like that along with the extra I had ordered today. We ordered at 8:15 and got there 8:45 to give them time, 30 mins later they were still not ready. My younger sister popped it to say she’s come to collect it and o explain the situation that happened yesterday and they SHOUTED OVER HER. And she was confused as I had told her just pop in and tell them yesterday they forgot to give us the wings. The two women in the front rudely continues to TALK OVER HER and didn’t give her the chance to speak. They had then said 6 minutes. 12 minutes later it was ready and I went to collect it. The lady then handed it over to me whilst saying I owe them money for the portion of wings I asked for from yesterday. I had asked why as I already paid it and paid for todays, and she had said because I’m collecting today I still need to pay. This was a good 3/4 minute conversation of me scowling to her that I had payed for it and they are not giving me a free one as I had payed for it yesterday but they didn’t give it. She then looks after the receipt once more after 5 times and says oh okay. This is a chicken shop. Chicken wings should pretty much already be ready and it should not take 45 mins to make at all!! Along with the terrible customer service of talking over my 11 year old sister and then telling me I owe them money?? FIX UP. The food was horrible. It was bland and chicken was undercooked.

Best food in Chester. much better than KFC. don't miss it. they do a combination of KFC and Nando's.

Food is always on point, Even the chips are special. Portions are massive compared to Kfc and in all honesty Its so much nicer I order nearly weekly from here and will continue to the owners are really nice they look after the locals with top tier chicken and delivery is usually within 20 minutes.

I’m quite the connoisseur when it comes to chicken shops. In all my visits to a variety of establishments, never have I been served with such efficiency, atmosphere and overall deliciousness. Every aspect of the diner is 5 star value. Sash is a key member of the staff, always friendly and willing to converse. They also cater for birthdays and family functions. The till staff are always available for a lighthearted chin wag between ordering and receiving food, making it a seamless and short wait. Delightful experience every time without fail. If they served carlings it would serve to be the local.
